Author Notes; Well my dear readers we are fast approaching the end of this saga, seems so surreal to think that I started this story as nothing more than an experiment for a "What if?" Joriverse way back in 2014 that grew into something more than what I originally thought and all thank to you guys who kept asking for more, XD.

That being said, I'll be writing two more chapters, the 100th one, which I have yet to decide what it will be about and an epilogue which will answer the big question that Tony no doubt always had at the back of his mind, I think you guys can guess what I'm talking about.

So without a further ado, enjoy this next part of Parenthood, which it's something I'm sure most parents had to go through when raising kids... Problems at School, a bit predictable I suppose but I think I came up with a way to make this idea somewhat different and perhaps a bit original for your liking my dear readers.

See you all at the end...

... Of this chapter.

"Principal Franklin." The secretary said over the intercom. "Mrs. and Mrs. West are here to see you."

"Thank you Susan, please let them in." He ordered kindly before looking and the young boy sitting in front of him.

To say Tony was anxious was an understatement, he had never been in trouble in school before, in truth, he had no idea what he did wrong, all he did know was that apparently it was bad enough that his parents had to be called in, he had heard stories from his older sisters and what it was like when they were called to the Principal's office after some crazy stunt they pulled during their time in Elementary School.

... Needless to say, it never ended well for them.

"Am I in trouble?" Tony gulped. "Am I going to detention?"

"It all depends on what you tell me and your parents today, Tony." The Principal said. "Now, I heard from your teachers about a unique business you started during recess and a few of your classmates seem to have confirmed it, however, I would like to hear your side of the story before anything is decided."

"And my parents?" He asked. "Why did you call them?"

"I think they may be very interested in hearing what I learned." Principal Franklin replied. "And hopefully I would get a much clearer picture on your train of thought, Tony."

Before the pre-teen could ask the Principal what he meant by that, the door to his office opened and two women came in.

"I never expected to be here again after the twins graduated." Jade commented. "So much for that hope, guess it was too much to ask to have at least one kid who didn't get in trouble."

"That's asking for the impossible, Jade." Tori replied with an eye roll. "Even I got myself into some shenanigans that got me punished and I was the good kid growing up."

"I can dream now can I, Vega?" The Thespian quipped before turning to face the school Principal. "Well hello Ted, long time no see."

"I suppose it has been." He replied. "Granted, I had hoped that if I met you two again, it wouldn't be in my office to talk about your kids mishaps."

"So... What is this about exactly?" Tori asked as she and Jade took their seats, each at the opposite side of their son, "We never got a straight answer on what Tony did or why he's been called to your office?"

"Please tell me that he didn't accidentally explode the science lab..." The Thespian groaned. "When Danielle did that, We had to pay to replace everything and I'm not in any hurry to go through that again."

"Your son didn't destroy any school property, Jade." He replied. "So you can relax."

"Did he release some frogs into the gym as some kind of protest?" The Latina questioned. "Tawny has been on a saving the animals kick ever since her hamster passed away and it wouldn't surprise me if she somehow pulled the strings by getting Tony involved in anything involving animal safety."

"Trust me Tori, we made sure that your daughter would never get near the school animals after she tried to stop the dissecting of frogs for class all those years ago... There was so much slime to wash away."

The three adults shuddered at that memory.

"So then... What is this about?"

"That's what I would like to know myself." Mr. Franklin said. "Some teachers have inform me that Tony started a very unusual business here in school and I'm sceptical to believe it, so the reason as to why I called for you two come is that maybe you can make sense of what he has to say."

Jade and Tori gazed at each other and then looked at their son with curiosity, he in turn decided that the floor was much more interesting to look at now.

"Antonio Victor West." Tori said while crossing her arms. "Is there anything you want to tell us?"

"I don't even know what I did wrong." He answered quickly. "I just came up with a game."

"What kind of game?" Jade asked seriously. "Nothing that will get anyone hurt... Right?"

"I was just giving away imagination." The boy said honestly. "Like you do, Mom."

This took the former Goth by surprise.

"Say what now?" She asked. "Tony, you do know what I do for a living, right?"

"You write stuff?" He guessed. "And you give that to other people?"

"Well yeah...At least you're on the right track." Jade acknowledged. "Son, I'm a writer, I come up with scripts for TV and movies or in some cases, books that can be sold physically or digitally."

"So you use your imagination and get money for it?"

"For a lack of better word... Yes." She nodded. "Now what is this about you following in my footsteps? How exactly?"

"I would like to know this too." Tori said. "So, Mijo, we're all ears."

"The thing here is that, I seen some kids in the playground who are a bit lonely and other kids just say no when they want to play and I thought that wasn't fair." Tony explained. "And I wanted to help but didn't know how, till I remember that Mom creates monsters and stuff in her tales and I thought... Maybe I could do something like that?"

Tori went from giving her son a questionable stare to giving her wife the death glare, as if silently saying "You better hope this ends well or there will be Hell to pay."

"This does not bode well for me." Jade thought. "In retrospect, maybe telling my kids some of my scary bedtime stories wasn't the best idea."

This is when Principal Franklin got a folder out of his desk drawer, clearing his throat to get the family's attention.

"Now Tony, this is where everything gets a bit... Shall we say unclear." Ted said. "One of your teachers said that you were giving these drawing away at the playground, care to explain them?"

The man gave the folder full of drawings made by the 1st grader to his parents to see, some were innocent looking like a bee with a hula skirt or a purple floating moose while others were a little more... Haunting.

For example, Tori found it extremely eerie that Tony drew a shapeless silhouette with bright yellow eyes and sharp rotting teeth and in another drawing, Jade couldn't help but feel a small measure of pride at her son's imagination for drawing a black cat with six spider legs, pointy imp like ears and a long, scorpion tail, almost as if this foreshadowed that he would inherit her love for horror movies when he was a bit older.

"What are these, Mijo?"

"Oh, those are some of the imaginary friends I made up, Mama." Tony replied innocently. "The Bee, I called Abejita, the purple moose is Minimoose, the shadow guy I named Spooky and the Cat-Spider thing Is Salem."

Well, the adults sure weren't expecting that answer and these were only four of the twenty two drawings the young boy made.

"Is there a reason as to why you made some of them look... So... As if... Like they..." Tori spluttered several times, not knowing how to finish her question.

However, Jade did.

"Some of these drawing are kind of strange, Tony." The Thespian said. "How come?"

"Because other kids wanted to know what they looked like." He answered honestly. "That way they can talk to them a lot easier."

"Mijo, I'm afraid I'm not getting what you're trying to say." Tori said worriedly. "If these are your imaginary friends, why would other kids need to see them?"

"Because I'm giving them away, Mama." Tony replied. "I just thought that if I made these friends up and gave them to other kids, then maybe they wouldn't feel so lonely anymore and would be happier around the playground instead of hiding or being told to go away."

"So what you were doing was simply trying to help your classmates?" Ted asked slowly. "Nothing more?"

"Being without friends bites." Tony said. "And I don't think anyone else likes that feeling either, I just wanted to use my imagination for good and give some friends to other kids who need one."

"Did you ever thought about making more friends yourself?" The Principal suggested. "Instead of creating a bunch of imaginary beings for your classmates, you could try to talk to them and get to know them."

"I don't like having too many people around." Tony said. "It gives me the willies."

Jade and Tori knew this all too well because as it turned out, unlike his parents who were known for being quite social; Tony was an introvert and would much rather have keep to himself or have a small group around to have fun with than a big crowd and like any parent, they were worried that their child would have trouble making friends and would spend their time alone.

It couldn't be further from the truth however, as they soon realised that Tony could be quite talkative with other kids when they had some common interests as that was evident in his friendship with Amy, he just happened to be shy around new people.

Interestingly that never seemed to stop him from trying to be helpful towards others, as that was evident from the creative way he went around trying to spread positivity.

"I hear you were charging them for the drawings." The Principal commented. "Care to explain that?"

"I wasn't asking for money for the imaginary friends." Tony said. "I don't want it, that seems mean, I wanted bugs... But no spiders."

"Bugs?" The adults parroted. "Why?"

"It's my turn to take froggy, the class pet to my house for the weekend." He explained ."And I want him to have plenty of yummy bugs to eat."

"Oh Hell no!" Tori snapped. "I'm not having a slimy reptile in my house! Let alone a bunch of creepy crawlers!"

"VEGA!" Jade admonished. "Language!"

A thought then came to the two women.

"Wait...Tony, if you been asking for bugs for the drawings... Erm... Imaginary friends during recess." The Latina corrected herself. "Then where did you put the bugs for the time being?"

"In my backpack, Mama."

"Ok and where is your backpack?"

"I left it in class, Mom."

Jade and Tori glanced worriedly at each other, silently hoping that nothing bad would happen next.

Unfortunately the universe was not listening to them today, because no sooner did they got an answer out of their son that a scream of sheer terror was heard from the hallway.

"RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!"

A teacher and several students rushed by the Principal's door, not too far behind came an army of many different bugs crawling all over the walls and ceiling.

"Oh come on!" Jade exclaimed exasperatedly as she puts her hand over her eyes, not bothering to turn around, she simply asked "Guess we're paying for an exterminator now are we, Ted?"

"It would prevent your son from being expelled."

"Am I still in trouble?" Tony asked sheepishly.

"For the drawings? No." Tori replied. "For the bug infestation? Very."

"Aww."

I suppose it would be too much to ask you all to suspend your disbelief on how many bugs Tony had in his backpack to accidentally unleashed a bug infestation in school?

Ted Franklin was the Principal in iCarly, for those of you who might not remember, I decided to put him as the Principal in Tony's school because I didn't want to create any one time characters.

Since we're already in October, I thought Tony making some scary drawing and by extension imaginary friends, seemed fitting because the Halloween season has just begun, heh.

Tony making a business out of making and "selling" imaginary friends was inspired by the Cartoon Network show "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends", told you I was thinking of an original concept for "school troubles", truth be told, I considered the idea of Tony opening a secret restaurant on school grounds since he wants to grow up to be a chef but I felt that was too similar to the iCarly episode "iOpen A Restaurant", so instead I thought it would be interesting if Tony followed in the footsteps of his parents by using his creativity like Jade and his empathy like Tori.

So... What did you guys thought of this wacky idea" constructive criticism is appreciated as always.

See you guys when ai come up with an idea for the 100th chapter.
