Welcome to the Destiny and Genshin crossover as I took interest in Genshin's story and lore and the game is addicting no doubt that I spent a little just to pull certain characters. Anyways this idea crossed my mind one day and so I decided to give it a shot.

Disclaimer: I don't own either...

The Last City...

The only place in the Solar System where Humanity resides as it's protected by the Traveler and its Guardians. The Guardians have been tested throughout time of using the Light to protect Humanity and defeat the forces of the Darkness. As time goes by, many guardians have fallen while many more are resurrected from the dead by Ghosts sent by the Traveler who are deemed chosen.

Legends were built of the guardians' heroism and their powers to repel against their enemies as their light and immortality are their greatest weapons. Stories of the Iron Lords, the battle of Twilight Gap, and many more as they reveal a long history of guardians' commitment to protecting the last survivors of the First Collapse. Peace in the Last City is temporary as large scaled conflicts have arrived such as the House of Devils attempting to use SIVA, the awakening of the Hive prince Crota, and the wrath of Oryx the Taken King.

Even when these threats have been dealt with another one arrived in a form of a surprise attack. The Cabal Red Legion attacked with a large scale fleet and through the element of surprise. The Legion managed to sever the guardians' connection to the Traveler's Light as they became powerless and are no longer immortal. Remnants of the Vanguard reunited to take back the city and push the Red Legion off the planet as they managed to do so in the process and even defeat the Light embedded Dominus Ghaul who's using the Light against them but perished.

This conflict would be forever known as the Red War as Humanity sought out to rebuild once again from the Red Legion's destruction. The Vanguard retook their posts on the walls as they overlook the Last City's reconstruction. This will not be the last as many more threats will come while the Traveler takes the time to repair itself.

We now go to a Hunter who is leaned against a concrete wall beside Banshee-44's stand. The Hunter wore a Righteous Mask shaded in Mercurian Sunrise with a reddish glow in the slits of the helmet, Righteous Grips but in Genotype-Null, Empyrean Vest shaded in Mercurian Sunrise also, Lucky Pants in Amethyst Veil, and Neoteric Kiyot Cloak shaded in Mercury Vex Chrome. The guardian was thinking deeply to himself of Cayde-6's death as the sly Exo Hunter was someone who's very well known and loved throughout the Vanguard.

His death came during the chaos at the Prison of Elders where he attempted to prevent the Scorned Barons from escaping. The hunter cursed himself for not getting to Cayde quick enough as the Exo's life was taken by Uldren Sov. With this, the Hunter vowed to kill Uldren and his Barons in avenging Cayde and restoring the Reef but soon discovered that Uldren is a piece of a grander scheme. The events that unfolded were caused behind the scenes by none other than Mara Sov's Ahamkara Riven.

The Ahamkara was using Uldren to be set free from its imprisonment but its escape was foiled by the Hunter as this kept the creature from leaving the Dreaming City. After the death of the Barons and Uldren Sov, a raid was established to slay Riven who's corrupted by the Darkness as the Hunter along with five other guardians were sent to the Dreaming City. Having killed the last Ahamkara, it was too late as Riven had given out one last wish which resulted in the Dreaming City being infected by the Taken.

The fight continues for the Dreaming City but the Hunter needed a break as he traveled back to the Last City with Cayde's weapon. He needed it fixed as it held great importance from its previous user. It took awhile for Banshee to repair as it had been damaged in battle. As the Hunter waited, his ghost appeared as it seemed worried.

" What will you do with Cayde's gun?"

" Use it. I'll honor his death by using it to the very end." the Hunter replies.

" I'm sure that Cayde will be thankful for this." his ghost reassuring his decision as he nods in return.

Other guardians passed by as they waved in respect of his vengeance for Cayde. This was something he had to do alone since Zavala wouldn't bother to take action as he was on Ikora's side in hunting Uldren down. The Hunter didn't like the Titan Vanguard's decision as he wanted to take action as there are times when Zavala can really piss him off. He would rather be a renegade and do things himself than be binded to the Vanguard's policies.

As time passed the sound of Banshee knocking on the side gave the signal that he's finished. The Hunter walked back to the front of the stand to meet the Gunsmith. Laying in front is a weapon covered by a clean rag as Banshee was rubbing his hands with a towel while the Hunter awaits for him to speak.

" I was able to repair it in good condition. I even gave it a new paintjob." Banshee says as he slowly removes the cloth while the Hunter watches in amazement.

The Ace of Spades looked as good as new but sported a more metallic gray color with two crimson colored stripes on the side and the Ace also glowing in crimson. This is such a masterpiece from the only Gunsmith around as Banshee's works would sometimes surprise him. The hand cannon looked as it was begging to be held as the Hunter slowly picks it up and examines closely.

" Don't get it scratched up. Cayde would really appreciate what you've done. Not many of us have the will to do it." Banshee says while polishing a pulse rifle.

" Right. Thanks Banshee. Do I need to pay you?" the Hunter questions.

" Nah. This is on the house. When you take that out to the system, show them what it's made of."

Thanking the Gunsmith once again, the Hunter places the hand cannon in his holster and was about to head out until Zavala appeared. The two stared at each other for a moment until the Titan Vanguard broke the stare.

" Guardian. Well done on stopping Riven and Uldren. The Reef may have been lost to the Taken but we will continue helping the Awoken."

His words meant nothing to him as he walks past Zavala to the hangar. He spoke once again to try and get his attention. " I only allowed you to act on your own accord once. Next time abide by the Vanguard policies."

" Whatever..."

Cosmodrome...

Revisiting the place where he was resurrected, the Hunter gazed at the sunset while sitting on a rusted vehicle that has been left alone for a long time.

This is the place where his Ghost found him and that it was a sign that fate has more plans for him. He couldn't help but recall all the things he's been through as they were his accomplishments that other guardians couldn't compete against.

It wasn't for fame, glimmer, or anything else. He wanted peace for Humanity and to for there to be no more fighting. But we know that's not going to happen any soon. Ace of Spades can be seen in his hands in its new glory.

The Hunter fiddled around with it as nothing but the ghostly silence of the Cosmodrome filled his ears. Ghost reappears as he watches his guardian do nothing more than stare at the scenery.

The Cosmodrome has seen better days as it's infested with Hive and Fallen.

" Maybe a nice bowl of ramen will cheer you up."

" I'm fine but thanks." he replies as he went back to being silent.

" I wonder when I revived you of whether you were quiet in your past life." Ghost ponders.

" Well guardians can't remember their past. Bet I was full of energy and talking nonstop." the Hunter chuckling a bit while wondering if he had a different persona than his silent one.

" Hm maybe. How about we take a trip to go see the milky waterfalls on Nessus. I'm sure you'll enjoy it." Ghost says with little enthusiasm.

" Probably.."

Before he could talk further, the Hunter suddenly sensed a strong aura from Ghost as he looks at his little friend to find him suddenly in some sort of trance. The aura of the Light can be seen emitted from its shell as its one blue eye stares at the guardian.

" Ghost. What's wrong?" the Hunter filled with concern as he reaches to grab his Ghost until a very pleasant voice spoke.

" Your Ghost is alright. I am using it as a way to communicate with you." it says.

" Who are you?"

" I am a messenger of the Traveler. I've come to deliver that your needed somewhere else." it explains.

" Needed. Somewhere else?" he questions with curiosity.

" Indeed. The Darkness as we know is already taking action but not here."

" Not here huh. Is it somewhere in the system?" the Hunter still questioning.

" I'm afraid not. The Darkness seeks to bring destruction on a world different from ours. You are chosen to be sent to this world to prevent that world's destruction."

" Why is this world important if it's not in ours?" as many more questions start to rush in his head.

" This world only wishes to flourish but if the Darkness consumes it then it will be a greater threat in the future." the agent answers even though there's more to it.

" Ok...but why me of all guardians. Why not also have the Vanguard handle this?"

" Because the Light saw potential you carry in your accomplishments. You've slain the many threats posed against humanity. Your Light continues to grow stronger each day. Hunter, do you accept the Traveler's request?"

This was something that the Hunter never would've thought. Ever since his resurrection, he took on the impossible and still came out alive. It was going to be another adventure but away from this system.

Anything at least for him to get away from Zavala is a good reason but he'll miss the Crucible, Lord Shaxx, Drifter, Petra Venj, and many more. But this is for the sake of stopping the Darkness from having a grasp on another world.

" Will I be able to return?"

" Yes."

" Then I accept." were his final words.

" You've made a wise decision guardian. You'll now be transported there in one moment."

Huh, Already!?

Soon he begins to glow in a bright aura and is slowly lifted into the air until vanishing out of sight. The light attracted some Fallen in the region but couldn't find the source as they resumed their daily scavenging.

Teyvat...

The land of Mondstadt is a peaceful a times with people going on with their daily lives while monsters roam around in search of their next victims. The capital sits on an island surrounded by a beautiful lake with wide open plains and mountainous regions. The only order in this region is none other than the Knights of Favonius with their main objective to protect their people from anything that threatens them.

Due to the Knights' efforts, the nation is stable with monsters being repelled to helping ordinary citizens. Mondstadt is one of seven nations that make up Teyvat, a world where the seven elements flow and converge. Civilization was able to thrive thanks to the Archons who bestowed upon them magical abilities but suffered a collapse as now Teyvat is yet from being at peace.

But a darker force is on its way to bring this world in ruins as an outside force has sent someone to prevent it from happening. This is a story of the guardian who will do everything in his power to protect the people of Teyvat from a dark demise.

We return back to Mondstadt where in the clear blue skies a white comet appeared out of thin air as it was flying above the city. Some took notice of this strange event as they wondered what a comet is doing in the middle of the day. The comet descended quickly not far but to the green open plains. What remained of the comet is only a Hunter class guardian lying on the ground.

The sweet air and sway of grass woke him up as he grunts from his transportation. He shook his head as he tries to grasp at what happened and where he's at now. He can only recall being enveloped in a bright light and that was it. The surroundings were no longer that of the Cosmodrome but similar to the outside of the Last City.

It was beautiful in his eyes as he gazed at the clear blue sky with few clouds passing by. He checked his body to make sure that he's alright as he felt fine. Ghost reappears from thin air as he looks around with a tired look. " Ohhh my. What happened?"

" We were teleported."

" Huh how?" Ghost beginning to question.

" Something proclaiming to be an agent of the Traveler sent us here." the Hunter replies.

" Agent? I wasn't notified of an agent." Ghost filled with uncertainty as he flies around to get a grasp of their situation.

" Oh no. Where are we?!" its voice becoming more alarming and afraid.

" Calm down. We were sent here to stop the Darkness from consuming this place." the Hunter explains.

" Darkness. If that's the case then we must inform the Vanguard." Ghost already trying to communicate with Zavala.

It was for awhile but no signal or any connections to the Titan Vanguard as Ghost became more concerned. " I can't contact the Tower. It's as if were cut off or don't have any connections. It's just the two of us."

" I figure something like that would happen. Come on, we gotta find out where we are." the Hunter already walking.

" Do you know where your going?"

" No but we just can't stand here." the Hunter impatient.

" Ohhhhh. We are dead." Ghost feeling as if there's nothing left but to follow his guardian to wherever their journey leads.

Will end it here and I know its a little rushed and should be longer but I wanted to get that out of the way and on to the story. The Hunter does have a name and will be mentioned for the rest of the story. Thanks guys for reading and have a nice day:)
