Naruto the Raijin

A few days later Naruto and Nami had arrived at Orange Town. Nami had managed to steal a map of the Grand line from Buggy before leading the three members of Buggy's crew towards Naruto's location. Naruto quickly took them out before looking at Nami "Did you get the map?"

She nods and they both look up when they hear an explosion above them. Naruto sees Luffy falling before covering Nami since it looked like Luffy was going to land close to her. Naruto looked down at him when the dust cleared "Luffy what the hell were you doing to come falling out of the sky like that?"

Luffy looks at who was speaking after he stood up and dusted himself off before smiling "Hey Naruto, I was trying to get a bird for Zoro and I to eat but it caught me in its beak so I got carried to here before someone shot a cannon ball at it and I fell down here."

Naruto looked at Luffy with a raised eyebrow "Zoro? As in Roronoa Zoro the pirate hunter?"

Luffy nods with a large smile on his face "Yeah he's the first member of my pirate crew. Oh you and you're friend there should join with my crew!"

Naruto sighed "That's not going to happen because pirates took someone special from her when she was 10. I made a promise to her and her sister that I'd stick with them so that I could protect them while making sure that they can reach their dreams. Sorry Luffy but we won't be joining your crew, at least not now."

Luffy sighs "Well that's a shame since I know you're strong so you would be a great member for my crew. I don't really know what your friend can do so I don't know how she would help."

Naruto shrugs "She's the best navigator you're ever going to find. She's actually how we got here as fast as we did since it's only been four days since I last saw you."

Luffy looks at him with wide eyes before smacking his fist into his open palm "Damn, that's a great skill to have on the sea."

Naruto nods "Yeah, don't get me wrong I know basic navigation but it's nowhere as good as her skill in that department."

Nami smirked and put her right hand on her hip "Well of course I'm good at this, I've been studying it since I was eight. Now come on Naruto we have some more pirates to deal with."

Naruto puts a hand on her shoulder "Wait a minute Nami, let's take one of these houses and get something to eat before we deal with them since we haven't eaten for a few hours not to mention we could try to come up with a plan that I can use to lure them all away so you can still their treasure."

Nami nods and the three of them walked into a house to their right before they started to eat what food they could find. Ten minutes later they're all sitting at the table while Nami and Naruto are looking over a map of the town. Naruto smiled and pointed at something "I can get them here and trap them so that I can beat them all. I just want you to stay out of sight until we know for sure that I've got them all away from the ship."

Nami shakes her head "I can do that but I think that you should fight them right in front of the ship since I'm pretty sure Buggy will shoot cannon balls into the town trying to kill you. It would be easier to deal with any attacks and limit the damage the best here."

Naruto thinks about it for a couple of minutes before nodding "That sounds like it would be the smartest move, I just hope I can take down most if not all of his men before they can fire any cannon balls at me."

Nami nods "That sounds like something I'd like you do since I don't want you getting hurt."

Naruto kissed her cheek "Than we'll go with that plan since I don't want you worrying about me to much when you should stay focused on what you're doing."

She smiled and leaned into him while Luffy looked at the two of them before tilting his head to the side "What are you leaning onto him for since you don't look tired? Also why did Naruto kiss your cheek?"

Naruto sighed "Luffy do you know what a boyfriend and girlfriend are?"

Luffy looked thoughtful for a couple of minutes before his eyes flashed in recognition "Yeah, Ace told me what they were when I was younger. He said that's what two people call each other when they like the other as more than friends and want to so some adult things with each other but don't want to be married. Is that what the two of you are?"

Naruto nods "Yeah I have another girlfriend that Nami knows about. Oh you should know that you don't ever get another girlfriend while you have the first one, unless it's the first ones idea."

Luffy shrugs at that "Well I haven't ever heard someone having more than one girlfriend but as long as they're happy than it really shouldn't matter."

Naruto smiles as they walked out of the house before heading towards where Nami said Buggy and walking. Nami leaned over "Why don't I try to trick Buggy into believing that I'm going to join his crew so that I could get him and his crew to let down their guards so that I could get their treasure?"

Naruto raised his eyebrow "What did you have in mind?"

She smiled "I was thinking about using Luffy as bait by making it seem like I got tired of dealing with him as my boss before saying that I'm going to join his crew while handing him over to Buggy."

Naruto thought about it for a minute "Sure but I'm staying close by in the shadows until the two of you either get out of there or until I'm needed because things have gone sideways."

Nami nods and Naruto explains the plan to Luffy before he agreed to be used as bait. Ten minutes later Nami and a tied up Luffy where standing in front of Buggy's ship waiting for Buggy telling her what he decided after she told him the cover story for their plan. A minute later Nami and Luffy were on Buggy's ship with Nami sitting on a chair while Luffy was left tied up and placed into a cage while the Buggy pirates had a party. Naruto watched how everything went in while staying in the shadows. Five minutes later Buggy had a few of his men bring out the cannon while another one brought out a red cannon ball with the crew's jolly roger painted on it. Naruto sighed because he knew this was going to end up being something bad. The men moving the cannon placed it in front of the cage with Luffy inside with the cannon pointing towards Luffy. Naruto's eyes went wide when he realized what Buggy was doing and he started moving closer so he could jump in when it was time for him to make a move. Not even a minute later Buggy handed Nami a box of matches "Fire the buggy ball at your former boss and prove you belong on my crew Nami!"

Nami took the box with shaking hands before walking up to the cannon and freezing since she didn't know where Naruto was located. She started to lightly tremble when she saw a quick bit of movement out of the corner of her eye. She turned her head and saw that it was Naruto still hiding in the shadows giving her a smile. She returned it to him and she stopped trembling and turned to Buggy before throwing the box at him "I refuse to kill him for you, ya damn pirate!"

Buggy started to get mad and Naruto stepped out of the shadows "Hello Buggy, I'm here for the bounty on your head. Now if you don't mind getting off your ass and coming to fight me that would be great since I don't want to deal with all of your men since I'm really only here to take you down."

Buggy growls and gets up before Zoro stepped in front of Luffy and stopped next to the cannon "Luffy how do you always manage to get yourself into these kinds of situations?"

Naruto sighed before making sure that most of Buggy's crew was knocked out by shooting them with bullets of lightning from his finger tips he did make sure that the lightning bullets were only strong enough to knock the crew out since he didn't want to risk hitting Nami or Zoro and kill them. The only ones on the crew that were still awake were Buggy himself, a man covered in hair that looks like some kind of animal fur in the style of a bear, the last one was a man with black hair that covered one side of his face while wearing a long sleeveless coat with no shirt and a scarf that covered the bottom part of his face from the mouth down. They're Mohji and Cabaji respectively. Naruto looked at the three of them and blinded them with a bright flash from a lightning bolt he used to hit the ground between them. When they got their vision back they noticed that Naruto, Zoro, Nami and the cage with Luffy were gone. Ten minutes later Naruto put the cage down before looking at Zoro "You should go lay down to get back the energy you used chasing Luffy in the boat you two had. I'll be sure to wake you if you're skills are needed again."

Zoro nods and walks into a house to lay down while Luffy was trying to get a dog off of him since it bit his face. A couple of minutes later Luffy was trying to get the dog to spit out the key Nami dropped for him to get out of the cage. The dog had eaten it so Luffy was trying to get it back. Naruto heard someone walking towards them and turned to where the sound was coming from before seeing an elderly man wearing wooden armor "You young ones leave Chouchou alone!"

Naruto sighed "Sorry about him sir but the dog ate a key that was meant to get him out of the cage. The one in the cage is Luffy, the beautiful girl with orange hair is my girlfriend Nami, there's a guy in one of the houses sleeping and his name is Zoro, I'm Naruto. Nami and I are just here to steal the treasure from Buggy and I'm going to turn him in to the marines for his bounty. I promise that we'll make sure that we leave with as little damage as possible."

The man looked at Naruto with wide eyes before smiling "Sure just be careful and thank you for dealing with the pirates here that have been bothering this town, oh and I'm Mayor Boodle."

Naruto nods "Don't worry about it Mayor, I'll make sure to leave whatever money I think the town will need out of my own pocket so you and the other people of this town can repair any damage caused."

Boodle nods and smiles "Thank you for at least being willing to pay for any damages caused in the fight you're going to have with Buggy and his crew."

Naruto nods and looks over his shoulder when he heard thundering footsteps. He saw Mohji riding a large lion coming towards them. He then turned to Nami "You should get out of the way so that you don't get hurt from the fight that's coming. I'm going to let Luffy fight while keeping an eye on everything."

Nami nods and runs off to hide with Boodle while Naruto walked up and melted several bars on the cage so Luffy could get out by covering his hands in lightning. Naruto then stepped back and let Luffy fight Mohji and Richie of the Buggy pirates while he made sure no one got in the middle of the fight. Naruto sighed when Luffy gets sent into a building by the lion. Richie than started to walk towards Naruto only to stop when he saw a pet store since he was hungry and could smell the food inside. Mohji tried to get Richie to kill Naruto before seeing that Richie was looking at the pet store and sighed "Fine, make it quick Richie."

Richie starts walking towards the store only for Chouchou standing in front of him and growling. The lion went to hit Chouchou with his right paw only for Naruto to stop him by grabbing it "You won't take a single step closer to the store. It's Chouchou's treasure and I won't allow a damn pirate take it from him. Now this is the only chance you're going to get from me, the both of you need to run away or I'll make you both wish you never meant me."

Naruto didn't even bother looking at either of his opponents as he walked a few feet away from them since he didn't want to risk the store or Chouchou getting involved in the fight; so he didn't see the look of rage pass over Mohji's face "Richie! Kill him!"

Mohji jumped off Richie and he charged at Naruto. Naruto stood there and raised his hand before stopping Richie's left paw. He grabbed it and flipped the lion over his shoulder before smashing him on the ground as hard as he could using Richie to make a creator before sending enough lightning to knock him out but not kill him. Naruto then looked at Mohji and teleported right in front of him before punching him hard enough to break his nose and jaw while slamming his head into the ground. Nami walked up with Luffy and smiled at Naruto "You did a good job Naruto, now Chouchou still has his treasure and Mohji's been taken out of the way."

Naruto nods and smiles back at her before Luffy pouted "I was gonna fight that lion and the weird guy."

Naruto rolled his eyes "Luffy you still have Buggy to fight so just shut up and go get Zoro."

Luffy smiles and runs off to get his first mate while Naruto looked at Boodle "Don't even think about getting into this fight Mayor, you're not ready to fight someone like Buggy. You need to get back to your towns people and let them know what's going on before they start to worry and come looking for you."

Boodle gave Naruto a hard look for a couple of minutes before sighing and nodding his head "You're right, I'm just worried that the other boy, Luffy I think his name was, won't be able to handle Buggy."

Naruto nods with a smile "Than you have nothing to worry about because if by some chance Buggy does beat Luffy I can take him down."

The Mayor nods and walks away while waving over his shoulder. Naruto smiled at Nami and put his cowboy hat on her head "Hold on to that for me since I have a feeling that this fight is going to be a more serious one and I don't want it getting damaged."

Nami's eyes widen since Naruto only takes his hat off when he's going into a fight where he might have to just some of his more powerful attacks meant for just a few people. She looks at him while holding onto his hat as she remembers what happened the only time someone managed to piss Naruto off.

Mini Flash Back

Naruto was standing in a clearing with three pirate facing him before looking at the captain "All you three have to do is walk away since I don't want you're small bounties however if you keep wanting to fight me than I'll have to take you down."

The captain growls "I'm going to take you down and remove that head of yours before staining that stupid hat of yours with your blood."

Naruto growled "If you touch my hat I'll make sure to skin you alive before putting you in a large tube of lemon juice all the way up to your neck bastard!"

This was said in such a cold rage filled tone that the three pirates took a few steps back. Naruto narrowed his eyes before raising his left hand in the air as storm clouds quickly started to form before he thrust his arm down "Raijin's Wrath!"

Nami watched with wide eyes as a large pillar of lightning shot out of the clouds and hit all three pirates at once. When the lightning went away Nami and Naruto saw that there weren't even ashes where the pirates were standing before the attack. Naruto walked over to Nami and put his large coat over her shoulders and pulled her into his arms while making sure that she didn't see where the pirates were as he led her back to his their ship.

Mini Flash Back End

Nami smiled at him "Kick their asses' babe!"

Naruto kissed her forehead and smiled back "As you wish babygirl."

With that Naruto walked over to Luffy and Zoro before they started to walk towards where Buggy and his crew where located. Ten minutes later the three of them were standing right in front of Buggys' ship while Nami was hiding behind a building waiting for a chance to steal the treasure from Buggys' ship. Naruto smirked "Luffy can I have the honor of getting Buggy's attention?"

Luffy chucked and nods "Go for it Naruto!"

Naruto took a deep breath before cupping his hands around his mouth "HEY BIG NOSE! GET YOUR ASS OUT HERE SO WE CAN KICK IT!"

Luffy and Zoro burst out laughing while Nami giggled into her hand at what Naruto just did. A clearly pissed off Buggy walked up to the edge "Who the hell said that I have a big nose?!"

Naruto raised his hand showing that he was flipping Buggy off with a smirk "I did you damn clown!"

Buggy growled before looking at his crew "Someone bring out the cannon and load a buggy ball to kill these bastards!"

Two of his men roll the cannon onto the deck and aimed it directly at the three on the ground before someone else brought out a dark red cannon ball with the pirates Jolly Roger painted on it. The man put the ball in the cannon before lighting the fuse while Buggy starts laughing insanely. The cannon fires and the ball came directly at Naruto who simply covered his right hand in lightning before catching the ball. This caused everyone besides Nami to look at Naruto with wide eyes while Naruto smirked "I think you dropped this Buggy, here take it back!"

Naruto threw the ball and Buggy and his crew who were all freaking out and looking for a place to hide, the screams of fear from the crew however were drowned out by the explosion from the buggy ball. The explosion covered the whole ship in a thick cloud of smoke blocking everything from the view of those that weren't on the ship. When the smoke cleared they saw that most of the ship had been destroyed before some of the ruble starts moving and they looked at the noise only to see two people standing up. They was it was someone holding two other people and someone holding another member of the crew. The one holding the two people put them down showing that it was Buggy. Then the third crew member used as a shield was put down and they saw it was Cabaji. Naruto scoffed "They two of you are truly scum bags since you used your own crewmates as shields to keep yourselves from getting hurt."

Buggy and Cabaji glared at Naruto before Cabaji looked at Buggy "Captain please allow me to fight these weaklings for what they've done to our crew and for the disrespect they've shown you."

Buggy glanced back at the other man "Fine but make it a good show Cabaji."

The man smirks and gets on a unicycle before pulling out a sword and heading towards Naruto as fast as possible. Naruto saw that Zoro was going to block out of the corner of his eye and waved for Zoro to wait. Zoro raised an eyebrow but nods and watches as the sword goes right through Naruto while Cabaji looked on with wide eye as Naruto just turned to lightning before vanishing in a bolt of lightning and appearing behind Zoro "He's all yours Zoro. Show him what a real swordsman can do."

Zoro smirked and started to fight Cabaji with all three of his swords since he wasn't playing around and he was going to show this fake what a real swordsman was capable of. It only took Zoro five minutes to win and he did so with no injuries while Cabaji was covered in cut and passed out in a grow pool of his own blood. Naruto looked at Buggy "Your fight is with the boy in the straw hat. Luffy let me hold onto your hat so it doesn't get in the way."

Luffy shook his head "Thanks for the offer Naruto but this is my treasure and I don't trust you enough to let you have it when I can't keep an eye on you."

Naruto sighed and nods "Fine but I'm going to make sure that I watch this fight because I want to see how a member of the D family fights with the abilities of rubber."

Luffy smirked and charged at Buggy "I'm going to kick your ass Big Nose!"

Naruto chuckled before looking over his shoulder "Nami you should go get the treasure while Buggy's distracted and if he does notice you before Luffy sends him flying I'll make sure that he doesn't get more than five feet from you."

Nami nods and disappears down an ally before sneaking into Buggy's ship while Luffy was fighting. Naruto turned his attention back to the fight and winced when he saw that Buggy was getting angry while Luffy was bringing up someone named Shanks. Naruto raised an eyebrow 'Luffy knows one of the four emperors and he doesn't even seem to realize that. Also if rumors are to be believed than the straw hat on Luffy's head once belonged to Gol D. Roger the first king of the pirates. I have a feeling that Luffy knows or is related to a few very powerful people.'

Naruto chuckled when he watched Luffy just mess around while also pissing Buggy off more. He sighed when he saw that Buggy had managed to damage Luffy's straw hat. Naruto looked at Zoro "Buggy's going to wish his mother had swallowed him the night he was conceived."

Zoro laughed "I know this is going to be funny."

Naruto noticed that Nami had made it back to the ally behind him with a rather large bag of treasure. Naruto smiled and walked up to her before whispering in her ear "Watch what happens when someone makes Luffy mad. I found out where that straw hat came from and if he learned anything from that pirate than Bell-mere would be happy if you were his friend."

Naruto then turned one bag into two and disappeared in a bolt of lightning before putting the treasure on his ship 'I can't wait until I have enough money to get the small boat I want made for me that only works with my Devil Fruit powering it, this ship is to damn slow for my tastes.'

Naruto appeared back in his spot just in time to see Luffy sending a small Buggy flying before looking at Nami and bursting out in roaring laughter when he saw that she had tied most of Buggy's body up and made sure that he couldn't go back to full size. Naruto walked up to Nami and pulled her into a hug "Well what did you think about Luffy's fight after he got mad?"

Nami returned the hug and smiled up and Naruto "I think he could help you with the problem back home if something goes wrong. Just be sure that you keep you promise to me if it comes to that."

Naruto put his hat back on and kissed her head "I will always keep my promise to you babygirl."

Naruto looked over at Luffy "I can fix your hat for you Luffy. I just want to know one thing?"

Luffy smiled at Naruto "Thanks Naruto and sure just ask me."

Naruto sighed "Did you learn anything about being a pirate from 'Red Hair' Shanks?"

Luffy nods with his large grin "Yeah he taught me that a real pirate is someone that protects their friends and family with everything they have. He also taught me that a pirate Captain's crew is the Captain's family."

Naruto nods before looking back at Nami "Well what do you say? Should we join him?"

Nami buried her face in her boyfriend's chest for a few minutes before looking at Luffy "We'll join you but Naruto has something to tell you about what's been going on back at my home. However we're not going back to deal with that until I feel like we have enough strong fighters to handle it, got it?"

Luffy nods "I understand and agree to that Nami. We'll go when you believe we're ready to handle it."

Naruto told the two pirates about what was going on at Nami's home Island before saying that they needed one more strong fighter before they could go deal with all of them. Naruto looked Luffy in the eyes "I made a promise to Nami that I would deal with the bastard that killed her mom. That means Arlong is mine, you're more than welcome to fight anyone of his three lieutenants but the boss is mine and that's not up for debate Captain."

Luffy frowned but nods anyway "Fine but I don't like you making decisions on who gets who to fight so from now on you can't do that Captain's orders."

Naruto smirked "I wouldn't have done that this time if I hadn't made that promise to Nami. I'm just keeping my promise to her other than that I don't want to pick who fights who in the future. It won't happen again Captain."

Luffy nods before turning towards the dock "Well we should get moving since I need to get the sniper of the crew. Nami I need you to sit a course for Syrup Islands as that's where the person I'm hoping will join is at."

With that the pirate crew of four leaves Orange Town after Naruto also makes sure to put Buggy's crew on what's left of their ship and raising the anchor before getting the ship to start drifting in the same direction Luffy sent Buggy. Naruto looked up to the sky 'Mom, Bell-mere please watch over Nojiko while I'm out at sea with Nami and the others. I promise that after Arlong's been dealt with I'll get Nojiko to leave with us since I know Nami is going to stick with this crew. They're strong people just like the two of you however the strongest one here is Nami and she'll be joined by others as time goes on. I'll make sure that Nami and Nojiko are safe while they live their lives and reach their dreams.'
