A Week & A Half Later:

Tohru and Hatori eventually told everyone about them being together. For the most part, everyone seemed to support them—everyone except Kyo.

Flashbacks:

Uo, Kureno & Hana:

"Who would you like to tell first?" Hatori asked, looking at Tohru.

"Uo, Hana, and Kureno. Uo and Kureno are usually always together—so it make sense to tell them together. Also, it would be best to tell them first because Uo and Kureno are nine years apart; they'd be the ones to understand the most, don't you think?" Tohru answered and then asked with a smile.

"Yes, that does make sense. What of your friend, Saki Hanajima?" Hatori asked, watching Tohru.

"I think she'd be happy for us; she always says she just wants me to be happy." Tohru replied.

"Ok. We'll start with them. Go ahead and call them over." Hatori told Tohru with a soft smile; he was just happy she was happy—and not pushing herself too much.

"Okey-dokey." Tohru replied with a happy smile, giggling a little.

"Hello?" Arisa asked, answering the phone.

"Hello, Uo-chan." Tohru happily greeted.

"Oh, hey, Tohru. How are you feeling today?" Arisa asked right away.

"I'm doing great. Actually, Hatori and I were wondering if you and Kureno could come over so we could talk. I'm going to call Hana-chan as well and ask her." Tohru happily answered and then asked.

"Don't worry about calling Hana; she's on her way here already. We were actually going to stop by after a little bit. You want Kureno to come with as well?" Uo replied and then asked, kind of shocked.

"Oh, yes; it's very important." Tohru calmly answered.

"Ok; we'll be over within the hour." Uo firmly replied, a bit suspicious.

"Ok. See you soon." Tohru cheerfully replied as they hung up.

"I'm taking it they're coming over?" Hatori asked with a smile, watching Tohru.

"Yes. Oh, I'd better make snacks; Hana loves snacks." Tohru excitedly answered and then stated.

Half an Hour Later:

Knock. Knock. Knock. Knock. Knock.

Arisa knocked on the door until Tohru opened up and welcomed them in—now, a bit nervous.

"Would you like some tea?" Hatori asked, pouring tea.

"Yeah, sure." Arisa replied, going to sit down.

"Tea would be nice." Hana and Kureno politely agreed.

"So, what's so urgent that we all had to be here at the same time?" Arisa asked after a few minutes.

"Yes, why? Is everything all right?" Hana asked right away.

"Well, umm… Yes…" Tohru nervously started, stumbling on her words—until Hatori stood next to her.

"Oh, I see. Congratulations, you two!" Arisa happily congratulated, picking it up right away—as did Hana.

"Yes, congratulations." Hana congratulated with a smile.

"How long have you been a couple?" Kureno asked after a few minutes—finally understanding.

"A month and a week." Hatori happily answered.

"Congratulations! You'd better treat her better than Carrots ever did." Arisa congratulated again before sternly warned.

"And if you ever hurt her, there will be consequences." Hana rather darkly warned, making Hatori shrink away. Hana was the only person/thing that scared him. Well, that and losing Tohru.

"Well, let's party!" Arisa happily exclaimed.

"Yes. Tohru, do we have snacks?" Hana asked, watching Tohru.

"Oh, yes." Tohru happily replied, walking to the kitchen and then returned with rice balls.

Shigure & Akito:

When it came time to telling Shigure and Akito, Hatori and Tohru went to them.

"What brings you to us?" Akito and Shigure asked, somewhat annoyed; they were just about to be intimate.

"We just had some news we wanted to share." Hatori calmly replied.

"And what would that be?" Akito asked, annoyed.

"Hatori and I are a couple." Tohru slowly answered.

"Oh. Well, congratulations." Akito congratulated, kind of shocked.

"It's about damn time." Shigure stated, annoyed; he was super horny and desperately wanted his goddess.

"Thank you." Tohru and Hatori thanked at the same time—in different tones:

Tohru was genuinely happy.

Hatori was a bit—disturbed.

"You're welcome. Now get out." Akito ordered, sexually frustrated.

"Bye." Tohru happily bid farewell, waving while Hatori ushered her out.

"What do you think they're doing that they wanted us out so much?" Tohru asked, confused, causing Hatori to place his hand over his face.

"They're going to have sex." Hatori plainly answered.

"Oh." Tohru replied, understanding, blushing.

"Haven't you and Kyo had sex before?" Hatori asked, looking at Tohru.

"No; I was never ready. I suppose that's what pushed him away." Tohru sadly answered.

"Well, it's his loss. So, you're still a virgin?" Hatori asked, watching Tohru—a million different thoughts racing through his head.

"Yes." Tohru answered, blushing like crazy.

"Well—eventually, his loss will be my gain. But only when you're ready." Hatori firmly yet calmly told Tohru, causing her to nervously giggle a little.

Haru & Rin:

Haru and Rin were having sex when Tohru and Hatori showed up—at home.

"Sorry!" Tohru exclaimed, embarrassed, running out of the living room.

"What are you doing having sex in my house? Why are you having sex in my house?" Hatori asked, flabbergasted and annoyed.

"We thought you were going to be gone longer." Haru admitted, annoyed.

"That made it alright?" Hatori asked, looking at the two.

"Well—at least you weren't home." Rin stated in a tone that annoyed Hatori even more.

"Well—I'm going to need a new couch." Hatori sighed before he went to check up on Tohru.

"So—are you and Tohru dating now?" Haru asked as he and Rin got dressed.

"Yes, we are." Hatori calmly answered.

"Well, congratulations." Haru and Rin congratulated with smiles.

"At least he's better than the cat." Rin mumbled under her breath.

"Eh, I don't know. Kyo's pretty good in bed. Oh, don't worry; I'm kidding. Or am I? Yes, I'm kidding! I'm sorry! I only have love and eyes for you." Haru stated with a stupid grin, causing Rin and Hatori to just stare at him in disbelief. He, of course, quickly apologized when Rin started hitting him over the head.

"Thanks." Hatori replied before he found Tohru sitting on the floor, blushing like crazy.

"Tohru are you alright?" Hatori asked, kneeling in front of her.

"I'm sorry." Tohru apologized, still embarrassed.

"It's ok; you have nothing to be sorry for. They're the ones who shouldn't be having sex in our home." Hatori sternly told Tohru.

"I'm still sorry." Tohru apologized, embarrassed.

"Haven't you seen us naked enough times already?" Haru asked, watching Tohru.

"You're not helping." Hatori stated, annoyed.

"I always look away." Tohru softly answered.

"Didn't you see Kyo's when you two did it?" Haru asked again.

"We've never had sex." Tohru answered, turning very red.

"Really? He said you two had sex often." Rin informed, shocked.

"No. We've never had sex!" Tohru exclaimed, becoming upset.

"Tohru, it's ok. Relax. If you become upset like this, Kyo wins." Hatori insisted, rubbing Tohru's back.

"I'm sorry." Rin apologized, slightly embarrassed.

"It's ok; it's not your fault." Tohru softly insisted.

"But I shouldn't have believed him." Rin stated, annoyed at herself.

"How could you not have known; they were together for years." Haru noted, stating a fact.

"That's enough; you're stressing Tohru out." Hatori scolded, sitting next to Tohru, trying to comfort her.

"We'll just let ourselves out. Sorry about everything." Haru apologized; he was so ready to beat the crap out of Kyo.

"Sorry, Tohru." Rin apologized again before she and Haru left—probably to have sex somewhere—and then find Kyo.

Kisa & Hiro:

"What's going on?" Hiro asked, annoyed as he and Kisa stood in Hatori's and Tohru's living room.

"Tohru and I are dating." Hatori answered right away, knowing how nervous Tohru got around Hiro.

"Yay!" Kisa happily exclaimed before hugging both Hatori and Tohru.

"Well, congratulations." Hiro congratulated, somewhat shocked; he actually had some respect for Tohru now—just some.

"When did this start?" Kisa excitedly asked.

"Yeah, I'd like to know this as well." Hiro agreed in that tone of his.

"A month and a week." Tohru happily answered.

"I'm so happy for you two." Kisa told Tohru and Hatori with a huge smile; she liked Hatori way more for Tohru than Kyo.

"Thank you." Tohru happily thanked Kisa, hugging her.

"Yeah—I guess I'm happy for you as well. I mean, I'm happier for Hatori, but I'm happy for you too." Hiro told them, looking at Tohru.

"Thank you." Tohru thanked with a smile; she had a feeling she was finally growing on Hiro.

"You're so welcome!" Kisa happily exclaimed, hugging Tohru—again.

"Yeah, you're welcome." Hiro agreed, looking down, red in the face.

"So—when are you going to get married?" Kisa softly asked, causing Hatori to spit out his coffee.

"Oh—probably not for a while. But maybe eventually—hopefully." Tohru babbled a little at the question.

"Well, I hope you do." Kisa pushed with a soft smile.

"Whatever. Can we go now?" Hiro asked, annoyed with all this lovey-dovey talk.

"Ok. Let's go to the park." Kisa accepted Hiro's request, looking at him.

"Ok." Hiro sighed, dragging Kisa out; he just couldn't get out of there fast enough.

"Well, they seem happy for us." Hatori stated, sitting in his chair.

"Yes; I agree." Tohru responded with a smile, sitting on Hatori's lap.

"Who's next?" Hatori asked, pulling Tohru to him.

"Hmm… I don't know. Maybe we should take a break for the day and start again tomorrow." Tohru suggested.

"That sounds like an excellent idea." Hatori agreed.

"Oh, but what about work?" Tohru asked, concerned.

"I have a short day tomorrow; I'll be home by one." Hatori told Tohru.

"Ok. Who do we have left?" Tohru softly asked.

"Hmm… Kagura and her boyfriend, Momiji, Ritsu and Mitsuru, Ayame, and Mine—and Kyo if you want him to know." Hatori answered, pulling Tohru to him.

"I don't know about Kyo." Tohru softly admitted.

"That's fine. We'll do whatever you're comfortable with. Now, come here." Hatori told Tohru before pulling her into a deep kiss.

Kagura & Koji:

They had a hard time reaching Kagura as she and her new boyfriend, Koji, were always out. But they found them—with the help of Rin.

"So, what's up? What's so important that Koji and I had to put our plans on hold?" Kagura asked as they stood there in the middle of a field.

"We just wanted to tell you that we're dating now." Hatori calmly replied.

"Congratulations. Tohru, don't let him go; Hatori is a good one. But then again; I thought Kyo was a good one too. Oh, well. Hatori's a good guy." Kagura congratulated Tohru and Hatori before sternly telling Tohru, watching her.

"That's enough; she already feels bad enough as is." Hatori scolded Kagura, annoyed.

"Sorry." Kagura apologized before she hugged Tohru.

"I don't mean to intrude on your love fest. And I mean no offence—but isn't he a little too old for you? Don't you wanna date someone closer to your age?" Koji asked, looking at Tohru.

"No; I'm very happy with Hatori. And my mom and dad were nine years apart. Mom always said age was just a number, and that love is all that matters." Tohru answered with a smile.

"Ok." Koji sighed; he knew he wasn't going to win this argument.

"Come on, Koji; let's go and have some fun." Kagura insisted with a mischievous smile.

"Ok." Koji agreed with a smile, leading the way.

"See you later!" Kagura called, waving back at Tohru and Hatori, smiling from ear to ear.

"What am I going to do with these people?" Hatori asked himself, shaking his head while Tohru stood there, waving back to Kagura, smiling.

Momiji:

"Yes, how may I help you? Oh, Hatori, Tohru; what brings you here?" Momiji asked, looking at Tohru and Hatori after opening his front door.

"We came to talk; is Nami here as well?" Tohru kindly asked.

"N; she had to go home to get ready for her final year of school." Momiji answered, letting them in.

"Oh, I see. I forgot she was still in school." Tohru replied with a smile.

"Oh, yes. But after this year, we'll be able to spend every second of the day together. Where are my manners? Sit. Sit. So, what brings you two over here—together?" Momiji insisted before curiously asking—even though he already had an idea.

"We just have some news." "We're dating." Hatori calmly started until Tohru happily finished; she thought he wasn't going fast enough.

"Yes! I knew it! I knew it! And now you're pregnant?" Momiji happily exclaimed and then asked.

"No, we're not pregnant." Hatori replied in disbelief.

"We're not even having sex yet." Tohru added, very red in the face.

"Oh, I see. Well, congratulations! I'm so happy for you two! But, what about Kyo; does he know yet?" Momiji asked, curious.

"No, he doesn't know—not that it's any of his business. But I'm sure he'll find out one way or another. And when he does, we'll talk to him." Hatori firmly answered, watching Momiji.

"Yes, I agree." Tohru spoke with a smile.

"That's so great." Momiji happily cheered.

"Thank you." Tohru happily thanked. At the same time, Hatori shook his head; she didn't get it.

"So, Tohru—what is sex like? Eh? Eh? Eh?" Momiji mischievously asked, winking a few times.

"Uh… I wouldn't know; Kyo and I've never done it either." Tohru answered, red in the face.

"Really? Kyo was bragging about you two always did it—every chance you two got." Momiji stated, not realizing how much it was hurting Tohru. "Momiji, that's enough. Tohru, everything's going to be ok." Hatori stopped him before pulling her into a hug.

"I don't understand why he's telling everyone that!" Tohru cried.

"I'm sorry, Tohru." Momiji apologized, upset.

"Kyo's just Kyo; he's petty. One way or another, we'll find out why." Hatori gently told Tohru, holding her in his arms.

"And we'll beat the answer out of him!" Momiji declared, making a fist.

"Wahhh!" Tohru spazzed.

"Just kidding." Momiji retorted.

"So, now what? Would you like something to eat or drink?" Momiji politely asked, changing the subject before Hatori could scold him.

"Oh, no thank you." Tohru replied with a small smile.

"We still have to tell Ayame and Ritsu." Hatori stated, dreading those conversations.

"Oohh! Have fun with that." Momiji somewhat mocked, knowing how both Ritsu and Ayame were.

"We will." Tohru said with a happy smile as Hatori once again shook his head.

Knowing Ayame and Mine and Ritsu and Mitsuru, Hatori wanted just to call them. However, Tohru insisted on seeing them in person because she hadn't seen Ritsu in some time. So, Hatori gave into Tohru, and off they went.

Ritsu & Mitsuru:

"Oh, Hatori and Tohru. What a pleasant surprise. Unless of course, you made plans to see us, and we forgot! Oh, no! I'm so sorry!" Ritsu greeted and then freaked out.

"No! I'm so sorry for not marking it down or checking our day planner!" Mitsuru spazzed.

"No, we didn't make plans beforehand. I'm sorry for just dropping in on you like this. We just wanted to tell you something." Tohru explained and apologized, bowing a little.

"Oh, of course. Our apologies. Please, come in. Are you staying long?" Ritsu and Mitsuru invited Hatori and Tohru in before asking.

"Maybe a little bit." Hatori replied, shocking Ritsu.

"You said you had news?" Mitsuru asked with a small smile.

"Yes. Hatori and I are now dating." Tohru politely informed.

"Oh, that's so great. We're so happy for you!" Ritsu and Mitsuru calmly started before happily exclaiming—and then:

"I'm so sorry! We don't mean to scream at you like that! We just wanted to congratulate you! But we were too loud! I'M SORRY! We're sorry for being so happy for you!" Ritsu and Mitsuru apologized, crying—more Ritsu than Mitsuru, but she was still crying as well.

"Maybe we should call Shigure over; he can usually calm Ritsu down." Tohru suggested.

"NOOO! Please! Not him! Anything or anyone but the Devil!" Mitsuru panicked, having flashbacks.

"O-k?" Tohru asked, unsure.

"Never mind her; she and Shigure didn't get along too well." Hatori calmly explained, rolling his eyes.

'That poor woman. I can't blame her—not with his antics.' Hatori thought to himself.

"Would you like some tea?" Ritsu calmly asked.

"Tea would be nice, thank you, Ritsu." Tohru replied with a smile.

Four Hours Later:

We're sooo sorry for keeping you so late!" Ritsu and Mitsuru called to Hatori and Tohru as they walked away.

They stayed longer than planned and had dinner with Ritsu, Mitsuru, and Ritsu's parents.

"You know—since you've come around, Ritsu's not as bad about apologizing as he used to be." Hatori told Tohru as they walked away from Ritsu and Mitsuru's home.

"Oh, I don't think I did anything special." Tohru replied with a smile.

'Modest—as always.' Hatori thought to himself with a smile.

Ayame & Mine:

"Are you ok?" Tohru asked, watching Hatori pop some aspirin.

"Yeah. I just have a headache from all the yelling." Hatori honestly answered.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Maybe we should call and reschedule with Ayame and Mine." Tohru suggested.

"No. I have a normal day's work tomorrow; I can't afford a headache then. We'll just go and get it over with now. Besides, I know Ayame; if we try to reschedule, he'll question every reason why. And if we tell him I have a headache, he'll come over and insist on playing doctor—in one of those ridiculous outfits." Hatori insisted.

"Ok." Tohru replied with a small smile that Hatori loved.

"Before we turn that corner, let me do one thing first." Hatori insisted, stopping Tohru before they could turn the corner that led to Ayame and Mine's shop.

"Yes?" Tohru softly asked, leaning into Hatori's embrace, thinking she knew what he wanted.

And she was right; Hatori leaned in and gently kissed her:

Once

Twice

Three

Fourth

And then it happened:

"Oh, my! What have we here?!" Ayame and Mine asked, gasping at the sight before them.

'Damnit… Why did they have to just walk around the corner like that? What are they—fucking psychic? He always seems to know when I'm near.' Hatori thought to himself, annoyed; he was enjoying the feel and taste of Tohru's lips.

"Hi, Ayame." Tohru softly greeted, embarrassed, pulling away from Hatori.

"Don't just, "Hi, Ayame" me. What's going on here? What is our favorite doctor doing out at this time of night, kissing our favorite flower princess?" Ayame boisterously demanded, closing in on Hatori and Tohru.

"Yeah. Why? Huh? Huh? Huh?" Mine questioned with a magnifying glass.

'Oh, Mom—maybe Hatori was right, and we should've called Ayame and Mine instead.' Tohru thought as her head started spinning due to Ayame and Mine's craziness.

"Hi Ayame; it's good to see you too. Yes, we're good, how are you?" Hatori told Ayame in a bored tone.

"We're fantastic. But this isn't about us; it's about you too. Are you trying to get back at Kyo? Don't do it! You're much too good for that dastardly cat!" Ayame dramatically told Tohru, pulling her into his embrace.

"Hey!" Hatori exclaimed, annoyed that Ayame just pulled Tohru away from him. He wishes he could be surprised, but not much with Ayame surprises him anymore.

"No, don't do it, Dear Tohru! There are so many better men out there for you!" Mine followed in Ayame's wake, taking Tohru's hands in hers, dramatically pleading with her.

"That's enough, you two. No, that wasn't to get back or for her to try to get back with him. The reason we came to see and talk to you is the same reason Tohru and I were kissing like that. Jeez. Tohru and I are dating." Hatori calmly explained, pulling a frantically paralyzed Tohru away from them.

Five Minutes Later:

'Wow. I should've said something like this before—years ago. This is the longest he's been quiet. He's not even this quiet in his sleep; the guy talks nonstop. If I hadn't heard it for myself, I don't know if I'd believe he's worse when het talks in his sleep.' Hatori thought to himself, watching Ayame and Mine standing there, stunned, mouths agape.

"Oh, my God! This is so amazing! It's such great news! Why didn't you say anything sooner? I mean, I am one of your best friends, aren't I? Of course, I am! No one can take the bond we have away! Mine, we must get to work straight away! Master Hatori and Princess Tohru must have the most perfect outfits for their wedding and everything!" Ayame determinedly declared with a fiery aura.

"Yes, of course! And we mustn't forget the honeymoon outfits!" Mine happily agreed,

"Oh, but of course, my dear Mine; you've read my mind! We will throw them the perfect wedding! Come on, Mine; we must get started! Hahahaha!" Ayame happily announced to the entire street corner—where several people stopped to stare.

"Coming!" Mine happily followed Ayame—both of them ignoring Hatori and Tohru.

"They're so…" Tohru started, unsure how to form her words.

"They're lunatics. Come on, Tohru; let's go home." Hatori insisted.

"Ok." Tohru agreed, still not sure of what to say.

Fifteen Minutes Later:

They had just arrived home, and Tohru went to sit on the couch.

"Wait here, and I'll find a movie." Hatori instructed, watching Tohru.

"Ok." Tohru replied, stifling a yawn.

A Few Minutes Later:

When Hatori came back out with a movie, he stopped to stare at Tohru, who had fallen asleep—half sitting on the couch with her arms and head on the arm of the couch.

"You really are a silly girl." Hatori chuckled, looking at Tohru with a smile as she slept.

It was late at night—and Ritsu, Mitsuru, Ayame, and Mine were—tiresome.

Hatori set the movie on his coffee table before lifting Tohru into his arms. He carried her to her room for the night and put her to bed.

"I love you—so very much." Hatori told a sleeping Tohru with a smile before gently kissing her forehead; he watched her for about half an hour before going to bed himself.

Two Days Later:

Kyo:

Knock. Knock. Knock. Bang! Bang! Bang!

Someone went from calmly knocking on the front door to angrily banging on it.

"Hello? Oh, Kyo. What brings you here?" Tohru softly asked after opening the door and saw who was standing there.

"Is it true?" Kyo demanded, pissed off.

"Is what true?" Tohru softly asked, confused.

"You and Hatori! You're dating him? Tell me it's not true!" Kyo snapped, still pissed off. However, this time, he roughly grabbed Tohru by her arm and started dragging her outside.

"Oww! Kyo, you're hurting me!" Tohru cried, suddenly afraid; Kyo had never acted like this before.

"Answer the damn question!" Kyo yelled in Tohru's face, squeezing her wrist harder before pinning her to the door.

"Tohru, are you ok? Who was at the door? Tohru? Hey! Leave her alone!" Hatori, after hearing the commotion, walked out of his office. Once he saw that Kyo had Tohru pinned to the sliding door to the backyard, he immediately ran over.

"Is it true?" Kyo demanded of Hatori, letting Tohru go.

Once Kyo let her go, Tohru fell to her knees, holding her wrist with tears in her eyes.

"Is what true?" Hatori asked, stepping in front of Tohru.

"Are you two are dating? Kagura's boyfriend, Koji or whatever his name is, told me." Kyo clarified what he wanted to be answered.

"Yes, it's true; we're dating." Hatori firmly answered, looking Kyo directly in the eyes.

"So, are you two having sex?" Kyo asked, looking from Hatori to Tohru.

"No." Tohru answered, becoming upset, tears running down her cheeks.

"Even if we were: what does it matter to you?" Hatori asked, blocking Tohru from Kyo.

"That's just disgusting! You're ten years older than her!" Kyo shot back.

"Mom and Dad were about ten years apart." Tohru softly spoke up.

"That was way back in the day! Now, in this day and age, that's just disgusting!" Kyo yelled.

"Not as disgusting as your attitude." Yuki stated, walking over with Haru, Shigure, Akito, and Ayame.

"Whatever. I'm out of here. Find me when you realize he's too old for you." Kyo coldly told Tohru as he started to leave.

"No." Tohru softly but firmly spoke up.

"What was that?" Kyo asked, turning around, stunned.

"I will not come find you because there will be no need to. I will not realize Hatori is too old for me because he isn't. Mom and Dad were almost ten years apart and were very happy together. Uo and Kureno are nine years apart and are very happy together. Age is just a number. But love is love—and I love Hatori with all my heart. And one day—when I'm ready, I'll give him my virginity." Tohru firmly asserted, standing up for herself, shocking everyone there.

"We'll see about that." Kyo muttered, turning to leave.

"Wait!" Tohru called.

"Tohru, let him go; he's not worth anything." Yuki insisted.

"No. He got to ask his question and got an answer. Now, it's my turn. I want to know why you told everyone we "did it" when we never did. I was never ready. So, why? Why did you tell everyone that? Why are you being like this? You promised you'd never hurt me like this—you promised Mom. So, why are you doing this?" Tohru asked, watching Kyo, tears in her eyes. She wanted—no; she needed to know why Kyo was acting like this.

"That's two questions, Dummy." Kyo rudely retorted.

"Just answer her." Haru snapped.

"You want to know why. Well, here's your answer: Why not?" And with that, Kyo was gone.

"Why not?" Tohru asked, confused and hurt, sinking to her knees.

"Tohru…" Hatori started, kneeling in front of the distressed girl.

"I'll be ok; I have you and the others. So yes, I meant everything I told Kyo: I love you, Hatori Sohma, with all my heart. Love is love and age is just a number." Tohru firmly told Hatori, looking directly into his eyes.

Hatori was too stunned to speak, so he did the first thing he could think of. He lifted Tohru's chin to him and kissed her very passionately; she eagerly responded.

At that moment, nobody else was there; Tohru and Hatori were in their own little world—just the two of them. They weren't aware of the cheers and woots they were receiving from the others…
