Hello and welcome to another chapter of speed! Enjoy and leave suggestions if you want.

It had been nearly a week since the particle accelerator explosions and Camila was struggling to find any signs of others like her and Raine while Lilith was still in custody despite being one of Raine's victims and Eda was still struggling to deal with the fact that her now Ex was a criminal.

"I know Raine better than anyone else they couldn't have done something like this." Camila thought about telling Eda the truth behind it but she didn't want to lose another friend so she stayed silent.

The two then walked into a local deli. "Come on maybe a triple Philly cheesesteak with getting your mind off it." "Your paying," Eda told her as the two waited in line as a hooded figure shoved them out of the way.

"Hey!, get in line!" Eda shouted to them as the figure then started to shake a bit before placing their hands on the counter as it started glowing till it exploded sending splinters everywhere as Camila quickly dashed around getting people away from the blast before getting a few pieces of wood lodged into her.

Camila hissed a bit before seeing the perpetrator quickly put on gloves before shoving money and a sandwich in their pockets as they rushed out. "Eda stay down and call 911." "Cam you have splinters all over you!" Eda exclaimed only to find Camila gone.

Despite the painful injuries Camila was now in her outfit running at high speed before stopping in front of the perpetrator and grabbing their arm. "OK care to explain why you just bombed a local business?" "I... help me..."

Camila was confused by what they were saying as she took the gloves off them as the bomber started to freak out. "Hey it's alright I'm not going to hurt you." "Just stay away from me!"

They said before shoving Camila to the floor before gasping. "Take it off your outfit." "And why should I..."

Camila then saw her outfit was glowing and flashing. "What did you..." "Five, four..." Camila then quickly rushed into an alleyway and tossed away her suit as it exploded sending her back a bit before she then ran home to her room and put whatever she had available in her dresser drawer which was a pink t-shirt with a unicorn on it and jeans. "Could have been worse."

"Camilla!" Her mother shouted before hugging her. "Eda told me what happened, thank God you're alright." "How's sis?"

Her mother cried a bit. "Maria she's still fighting like the fighter she is but she's low on her blood count, your father and I have given our share but... you share the same blood type as her so her recovery should be quicker if you would just..."

"NO!" Camila yelled as her mother gasped. "Camila she's your..." "Sister, I get it but I'm not giving her any of my blood." "Camila Noceda!, Maria has been protecting and caring for you since you were brought into this world you owe her."

"No, I don't," Camila said before walking out of her room. "And where are you going, young lady?!" "To see a friend who understands me."

Camila said before slamming the front door and speeding off.

Central City Police Department

Lilith was sitting in a cell as an officer walked in and lead her to a desk where Camila was waiting. "Cam!" Lilith then hugged her as the two then sat down to talk. "So you encountered one of them?" "Unfortunately yes and we might need more fabric cause the outfit... exploded..."

Lilith had a face of both laughter and shock. "So you're dealing with a walking bomb?" "In a way, but it's almost like they're afraid of themselves."

Lilith then thought for a few seconds before saying "Bette..." "Eda's prank friend? What about her?" "Cam when the particle accelerator exploded she had bits of metal shrapnel in her along with a bit of explosive powder in her pockets..."

Camila then stood up. "Eda always took the blame for her every time there was a small explosion she'd be the first one to go to."

"Well don't just stand there, run!" Lilith shouted as Camila did.

At Clawthorne's house, Eda was sitting at the table with her phone waiting for Camila to answer. "Please Camila if you're hearing this just call me back please." Then there was a knock on the door as Eda opened it to find Bette. "Eda..." The orange-haired teen then hugged her as Bette then walked inside. "So Bette why are you here?" "You the only one who's helped me and I think I'm in deep trouble."

"What you blew up a car?" "No, not yet." "Yet?" Eda said in confusion as Bette then took off one of her gloves before grabbing an apple that glowed as she tossed it out before it exploded. "OK what was that?!" "Somethings wrong with me... my tests showed I had shrapnel deep inside me that they couldn't remove without killing me then when I left the hospital I started gaining this... this..."

Bette then sat on the floor crying. "I just want my life back!" She screamed as Eda comforted her. "Shh it's alright, I'm sure Lily has something we can use in the basement." She said as she tried to open the lock to the basement as Bette simply held it with her hand as it exploded and Eda then lifted the door, the two of them then walked in seeing the small lab set up.

"Well looks like she's been busy for a while," Eda said while reading the stack of comics on the floor as Bette looked around and saw the news display. "So she's a fan of this "Blur" character?" "Who?"

Eda then saw and read the front page of the framed papers. "Weird she was never into that stuff even after all the stories our grandparents told us but..." "Eda then smirked to which Bette noticed. "Oh no I know that look on your face, what is it?"

"Why hide from the public when you can show them what you can do." "Uh... I don't think my abilities are "lifesaving" ." "Not yet, and I'm sure Lily would be happy to help us."

Camila had made it to the front of the house to find the door knocked over as she looked around. "EDA?" "Cam down here." Camila ten went to the basement where Eda and Bette were. "Oh, your alright!" "Yeah anyway uh cam you remember Bette right?" "Yeah."

Bette simply waved while hugging Camila with her gloved hands as Eda took a roll of fabric and put it in her backpack. "Anyway, we should get going." "Yeah, and try to catch the news tomorrow will you?"

"Sure?" Camila said with confusion as the two girls then walked out while Camila grabbed a sewing machine and went to get more fabric only to find an entire roll of it gone as she remembered Bette's words. "Oh no..."
