Yuki's POV

"Now not only has Yuma lost Astral, but with it went his confidence." I said.

"Then he needs to get it together, the world is at stake here." Cloe groaned.

"So callous." I sighed "How many heroes have you helped; they always enter funks like this. Besides Luna went with Kite and Quinton to take care of that remember."

"You're letting her run around with those two, that's dangerous." Cleo said.

"She's old enough to make her own choices on those matters, I won't stand in her way." I said.

Luna's POV

"It's freezing out here." I shivered.

"You shouldn't have come if you can't handle it." Kite said.

"I can handle it." I said "The flames of anger will keep me warm."

The red gem on my necklace glowed.

"Sorry it's a one person power up you understand." I smirked.

"You two stop acting like children." Quinton said.

"Me a child?" I scoffed "I'm probably older than the two of you put together. Let's just get this stupid thing back to the city and see if it snaps Yuma back to reality."

If Astral was really gone we'd know, it's not like the Gods would just take the death of a hero lightly according to Yuki.

"Still this idea…an teleporter to alternate worlds, if the gods hear about this they'll be super mad at me!" I said

"I already heard about it." A voice said.

Looking up one of the ships in the harbor moved and Sadness surfaced from the water.

"Playing with such things is extreme and dangerous, I should destroy this device now." She spoke solemnly "but…you came up with a rather ingenious way of correcting the flow of this struggle so I'll allow it, for now."

"Then we shall get to work." Quinton said as the plane with Yuma arrived.

Kite and the other boy explained the plan to Yuma, to use residual energy to send him to the astral world and theoretically find and save Astral. We got Yuma set up but just before we could start a Barian appeared to try and sabotage us.

"Trying to visit the Astral world, did you think we would allow that." The man with the long nose said.

"A Barian, in human form." I said studying him.

"Fascinating." Sadness stood behind me in an ethereal from as the power started going out.

"He cut the power." Kite said "We can still charge it with Orbital's energy, stay put Yuma."

"Alright then, we'll deal with this guy." I walked up and engaged my disk.

"Yes, leave this to us." Quinton nodded.

"Since it's three vs one I start with 10,000 LP and you each get 2000 LP." The Barian, Scritch, said.

"Fine with me." I nodded "Ladies first."

I drew my hand.

"I start by summoning Buster Whelp of the Destruction Swordsman

Buster Whelp of the Destruction Swordsman- LVL 1 ATK 400/DEF 300
"Its effect lets me get a Destruction Sword card from my deck to my hand, and then I'll play the spell I just got Destruction Swordsman Fusion! This way I can fusion summon a monster with Buster Blader in its name, so I fuse the Buster Blader and King of the Swamp in my hand to summon Buster Blader the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman!"

Buster Blader the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman- LVL 8 ATK 2800/DEF 2500

"I lay down a face down card and end my turn."

Quinton went after me and quickly used his cards to summon Number 9: Dyson Sphere

Number 9: Dyson Sphere- RANK 9 ATK 2800/DEF 3000/OVRL 2

Kite then went and summoned Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon.

Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon- LVL 8 ATK 3000/ DEF 2500

"Then it's my turn." Scritch went "I summon Mosquito Force!"

Mosquito Force- LVL 2 ATK 200/DEF 0

"Since it was summoned, I can add a copy of it from my deck to my hand, then play the spell Ninjutsu Art of Mosquito Marching!"

With that spell he special summoned two more copies of Mosquito Force and overlayed them to summon an XYZ monster

Number 2: Ninja Shadow Mosquito- RANK 2 ATK 0/DEF 0/ OVRL 3

"Here we go." I hummed as he set a card and ended his turn.

"I'll go." I drew "I play premature burial to revive the Buster Blader I used in my fusion summon last turn."

Luna- 2000 to 1200 LP

Buster Blader- LVL 7 ATK 2600/DEF 2300

"I then Tune it with my Buster Whelp to Synchro Summon Buster Dragon!"

Buster Dragon- LVL 8 ATK 1200/DEF 2800

"I'll then use my spell Scroll of Bewitchment to change Buster Blader's attribute to Dark." I said "I overlay my Level 8 Buster Dragon and my Level 8 buster Blader the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman to summon, Rage from the Grave! Number 22: Zombiestein!"

Number 22: Zombiestein- RANK 8, ATK 4500 DEF 1000 OVRL 2

"Time to win." I smiled "Now attack Number 2: Ninja Shadow Mosquito!"

"I also detach and Overlay unit from my Monster." Scritch said "With this I take no battle damage plus it can't be destroyed in battle and your monster gains a hallucination counter which stops its abilities from working."

My attack landed but nothing happened.

Kite and Quinton had similar turns where their monsters were rendered inert by the counters, but I had a plan after we outlasted a burn strategy from Scritch.

"If you attack now, you'll destroy yourself." The Barian laughed.

"That effect only works when my monster has a counter on it, so I'll just have to make that go away." I showed a card "I play the spell Rank up Magic: God's Force!"

"I overlay Zombiestein with itself to summon an even strong monster, A Fury from Hades!

Number G22: Rampaging Zombiestein!"

Number G22: Rampaging Zombiestein: RANK 9 ATK 5000 DEF 1500 OVRL 3"

Zombiestein threw off it's cloak to reveal an angry oni like brute with blazing red hair and even stronger muscles.

"When summoned God numbers take the Overlay units of all other XYZ monsters on the field as their tribute." I explained.

Number G22 OVRL- 3 to 5

"Then I activate it's ability!" I said "For each overlay unit I use my monster gains 1000 ATK points! I'll use all five and double it's attack!"

Number G22: 5000 ATK to 10,000 ATK

"Now there's no counter on my monster since it was resummoned and you have no Overlay units left!" I smiled "Attack Number 2: Ninja Shadow Mosquito!"

"Impossible! You won't win I play Ninjutsu Art of Mosquito repellent to give my monster-."

"Trap Jammer." Quinton revealed his card "That won't work."

"This is the wrath of a God!" I said "You're but a feeble bug compared to them!"

Scritch: 10000 to 0 LP

With that we won, but I felt exhausted, summoning a God Number was no easy task.

"Not bad, improvement is clearly needed still, your stamina most clearly it's sad how a young one must do such strenuous battle." Sadness flipped back into the water "The world is in your hands young ones, best of luck."

With that we got Yuma off to the Astral world, hopefully we could solve this soon.
