Harry Potter and the Day that changed his Life
Chaper One
A.N. This Story starts after the Battle of the Ministry. A few Things are different then in Canon. Firstly Sirius didn´t die in the Battle, secondly Harry took the Nasty Curse that was meant for his Sister Hermione and third Bellatrix never became a Deatheater and is still Bellatrix black to this Day and a high ranked Auror. The Main Couple of this Series will be Harry and maybe Luna will be added to them if I feel like it. I am not sure about all the Side Pairings at the Moment but there will be one for sure and that will be Hermione and Ginny. With that out of the Way I hope you will enjoy the Story as much as I enjoy writing it.
Nymphadora Tonks was walking towards the Main Entrance of Hogwarts with one Thought in mind hopefully Harry is okay so I can finally tell him how I feel about him.
Sirius was walking next to his Cousin and knew exactly what was going through her Mind at this very Moment but decided not to say anything. He stopped after a few Seconds to give her a few Minutes of Privacy.
After walking for two more Minutes Tonks was able to open the Door to the Hospital Wing and walk up to Harry´s Bed. Nearing the Bed she saw Hermione sitting at her Brothers Bed holding one of his Hands.
"Hey Hermione how are you holding up?" Tonks asked while sitting down on Harry´s other Side.
Hermione looked up to find the familiar Face of Tonks "I am okay I just want him to wake up. That Curse was meant for me, I should be laying here not him. I mean I am grateful for what he did for me, but I hate that I am the one that is worried now. I know that´s selfish to say but I can´t help it"
"Obviously you know your Brother better then I do but there is one Thing that I do know and that is that he could never life with himself if something happened to you Hermione." Tonks replied while looking down and taking
Harry´s other Hand in her own.
Hermione saw the Movement of Tonk´s Hand and smiled to herself.I know she it. She looked at her Friend "Tonks you can fool the others but not me. I know what you feel for my Brother, so the Question is how are you holding up?"
Tonks blushed a bit and looked up into Hermione´s Eyes, "To be honest with you, I am really mad at myself right now. I was always thinking about our Age difference. I mean I am three Years older then you and Harry but now I realized that I could never live with myself if I keep it to myself any longer."
By the Time she was done talking a few Tears started rolling down her Cheeks. "Sorry I am in here crying and you are probably more sad then I am. I will leave you alone."
"No please don´t leave Tonks. I promised I wouldn´t say anything to you about this, but now I feel like I should just say it. My Brother really loves you as more then a Friend, so please stay here, you deserve to be here and he would want you to be here." Hermione said while looking at the pink-haired Auror.
"You really mean that? He really loves me?" Tonks asked just to be sure that she heard it right.
Hermione nodded her Head and gave Tonks a small Smile before turning and looking at her Brother again. "I hope he can forgive me for telling you about his Feelings."
"I am sure he will" Hermione heard a Voice and then recognized that it was Harry´s Voice. "Harry your awake" she said happily and then hugged her Brother gently. Harry hugs his Sister back but stays in Bed while doing so.
"Wait how long have you been awake for?" Hermione asked remembering her Conversation with Tonks.
"For the last Five or ten Minutes I guess, but your Conversation was way to interesting to show that I am awake." Harry said.
"So you heard everything I said?" Tonks asked speaking for the first Time since Harry was able to hear them.
"Well I will leave you two alone for a few Minutes and when I come back in here I want to see two happy Faces." Hermione said and then walked out of the Hospital Wing.
While Hermione and Sirius talked outside the Hospital Wing the Conversation inside was far more Interesting.
"I am sorry you had to worry about me and I am sorry for not saying anything about my Feelings for you sooner, but I was afraid you would reject me" Harry apologized to the Woman next to his Bed.
"No need to apologize and we made the same Mistake because I was afraid of Rejection as well." The pink-haired Auror replied.
They were sitting in comfortable Silence for a few Seconds before Harry spoke again "So since we basically confessed our Love for each other just now there is one Thing I really want to do right now."
Tonks smiled at him and said "Then by all means go ahead and do it, maybe I can even help a little."
After saying those Words she leaned down towards him while he rose his Head just a bit so that their Lips connected and they shared their first Kiss together.
After being lost in thoughts about how good the Kiss felt Harry looked at Tonks and asked with a shakier Voice then before "Tonks will you be my Girlfriend?"
"Yes I will be your Girlfriend but there is one Condition, from now on you will either call me Babe or Dora, no more Tonks." the asked Woman replied with a Grin on her Face.
"I think I can manage that." Harry said, smiled at his new Girlfriend and then kissed her again.
Right at that Moment the Door to the Hospital Wing swung open and Hermione and Sirius walked into the Room.
"Something I missed here?" Sirius whispered to Hermione once he saw Harry and Tonks kissing.
Hermione looked at him and smiled "Seems like they finally got together. And don´t you dare say something to make Fun of them now."
"Oh your no Fun Hermione" Sirius said with a Smile on his Face.
"I am being serious about this. Both of them need this right now." Hermione answered him.
Now moving towards her Brother Hermione said "Hey Lovebirds some Time for Conversations?"
Tonks blushed as she moved her Head away from her new Boyfriend and properly sat down on her Chair.
"Yeah as long as it will be quiet. Madame Pomfrey said that I need to stay here for a few Days and get my Rest." Harry answered Hermione´s Question.
"I promise we will leave you two alone soon enough, but I am your Sister Harry and I was worried about you. I want to spend some Time with you as well." Hermione said and sat down on Harry´s other Side.
After Sirius checked on Harry and spend a good two Hours talking with him, Hermione and Tonks he said his goodbye with the Promise to visit him once more before the Year was over.
"So Mione something I missed while being in here?" Harry asked his Sister once it was only the three of them.
"Yes there is something that you missed but it can wait until you get out of here." his Sister answered while looking into the Distance.
"Okay since you are looking away from me I know it has something to do with you Mione. Please tell me Mione, you know I won´t find any Sleep now because I worry about you." Harry pleaded with his Sister.
Hermione sighed but nodded her Head and said "Alright I will tell you but only if you promise me to listen until I am done talking."
"I promise Mione please just fill me in. I feel like I am missing a lot here"
"Alright so first of today is not the Day of the Battle anymore. Two Days past since then and you were out cold for most of that Time. For most of that Time I was sitting at your Bed and hoping and waiting that you would wake up. But after the Battle I was out for a few Hours as well and once I woke up I found Ginny sitting at my Bed. Once I was fully awake she confessed her Love for me, we talked about it and since I feel the same Way about her we got together earlier today, so you are not the only one with a new Relationship." Hermione said looking into Harry´s Eyes.
"Oh wow that really is a lot. First of I am sorry that you had to worry about me I know how much you hate me being hurt. I am happy for you and Ginny but I have a Question." Harry replied to his Sister.
The bushy Haired Witch nodded her Head "Ask away then"
"Why didn´t Ginny stay with you? I mean I know I would want to stay with my Girlfriend if she was hurt." Harry wanted to know from his Sister.
"She needed to send a Letter to her Family and I told her she could go because I would be fine, otherwise she would be here right now. Since you are feeling better now, I think I will go and find Ginny, I know you will be in good Hands. Have Fun you two, I will be here first Thing in the Morning and I will bring some Breakfast with me." Hermione said
Hermione walked out of the Hospital Wing a few Minutes later after she congratulated Harry and Tonks on their new Relationship once more.
I hope they will stay happy together they both deserve it she thought to herself while walking into the common Room.
Inside the common Room a Redheaded missile by the Name of Ginny Weasley ran into her Arms "Are you feeling alright?" She asked while holing onto Hermione.
"Yes I am alright Gin, I just had a Conversation with Harry, Tonks and Sirius. After Sirius left I told Harry everything he missed while he was out." Hermione said while gently rubbing her Girlfriends Back.
"I am sorry Mione but after what happened I got worried about you once it got late, but I am happy that Harry is awake how is he?" Ginny replied to Hermione.
"He is okay is all I can say for now, the Rest is up for him to tell you and the others. Now come closer and give me a Kiss" Hermione said.
Ginny smiled at her new Girlfriend, moved even closer to her and kissed her softly.
In the Hospital Wing a similar Scene could be found between Harry and Tonks who were kissing each other again with Tonks laying next to Harry in his Bed.
"I can´t believe we waited this long. I should have said something sooner." Tonks said after pulling out of the Kiss.
"At least we have each other now but there is one Thing I need to talk to you about Babe." Harry replied to her.
"What is it Harry? You know you can tell me anything" Tonks asked while gently playing with her Boyfriends Fingers.
Just as Harry was about to answer his Girlfriends Question the Door to the Hospital Wing swung open and Luna basically ran into the Room and over to Harry´s Bed.
"Luna what are you doing here?" Harry asked
"Oh Harry I was a Mess the last few Weeks and sadly it took us getting attacked for me to realize that. What I am trying to say is, I never stopped loving you Harry. I broke up with you because I overheard a Conversation that you had with Hermione about your Feelings for Tonks here. I was so hurt that I didn´t listen anymore and just ran away but today Hermione told me the Rest. All I can say is that I am sorry Harry and I still love you." Luna said with Tears rolling down her Cheeks.
"Lu of course I still care about you as well but I am with Dora now and I don´t want leave her." Harry said.
"You don´t have to leave me to be with her Harry." Tonks said while looking at Harry.
"What do you mean?" Harry asked
"Well you are by Law the current Lord Potter and since my dear Cousin Sirius is not able to have a Child of his own he made you Lord Black as well. Therefore you have the Right to have a Second Woman in your Life. Is this what I expected to happen so soon after I confessed my Love for you? No it´s not but I am not about to walk away from you just because of it. I love you Harry Potter and after what Luna said I know she does as well." Tonks explained to her Boyfriend.
"Are you sure you would be okay with something like that? I don´t want to lose you." Harry asked her.
"I am sure Harry but I think it is better if we keep this between the three of us for now. People will be talking about it enough once they find out about it." Tonks answered her Boyfriend.
Harry looked between the two Woman next to his Bed "What do you think Luna?"
"If you are okay with it Harry then it is okay for me. After all I thought I would go in here tell you what I had to say, get rejected and walk away as a single Woman" Luna said.
"Can I have a Moment alone to think about everything?" Harry asked looking at both of them.
"Yeah of course you can. Luna and I will just have a little Chat outside and come back inside in like 5 Minutes." Tonks said.
After Dora said those Words she kissed his Cheek and walked out of the Hospital Wing with Luna following her.
Once they were outside the Hospital Wing Luna looked at the Woman next to her and said "You didn´t have to do that in there you know, I just wanted him to know how I feel so it was of my Chest."
"I know that Luna but I saw the Look on his Face and seeing that Look I know he still cares for you as well and the Truth is I knew this could happen at some Point but I never thought it would be the Day that he and I got together." Tonks answered never taking her Eyes away from Luna.
"I understand that and I am sorry if you feel uncomfortable about the Situation, but if Harry wants me to stay then I will stay with him. It´s one Thing to walk away from someone that does not want you." Luna said.
Luna and Tonks talked some more about the Situation and how they feel about it before walking back into the Hospital Wing.
Inside the Hospital Wing they walked up to Harry´s Bed and sat down on the Chairs they used a few Minutes earlier.
"So what is it going to be Harry? Do you want me to leave? Or do you want me to stay here?" Luna asked looking into Harry´s Eyes.
Harry looked between the two Woman before resting his Eyes on Luna "After thinking about it, I would like it if you stayed Luna." Harry responded to her
"Of course I will stay here then." Luna replied then leaned down and kissed his Cheek.
"I think you missed your Spot." Harry said with a small Smile and drew Luna closer to him.
"Maybe I did just that" Luna said and after that she smiled at him and kissed him fully on the Lips this Time. Dora looked at them and couldn´t help but to smile at them.
I love him but they do look cute together she thought to herself. Just as she was about to take a step back to give them some more Privacy Luna pulled out of the Kiss and sat back down on her Chair.
Harry gently took one of Dora´s Hands in his own "Are you sure this is okay for you? I don´t want to hurt you."
"Yes it is okay for me. I just need to get used to it, I thought that we would at least have a Year or two before there would be another Girl in our Lives. But don´t worry I am okay." Dora reassured her Boyfriend.
"I will leave you two alone to sped some Time, I will see you later Harry. I love you" Luna said, kissed his Cheek and then walked towards the Door.
"Luna wait can you promise me something before you walk out?" Harry called after her.
"Yeah of course I can Harry!" Luna whispered looking back into his emerald green Eyes.
"Promise me you won´t tell anyone about this. I think the three of us have some more Things to talk about and to figure out, before we let anyone else know." Harry said.
Luna nodded her Head and smiled at him "I promise Harry." After those Words she turned around and walked out of the Hospital Wing.
Inside the Hospital Wing Harry looked at Dora and asked "Babe are you gonna stay here with me until I can get out of here, or do you have to go back to work?"
"I can stay here for the next two Days, but after that I sadly have to go back to Work. Even tho I really want to stay here and be there for you." The pink haired Auror replied.
"Let´s just enjoy the Time we have then. I really want to spend Time with you as well, but I don´t want to keep you away from work. I don´t want you to get in Trouble." Harry said while he gently took her Hand into his own.
"Don´t worry about me getting in Trouble my Love. You just focus on getting better, so that we can really start to enjoy this new Relationship." Tonks answered.
"I know it´s not much Fun for you to be here Dora, so I could understand if you want to leave." Harry said to his Girlfriend.
"Harry that´s not how I meant it. Like I said my Place is here with you and I will stay here for as long as I can." Tonks said while squeezing her Boyfriends Hand.
Harry smiled at her and made some Space on the Bed so that she could lay down with him again.
Tonks understood the Meaning of his Actions and laid down next to him.
Wrapped in each others Arms the two new Lovers fell asleep thinking of nothing but each other.
