Sasuke Meets Naruto: I Really Don't Like You!

"...Hmph. Looks like the face of a Loser to me~" a grumbling mutter sounded from a sleeping Sasuke...who clearly wasn't sleeping anymore.

The blonde student called Naruto twitched and raised his fist in tune with his loud voice.

"All right, who was it!?" he snapped,"Who's the wise guy that said that!? Huh?"

"Kyaaaahhh~ Sasuke~!" One could practically hear the hearts in their eyes as the girls squealed while Saseme'soh-so-popular twin brother entered the scene with a yawn.

"Hmph...what, you think you can step up to me wise guy!?" Naruto huffed.

"No thanks~" said Sasuke as he sat back into the seat infront of his sister, "I'll just take you sitting down." he smirked and leaned back on his arms to rest his feet on the desk.

"Saasukeee~" the girls squealed,"You're so cool~!"

"Mr. Uchiha." Neji huffed,"Glad to see you have finally decided to join us in the waking world again I see." he stated,"Just because you are an Uchiha doesn't justify for the rest of the class to have to wait on the likes of you."

"My bad~" Sasuke shrugged as he leaned his head back to meet Saseme's eyes. Stone faced as usual. He was her twin, but sometimes, even she couldn't tell what he was thinking. Yet at the same time, She also felt that he was seeing the things she never talked about. He was one person who could read her without much effort, and if she didn't tred carefully he would know something was wrong.

"Damn...this guy thinks he's so cool." Naruto muttered, "What a pain in the ass."

"Uzumaki Naruto, perhaps you could take the empty seat next to Saseme?"

"O-Oh...the empty one?" Hinata blinked.

"Yes, Hinata, is that a problem for you?"

"O-Oh, no problem, i-it's just..."

That's next to my seat...

Hinata shifted her eyes nervously between the blonde newbie and her empty seat.

"Very well then." Neji blinked,"Have your seats now."

"R-Right..." Hinata nodded and swallowed nervously,"U-Uhm...pardon me, Naruto-kun...if your could just follow..."

"Huh?" Naruto blinked,"Oh, uh, yeah, sure." The shy Hyuuga girl carefully lead Naruto down her aisle and slid into her seat which was one over from Saseme's, placing Naruto in the middle of them both.

Sasuke sent glares in Naruto's direction and the blonde was just as excited to return them.

"Hmph...not exactly thrilled to be so close to you though..."

"Believe me, Loser the feeling's mutual." Sasuke muttered back. Saseme could feel the static rising between the two which made her all the more uneasy...

She was never one to do well with confrontation...

Upon instinct Gaara moved closer to her protectively.

As a nervous tick, she kept her head down, trembling slightly as she continued to try straightening out the damaged page in her sketchbook trying not to cry.

"Hey...Saseme-chan..." Gaara spoke to her in a gentle tone,"I don't think you're gonna be able to straighten it...maybe you should just...re-draw it...?"

"B-But..."

Sasuke blinked as he shifted his eyes between his sister and her damaged art piece.

"Saseme..." he called to her, forcing her attention up to him,"...What happened to you sketchbook?" he asked.

"O-Oh uh...I...it's nothing..." She said softly, continuing to try and rub out the page,"I just...dropped it...that's all." Though, she was pretty certain her brother didn't believe her. He just continued to stare, as though trying to read her.

Oh, Saseme-chan...

Hinata blinked thinking to herself shyly as the girl deliberately avoided her gaze, to hide from the pity in her face.

"Hmmm..." Naruto hummed with curiosity, drilling his blue eyes into Saseme for a moment before turning to my Hinata to ask her.

"Hey...Your name is, Hinata, right?"

She gasped softly as her cheeks tinted a little pink.

"Well?"

"O-Oh uhm...I mean y-yes it is."

"That girl..." he nudged toward the frantic dark haired student. Head down, hanging over the smeared lines of a bad sketch,"...You know her?"

"Ah...yes, she's...She is Saseme." Hinata answered softly,"She's my...best friend..."

"Yeah?" he blinked.

"Uhm...yes, she's also...uhm..." Hinata gulped, "...Sasuke's twin sister..." she said softly motioning her eyes toward the Uchiha male to signify to Naruto who "Sasuke" was.

Though it didn't take much. The Twins looked very much like each other...theeir relation was obvious.

Naruto twitched.

"Twin? To that guy?" he leered over at Sasuke and groaned,"...in that case I feel bad for what she must have to deal with that guy all the time..." he muttered.

"O-Oh...it's nothing like that." Hinata stammered,"They...get along pretty well I think..." she blinked, "She uhm..." she gulped and blinked, shifting her gaze between the two," She's an artist...kind of quiet and keeps to herself but...she...she's really nice once you get to know her-"

"Hey." he said firmly grasping Saseme's attention which brought out a startled squeak from Hinata,"...Let me see that." he swiped away her sketchbook so quickly, she didn't even know how to react, and he began to rub it down as well,"If we can get most of the wrinkles out...then put something heavy on it...it might flatten out." he said.

She didn't know how to respond. His enterance left a feel of intimidation at first...but he actually seemed... kind of nice...

"Huh...so...you drew this, yeah?" he asked.

"O-Oh, uh-" she choked a little. It was odd for Saseme when people made conversation with her if they weren't someone she already knew...

"Y-Yes...I did."

"...I see...heh." he chuckled and gave a cheeky grin,"This is pretty cool...Saseme, yeah?"

"Th-That's right."

"HaHa...well...even with the wrinkles...it's not so bad, though, You could have a better model." he grinned,"How about you draw me instead?"

It was at that moment that a familiar fist knocked the blonde on the head with a heard punch.

Her brother's.

"Here's a better thought..." Sasuke growled,"How about, you stay away from my sister...got that?" as the bell for lunch was nearing to ring, Saseme's brother quickly swiped away the sketchbook and snapped it shut.

"Hey!" Naruto snapped,"I was just tryin' ta help you don't need to bite my head off!"

"My sister doesn't need your kind of help." Sasuke snipped as he shoved the book somewhat forcibly against Saseme's chest and took her wrist to help her stand.

"Come on, Saseme." he stated,"We're going now."

"But Sasuke, the bell-"

Though it wasn't long after that the bell for lunch rang out and she was being dragged away, followed by Gaara Trotting in tow to keep up.

"I...I'm sorry..." Hinata said softly.

"Huh? for what?" Naruto blinked.

"I...I should have warned you...Sasuke...tends to get a little protective over Saseme."

"Yeah...that's obvious." Naruto huffed a sigh.

That damn Sasuke...

He thought to himself.

Day's not even over yet...and I can already tell that I'm not gonna like him!
