Melissa was alone at the owl house when she heard a knock at the door.
She opened it and saw her Gwendolyn.
"Gwendolyn good to see you." Melissa said.
"Melissa it's been ages. All grown up." Gwendolyn said.
"Yep. So what brings you here." Melissa asked.
"Oh I was visiting Edalyn." Gwendolyn said "I see she's not here."
"She's at the market." Melissa said.
"Oh thanks. By the way how have you been?" Gwendolyn asked.
"Oh well I've been living in the human world. But some things have happened there. My husband got murdered and my daughter was kidnapped." Melissa said.
"Oh I'm sorry to hear that." Gwendolyn said.
"Thanks." Melissa said.
"I best be getting home. Bye." Gwendolyn said leaving.
Later Luz and the others returned.
"Aunt Melissa I just had the best day. I went to a covention and had my first witch duel." Luz said.
"Great." Melissa said.
Meanwhile Alaric was in his lair planning.
"Soon the isles will be under my control." Alaric said.
