Chapter 8: Chibi-Moon's companion- Enter Amy
Tokyo, Azabu-jūban district, Hiwaka Shrine, 10: 00 A.M…
PPPPPPPPPPPPPTT!
Minako does a spit take. "You're kidding!" she exclaimed in shock. The others looked pretty shocked as well and Sonic, who looked rather wet and annoyed, wiped off the water that Minako spat on him.
"I wish we were Mina…" Tails sighed solemnly. Sonic, Tails, Rei, Usagi, and Chibiusa had just finished explaining their encounter with Eggman's Drumbot and how he used Maya's Pure Heart Crystal as a power source.
Makoto looked downright pissed. "Just when I thought that sick bastard couldn't sink any lower!"
"This is very bad, how could he have learned how to mimic the Daimon's extraction abilities?" Ami questioned, worried.
Sonic tucked his hand behind his head and frowned. "Well, Eggman is petty shifty."
Ami's eyes widened when she remembered something. "Oh, that reminds me! Tails and I were talking about the events with Eggman's first robot and we came up with a theory about the chaos Emeralds connection with the Silver Crystal."
Everyone perked up at this.
"Really? What did you two discover?" asked Sonic.
"Now, this is just a theory, but we believe that Usagi wasn't lying when she said that the Emerald had a mind of its own." Tails surmised.
"How's that possible? I mean, if it had a mind of its own, I would've already sensed it then." Rei said.
"True, but depending on how the Emerald feels, for instance, the first Emerald Usagi found wasn't being used for anything evil but when we got the second that was powering that robotic Colossus it linked with the Silver Crystal because it was in pain for being used as a weapon." Ami clarified.
Makoto looked curious. "So, what does that have to do with Usagi-chan's connection to the Chaos Emeralds?"
"We're getting to that. You see, on our home world each of the Chaos Emeralds governs our whole world and keeps it balanced. We think when Eggman planned on using the Chaos Emeralds for his own nefarious plan the Emeralds powered up and teleported themselves here. Us getting caught in the teleportation was not their intention, they were just trying to get themselves away from Eggman as far as possible but he like us got caught in the event that brought us here."
Everyone was completely stunned by twin-tailed fox kit's theory.
"Wow...!" said Chibi-Usa with wide eyes.
"That's crazy!" Sonic exclaimed.
"But like we said, it's just a theory, we don't know for certain." Ami added.
"By the way Chibi-Usa, you still haven't told the others why you're here." Usagi reminded.
"Oh, that's right!" The small pinkette digs into her pocket. "I have a letter from mommy."
"A letter? Then lets se it." Usagi holds out her hand to take the letter from Chibi-Usa's hand. But much to her chagrin, she walked past her.
"Read it Minako!" Chibi-Usa said, completely ignoring Usagi.
"Uh...okay." Minako takes the letter from her and begins to read it. "I don't know how to thank you for allowing Small Lady to train with you. I'll leave my daughter in your hands. P.S: I'm glad you're here Sonic, please keep my daughter out of trouble with anything involved with Eggman."
Everyone was surprised by that last part.
"WHOA! The queen already knows who we are?!" Sonic questioned with wide eyes.
"Well, Neo Queen Serenity is Usagi-chan's future counter part, so she already knows you from her past self." Luna explained to the blue hedgehog.
"What else does it say?" asked Rei.
"It ends with "Love Neo Queen Serenity"." Minako read out loud.
"And?" Ami pondered.
"That's it."
Rei's eye twitches in disbelief. "Seriously? That's all?"
"When you remember that the Queen is Usagi, then the letter makes sense..." Luna groused with Artemis nodding in agreement.
"WHAT'S THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN?!" Usagi shoots two felines a death glare, frightening them.
"You do have a point Luna," Minako shows them the letter, which is poorly written. "This letter is written without any Kanji characters!"
"EEEEEEEEEEHHHHH?!" Everyone cried out in shock before they gathered around to see the letter themselves.
"She's right!" said Makoto, astonished
"You see? One character was written wrong and erased!" Ami pointed out.
"I can barely read that thing!" Sonic exclaimed.
"Neither can I!" Tails agreed. "It's like a child wrote it!"
"She should've used a dictionary." Artemis commented.
"It must've been too much trouble for her." Rei huffed.
"Well, she is Usagi after all." Luna said in agreement.
"U-Umm...Instead of that...I think our concern is Chibi-usa..." Usagi interrupted, blushing madly out of embarrassment.
"She says "training", but what?" pondered Minako, putting a finger to her chin.
"Beats me." The blue blur shrugged.
"If it's training to become a princess, then there's no reason to bring her here." said Makoto, her arms folded.
"What if she picks up all of Usagi-chan's bad habits?" Ami asked worriedly.
Usagi's eyebrow twitched at this.
"That's a huge worry. Future Mars told me lots of stories about that."
"She WHAT?!" Usagi growls in rage, a crimson red aura enveloping her as she whipped her head to glare in Rei's direction.
"REEEEEIIIII!" The Odango-haired teen roared as she tackled the Shrine Maiden.
"OOF!" Rei grunted. The two got into a brawl.
"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU TELL CHIBI-USA?!"
"IT WASN'T ME! IT WAS MY FUTURE SELF YOU BAKA!"
"IT'S STILL YOU! YOU MUST'VE TALKED BAD ABOUT ME! YOU'RE SO MEAN!"
"YOUR CLUMSINESS IS A FACT!"
"YOU'RE MEAN! MEANY!"
Everyone sweat drops as they watch the brawl.
"Uh...is this, normal?" Tails asked nervously.
"Unfortunately, yes it is." Luna sighed.
"You'll get used to it." said Makoto, patting the fox kit's shoulder.
"Don't worry. I won't turn out clumsy like Usagi!" Chibi-Usa reassured.
"We'll help all we can, don't be shy about asking." Ami said kindly.
"Thank you!" Chibi-Usa bowed. "Well, I'm off to train!"
They smiled as they watched the small pinkette happily ran off. Ami turns to look down at Sonic and Tails.
"Sonic-kun, Tails, make sure you watch over Chibi-Usa-chan. We don't know what Eggman's next move will be."
"Okay!" Tails nodded, spinning his twin-tails.
"You got it!" Sonic winked with a thumbs up.
ZOOM!
With that, the duo raced down the stairs and onto the road, leaving behind streaks of yellow and blue.
Minako then notices another note inside the letter. "Oh! There's another note inside!" she takes out the note and reads it out loud. "'Dear Usagi from the 20th century.'"
Usagi and Rei abruptly cease their brawl.
"'It turns out I should've studied when I was young, do your best' it says..."
Everyone, sweat drops at the last part.
"'Do your best' it says..." Minako parroted, turning to Usagi.
"It was Usagi after all!" Makoto, Ami, Minkao, Luna, and Artemis deadpan in unison.
"I DON'T WANNA STUDY~!" Usagi wailed.
Elsewhere...
Meanwhile, at the Port of Tokyo, the ferry was parking by the docs and dropping off its passengers. However, amongst the crowd that stepped off the ferry was a short figure that was wearing a black hooded cloak. It looks at the device on its wrist and presses a few buttons, activating it and causing two dots to appear on the screen.
"Just as I thought, they are here," the figure spoke in a female voice. "Don't worry you guys, I'm coming."
The female figure wasted no time and took off, heading for Tokyo.
Meanwhile, in Tokyo...
Sonic is jumping from the rooftops, with Tails flying beside him, while keeping a close eye on Chibi-Usa, who was happily skipping along the sidewalk with Luna-P sitting on her head.
"Everything is so much more peaceful here in the 20th century!" Chibi-Usa beamed. She then starts thinking back to what her mother told her before she left for the 20th century.
Flashback...
"Small lady, what you must learn in the 20th century is how to make friends."
Chibi-Usa looks up at her mother, perplexed. "Friends?"
"Yes," Neo Queen Serenity nodded. "It will help you grow as a person and make valuable acquaintances."
Flashback end...
The pinkette's thoughts were interrupted by a couple of kids playing soccer.
"Wait up!" One of the kids shouted, kicking the ball.
"Hurry, hurry!"
"Valuable acquaintances?" Chibi-Usa pondered out loud. Just then, she saw a small doll drop right in front of her. Curious, the small pinkette picks it up and notices that it's wearing a red shirt with the word "Chin" written on the front. Chibi-Usa turns and sees a boy who is a little taller than her. The pink-haired girl blushed, finding him quite handsome.
'A valuable acquaintance!'
"Umm...e-excuse me...did you...drop this?" Chibi-Usa asked shyly.
What happened next completely shocked her. The boy started acting strange and circled his hips around, saying.
"Yeah, I did. That's mine! Got a problem with that?"
Chibi-Usa was a little freaked out by this. Sonic and Tails, who were watching the scene from the tree tops, looked rather disturbed as well.
"Do you prefer bell peppers or pickled scallions?" the boy asked, still doing the weird dance. "If you and I had late night coffee together, we'd be "cafe au late"!"
Chibi-Usa falls to the ground and drops the doll. The boy circles around her and picks her up, shaking her slightly.
"What's the matter? Pull yourself together! Your wounds are serious! Don't give up!"
"Uhhh..." Tails trailed off, his eye twitching while Sonic face-palmed.
The weird boy got up and started dancing strangely again. "Looks like I'll have to use my final resort. Look at this!"
Looking up, Chibi-Usa paled in horror as she watched the boy grab his pants.
"I'M AN ELEPHANT~!" The boy exclaimed as he pulled down his pants. However, he noticed that Chibi-Usa was gone. "Huh? Where did she go?"
Behind a tree, Sonic and Tails were both panting, holding a shaken up Chibi-Usa while covering her eyes.
"Man...that...was close...!" The blue hedgehog huffed and puffed.
"I know..." Tails nodded in agreement. "Agree to never speak of this again?"
"Agree." Sonic nodded and shook Tails' hand.
Later...
A few minutes later, Sonic, Tails, and Chibi-Usa were walking down the sidewalk.
"Thanks you guys, that kid was about to do something, but I don't wanna think about it." Chibi-Usa thanked before shuddering at the memory.
"I don't think we should talk about that at all." Tails grimaced.
Sonic shudders, nodding in agreement. "Agreed..." a sudden thought then came to the blue hedgehog's head. "You know, you and Usagi don't seem pretty close."
Chibi-Usa looked perplexed. "What do you mean Sonic?"
"I mean, you're her daughter from the future right? You sure don't treat her like she's your mother, more like...how should I say this?" Sonic scratches his chin in thought.
"Your relationship is more like a sibling rivalry." Tails clarified.
"Oh..." The pinkette said in realization before holding head up high. "Well, it's because she never acts her age and is always complaining about the simplest things, like when she doesn't get dessert when she gets bad grades at school."
The two Mobians sweat dropped at this.
"Well, I can't argue with that," said Sonic, scratching the back of his head.
"You do have a point there," The two-tailed fox sighed.
"By the way, who is this "Eggman" you guys keep talking about?" Chibi-Usa asked curiously.
Sonic looks at her very serious. "First, listen closely Chibi-Usa because this is very important. When you see a robot like that again, leave it to me, Tails, Usagi, and the other Sailor Senshi."
The young pinkette's eyes go wide before frowning. "What? You don't think I can handle it?"
"Precisely, you were unprepared when you went in there like that." Tails pointed out.
"Egghead is the most psychotic man alive today, and back in my world he even turns animals like me and Tails into his robot hordes, and is hellbent on getting his hands on the Chaos Emeralds in order to conquer not just my world, but possibly yours as well. That's who Eggman is."
This time Chibi-Usa didn't say a word. The way Sonic described this man was frightening. She starts thinking back to when she fought that robot back at the Jūban festival. Her attack had absolutely no affect on it. And if it wasn't for Sonic and Sailor Moon, it surely would've finished her.
'Could this Eggman really be THAT awful?'
While walking, Chibi-Usa suddenly froze in her tracks. Sonic and Tails immediately took notice.
"Chibi-Usa, you okay?" asked Sonic.
They look in the direction where Chibi-Usa was looking and saw a small young girl wearing a traditional Kimono. The pinkette blushes, finding her rather cute.
"SHE'S SO CUTE!" Chibi-Usa thought to herself. Without warning, she ran after her.
"Whoa! Chibi-Usa, wait up!" Sonic said as he ran after her.
"Chibi-Usa! Wait!" Tails called out.
When Chibi-Usa turned a corner, she noticed that the girl was gone.
"Huh? Where'd she go?" Chibi-Usa asked as she looked around for her.
"CHIBIUSA!"
Chibi-Usa turns to see Sonic and Tails running towards her.
"You really gave us the, slip we lost you for a moment." said Tails.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to worry you guys." Chibi-Usa apologized.
Sonic pats her on the head. "It's okay. By the way who was it you were looking for?"
Before Chibi-Usa could answer, a voice called out.
"HEY CHIBI-USA! HEY SONIC AND TAILS!"
The trio turns around and sees Mamoru standing by a food stand, waving at them.
"MAMO!" Chibi-Usa beamed as she excitedly ran up to him, with Sonic and Tails following behind. "Mamo! It's you! Mamo!" she jumps on his shoulders, hugging him.
"Hey Mamoru, how's it hanging?" Sonic greeted, giving him a fist bump.
"It's fine," Mamoru replied. "I see that you've met me and Usako's daughter from the future. I hope she wasn't too much trouble."
"A little, but nothing I can't handle," Sonic shrugged before playfully tousling Tails' hair. "Though she did give Tails the snuggle train like Mako and Mina."
The twin-tailed fox groaned at this. "Sonic...!"
Mamour chuckles at this before turning to Chibi-Usa. "So what brings you here to the present day era?"
"Oh! I came here to train!" Chibi-Usa replied.
"Train?"
"Yeah, mommy and daddy from the future said I should!" The pinkette explained. Turning around, she noticed Sonic and Tails looking rather scared. "Huh? What's wrong with you guys?"
The two Mobians pointed behind her. Chibi-Usa looks in the direction they're pointing and sees Usagi glaring at her, growling with a menacing red aura surrounding her.
"Oi, Chibi-Usa...Mamo-chan and I are on a date...!" The Odango-haired teen growled out.
"Oh boy...!" Mamoru thought nervously.
Chibi-Usa looks at her for a minute before hugging Mamoru. "He's my Mamo!" she said, smiling cheekily.
"ABSOLUTELY NOT!" Usagi grabs her boyfriend by the shirt and starts dragging him. "LET GO OF HIM!"
"NO!" Chibi-Usa rebuked, still hugging him. Sonic and Tails were watching the entire argument with gob-smacked expressions.
"Okay, wow...just...WOW." The blue hedgehog said incredulously.
"Maybe we should leave them alone for a bit..." Tails said while slowly backing away.
"Took the words right outta my mouth lil' buddy,"
ZOOM!
Sonic turns around and speeds off, with Tails following behind. Sometime later, Usagi, Mamoru, and Chibi-Usa were sitting on a bench eating the Takoyaki that Mamoru bought after things cooled down a bit.
"I'll feed you Mamo-chan." Chibi-Usa offered, much to Usagi's chagrin.
"No, I'll do that!"
"I will!"
The two begin fighting over who would feed Mamouru the Takoyaki. Their fighting was then ceased by a familiar voice that spoke up.
"I almost mistook you for a happy family."
Usagi and Chibi-Usa turn around to see Haruka and Michiru who were dressed in formal Japanese kimonos.
"Hi, I haven't seen you since the festival, little one." The blonde amazon greeted the small pinkette.
"WOW~! You look so lovely, just like mommy and daddy!" Chibi-Usa said in awe.
"Now Chibi-Usa. despite how Haruka looks she's actually a woman," Usagi corrected before blushing. "And your mommy is the future me."
"That has to be a mistake!" The pink-haired girl rebuked. "Mamo, yes, but I've always had doubts about you!"
Usagi shoots up, glowering down at Chibi-Usa. "Now listen here you-!"
Mamoru quickly halts their arguing. "That's enough you two!" He said sternly.
"Okay..." The two said meekly.
Michiru couldn't help but giggle at this. 'We're going for tea. Would you care to join us?"
"Oh, no thank-." Mamoru began, but was quickly cut off by Usagi.
"Yes! Tea sounds wonderful!" The Odango-haired blonde chimed in. "I was just thinking tea would be good. Also, a cake filled with cream, and cookies and custard a la mode would be great!"
As they headed for the tea temple, they were being spied on by Eggman's drones from above.
Meanwhile, with Sonic and Tails...
"You know Sonic, I'm having second thoughts on leaving Chibi-Usa behind back there." Tails said worriedly as he flew next to Sonic, who was speeding down the highway.
"Ah, don't worry lil' buddy, she's with Usagi and Mamoru, so she'll be fine." The blue hedgehog reassured.
The twin-tailed fox still looked rather worried. "I know, but still...I just got a bad feeling..."
As the two Mobians enter a food court in the mall, Sonic saw a chili dog stand. Grinning, he was about to walk over to the stand, but was stopped by Tails.
"Sonic, wait! I don't think that's how it works here."
"Huh? What do you mean?" asked Sonic.
Answering his question, Tails points to a customer giving the owner of the stand some money, which seemed to be a different currency compared to the currency of money on Mobius, which were rings.
"Their currency of money is different than ours, we can't pay for it." explained the two-tailed fox.
Sonic frowned and sucked his teeth. "Dang it! Where's Mamoru when you need him?"
As the customer took his chili dog and left, the owner of the stand noticed Sonic.
"Hey, wait a minute! You're the blue blur!"
"Yeah, but unfortunately, I don't have the right kind of money," The blue blur sighed.
"Oh, that won't be a problem. We have two extra spicy chili dogs free of charge!"
Sonic and Tails both look up in shock.
"Wait, you serious?!" Sonic questioned.
"Of course! It's the least we can do for you and your fox friend saving our city from that robot monster!" The stand owner took out the two chili dogs and handed it to Sonic and Tails, who were both drooling.
"Wow, thanks man!" The blue speedster grinned, taking his chili dog.
"Thank you very much sir!" Tails thanked as he took his.
"No problem!" The stand owner winked at the two Mobians. Walking away, they took a seat by a nearby table and start eating their chili dogs.
"I still can't believe we got these for free," Tails spoke up, his mouth full.
"I know, right?! This place is starting to grow on me!"
As the two resume eating, they were oblivious to a mysterious figure watching them.
At the tea temple...
At the tea temple, the group were sitting on the floor on their knees, waiting patiently. Usagi, on the other hand, looked rather disappointed.
"This...is tea?"
They hear the door slide open and turn to see the small young woman that Chibi-Usa saw the other day, the latter bowing in courtesy.
"Who is that?" asked Usagi.
"This is Tamasaburo, he's the head tea master of the Yaburakoji Burakoji family," Michiru explained.
"THAT'S A GUY?!" The Odango-haired teen thought in shock, her jaw dropping.
"Thank you all for coming," Tamasaburo bowed once more, with Michiru, Haruka, and Mamoru returning the gesture. Usagi looks at the three in confusion before bowing, while Chibi-Usa was too busy staring at the young tea headmaster in awe.
"This is destiny..." Chibi-Usa whispered, her ruby red eyes sparkling.
Death Buster's hideout...
Meanwhile, at the Death Buter's hideout, Dr. Tomoe was keeling down in front of a kettle pot making some tea.
"Tea is wonderful...it soothes the soul..." whispered the mad doctor as he scoops up his tea and pours it in his cup. Then, he whisks it with his Bamboo whisk. He picks up his cup and takes a sip, but spits it out due too it being too hot.
"THAT WAS HOT! DAMMIT!" Dr. Tomoe yelled as he threw his cup into the wall, breaking it.
CRASH!
"That's enough for today..." He sighed as he stood up. He just then remembers something. "Oh! I've had an epiphany!"
Witch's 5 hideout...
At the Wicthe's 5's hideout, Eudial was typing the data into her computer while talking to Dr. Tomoe on the phone.
"Yes. Did you say ceremonial tea?" Once she was done, it pulls up Tamasaburo's bio on the screen. The red-haired Daimon smiled in satisfaction. "I found him."
"Good...then I will prepare a Daimon to match. Hahahahahaha...AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Wasting no time, Dr. Tomoe puts the tea kettle into the Heart Snatcher Oven. The mad scientists' special formula passes through the processor is added to create the Daimon Pod, which passes through inside of the oven, to gather energy and merge it with the tea kettle. During the process, a voice shouts from inside of the oven.
"CHAGAMA~!"
Once the process was complete, it is transported onto the conveyor belt in a steel crate which is loaded into the trunk of Eudial's van.
At the tea temple...
Back at the tea temple, everyone was patiently waiting as the tea ceremony to began. Well, all except for Usagi. Chibi-Usa's feet are slightly, numb and Usagi's feet are VERY numb. Everyone else's are just fine.
"Chibi-Usa, me legs are numb~! Let's go home~!" whined Usagi, her face twisted in pain.
"I'll push through it. I'm not like you Usagi!" Chibi-Usa jeered. Looking down, she sees Tamasaburo handing her a plate of Dango.
"Ooh~! Dango!" Drooling, the small pinkette picks up one of the Dango and starts gobbling up. As she's eating, she feels a tap on her shoulder. Turning around, she sees Usagi smiling coyly at her. "Hmm?"
Looking in the direction to where Usagi's pointing, the future moon princess sees everyone else eating their Dango in a more etiquette manner. Chibi-Usa blushes in embarrassment and turns to see Tamasaburo staring at her, causing her to blush even redder. Usagi giggles before bursting out in to laughter. Irritated, Chibi-Usa punches Usagi's foot. And do to it being numb, the odango-haired teen felt immense pain.
"YEOW~!" Usagi yowled in pain. Recovering from her pain, both her and Chibi-Usa punched each other's feet simultaneously and they both yelp in pain.
"If you're uncomfortable, you're free to sit informally if you'd like." Tamasaburo offered.
"W-We're fine..." Usagi smiled weakly, still in pain and Chibi-Usa nods in agreement, also in pain.
The tea headmaster smiles at them. "I have something you'll like."
Tamasaburo is spinning a tea cup on a pole. Usagi, Mamoru, and Chibi-Usa sweat drop at this.
"Is this a tea ceremony or a circus?" Usagi thought to herself.
"Headmaster..." Haruka blinks in surprise.
Michiru smiles. "How considerate of him."
Mamoru, Chibi-Usa, and Usagi look at the two Outer Senshi flabbergasted. "What?"
"The master is trying to relax you," Michiru explained. "That teacup it a national treasure they say, it's worth millions."
Usagi's eyes turn into dollar signs. "MILLIONS?!" she immediately shoots up and tries to stop the head tea master. 'S-Stop it! Y-You're gonna break-!"
However, due to her legs being numb, she trips over her feet and WHAM! Crashes into Tamasaburo, sending the tea cup flying into the air.
"OH NO!" Mamoru, Michiru, and Haruka quickly got up and catches the tea cup before it could hit the ground. Hearing the sound of muffled groans, they look down to see that they've accidentally stepped on Usagi.
"You're heavy..." Usagi groaned in pain.
"S-Sorry..." Haruka sweat dropped.
"We couldn't help it," Mamoru also sweat dropped, while Chibi-Usa is blushing bright red out of embarrassment.
Back with Sonic & Tails...
Sonic and Tails exit the food court, patting their stomachs with satisfaction while licking the chili sauce off their muzzles.
"BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRP~!" The two Mobians let out loud burps.
"Man...those chili dogs were good!" Tails moaned in bliss.
"You said it lil' buddy!" Sonic agreed. Not too far away, they spot Mamoru, Usagi, and Chibi-Usa were sitting outside of a café eating chocolate parfaits.
"Hey look! It's Usagi, Chibi-Usa, and Mamoru." said Tails.
"Let's go see what they're up to." Sonic suggested as he and the twin-tailed fox headed over to them.
"I've had it with you! You've embarrassed me in front of Tamasaburo!" Chibi-Usa said angrily. "I hate you, Usagi!"
"I was embarrassed in front of Haruka and Michiru too, you know!" Usagi rebuked.
Chibi-Usa "hmphed", turning away. "You deserved it!"
"WHY YOU LITTLE!" Usagi growled as she reaches over and pinches Chibi-Usa's cheeks HARD.
"Ow, ow, ow, OW! OW! LET GO!" The pinkette cried out in pain, flailing her arms.
"NEVER!" The Odango-haired teen snarled.
"Hey guys!" A familiar voice called out. Mamoru turns to see Sonic and Tails approaching them.
"Oh, Sonic and Tails!" Mamoru smiled.
The duo looked over to see Usagi still stretching Chibi-Usa's cheeks like they're rubber.
"Uh...what's goin' on here?" questioned Sonic.
"Guessing we came at a bad time?" Tails asked sheepishly.
Mamoru shakes his head. "No, you didn't."
"So what did we miss?" The blue hedgehog pondered.
"Well, you see-."
"Usagi-baka embarrassed me at the tea house in front of-YEOW!"
"THAT'S ENOUGH OUTTA YOU!" Usagi barked, stretching Chibi-Usa's cheeks even harder.
"USAKO! That's enough!" Mamoru said sternly, prompting the Odango haired-teen to let go of the small pinkette's cheeks.
"Owwww...!" Chibi-Usa groaned, rubbing her sore cheeks. Sonic and Tails sweat drop at this while Mamoru sighs, shaking his head before shifting his gaze to Chibi-Usa.
"Chibi-Usa, do you like Tamasaburo?"
The pinkette blushes from the question and Sonic and Tails looks up at Mamoru curiously.
"Tamasaburo? Who's that?" asked the two-tailed fox kit.
"He's the head tea master of the Yaburakoji Burakoji family," Mamoru explained. "Chibi-Usa has a bit of a crush on him."
Chibi-Usa slams her hands on the table, blushing even redder. "M-Mamo!" she shouted in protest.
"Ooh~!" Sonic looks at the small pinkette teasingly. "Looks like mini-moon's finally growing up."
The future moon princess blushes 50 shades of red.
"Sonic! Don't tease her!" Tails chided the blue blur, the latter laughing at Chibi-Usa's reaction.
"I...I-It's not like that..." Chibi-Usa muttered, looking down. "It's just...mommy told me to go make lots of friends in the 20th century. She said it was a way to make valuable acquaintances."
"I see...you didn't have many playmates in your timeline." Tails surmised, earning a nod from the pinkette.
"Is that it?" Usagi questioned. "If you had told us, then we would've helped."
"Asking you for help would only make things more complicated." Chibi-Usa grumbled. Usagi was about to lunge at her, but was quickly held back by Mamoru.
"C-Calm down! We understand the situation!" Mamoru said as he tried to hold his girlfriend back.
Chibi-Usa lets out a small sigh as she rested her chin on the table. Just then, she feels a gloved hand patting her head. She looks over to see Sonic smiling at her reassuringly.
"Hey, if ya want, we can be your friends."
The pinkette's eyes go wide at the blue hedgehog's offer. "R-Really? You mean it?!"
"Sure!" Tails nods happily.
The Mobian hedgehog grins. "You bet!"
Beaming with joy, Chibi-Usa jumps out of her seat and hugs the two Mobians. "Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!"
Sonic and Tails laugh as they returned the hug while Usagi and Mamoru couldn't help but smile at the adorable scene. However, they were completely unaware that they're being watched.
Eggman's Lair...
Eggman is watching the whole event on his monitor, from Chibi-Usa's journey around Jūban, to running into Sonic and Tails and to meeting Tamasaburo at the tea temple with Usagi, Mamoru, Haruka, and Michiru.
"So, our little pinkette is trying to make friends, eh?" Eggman mused, twiddling his mustache. "And she seems to have a rivalry with her mother's past self. I should send her a little playmate."
The mad scientist gets up from his seat and makes way into his lab, where his drones are working on a robot.
"Unlike my last robot, this one will be more resilient to sonic waves or any other surprises those harlots might have."
Tokyo, Azabu-jūban district...
Sonic, Tails, and Usagi were walking to the tea temple with Chibi-Usa, the latter sporting a red kimono.
"That's it, I'm definitely gonna become his apprentice!" Chibi-Usa said determined.
"With that kimono on, it's hard for him to refuse," Sonic gave his trademark wink and thumbs up.
"Just don't get my kimono dirty," Usagi told her.
"YOU DON'T EVEN WEAR IT ANYMORE, SO WHY DOES IT MATTER STINGY?!" Chibi-Usa yelled out.
"DON'T CALL ME STINGY!" Usagi shot back. Both Sonic and Tails held them back to prevent them from fighting each other.
"STINGY! STINGY! STINGY PANTS!" Chibi-Usa mocked.
"IN THAT CASE RETURN THE KIMONO!"
"G-Guys! Calm down!" yelled Tails, holding back Chibi-Usa. All of sudden, they heard the sound of a car approaching from behind. They turn around and see a car racing towards them causing the five to jump back.
"What was that?!" Tails questioned.
"That was..." Usagi gasps when she saw Eudial driving the car. "EUDIAL!"
They see Eudial make u-turn and drive towards Tamasaburo's house, much to their shock and horror.
"She's going into Tamasaburo's house!" Chibi-Usa gasped. Wasting no time, she, Luna, Sonic, and Tails crawled under the bush towards Tamasaburo's house. However, they stopped, when they hear Usagi yell out their names.
"SONIC-KUN! TAILS! LUNA!"
"Huh?" Turning around, Sonic's jaw drops when he sees that Usagi was stuck under the bush. Tails and Luna had similar reactions.
"What are you doing?!" Luna questioned.
"I'm stuck and can't get through!" Usagi yelled out, struggling to get through.
Sonic looks down at Luna and says. "You go with Chibi-Usa, Tails and I will try to get Usagi out."
The black feline nods and runs after Chibi-Usa. The two Mobians walk over to Usagi and grabbed each of her hands.
"Don't worry Usagi, we'll have you outta here in a jiff!" Sonic reassured. As him and Tails begin to pull, Usagi suddenly bursts out laughing when she felt something pecking her backside. On the other side of the bush was a little bird.
Tails sweat drops and says. "This is going to take a little while..."
Unbeknownst to them, a mysterious hooded figure was following the trail that Eudial raced down towards Tamasaburo's house.
Tamasaburo's house...
CRASH!
"Huh?" Tamasaburo perked up when he heard a loud crash. Curious, he walks out of his house to see Eudial's car crashed into a statue. The red-haired Daimon steps out of the car and says.
"Oops, did I hit something?"
"Who are you?" asked the tea headmaster.
"Got you!" Smirking, Eudial pulls out her capture gun and fires a beam that struck Tamasaburo's chest, extracting his pure-heart crystal.
With Chibi-Usa and Luna...
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUUGHH~!"
Chibi-Usa gasps when she hears Tamasaburo's cry of agony. "Tamasaburo!" her eyes narrow. "MOON PRISM POWER, MAKE UP!"
She begins undergoing her transformation. However, she suddenly trips over a rock and lands flat on her back.
"GUH!" Chibi-Usa cried. Once her transformation was complete, she gets back up and continues running towards Tamasaburo's house.
With Eudial...
"Hmph, that was easy." Eudial smirked in satisfaction.
"NO!' Chibi-Moon yelled out as she jumped in front of a now unconscious Tamasaburo protectively.
"Huh?" Eudial blinks in surprise and confusion.
"I won't let you take Tamasaburo's pure-heart!" Chibi-Moon proclaimed. "I am the Pretty Guardian Trainee who fights for love and justice, Sailor Chibi-Moon!"
"Daimon! Appear!" Eudial called out. The trunk opens and so does the Heart Snatcher oven, releasing a pink fog.
"In the name of the future moon, I'll punish you!" Chibi-Moon finished, doing her trademark pose.
"Huh?" questioned Eudial, who was not llistening.
"In the name of the future moon, I'll punish you!" The pinkette repeated, looking rather annoyed. Once the pink fog clears up, it reveals a green-skinned Daimon with pointed ears and was wearing a traditional Japanese kimono.
"Chagma!" The Daimon, known as Chagma, begins levitating in the air.
"Chagma! Someone's in our way, get rid of her!' Eudial commanded, taking off her lab coat. The Daimon wastes no time and flies towards the small pinkette on her flying carpet.
"Boil and bubble..." The Daimon pulls out a matt and throws it towards Tamasaburo's pure-heart crystal.
"Oh no!" Reacting quickly, Chibi-Moon grabs the pure-heart crystal, but got trapped in the Daimons matt and falls to the ground with a thud.
"UGH!" She cried. The pinkette begins to struggle when Chagma starts pulling her towards her.
"Hand over the pure-heart!" demanded Eudial.
"N-Never!" Chibi-Moon rebuked. Then, out of the blue, a familiar voice shouts out.
"WORLD SHAKING~!"
Eudial turns and gasps to see a yellow energy sphere hurling towards her, forcing her to jump and dodge the attack.
"DEEP SUBMERGE~!" Another voice yells out and a aqua blue energy sphere strikes Chagma, causing Chibi-Moon to be freed, while also falling flat on her face.
"Oof!" She grunted.
"Answering the call from a new era, Sailor Uranus, here to fight with brilliance!"
"Also, Neptune here to fight with elegance!"
Eudial glares at the two Outer Senshi. "You again!"
Chibi-Moon recovers and bows to Uranus and Neptune. "Thank you for saving me."
"We're not here to rescue you," Uranus sad bluntly, causing Chibi-Moon to sweat drop.
Neptune analyses the pure-heart crystal and says. "Unfortunately, this isn't a talisman."
"Failed again?" Eudial questioned in disbelief as she stepped into her van. "Chagma, take care of the rest any way you like! If it's you know, then you can do whatever. Bye!"
That was the last thing she said before driving off.
VROOOOOOOOM~! VRROOOOOOOOOOOMM~!
"Selfish woman..." Chagma grumbled before sighing. "Oh well, might as well take care of the-" she gasps when she sees that Uranus, Tamasaburo, and Neptune were no longer present. "W-Where'd the others go?!"
"Huh?" Chibi-Moon turns around to see that the three were gone. "What the?! They're gone!"
The two stare each other down until Chibi-Moon decides to go on the offense.
"PINK SUGAR HEART ATTACK~!" She shouted as she aimed her wand at the Daimon, It took some time for it to work. But once it did, the blast was out of range.
"You gotta be kidding me...!" Chibi-Moon groaned inwardly.
Chagma, getting rather bored, decides to drink some tea. However, she was unaware of Chibi-Moon creeping closer.
"Ah...that was good." The Daimon sighed in content until she was repeatedly struck in the chin by Chibi-Moon's attack. "OW! OW! OW! OW! STOP! THAT HURTS!"
In the trees, Sonic and Tails were watching the scene, covering their mouths to suppress their laughter while Luna was on the ground, watching with a sweat drop.
"Oh man! This is just too much!" The blue hedgehog snickered.
"Usagi, hurry and transform!" Luna told the Odango-haired teen, who is covered in leaves.
"I know, I know! MOON COSMIC POWER MAKE-UP~!"Usagi raises her Cosmic Heart Compact in the air and transforms into Sailor Moon.
As Chibi-Moon was about to attack again, she hears a familiar voice call out to her.
"Chibi-Moon, leave the rest to us!" The pinkette looks over to see Sailor Moon standing on a boulder, with Sonic and Tails beside her.
"The wait is over! The real, authentic genuine one is here!" Sailor Moon monologued. "I am the Pretty Guardian who fights for love and justice! I am Sailor Moon!" she strikes her trademark pose. "In the name of the moon, I'll punish you!"
"You're late!" Chibi-Moon exclaimed, earning a sheepish look from the two Mobians and an annoyed glare from Sailor Moon.
"Sorry, Tails and I were trying to get Usagi unstuck from a bush." Sonic apologized, rubbing the back of his head.
"And don't get mad at me! You're the one who left me behind!" Sailor Moon barked.
"Hmph! Clumsy Sailor Moon," Chibi-Moon scoffed.
THWAP!
Chagma, who just recovered, smacks Chibi-Moon at the back of her head, knocking her to the ground.
"Allow me to show you three my hospitality!" Chagma flies towards the trio on her flying carpet and launches tea at them which was hot enough to melt solid rock, forcing the latter to dodge.
"AH!" Sailor Moon cried.
"WHOA!" Sonic and Tails exclaimed.
"Here you go! Here's more! And another!" She throws even more acidic tea, but they dodge the attack. The Daimon was then struck by Chibi-Moon's Pink Sugar Heart Attack. Sonic and Tails saw this as an opportunity to counterattack.
"Now's our chance!" The blue hedgehog curls into a ball, spinning rapidly before launching himself like a bullet and WHAM! He rams into the Daimon's back, sending her flying through the air. But it didn't stop their. Tails appeared in front of Chagma and THWACK! Strikes her across the face with his trademark tail-swipe attack, sending her flying back towards Sonic, who kicks her in the chin, knocking her high up unto the air. Then, he jumps up high in the air axe kicks her to the ground, creating large crater. Landing, both him and Tails see the Daimon lying in the crater, bruised and beaten with several tears in her kimono.
"Wow...!" Chibi-Moon said in awe. "These two are so strong!"
"Sailor, now's your chance!" Tails called out to Sailor Moon, who nodded.
"Right! MOON SPIRAL HEART ATTACK~!"
Staggering up to her feet, Chagma gasps when she sees Sailor Moon's attack hurling towards her.
"W-W-Wait! I'm not ready yet!" Too late. The blast already struck her. "L-LOVELY~!"
Chagma reverts back into a kettle tea pot. The Daimon egg emerges from it and cracks, releasing a puff of black smoke.
"Well, that was easy." said Sonic, rolling his shoulder.
"Umm...Sonic, Tails, Sailor Moon..."
The three turn to look at Chibi-Moon, who had her gaze averted to the ground while fiddling with her thumbs.
"I...I just want to say..."
"What is it?" asked Sailor Moon.
"I want to say...thank you..."
They all look down at her in surprise, before Sonic smiles and brings a hand to her head.
"Hey, no problem. What're friends for?"
Chibi-Moon smiles and giggles in response. Behind the bushes, Uranus and Neptune were watching the scene, with Tamasaburo being carried by the Uranian soldier.
"The little one tried very hard." Uranus smiled, with Neptune nodding in agreement. However, everyone was completely oblivious to Eggman's drones spying on them.
Eggman's lair...
In Eggman's lair, Eggman was watching the whole scene.
"How disgustingly sweet, well time to send you your new little playmate."
The man starts typing on his control panel while singing a song. "I'm a little teapot short and stout~! Here is my handle, and here is my spout~! When I get all steamed up just hear me shout~! JUST TIP ME OVER AND POUR ME OUT!"
He presses a big red button, launching his latest robot.
Back with Sonic, Tails, Sailor Moon, and Chibi-Moon...
Suddenly, Sonic and Tails' ears twitch when they hear something falling.
"Everyone, incoming!" Sonic exclaimed. Everyone looked up and saw a fireball falling towards them. Sailor Moon quickly grabs Chibi-Moon as everyone else jumps out of the way, causing the fireball to hit the ground.
CRASH!
Once the dust settles, it's revealed that what hit the ground was a giant tea pot.
"Ah tea pot?" questioned Sailor Moon. All of a sudden, the tea pot starts sprouting arms and legs. As it gets up, the gang had a good look at it, its right arm as the tea lid was a shield. The robot jumped out of the crater and landed right in front of everyone. Then it scanned them before turning towards the bushes.
"Infrared scanning in progress." Tea-bot spoke as it toggled it's infrared vision. It scans the bush and pinpoints Uranus, Neptune, and Tamasaburo's hiding spot.
"Target acquired!" Locking on to its targets, it wastes no time and lunges over our heroes with tremendous speed to where Tamasaburo was hiding. Uranus and Neptune jump out from their hiding spots in front of the robot.
"Uranus! Neptune!" Sonic, Tails, Sailor Moon, and Chibi-Moon said in surprised.
"Let us handle this! WORLD SHAKING~!"
As her attacked hurled towards the Teab-bot, it uses its shield to deflect the attack, much to her shock.
"What?!"
"DEEP SUBMERGE~!" Neptune launches her attack at the robot, which was also deflected by its shield. The Tea-bot aims and fires a stream of hot boiling water at the two Outer Senshi, forcing them to separate. The robot approaches a petrified Tamasaburo and speaks in a dark, sinister baritone.
"Assimilation in progress!"
A black star appeared on its chest and it charges up a black beam, much to the horror of the two Outer Senshi
"WHAT?!" Uranus exclaimed in shock and horror.
"It's taking his pure-heart crystal!" Neptune said, also horrified.
"Oh no you don't!" Sonic and Tails jump in the air and launches a homing attack straight at the Tea-bot. However...
CLANK!
"GUH!" The two Mobians were suddenly struck in the midsection by the Tea-bot's shield that it flung at them, sending them flying into a boulder.
CRASH!
"SONIC/SONIC-KUN! TAILS!" Sailor Moon and Chibi-Moon cried out in horror. Finally, the black star fires the black beam at Tamasaburo.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUGHHHH~!" Tamasaburo screamed in pain as the beam pierced his chest and removed his pure-heart crystal.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! GIVE THAT BACK! THAT'S NOT YOURS!" Screamed Chibi-Moon as she ran towards the Tea-bot.
"CHIBI-MOON, NO! DON'T YOU REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED LAST TIME?!" Sailor Moon called out to her.
"PINK SUGAR HEART ATTACK~!" Chibi-Moon shouts as she fires her attack at the Tea-bot, which of course does nothing. The robot turns around and aims its weapon at Chibi-Moon.
"CHIBI-MOON!" Sailor Moon cried. Sonic and Tails, who have recovered, gasped in horror when they see the robot was preparing to fire at the small pinkette. However...
CLONK!
A large red hammer flew out of nowhere and struck the Tea-bot, knocking it to the ground. Everyone was shocked by this.
"W-What?" questioned Chibi-Moon in shock.
"A hammer?" Sailor Moon pondered as she watches the hammer fly back to its owner like a boomerang, which was a mysterious hooded figure standing on a tree.
"Who is that?" asked Uranus as she eyed the mysterious hooded figure, who jumps off the tree and walks towards the robot, who was recovering from the surprise attack.
"You've got some nerve, attacking a defenseless little girl," The hooded figure spoke in a female voice. "Then again...I don't expect any less from Eggman's creations."
Sonic and Tails' eyes go wide when they heard the hooded figure's voice.
"Wait a second..!" Tails said in shock and realization. "Is that...?!"
The hooded figure took of her hooded robe, revealing herself to be a pink-furred 12 year old anthropomorphic hedgehog with light green eyes and peach skin covering her muzzle, inner ears, and arms. She has a small black nose, triangular ears on top of her head, and no back spines. She also has two medium-length eyelashes on each side of her eyes. Additionally, her five short head quills point downwards, somewhat resembling a bob cut. She also has three spikes for bangs on her head, and a short tail. Her attire was a red, sleeveless, backless dress with a white trim at the bottom and a white petticoat underneath, tall red boots with a white stripe down the center and white cuffs, a red hairband, and white wrist-length gloves with gold bracelets for cuffs.
"Why don't you pick on somebody your own size?!" The pink hedgehog glared at the Tea-bot.
"AMY?!" Sonic and Tails both screamed in shock. As Tea-bot recovered from Amy's attack it fired scolding hot water at her. She quickly jumped up and reeled back her hammer to strike the robot.
CLANK!
But it blocked it with its shield. Then, its spins its shield and hurls it at the pink hedgehog, who blocks with with her hammer, but the force from the throw forced her back a few feet, her feet skidding against the earth.
"Sailor Moon! Her hammer won't hold for long! Use your rod while I'll hit it with my fullest!" Sonic told Sailor Moon, who nodded.
"Right! MOON SPIRAL HEART ATTACK~!"
She fired her attack that struck the Tea-bot's backside, due to it being busy attacking Amy. Seeing and opening, Sonic rushes forward and curls into a ball, spinning rapidly and sharpening his quills before launching himself straight at the Tea-bot and SMASH! He smashes it into bits, releasing Tamasaburo's pure-heart crystal.
Eggman's lair...
"No! No! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Eggman cried in defeat and frustration.
Back at Tamasaburo's house...
After the robot was defeated, Sonic and Tails run over to Amy.
"You alright Amy?" Sonic asked in concern.
"Yeah, I'm fine," Amy replied. "Where have you been Sonic? I was worried about you!"
Before Sonic could answer, Sailor Moon chimed in.
"Sonic-kun, who is this?"
"Oh, right," The blue hedgehog gestures to Amy. "This is Amy, she's another one of my friend's back at home."
"Pleased to meet you Amy," Sailor Moon holds out a hand to the pink hedgehog, who smiles and shakes it.
"You too!"
Chibi-Moon looks around with a panicked expression.
"W-Where's Tamasaburo's pure-heart crystal?!"
"Right here," Uranus said, holding it.
"Please, let me return it." Chibi-Moon pleaded. The Uranian soldier nods as she allowed her to return the head tea master's pure-heart crytsal. While the Sailor Senshi were busy, Sonic and Tails notice a few scars on Amy's arms and legs.
"Whoa! Amy, where did you get those scars?!" Sonic questioned in concern.
"Hmm?" Amy looks down at her scars. "Oh, these, I'll explain everything later." the pink hedgehog then gives the blue hedgehog a look. "So this is where you were the whole time, hanging out with a bunch of girls.
"Huh? Why're ya lookin' at me like that?" questioned Sonic.
"Oh, I don't know I was thinking you don't find them attractive."
The blue hedgehog sighs. "Amy, I can assure we're just friends. I'm helping them defend their world from their enemy until we can find a way back."
Amy still didn't look too convince. "You sure?"
Tails, not liking where this is going, decides to change the subjcet.
"Amy, do you know anyone else that is here?" asked the twin-tailed fox.
"No, no one so far," Amy replied before glomping Sonic into a hug. "In the mean time, it's just you and me Sonic!"
"AUGH! A-Amy, let go!" Sonic exclaimed as he tried to pry Amy off of him, with Tails laughing at the sight. Meanhwile, Tamasaburo was staring at the Sailor Senshi and the three Mobians in awe.
"S-So cool..." He muttered.
Later...
Sonic, Tails, Usagi, and Luna were walking with Amy and Chibi-Usa to Tamasaburo's house, who were both wearing matching kimonos.
"This time for sure, I'm gonna become his apprentice." She said with determination.
Amy smiles at the pinkette. "And we'll support you all the way, right Sonic?"
"Oh yeah, just remember be yourself and everything will-" Sonic suddenly stops when he notices something in the distance.
"What's up Sonic-kun?" asked Usagi.
"Look," Sonic points and they see Haruka and Michiru, who were both leaving in a hurry for some reason.
"It's Haruka-san and Michiru-san!" Usagi said in realization.
"Why were they in such a hurry?" Tails wondered. Once they've entered the Tamasaburo's house, what they saw completely shocked them. Tamasaburo was wearing his very own Sailor Senshi outfit.
"Sorry to keep you waiting!"
"WHAT THE WHAT?!" Everyone exclaimed as they backed up against the wall.
"I've found a new way of tea through the guardians I saw in my dreams!" Tamasaburo begins monologuing. "I am the Pretty Headmaster of ettiquette and practice! I am Sailor Tamasaburo! YAY!"
Everyone stood their flabbergasted until Sonic shouted.
"RUN!"
ZOOM!
Sonic and Tails both zip out of Tamasaburo's house, with Amy, Usagi, Chibi-Usa, and Luna following behind.
