Naruto the Raijin

It took the Straw Hats three days to sail to Syrup Village and Luffy was starting to get on Narutos' and Namis' nerves. Naruto was really close to smacking his own head against the wall outside the treasure room on his ship since that was the room closest to the deck. The reason for this was because Luffy had tried eating all of their food in the middle of the night and Naruto had to stay up to make sure that he failed every time. Naruto was in a bad mood due to lack of sleep while Nami was in a bad mood because Luffy was causing her alone time with her boyfriend at night. Don't get her wrong as her and Naruto weren't doing anything more than making out and cuddling in their underwear but she still hasn't gotten to do that for the last two nights because of Luffy and she was really starting to think that she should have Naruto teach him some manners. She sighed and leaned into Naruto when she felt his arms around her waist and smiled when he kissed her cheek before resting his head on her left shoulder. She glanced at her boyfriend from the corner of her eyes "What's got you in here with me since I don't trust Luffy not to eat our food while he thinks we're not looking."

Naruto chuckled "He won't be getting into our food since I made it so only you or I can get in. I made it that only the key in front of you can open the lock on the fridge and without it he's going to have to break through six feet of steel. That means if he tries we'll definitely hear him. That means you have me all to yourself for the rest of the day as long as you don't mind sitting here since I saw Syrup Village on the horizon."

Nami snuggled into him "I guess that means that you're going to sleep until we get there?"

Naruto shook his head "Not going to happen unless you want to take a nap until we get there."

Nami smiled "A nap with my boyfriend sounds lovely."

Naruto nods and lays on the hammock he had hanging in Namis' room while his girl friend was resting on his chest. He kissed her head before closing his eyes "Taking a nap for a few hours will really help me with my lack of energy."

With this both Naruto and Nami fell asleep and stayed that way until they got to Syrup Village. Three hours later Naruto woke up to someone banging on the door. He looked and saw that Nami was walking into the bathroom he had connected to her room before he got up and answered the door. He saw that it was Zoro knocking on the door "I take it we're here?"

Zoro nods and Naruto sighed "Alright we'll be out soon, Nami's in the bathroom."

Zoro nods and walked away while Naruto put some shoes on. Five minutes later the four of them were standing on a small sandy shore. Naruto was standing next to Nami while Zoro looked around and Luffy was stretching. Naruto saw a glint of light reflect off something in the bushes "Careful you three, we've got company watching us."

The other three look to where Naruto pointed before a young man about Luffy's age steps out. This man has bushy black hair that reaches his shoulders, tan skin, a long nose, regular goggles on, an olive green bandana on his head, standing at 5'8½. This was Usopp and he was the sniper Luffy was looking for. Usopp looked down at them "I am Captain Usopp and my army of 80,000 men will rip you apart if you don't leave now pirates! This Island is under my protection!"

Naruto snorted "You only like three little kids up there with you dumbass."

The three kids with their hair styled to look like the foods they were named after stood up from the bushes they were hiding in and ran away screaming. Naruto looked over at Luffy "I take it from your expression that this is the person you wanted to talk to when we got here?"

Luffy nods before they both looked back to Usopp only to see that he had his sling shot out and drawn back ready to fire. Naruto sighed and shook his head while Luffy lowered his hat enough that it was shadowing his eyes before looking back up at Usopp "Now that you've drawn your pistol are you willing to use it?"

Usopp looked at Luffy with a slight amount of fear on his face "What?"

Luffy continued to look at Usopp without blinking while Zoro smirked and gently opened his most prized sword while looking at Usopp himself "Make no mistake we're real pirates."

Luffy got Usopps' attention again "I'm saying that pistols aren't for threats they're for action. Are you willing to put your life on the line to use it?"

Usopp gulped before dropping the lead marble and sinking to his knees "I guess real pirates have more weight to their words."

This caused Luffy and Zoro to burst out laughing while Naruto just smirked. Luffy got his laughter under control and looked back up at Usopp "I stole those words from a pirate I know."

Usopp looked at Luffy in confusion "You stole them?"

Luffy nods "Yeah from Shanks. He used the same words on a group of bandits when I was a kid and he stopped at my home while he was in the East Blue. I also know your dad, Yasopp. You are Usopp right?"

Usopp leans forward with a smile on his face before falling down the cliff and landing on his face before getting up and looking at Luffy in awe "Did you really know my dad?"

Luffy nods "Sure did he was a part of Shanks's crew when they were at my home Island. He would always tell me about you since he didn't get to come back like he promised so when I told him I was going to build my own pirate crew he asked me to at least come here and check up on you before I left for the Grand Line. I however want to ask you to join my crew as my sniper. What do you saw?"

Usopp smiled before frowning "I'd love to but I can't leave this Island since I'm the only one that makes sure it's exciting around here. Not to mention that I'm needed by a very sick girl that lost her parents about a year ago."

Naruto perked up at the last part of Usopps' reason "I would like you to take me to this sick girl so I can find out if she can be helped Usopp. Oh and before I forget my name's Naruto D Namikaze."

Usopp looks at Naruto "It's a pleasure to meet you but I can't take you to her since in order for you to get close enough to help her you'll need to get through the front gate and I'm not really allowed on the property."

Naruto nods "Fine just tell me where her house is and I'll see if I can help her or not. I'm not really a doctor but I do know a lot about it so that I can at least get someone the help they need and keep them alive until I do."

Usopp nods "She lives in the big Mansion on the hill."

Naruto nods and goes back into his ship before coming back out with a small bag in his right hand that has a white cross on it. He looked at Nami "I'm going to see if I can help the young lady, where do you want me to meet up with you since I don't think you want to come with me."

Nami smiled at him "That's nice but I'm going with you since I don't really want to be around Luffy right now."

Naruto nods and offers her his right arm after moving his medical bag into his left hand "Shall we go than babygirl?"

Nami takes his arm and nods "Yes, I would like to see how you deal with someone that you haven't known for years."

Usopp watched the two leave before looking back at Luffy "Are those two dating or something?"

Luffy nods "Yeah, Naruto has known Nami for eight years now and he's dating her and one other girl that Nami knows about. I don't really understand it but as far as I can tell the three of them are happy. I heard Naruto call and talk to the other girl over a transponder snail a couple of times since he and Nami joined my crew three days ago."

Usopp nods before he and Luffy started to talk about Yasopp. Naruto and Nami were almost at the front gate of the mansion where they could see two guards standing there. They walked up to the guards and Naruto smiled at them "I would like a chance to check on the lady of the house because I heard that she was ill. I'm not a doctor but I do know enough to at least call someone that can help her but if I'm going to do that I would need to see what's wrong with her, if the two of you could please get me someone that will allow me to talk to me."

One of the guards walked into the front gate while the other kept an eye on Naruto and Nami. Naruto watched as the guard that walked inside came walking back with a man that had sheep like hair and two horns that look like that of a mountain sheep. Naruto smiled "I take it that you're the person that I need to talk to in order to see if I can check on the lady of the manor?"

The man nods "Yes, my name is Marry and I'm the head butler of the manor. I would like to know the name of the doctor you could get to come help Lady Kaya."

Naruto nods "That would be my godmother Tsunade Senju, the greatest medic in the world."

Marry gasped and looked at Naruto with wide eyes before shaking his head and smiling "Please come in and see if you can help the lady of the manor."

Naruto nods as he and Nami followed Marry to Kayas' room. Naruto gave her a gentle and warm smile "Lady Kaya, my name is Naruto D. Namikaze and I'm here to see if I can help you. However if I couldn't than I would be able to call my godmother and have her come help you, though I don't think she'll be needed."

Kaya looks at Naruto and shyly smiles before nodding gently "Please help me if it's possible."

Naruto slowly walked to her and gently had her lay back before going through her check up. Ten minutes later he looked at her "I'm glad to inform you that you're not as ill as the people of the town thought. In fact you're perfectly healthy the only problem I can find is that you're going through a case of major depression. The best medication for that is to find someone that makes you smile and laugh. It will take time but at some point this person will help you get better, also you need to get out of the mansion from time to time. When you start getting out I would stay in the yard and don't get yourself overwhelmed. It would also be good for you to only walk around for five minutes at a time before resting for about twenty minutes before getting up again."

Kaya nods "Well Usopp makes me laugh and smile. I would like to be able to see him when he comes back without someone chasing him away if he gets caught."

Naruto looked at the head butler "Can you bring me the person that keeps an eye on who comes and goes for Lady Kaya please?"

Marry nods and walks out of the room. Five minutes later Marry walks back before shaking his head "It would appear as though Klahadore isn't here at the moment. May I take a message for when he returns?"

Naruto nods and pulls out a piece of paper before writing down the instructions he had for the man. He then handed it to Marry "That contains everything he'll need to do in order to make sure that Lady Kaya gets better. If he wants to talk to me about than I'll be staying here for a few days, he can find me at the local hotel."

Marry takes the paper and nods with a smile as he reads over it before looking at Naruto "Thank you very much for coming to help Lady Kaya with her illness."

Naruto shook his head "You should thank Usopp the next time you see him since he's the one that sent me here after I told him that I could help."

Kaya smiled and waved as Marry walked Naruto and Nami back to the front door so they could leave. It only took them ten minutes to meet up with the other two members of the crew. Naruto looked at Usopp "I did want I could and if this Klahadore listens to the instructions I left than you should be allowed one hour with her to tell your lies."

Usopp sighs "Klahadore will never listen to you but thanks for trying anyways. Now let's eat lunch so I can sneak in there and tell Kaya some more of my stories."

Naruto looked at Nami before turning back to Usopp "Fine but we're going with you because Marry was willing to listen to me but I didn't get to meet Klahadore so I hope to be able to talk with him when we get there."

Usopp nods and they all go into the restaurant that Usopp said had good food for lunch. An hour later the eight of them were heading to Kayas' mansion. At some point during lunch the three kids that were with Usopp when Luffy and the others came ashore were joined them. They walked to the front gate and Naruto smiled at the guards "Hi, Usopp is here for his one hour of telling stories to Lady Kaya and we're accompanying him since I wish to speak with Klahadore should he return before the hour is up."

The guards smiled back at Naruto before seeing the three swords on Zoro's hip "We would allow you all to enter however weapons aren't allowed. The one with three swords will have to hand them over until you all leave."

Naruto shakes his head before looking up into the sky. Everyone besides Nami looked into the sky in confusion. All of their eyes widened when they saw a thunder cloud come down and stop next to Naruto hovering two feet off the ground "Zoro you can put your swords in there and they'll be safe until we leave. I'll give them back to you then."

Zoro nods and puts his swords on the cloud and looked shocked when they sank into the cloud before the cloud rose back into the sky and disappears from their sight. Naruto smiled "Well let's go inside and see Lady Kaya alright?"

Everyone nods and they follow Usopp to the tree he always uses to tell his stories to Kaya while waiting to see what happens with Klahadore. Ten minutes into Usopps' story a man wearing a suit walked up to them "I would like to know which one of you is Naruto D Namikaze."

Naruto looked at the man with a raised eyebrow while narrowing his eyes 'This man looks familiar but it can't be because Kuro was killed by the Marines three years ago. While I suppose he could've faked his death with a look alike so I'll just keep an eye on him and see if he does something that only Kuro would do.' Naruto stepped forward "That's me, how can I help you?"

The man nods towards Naruto "My name is Klahadore and I was hoping to talk to you about the instructions for Lady Kaya to help her with her illness."

Naruto smiled "Sure would you like to talk about this in private or do so out here right now?"

The man fixed his glasses with the base of his palm "We can talk about it out here and get it over with."

Naruto slightly tensed but the only one to notice was Nami since she was leaning on his back while he stood between her and Klahadore so she knew something wasn't right. Naruto kept his face with a pleasant expression on his face while inwardly frowning 'That proves what I was thinking is right, this guy is Kuro and he faked his own death. I'll have to deal with him if he's not here just because he couldn't deal with the life of a pirate.'

Naruto nods "That works for me since I would like to know if you would allow Lady Kaya to listen to Usopps' stories for one hour?"

Klahadore looked at Naruto with an impassive face "No, I don't want her seeing that man as he's a liar. Her parents instructed me to keep her safe with every fiber of my being and I think that his crazy stories may be too much for her in her condition."

Naruto sighed before nodding "I understand your reasoning but I do know that her condition won't get any worse while listening to Usopps' stories. It will however get better since the condition is actually her dealing with her parents death from a year ago. She's in a state of major depression and his stories are pulling her out of it. Combine that with the time outside I wrote down for you and she should start making a full recovery."

Klahadore looked like he was about to say something before shaking his head and looking up at Usopp who was still in the tree where he could talk to Kaya "I don't want the son of a liar anywhere near the Lady of the manor. I would have to ask him to leave since he's father is nothing more than a no good filthy pirate and there's no telling what he's here for."

Naruto glared at Klahadore "You should watch your mouth butler. You don't know who you're insulting and that could get you killed one day. I've meant Usopps' dad once and trust me when I say that you couldn't be farther from the truth about the man. You should also know that he's a member of the 'Red Hair' Pirates and sails on the same ship as Shanks who's one of the Four Emperors fool. I owe Shanks a rather large debut since he sent me some training methods that allowed me to learn how to control my Devil Fruit powers."

With that Klahadore stepped back a few feet away from Naruto "I didn't know that he's father is the member of one of the Emperors crew but I don't think the debut you owe Shanks is something that you're willing to kill for the first time."

Naruto smirked "Idiot you should have honestly listened to my name. I'll reintroduce myself I'm Naruto D Namikaze the Raijin and I'm a former bounty hunter that's spared with a few members of the 7 war lords as while as a couple of Shanks' crew when I ran into them without my girlfriend."

Klahadore looked at Naruto with wide eye while all the color drained from his face "Wait you're THAT Naruto?!"

Naruto nods "Sure am and I've killed some really messed up people before so killing you won't bother me. However I wasn't going to kill you at all, I was actually planning on breaking an arm or leg for your words. Sadly Shanks doesn't like when someone harms another simply because of some words."

Naruto then walked up to Klahadore and whispered in his ear "I know who you really are Kuro and if you step out of like my Captain and I will deal with you while Zoro will help us deal with whatever back-up you bring."

Naruto waved Nami to come over to him "Captain, Nami and I are going to take a walk around the Island while looking for a place to stay while we're here waiting for Usopp to make his decision on if he's going to join the crew or not."

With that Naruto and Nami walked away while Luffy and Zoro left a few minutes later with Usopp.
