Angel: Okay, to the person who is asking for Sophia to be turned back into a human, you're the only one who wants that to happen, because no one else has commented about this. That claim is BS, and I am the writer, not the guests. Let me write the story how I want it to be, and let me point out something else: I already had to deal with this just recently on another story! And I am not going to go through this shit again.

If you want to change anything when the story is not even over, write this how you want it. It's not like this is the only piece of Sonic media I've done where Sophia was a human before. Sonic X has her revealed to be a human experiment and not a hedgehog at any point. So if you want a human Sophia in the whole story, just go read Sophia X. So NO, I will not cure her, saying that right now, I do not care. We have 3 chapters left, I've finished the movie at this point long before this whole 'Cure Sophia thing' even happened. What exactly are you agreeing to, no one else has mentioned this at all.

I am not dealing with this for the THIRD time, twice this year now in the same week even because the first time this year happened literally on Sunday! And seriously, how does that happen? Stop it. Stop requesting me to change stories in your own image, I'm getting really sick of this now. And also agitated. Like, unbelievably agitated.

Sonic drives Rachel's car through the street, and...she would not be happy with the way it looks now. He's driving very dangerously in the streets.

"Coming through! Whoa, whoa, whoa!" He drives past someone that he was about to bump into. "Now this is my turn, and I go around you. Sorry! And..." He crashes the car into the curb. "Perfect park."

"What are you, crazy?!" Someone calls out as they step out of the car.

"Is there anything you didn't hit?" Tom wonders to the hedgehog.

"Why did we let the alien drive?" Maddie asks as Sophia steps out...and her clothes look shrunken down. She also has grown pink quills in her hair, which is getting harder and harder to hide behind her locks.

"Hey, I got us here," He brags as Sophia looks at herself. "And please, five stars."

"Yeah, next time, leave the driving to me," Sophia dusts herself and Tom does a double take upon seeing her.

"Um...Soph..." He starts off nervously.

Sophia holds out her arms as her sleeves go over her hands and she sighs in disbelief. "I know, my clothes look too big on me. I don't know what it is, I'm not on a diet."

"But...but your hair..." Maddie gestures to her head. Sophia turns to look at her reflection in the car and she yelps, covering her head with her hands.

"What is going on? What's happening to me?!"

"Here," Tom holds out a hat to her and she quickly puts it on to hide her head. Sonic rubs his chin curiously.

"You kinda...look like me a little..." He murmurs to himself in thought.

"Oh, how did this happen?" Sophia sighs wearily, tying a knot at the bottom of her shirt so that it wasn't so loose on her. Sonic speeds over to them and they look up at the building.

"So, this is it?"

"That's it," Tom gestures to the Transamerica building towering over them. "That's your pyramid!"

"Wow..." Sonic murmurs in awe. "Look at that thing!"

"What happens now?" Maddie asks and the hedgehog speeds off from his spot. "Oh. He's...gone."

"Yep," Tom nods in acknowledgement.

"He does that a lot, it's kind of his thing," Sophia answers and rubs her temple. "Ugh. I just hope that...whatever this is, isn't permanent."

Sonic comes back to the trio. "No good. You need a special key to get to the roof."

"What now?" Maddie wonders as Sophia scratches her hand uncomfortably.

"Time for me to abuse the power entrusted to me," Tom answers, earning weird looks from his family.

They walk inside the building, Sonic hiding in a bag so that he's not seen by anyone. Sophia has to hold onto her mom's hand as she's now half her mother's height, and it was not showing any signs of stopping. Thankfully she's not shrinking faster by the minute... She touches her face and then gasps as she feels a nose forming, covering it up with her free hand. They make it to the desk.

"We got a jumper on the roof. Gotta get up there fast," Tom explains to the receptionist, flashing his badge.

"...You came all the way from Montana..." She states slowly, finding it odd that a Montana cop is in California...

"Yeah. That's how serious it is," He states and she glances at the other two. There's a long pause as they say nothing and she finally relents.

"Okay," She gives him the key to the roof and he takes it while looking at her dramatically.

"You just saved a life."

They run towards the elevator and Sophia looks up at Tom. "Saved a life? Really?"

"Technically, it's true," He grins at her, blinking in shock. "Soph!"

"What?" She looks down at herself and almost screams upon seeing that she's now somehow Sonic's height, her pants now too big on her. She quickly pulls them up and grips them tight so that they don't fall off of her, panting in fear. Her parents look down at her in shock. "How is this happening?!"

"What?" Sonic asks cluelessly, wanting to peek out, but Tom stops him.

"It's okay. We'll...figure it out," Maddie laughs nervously, turning to her husband, mouthing 'What do we do?'

He shrugs cluelessly at her, just as confused about all this as she is. She presses the button and two people join them. Sophia hides between her parents in embarrassment as they wait for the elevator door.

"How much longer? I can't breathe in here!" Sonic calls out and they freeze. The business woman looks towards the bag. "Hello? Anybody there?"

"Shh!" Sophia shushes him.

"Do you have your child in that bag?" The woman asks Tom.

"No. I mean, yes, it's a child, but it's not mine."

Sophia facepalms at how that sounded, her hand having a glove over it. She then hides it in her shirt, biting her lip.

"It's not your child?" The business man questions slowly.

"Relax. I'm a cop, okay? Plus, he likes it in there, don't you, buddy?" Tom shakes the bag a little.

"Why would I like it in here? This is worse than the dog cage you had me in earlier!"

Sophia sighs, hanging her head at the situation.

"Such a kidder."

Maddie laughs along with him and pulls up the zipper. "Okay."

"No, I'm scared of the dark!" Sonic protests at this, the two people slowly moving away. "Is anybody there?"

They make it onto the roof, and Sophia seems to be getting worse as her face starts to change. Her nose is now full on black and her cheeks start to become a peach color. Tom opens up the bag and Sonic coughs, gagging as underwear is on his head. Sophia giggles at him as he groans. "What were you keeping in this bag? A jar of pickled farts?!"

"Alright, alright. What are we looking for?"

Sonic turns around and speeds to his bag of rings, picking it up. He then goes back to the others, holding up a ring. "This."

"Okay..." Maddie glances down at Sophia and screams, stepping back a bit. Tom looks at her and yelps, eyes widening. Sonic screams too and then she screams too. This goes on for about 15 seconds before Sophia finally decides to ask.

"What?! What is it?"

"Sophia...you're..." Maddie starts off and pulls out her cell phone, turning on the camera. She takes it and looks at herself, screaming as she steps backwards, dropping the phone as her hat falls. Sophia is now a full fledged light pink hedgehog, keeping her eye color, and having pink quills that act as long hair draping onto her back. She still has the shirt on to cover herself up and she looks down at her hedgehog feet. Her glasses fall off her face and Sonic steps up to her in slight concern as her vision settles in...and she can see. She had those glasses for prescription, but now it was like she wasn't blind without them.

"You're...like me..." Sonic murmurs to her and she turns away.

"But how?" Maddie asks in disbelief.

"I...I look like a freak! No offense...how am I gonna live my life now? Is this permanent? I have a life, my friends, school!" She holds her arm and he feels bad as she tries not to cry.

"Hey, it's okay," He places a hand on her shoulder and she looks up at him. "You still look pretty, human or not. And if anyone says otherwise, they're wrong."

She smiles weakly at him.

"Don't worry, Sophia. We'll find a way to fix this," Tom assures her.

"We love you for who you are," Maddie places a hand on her shoulder and she sniffles, wiping her unshed tears.

"Thanks, you guys..."

"Hopefully, this is temporary, as crazy as it is. So what happens now?"

"Now all I have to do is think of where I want the other end of the ring to appear, and I throw it," Sonic explains simply.

"So that's it? We did it?" Tom asks him.

"Yeah! We did it!" Sonic answers, earning a smile.

"Hey, sorry we didn't get to do anything on your bucket list, pal."

"It's okay. I did the ones I needed the most," Sonic smiles up at him and Maddie looks between the two.

"You two are so cute."

"I know, right? I didn't wanna say it and then have it be just me who thinks so," Sophia looks up at her mom.

"Oh, please. What?" Tom questions in disbelief.

"We are not," Sonic denies to her and Sophia giggles.

"No."

"We're not cute," Maddie gives a skeptical look but decides not to argue. "We are a couple of loose cannons just living by our own rules."

"Exactly," Tom agrees with him.

"Really?" Maddie questions in doubt.

"Yeah."

"And our rules include expressing heartfelt emotions," Sonic adds in.

"If you say so."

"Okay, then," Sonic looks up at Tom, saddened that he has to leave.

"All right." Maddie and Sophia smile knowingly at each other. Looking at these two, Sophia feels more assured about her...current situation. "Um, you gotta go, right?"

"Yeah, I gotta go."

"I gotta go. We gotta go too," Tom points behind him. He was having a hard time saying goodbye as well.

"See-alright, bye bye." Sonic turns away and Sophia's eyes sadden as she was hiding her distraught over Sonic leaving. He then looks back towards the trio. "Just...two more things." Tom steps forward and bends down to his level. Sophia slowly walks over to them. "I'm sorry I was so hard on you two. I know it's a tough decision for you to leave Green Hills, and for you to feel like you couldn't tell anyone, let alone me." Sophia frowns a bit upon the reminder. "Walking away from something you care about..." He looks right into Sophia's eyes as there was a double meaning behind it. It's tough for Tom to leave Green Hills, and it was tough for Sonic right now to leave behind Sophia, because he cares about her a lot... "Has to be painful."

"I'm sorry too. I...shouldn't have kept in these feelings about moving away for so long, and...it ended up backfiring majorly," Sophia rubs the back of her neck. "I really did want to tell you, but...I..." She falters, unsure of what to say to him.

"It's okay. We're okay," He tells her with a soft smile and she returns it.

"You're not sure you really wanna go, huh?" Tom asks knowingly.

"I don't wanna go," Sonic confesses to them. "But I can't stay. As long as I'm here, I put everyone in danger. I can't do that, especially to you," He glances at Sophia. "And...because of me, you probably can't even live a normal life now...I just want you guys to know that these last two days have been...the best two days of my life."

The three smile and Tom stands up. Sophia furrows her brows, looking towards Sonic. "Wait...what's the other thing?"

Tom looks back at them curiously and Sonic now feels a bit awkward. "Uhh...w-well...one of the things on my bucket list was to have a first kiss..." He rubs one of his back quills sheepishly. "And you don't have to, but...I-I was wondering if...I could...well...you know...have mine with y-you...?"

Sophia's mouth opens in shock but then she closes it, stepping forward. She takes a hold of his hand and he looks down at them, looking back up at the female hedgehog in awe. He's earned with a smile and then she leans forward, kissing him. He closes his eyes and kisses her back. Maddie squeals a bit, taking a picture. Tom just smiles a bit, as he's come to terms with it. Especially since Sonic accepts the girl as she is now, and...

Well, he just wants Sophia to be happy at the end of the day.

Sophia pulls away a few seconds later. "How was that?"

"...Amazing!" He cheers in happiness, hugging her tightly. "Thank you..."

She hugs him back and then she lets go, stepping back towards her parents. Tom puts his arm around Maddie, placing his hand on Sophia's furry left shoulder.

"You know, I never thought I'd say this, but I'm actually gonna miss you, you little blue devil," He speaks up.

"I'll miss you too, Donut Lord and Sunshine...Thank you."

"...For what?" Tom asks in confusion.

"For saving my life."

"Even though you DID shoot at him..." Sophia points out and her father groans.

"I'm never gonna live that down, am I?"

"Nope," The other three reply with big smiles and he just rolls his eyes in amusement.

"And thank you, Sunshine...for teaching me what's it like to be in love. I just...wish that we could be together...like I've been wishing since the day I saw you. Out of all of the things from Earth...I'll miss you the most."

She gasps, covering her mouth with her hands as she processes that. "Sonic..." She tears up a bit, and she wants to say it back, but...he was leaving Earth now...and she couldn't be with him. He saddens as he turns away from her, taking a ring from the bag. He throws it...but then it hits one of Robotnik's drones, and it bounces off. They suddenly find themselves surrounded by the drones.

"Okay. Did somebody leave their 'Find My Phone' on?" Sonic wonders as they have no way out now...
