Ch1. Rise of the Ghost
The Fourth Great Ninja War is over. Kaguya is sealed away, and the Ten tails is separated. Madara Uchiha was the host of the ten tails and having it removed, he knew only death awaited him. Before passing away he had a brief talk with Hashirama. Knowing that death was in the horizon, Madara couldn't help but share a few words with his old friend, Hashirama.
"Guess this is the end of the line for me... I wish we could have done better...done more..." said Madara in a bated breath.
"We can only do so much while we are alive. That is why is important we entrust things to those who come after us." Hashirama told Madara
"As soft as ever Fufu.. you've always.. been.. that glass half full idiot.. but just maybe that was the right way to do things." Madara stated as he took his last breath.
The Great Madara Uchiha was finally dead. When he opened his eyes again, Madara found himself to be warmed by a small bonfire surrounded by an infinite darkness. Madara wearing his red samauri styly armor and Uchiha attire underneath, he had on during the Fourth Great Ninja War. His thoughts delved into the life he had led before. The way he had acted, the decisions he had made, and the results he achieved.
"What if I had done things differently, similar to Hashirama? Would things have turned out differently? I've lost so much and gained so little. The family I've lost, the brothers I failed to protect, the clan I wanted to protect only to have them frown at me and turn their backs on me the dream to save the world is gone. I have nothing left. So why am I still here? " Madara poundered to himself in the darkness.
The dark space suddenly seemed to brighten up. The area lightened up into a bamboo forest. Madara became curious as to what was going and was not certain as to what just happened. The area now bright as day, a dirt trail leads off to somewhere through the forest. The fireplace that was lit, has now been put out by some unknown force. Madara had a feeling that he would find the answer to his question somewhere in the forest. He stood up and then went ahead on the trail through the forest. As he walked through the forest, noticed that there was only one path and there was also movement in the trees. Madara knew he was not alone in the forest and a confrontation will take place.
The path brought him to an open area and on the opposite side there was another path that led to another area. He continued to walk and once he reached the middle of the clearing, he was surrounded by around fifty shinobi dressed in black. Madara with his arms crossed was not fazed by the number that surrounded him, instead he was pleased.
"Come." Stated as he uncrossed his arms. The next moment he activated his Sharingan.
*The Last of Clan Adachi OST Ghost of Tsushima*
The first group of attackers were three of the dark shinobi. The first one went for a flying punch and Madara simply tilted his head to the side to dodge the attack. The next shinobi went for a flying kick and Madara tilted his back enough to dodge it with ease as ease. The third shinobi went for flying chop attack to head and Madara evade it by ducking his head. The three shinobi landed and then turn around to continue their attack along with two shinobi joined the attack.
The group was moving around the area, Madara blocking and dodging all their attacks. The next moment, Madara went on the offense, punching two shinobi in the head and giving the other three a kick to their necks. The five dark shinobi drop all at once to the ground. Then ten more dark shinobi went on the offence. Every attack that was aimed at him was blocked and countered with his own attack. One attack to the head, a kick to the the shinobi's leg and then the spin, bringing the arm of one then a kick to the head. The shinobi continue attacking fearlessly against Madara. He took out 7 of the 10 shinobi.
The remaining numbers began to move in on Madara. Madara used his Sharingan with amazing speed at the remaining opponents. He runs through them and begins his assault. Striking his opponents down with one strike sending them flying. Two shinobi from opposite side throw a explosive kunai at Madara. Madara notice a delay in their attack, he catches the kunai, removes the explosive tag places it on a shinobi, kicks the shinobi into another group of shinobi, throw the kunai at the shinobi head and does the same with the other explosive kunai but throws it at the chest of the other shinobi. The smoke cleared and all the shinobi were dead. Madara begins to walk to the next pathway and then dark shinobi bodies disappeared and turned into a kunai with chain on it.
"Hell Kunai acquired" a mysterious voice spoke.
"Hmm, looks like it might come in handy." He said as he examined the new kunai with a chain on it. He threw it at a near by tree and pierce a hole clean through it. The next moment the tree was engulfed in flames. Madara then retacted the kunia with a satisfied look on his face.
He continues down the pathway to the next area. In the next area, there were another group of enemies except they wore armor. The fact that they had armor meant nothing to Madara, he will still dispose them like any other foe. It came down to the last two enemies the leader and another enemy solider with some skill. Madara armed with a katana from one the fallen soliders he took out.
*No Mercy-Ghost of Tsushima*
The leader and soldier charged in towards Madara. The leader jumped in the air, and spinned his body to build up momentum for his attack. The armored soldier began to attack, Madara blocked his attacks and kicked him in the chest hard which pushed him to back. The leader come down with a hard strike, Madara made a sidestep, dodging the attack and delivers a hard roundhouse kick, sending the leader back a bit. The soldier charges in for an attack, Madara parries and does a low kick, which sweeps the solider off his feet and another low kick to his head. The leader charged in again, this time he launched three slash energy projectiles at Madara. Madara dodged the projectiles, the leader went in for a thrust, Madara dodged once again, broke his arm and then decapitated his head. The last soldier got up and charged towards Madara. Madara respected his fearless effort, the last soldier attacks and Madara parried before delivering the killing blow. The last soldier falls and Madara walk to the trail that leads to the next area. Before he leaves the area, bodies disappear and turn into a katana and his armor turns black. The katana is called "Yato no Kami (God of Night Blade)".
"This will do quite nicely." As he examined the katana. He turned to a group of trees and boulders. He assumes a quickdraw stance and draws the katana, swinging it in a few directions then sheaths it and walks off. The trees and boulders fall to pieces.
Madara comes to the last area. He came to a small cliff and sees four-armed shinobi armed with different weapons: a staff, daggers, two swords and spear. Madara smiled and jumps down. The four shinobi turned about and saw the intruder. They drew their weapons and prepared for a fight. The shinobi with dagger stepped up to the challenge, Madara drew his katana, and they begin to fight. The dagger shinobi went for a few strikes, Madara blocked the oncoming attacks and finishes by sweeping the dagger shinobi off his feet. Then the shinobi with dual blades charged in, jumping at Madara for his attack. Madara side stepped and knees him in the gut before kicking him to the side. The other two went on the attack and failed. The four shinobi huddle up to come up with an attack, while Madara waited patiently. This time, they all charge in, the shinobi with the staff goes in first against Madara.
Madara blocked the frontal staff attack, and the shinobi goes for a round house kick, Madara blocked it. The shinobi goes for a sweep, Madara dodges it this time causing the shinobi goes for a jumping mid kick which Madara blocks off. He then kicks that same leg which causes the shinobi to be knocked off to the ground. The shinobi with the spear steps up next. He launches a series of thrust, Madara dodges and block the attack and finally locks the spear to the ground with his katana. With his other arm, he uppercuts the spear shinobi. The shinobi with daggers charged in with a flying kick, Madara ducked his head dodging the attack. The dagger shinobi went for a thrust, which Madara blocked again. The shinobi then goes for a back kick, Madara blocks it off, and immediately attacks the other leg, sweeping the dagger shinobi off his feet. The shinobi with dual swords steps for an attack to catch Madara off guard but it failed. They both begin to exchange attacks, the dual swords shinobi lands a hit on Madara arm, then Madara lands a back kick to the dual swordman gut pushing him back a few steps. They both continued to attack each other, Madara then lands a hard round house kick to shinobi head, knocking him to the group. Madara looking at the scratch on his shoulder pad and chuckled. The other shinobi barley able to stand up.
"You fight well, I'll give you that. Unfortunately, it's time to ends this fight." Madara declared.
The dark shinobi made a last rush. Madara respected their fearlessness and met them head on. Madara in a burst of speed and power dashed and slashed through the dark shinobi and then sheathed his katana, the shinobi fell to the ground. Their bodies disappeared and a black mask appeared.
"Nightmare Mask acquired" mysterious voice announced. Madara grabbed the item and headed down the trail.
Madara came into a new area and looked around at his new surroundings. The floor covered in a thick fog, the area had torches lighting up the surrounding area and a throne with stairs was in the middle of the area. Then he is greeted by a mysterious person.
"Welcome, Madara Uchiha." The mysterious person greeted.
"Who are you?" Madara asked the mysterious person. He could sense the aura of this powerful being and attacking it would be unwise on his part.
"Think of me as this world's guardian." He stated.
"Guardian? Well, what does this guardian want with me?" he asked.
"A place called Nazarick will be attacked and raided by an unknown force. They will steal items that can destroy kingdoms, countries and the world if used incorrectly. I want you to help the leader of Nazerick recover the items and rebuild Nazerick. When it was raided, a lot of its forces were taken out. Only the guardians and some servants remain." The world guardian explains.
"What kind of leader would allow such a thing to happen in the first place?" He questions
"That's the thing, it only happened shortly after he got there. The leader is like you, he was brought to this world. In addition, he and his friends built this place, and someone wants to destroy all that they have built. They nearly succeed." The world guardian explained.
"I see, how will I benefit from helping this leader?" Madara questioned.
"Power and more battles with strong opponents. In addition to a new life and some new skills." The guardian explained. Madara thought about this offer and did not think it was a bad deal. It could have been worse for all he knew.
"Alright. I will accept this task."
"Excellent, oh, you will be revived as a demon just so you know. You will be a lot more powerful than your previous life. Also, two additional things there is a position that needs to be filled in Nazarick, you fit that role quite well. Also, I'm sending someone with you to assist you. There is just one catch."
"What is the catch?" Madara asked.
"Well this person... "
Before the world guardian could even finish a hole in ground opened underneath Madara and closed up after he fell through. The guardian was in a little bit of panic because he knew the person responsible. Madara found himself in a dream. He can't remember the last time he dreamed of anything. He was standing on top of his statue in TheValley of the End. The last time he was here he battled Hashirama to the death.
The area went from sunny to sunset. Madara notices a woman in black across the top of the Hashirama statue. Madara doesn't recall seeing a women dress like that when he was alive. A young slim woman with a large bosom and black hair style in a bob cut. She wore a long dark gothic dress with an open back and a stomach corset. In addition, she wears a dark mourning veil and a mini top over her head, as well as pair of dark gloves and an umbrella. She gave off a smile. Then the dream ends.
It's been a long time since Madara had a decent night of sleep and a dream. When he woke up, his head was laying in a woman in black's lap and caressing his hair. He didn't feel any killing intent from her, so she is not here to kill him.
"Awake?" said the woman in black
"Where are we?" Madara asked the woman in black.
"My territory."
Madara took a quick glance at her then casually got up and looked around the area. It was dark and a few lights in the area. It looks more like a post-apocalyptic area. Buildings were crumbling and looked ready to fall apart. After looking at the area Madara brought his attention to the woman in black.
"Looks like my type." She said in a calm tune.
"I'm Rubine, Darkness of Maddening Death." She said with a smile.
"Uchiha, Madara." He also introduces himself.
"Then Madara, from on, you are my property"
Madara, with his arms crossed, raised an eyebrow at what Rubine just said and gave a light chuckle.
"An interesting proposal you come with on the first encounter. Unfortunately, I have something I must do, so that won't be happening."
"Something you must do?" As she tilted her head slightly.
"Yes." Madara said in an affirmative tone.
"Understood." As she began to stand up.
"Therefore, gain acceptance by force."
"Hoo, so you want to dance?" replied Madara
Rubine had a black magical aura emit from her body, raised her arms a little bit and released a lot of magical energy, like she willed the power of darkness itself.
Madara could sense that she was indeed powerful. The female Hokages would not stand a chance against her, that in itself is already saying something. This is the first woman he came across that was this powerful. Madara activated his sharingan, while his arms are still crossed.
"Now then, the funeral begins." With a grin on her face.
*Batman Arkham Orgins OST 1*
The area began to shake and then split apart. A grim reaper looking Sprite appeared from the ground and positioned itself behind Rubine. Strings attach to it, Rubine is able to control its movements. Madara uncrossed his arms and readied his katana. The reaper dashed forward and made the first move and with a slash from its scythe Madara blocked the attack, the area behind him was obliterated and a bottomless crater was left. In that moment Madara made his move before the debris could clear up and slice through the reaper. Three more reapers appear behind and attack, leaving deep tears in the ground
"Done?" Rubine asked.
Before the dusk and debris even cleared, Madara sliced through the reapers with ease.
"Keep going?" Rubine asked him.
"I like to stay and dance with you some more, however I have somewhere to be. Once I deal with you, I'll return to the world guardian."
"…Deal with me?" Rubine question that comment he made and sudden a masses army of reapers appeared behind her.
"Even all this?" she asked him.
"Hoo, you can summon this many?" Madara getting a little interested now.
"Spirts I control, beyond counting. If acceptable then I will continue." Rubine informed Madara with a grin.
"You should give up quickly." She pointed out.
"If I give up then what?" Madara asked
"Then belong to me." Rubine commented
"Again, with that." Madara simply chuckled again after Rubine last comment. Then he came up with idea.
"Oh, still fight?" Rubine curious now.
Then Madara closed his eyes for a few seconds and had a surge of power. Madara used his senjutsu to pull some natural energy from the environment itself. After he used the senjutsu he could feel a pulse inside his body and blood flowing through his veins. Madara has been revived as a demon like the World Gaurdian said he would.
*BADUMP* *BADUMP*
"This feeling, my blood boiling, skin crawling." began to laugh with excitement
"Excellent power." Rubine was getting excited.
"Shall we continue this dance?" Madara now had a grin.
"Yes" Rubine is now fire up.
Madara begins walking towards Rubine's army. The army of reapers charge forward. Now Madara running toward Rubine and her army.
"My Darkness, prey comes." Rubine informed her spirts.
Madara just ran right through them with ease. He grab a scythe from one of the fallen reapers. The reaper surround Madara. Madara used his new Hell kunai on one of the reapers and set it on fire. Afterwards, he pulled it to him and sliced its head off. He grabbed another scythe and paused for a brief second. His eyes analyzed the reapers and with incredible speed he took off in a flash, slashing away through the army heading towards Rubine.
The reapers picked up their pace a bit to slow him down. Madara displaying his weaponry skills, fights off the reapers as he moves closer. Dodging and countering every attack that came his way with godlike precision, power and speed. Rubine was surprised that Madara is holding his own with all the spirits she had summoned. One reaper went in for an attack. Madara knowing how destructive their attacks are, used the blast from the attack to launch himself across the battlefield.
While flying towards Rubine, Madara spinned a like shuriken while using the scythe. Rubine is now within view as he slased through the mobs of Reapers. Then more reapers appeared in front of Rubine as they dashed towards Madara. Displaying insane reflaxes, Madara dodged their attacks that could cut his head off. He performed serval backflips, dodging more of the reaper's attacks. After doing the last backflip, Madara put some distance between him and the reapers. Performing the hand seal, he yelled,
"Katoun, Gouka Metsu Gyaku- (Fire Element Grand Fire Extermination)!"
Madara fires a massive blast taken out countless sprite. A path now open he dashes towards Rubine. Rubine ready her mystic scythe.
"Rubine!"
"Madara!"
Their weapons clashes. Rubine displaying impressive skill and physical strength, twirls around her scythe. Madara goes on the offense and Rubine parries the attacks impressively. Rubine then goes on the offense, Madara side steps and does a cartwheel flip over her attacks and goes on the attack. Madara and Rubine continue their battle and sparks are flying everywhere. The remaining reapers simply watch as the two had their skirmish.
"More, show me more." Rubine getting thrilled with battle with Madara.
"Stooooop!" the previous guardian jumps in to stop the fight causing an explosion. He finally made it to Rubine territory. The guardian looks around and doesn't see anyone. There was nothing but a big pile of rubble. The next moment a large blue skeletal arm punches through the rubble clearing the out the rubble around it.
Madara activated the ribs and arms of his Susano was on one knee. Rubine was also inside and was totally shocked and impressed. Madara stands and deactivate his Susano. The world guardian walks and apologies for his rough entrance for both. He then proceeded to inform Madara that Rubine was the one who will be going with him. Madara had no objection about it. The World Guardian began to give Madara and Rubine a debrief. In the debrief he also explains to Madara that this world uses magic at different tier levels instead of chakara.. Since he also possesses an large amount of magic he could pass for a gaurdian with no problem.
"Oh, be sure to put that mask on and put it to good use. It will help you while your in Nazarick."
"Very well" Madara puts on the Nightmare mask, and he got covered by a purple and black flame. Madara body had a purple flame look the cover his whole body and the outer tips of his had a purple cinder. When he moves around, purple embers trailed behind him. Rubine looked stunned at his new appearance.
"Very cool appearance, Madara. Looks like terrifying demon"
"Rubine, I'm already a demon." Madara chuckled.
"Madara, when you get there tell Momonga…" he informed him.
"How exactly will he respond to this?" Madara asked
"He will know and so will the guardians. Also take these with you. I figured you will need this so I tailored it to your liking." He handed Madara a scroll with a black fox on it and his Gunbai with chained kama.
"Fine memories I had with this." The look at it and placed on his back.
"Another thing, Rubine you will be with Madara as his..
"Wife, Madara my property now, end of discussion." She declared
"Eh?" they both looked at her.
"Rubine, I didn't lose to you, therefore I'm not you property." Madara explanied
"Madara, didn't win either, so I'll take you either way. Beside Rubine needs a last name while we are there." She pointed out.
"She does have a point, no point in arguing there." World Guardian pointed out
"I wonder why It ended in a draw?" wondered the World Guardian though he dismissed it soon enough.
"Now get ready you two, I'll be sending you there shortly Madara and Rubine Uchiha." He chuckled.
The world guardian began to chant. Rubine grabbed on to Madara's arm who had them crossed. Madara look over at Rubine and she just smiled at him. He chuckled and told her to do as she pleased. In next moment, the two were transported to the tomb of Nazarick.
Meanwhile at Nazarick
Momonga has just got transferred to his skeleton body to another world. He began to examine himself and then sends Sebas to check the outside for any intruders. While still trying access his situation, he requested Albedo to stand in front of him. Albedo does stands in front of Momonga.
"Albedo I will be examining you." He informed her.
"Please do as you wish my Lord."
Momoga check her wrist and sure enough she had a pulse. He took it step further and gave her chest a good squeeze and she let out a strange mouning noise.
"Ahh, Lord Momonga will you take me tonight? If it's you, I can give you my body and soul."
"Eh? What are talking about?" Momonga look completely lost and confused.
Albedo began asking all sorts of strange questions he just didn't have an the answer for.
"Albedo, save those question for another time. We have more pressing matters at hand."
"As you wish, my Lord." As she bowed her head.
In the next moment there was a bright flash and then multiple explosions go off throughout Nazerick . After the explosion, the tomb was left in ruin. Only the throne room and a few areas remain unaffected due a barrier. Momonga deeply concerned on how something could have happened to the place he and his friends had built. As the leader he must finds who is responsible and begin repairs as soon as possible.
"Albedo, find the guardians and minions of all levels and tell them to assemble to the arena. Leave a few minions at the main entrance to monitor any changes." Momonga commanded
"Yes, Milord." Albedo bends on one knee and bows, before leaving the throne room.
Momonga sat on his throne trying to make sense of what's going on. He realizes that there is a lot of questions and not enough answers. The first thing he did was to assess the damage after the explosion to determine the situation. It looked pretty bad from the reports he recieved. Though another report came in soon enough that turned out to be as equally as bad.
"Lord Momonga, reports are coming in from all sections, please review them!" Alpha hands Momoga a report on personal and equipment.
"What? You can't be serious!" now in shock.
Momoga sits back in his throne shaking his head in disbelief. Realizing that the situation deteriorated rapidly. The treasury has been broken into and high valued items have been stolen. Each item has enough power to splite the earth, destroy a kingdom or country and summon supernatural disasters. In the wrong hands Nazarick could not stand up to them. Momonga sighed and gatherd his thoughts in order to make his next move.
He then teleports to the arena where meets up with a few of the guardians that are there, Aura and Mare. Aura had asked Momonga what exactly was going on. He informed her that Nazarick had been attack by multiple explosions and powerful items have been stolen. So he needed to account for everyone.
"No way, this place is very secured, there is no way it could have happened." Mare stated
"The fact that is did happen is already concerning. In addition they tried to take Nazerick out as well." Shalltear commented as she makes her way in.
"Any ideas on who and why?" Aura asked
"No one comes to mind." Shalltear answered.
The three guardians began discussion possible suspects and their reason, but there one really stuck out to them. More guardians and minions made their way into the arena. Momonga was testing some of his magic abilities like communication and summon magic while waiting.
"What about that one guardian that no one has ever seen?" Mare ask.
"Mare, there is no way it could be that one. No one has ever seen him. Plus his job is to protect Nararick, not destroy it" Aura commented.
"Which guardian would that be?" Shalltear curiously asked.
"I don't't know much, just that he is some kind of grandmaster ninja and guardian of Nazarick, heard a rumor about him from one of the minions." Mare told them.
"Oh, I remember my creator mention him one time. He would show up when Nazarick is in a dire situation or something like that." Shalltear replied.
"Who are you talking about?" Cocytus enters the conversation.
"Yes, do tell the rest of us more about this Guardian of Nazarick." Demiurge also joins the conversation.
"The Ghost of Nazarick?" Yuri replied
"Yuri nee, you know this guardian?"
The guardians were discussing about the mysterious guardian who no one has seen. Momonga sees most the guardians and minions have assembled. It's enough to have a minimum guard on all the floors.
"Lord Momonga, the guardians and minons have assembled as you have commanded." Albedo reports.
"Good work Albedo."
The same time, a small Tori gate portal opened near the arena entrance and two figures walked out of it and then the portal closed. A shinobi wearing a black and purple kitsune mask and a woman dress for a memorial service appeared.
*Naruto Shippiden -Yogensha*
The two figures have entered the arena where Momonga and the guardians were. One minion noticed the pair and then the rest followed. Momonga and the guardians looked to see what was going on and headed in the direction. The minions open a path between the mysterious pair and the guardians. The combat maids, guardians and Momonga walk to the front of the pathway.
"Who are you, identify yourself?" Albedo shouts at the pair that just entered.
"Guardian 0, Ghost of Nazarick." Madara replied as he and Rubine gave a bow.
The minions went in shock and whispered. Momonga was also in shock.
"He's actually real, I thought he was a joke character we made up just to fill up slots in the guild." Momonga thought to himself. "I better explain this to the other guardians before this gets out of hand... Unfortunately, Albedo has taken action already."
"Insolence. You dare mock the guardians. There is no such guardian, if there was I would know about it. Combat Maids, get rid of them." Albedo commanded them.
"As you command." Replied Alpha.
"Rubine." Madara called for her.
"Yes dear?" she answered
"Go have fun, but don't break them." He told her while his arms were crossed.
"Are you sure Its, ok?" she asked him.
"Yes, if they don't believe our words, then a little action will get the point across." Madara replied while looking at her. Rubine fired up, nodded her head in agreement.
"Another chance to battle strong opponents finally, come." She said as walked towards the maids. The combat maids line up and ready to fight.
"I'm Alpha, this is Beta, Solution, Delta, Nabe and Entoma." Alpha informed Rubine
"Rubine, Darkness of Maddening Death. Pleasure to meet you all." As she gave a bow and lift her dress alittle.
"Oh, fighting alone? Your odds are slightly better if you both fight." Yuri stands ready as do the other maids.
"Not needed, preparation complete. Let's begin." Rubine replied and was surrounded by a black aura.
*Legion of Monsters-Distrurb*
Nabe fired off a 5 tier of lighting and Entoma fired of some bug bullets. Beta come charging in between the attacks. Solutions moves in to flank Rubine. Rubine dodges both attacks easily. Beta goes in for the attack, Rubine stops her attack, Beta slightly surprised and then begins her attack again. Solution throws several daggers at Rubine from behind, Rubines dodges with ease, shoots a energy projectile with insane speed at Solution that hits her, then continues to exchange blows with Beta.
Beta continues to her attack and Rubine parries each one with ease. Then with a swing from Rubine scythe it pushes Beta back. Entoma throws a lot of talismans that turn in to lighting birds. Nabe launches a fire magic tier 5 this time to create a more devastating attack. Rubine grins and the next moment with her scythe slice through both magic attacks.
"Good magic attack, show me more." She said with a smile.
Solution, Beta, Nabe, Entoma, regroup and the Alpha and Delt charge in. Alpha throws a series of punches and Rubine blocks them. Delta fires off a few couple shots, Rubine dodges two shots and deflects the others. Alpha used that opportunity to land a hit in Rubine's gut which push her back a little bit. Rubine was barely affected by Alpha's attack. Alpha takes her stance, charges in, Delta providing cover fire as needed. Rubine standing still with her scythe in one hand, swings it two times launching energy bladed projectiles, one intercepted Delta's bullets and the other hit Delta sending her flying back. Alpaha looked to catch Rubine off guard again, but Rubine had anticipated this and dodge her strike. Using the staff section from her scythe, sweeps Alpha off her feet and then shoulder bashes Alpha sending back a bit.
"Good coordination." Rubine complements Alpha.
"We are not don't yet." Alpha commented.
The maids line up behind Alpha, then with her hand, Alpha signals Nabe, Solution, Delta and Entoma, who then take off to begin their ranged attack while Beta and herself charged in. Alpha planned to overwhelm Rubine from all sides and distance. Rubine grinned and a larger black aura surrounded her this time. Nabe, Solution, Delta and Entoma prepare for their ranged attack when suddenly, they were intercepted by Rubine's summon spirts. Their attacks left some deeps craters in the area and dust was everywhere.
Alpha and Beta attacked Rubine at the same time. Rubine was able to block one of Beta attacks, shortly before driving Beta;s weapon to the floor. Then launches Beta like a ball hitting against a baseball bat, sending her flying backwards into a wall. Alpha dashes in for an attack, but it was blocked by Rubine's scythe. Alpha began to deliver a series of strikes. Rubine twirls her scythe blocking the incoming strikes and goes for a horizonal slash that would have cut Alpaha in half if she did not duck in time. Rubine followed it up with a low attack that swept Alpaha off her feet before striking her head on with her scythe. Alpaha blocks but is still sent flying back due to the power behind Rubine attack.
Alpha is back on her feet and the rest of the maids are behind her ready to continue to fight. A portion of the remaining minions of moved in to assist the maids. Rubine welcoming them, as she can feel they have decent power, not on the level of the maids or guardians. Madara walks up next to Rubine.
"Dear, joining as well? Rubine not had enough fun yet?"
"if I join, it will only be if the other guardians step in."
"Rubine can take on guardians too."
"Well, let's not get greedy now." Chuckled Madara
In the next moment, a magic blast was shot at Madara and Rubine. While still talking to Rubine, Madara grab his Gunbi and reflected the attack back in the direction it was fired with a furious wind blowing. Everyone except the guardians and Momonga lost balance. Rubine looking at the Gunbai with amazement. Madara then returned it to his back.
"Let us call it here. We have more pressing matters at hand don't we." Madara informed Momonga. Madara then said the phrase that only Momonga his friends would know. Momonga had the minions leave and the guardians stand by. The two put some distance from their comrades and had their talk. Madara took off his mask and explained his story and why he is here as did Momonga.
"So you were brought here to help find this traditor and restore Nazarick, in addition you are from another world like me." Momonga summarize.
"That sums it up. You and your friends built this Nazarick. You are last of the 41 beings, in addition to being its newly instated leader and now someone wants to destroy it, nearly succeeding in their endeavor. In addition, they took powerful items that are a threat to Nazarick if they are in the wrong hands." Madara summarizing all the details.
"I see, so we were brought to this world for a reason. Your willingness to cooperate is greatly appreciated. Here, take this ring. It will help you move around the other floors in Nazarick. Contact me telepathically if you need anything. You and your comrade are welcome here." Momonga stated.
"Most appreaciated."
Madara puts his mask back on and they both walk back to their respective groups. Momonga introduces the other guardians to Madara and Rubine. He instructs them to work and get along with each other. Momonga then issues out additional tasks to the guardians. The guardians obey his command and then part ways for the time being. In another area, villages are being attacked by an unknown force for unknown reasons. The people in the villages have no way to protect themselves and are force to watch their homes burns and others slaughtered.
Momonga decided to take a look around the area and put on some black armor so that he would not disturb his subordinates in their work. Seeing the damage for himself Momonga swore that whoever did this would suffer a slow and painful death. Demiugre spotted Momonga just before he made it to the surface and requested to accompany him. Momonga allowed and they both head to the surface. Once they reach the surface, they took to the skies.
"I'm in a new world, with the guild we built. Now someone wants to destroy this place we worked so hard to build. Why? For what reason? There are too many question and too little answers... Well, it's not all too bad. The guardians and the others are very loyal to me since I stayed with them. I'm grateful for that and I will do my best to meet their expectations. I also have two new powerful allies who are willing to help me... Madara and Rubine Uchiha... " Momonga thought to himself.
Momonga noticed that Mare was finished with concealing Nazarick. He flew down to reward him with one of his rings, which will allow him to move around the others floors. Mare panicked and refused to accept such a reward, but he ordered him to take. Mare wondered why Momoga appeared in the black amor instead of his normal attire. Albedo appeared and explained his reason and intention for his actions. Albedo had noticed Mare with one Momonga rings, got a bit jealous. Momonga also reward Albedo with a ring of her for her unwavering loyalty and since she is the commander of the guardians it would be most fitting. Hiding her excitement, she gladly accepted it. Momonga looking around the area and saw two figure on the roof of the main entrance, Madara and Rubine.
"Lord Momonga, I know he is one the gaurdians, but can we trust him after the recent events that took place?" Albedo asking Momonga.
"I know you are concerned after everything that has happened. However, he is the Ghost of Nazarick, a Guardian and he will help us protect our home. That much I am certain. He will help find the ones responsible. Believe in him as I do him." Momonga replied while placeing a hand on Albedo shoulder to help reassure her.
"If Lord Momonga trusts him, then I will trust him as well." Feeling more at ease.
Momonga and Albedo head towards Madara and Rubine.
The rooftop
Madara sitting with one leg over the edge of the roof and Rubine sitting next to him. Madara was observing the view using Sharingan, could see that magic residue of the explosions throughout Nazarick.
"It is impressive this place is still standing after such an attack." Madara pointed out.
"Cause of explosion?" Rubine asked
"Unknown, we will need more information, better to ask Momonga about it." Madara replied.
"Dear." Rubine pointed them.
"Hmm" Madara looking in that direction to see Momonga and Albedo heading their way.
"Any clues?" Momonga ask Madara
"Only large amount of leftover magic from the explosion. A powerful and destructive item was used here." Madara replied.
"All the more reason we must recover them and the others." Momonga replied.
"Others? Well looks like you got our work cut out for you." Madara replied
"Indeed." Replied Momonga. Momonga and Albedo begain to walk of when he stop and ask Madara one last question.
"What do you think of this world?" Momonga asked Madara
"One cannot be certain of the world. People will talk of peace and crave war. Two sides of the same coin. However, this world seems a little peaceful for now." Madara replied.
After Momonga and Albedo, Madara took his mask off and directed his attention to the surrounding area. He decided to see what sort of beings were in surrounding area. Madara could feel strong magical energies in different countries. He simply smirks as he look forward to do battle with them. Madara turned and look at Rubine. The moon behind her, illuminated her figure. A light breeze blew, Rubine notice Madara looking in her direction, brush her hair backwards and smiled. Madara turned his head back the other direction and gave a small smile. He knew things would get interesting in the future.
Momonga in a room using a mirror to view other areas. Also in the room Madara and Rubine were also there discussion their next move and waitning further order from Momonga. Momonga came across a village that was under attack for reasons unknown. He was witnessing a helpless man begging for his daughter to be spared. Sebas asked him if he planned to intervene. Momonga felt there was no point get involved with the village and decided to ignore it. Momonga glanced at Sebas and was reminded about one of his friends that helps anyone in need of help regardless of the situation. Momonga then decided to intervene and uncovered the nature of the attack on the village. Wasting no time, he ordered Sebas to raise the security of Nazarick and have Albedo join on the battlefield. Momonga turned to Madara and Rubine.
"There may be some value in saving this village and finding a clue about our attacker." Momonga stated.
"Shall we make haste then." Madara replied and put his mask on and Rubine put her veil on as well.
In the mirror, a girl and her sister were running from two armored soliders inside a forest. The older sister was attacked from behind by the solider's sword. Momonga, Madara and Rubine went through a Gate that Momonga opened. The two solider stared at the pair of helpless sisters who were in fear of their life. They moved in for the kill when suddenly a gate opened in front of them and three figures walk out it. Madara and Rubine were first then Momoga. The soliders were not sure what was going, proceeded with the intent to kill. Madara without hesition threw his Hell Kunai at the armored soldier's head which pierced through helmet and landed on a nearby tree.
The body still twitching, was being held up by the chain was set ablaze in purple flames, then there was only ashes left. Madara then retracts the kunai. The other solider was stunned in fear by what he just witnesses. He then gathered his courage and charged at Rubine. Rubine without even blinking twitched her finger. Before the solider could even reach her, he was impaled by some weapon to his mid-section. The solider spit up blood, then struggled to look behind him to see a grim reaper. He let out a scream as the reaper lifts up the armored solider and slices him in half as the blood and guts smeared the ground red.
The older sister covers her younger sister's eyes at the brutal scene she witnessd. Momonga
looked to make used of the dead bodies and used an Intermediate undead summon on the bodies. They both then turn into Death Knights. Momonga ordered the Death Knights to save the villagers. The two take off without even thinking of protecting their summoner, Rubine sent an additional two reapers to assist the Death Knights. Albedo soon joined the group fully armored. Momonga then offered a healing potion to the wounded sister. The sisters are scared out of their mind.
Madara and Rubine simply watch the sister shake in fear. He doesn't blame them for being scared, anyone would be a little restless after what just happened. Momonga assured that it was just a healing potion and nothing more. The older sister accepted the potion and her wound was healed instantly after drinking it. Momonga then put a protective barrier around them and older sister a magic horn to summon goblins. The four then began to head to the village when the girl asked who they were.
"Thank you for saving us, who are you people?" The older sister asked them.
"Uchiha, Madara."
"Uchiha, Rubine."
"Ainz Ooal Gown."
They four headed in the direction of the village. Along the way, Ainz explained his reasoning for changing his name. Momonga was his past name and he wanted a new name. Along the way Ainz put on a mask and gloves to hide his skeletal feature. When they arrived at the village the Death Knight and Reaper took out most of the soldiers. When the four arrive, a few soldiers charged in at the four them. Rubine moved her finger and quickly enough, a reaper slice two soldier's head. Without looking at the incoming solider, Madara grabbed one solider by the neck and lifted him up with ease. The solider struggled to free himself and the next moment Madara simply snapped his neck and threw him to the side.
"You have two choices: leave this village and take your master with you or die a meaningless death along with your kingdom. Your choice." Ainz talking to the remaining soldiers.
The remaining solider took off in fear of their lives. Madara and Rubine sensing the area felt more intruders.
"Dear" Rubine called out to Madara.
"Hmm. Let them make the first move." Madara knowing that Rubine also feels the presence of more intruders
Ainz greeted the villager and informed them that they are safe now. The villagers bow and thank Ainz and the others for helping their village. Shortly after another group of men come to the village, however this group came to aide the village.
"I'm the Captians Knight. I've been sent here to deal with the knights attacking the surrounding villages. Are you the one who saved this village?" he asked the group.
"I'm Ainz Ooal Gown. A magic caster and my group happened to be in the area when this village was attacked." He answers.
The captain gets off his mount and thanks Ainz for saving the village. Ainz explains that it was not an issue and had a few other reasons for saving the village. A solider comes to the captain and informed him that a considerable number of enemies have surrounded the village. They were heavily outnumbered.
The Capitan knew they have no hope in winning but still made a resolve to protect the village no matter what. Madara ask the captain who exactly is this group and what is their objective. He informs Ainz and the group is known as the The Six Scripture. They are targeting him and seemed to have another goal that no one is aware of. Madara and Ainz looked at each other nodded in agreement. What they agree upon, is that this group must be captured alive and questioned, at least the leader. Before the caption left, he asked if Ainz could protect the village one last time. Ainz gave him his word that he would. Ainz admiring his courage, gave him a good luck charm before he took off.
"Why does he fight, knowing he won't win?" Rubine asked Madara
"Being in his positions, he has a responsibility to protect the people he has sworn to protect." Ainz informed Rubine.
"Responsibility? Project?" Rubine questioned
Madara thinking back to when he was leading his clan. The responsibility of leading the clan and protecting his younger brother. He understands the captain.
"After a certain point we will switch out with him" Ainz informed them.
"He doesn't realize how bad he is about to lose, does he?" Albeda asked.
"No, not yet" replied Ainz.
"At least we will have some entertainment before going in." Albedo replied.
They went into one of the buildings were they will switch places. Rubine made a sphere to view the battle that was about to take place between the Captain Knight and Six scripture.
"Now le'ts see how strong your resolve is, Knight Captain." Ainzs stated while looking into the magical sphere.
