Gathering Support

Sasuke sat in irritation with his chopsticks between his lips on the school roof, twitching as he was surrpunded by unwanted company. Naruto was rolling in laughter as he examined the rather cheeze banner that Sasuke had pulled on the school news.

"Seriously dude...where did you even GET this!?"

"I MADE IT!" Sasuke huffed as he argued through Naruto's snickering, "What- did you think Saseme was the ONLY artisticly gifted twin!? HUH!?" the male twin was a blushing mess as the blonde delinquent was having way too much fun with his masterpiece.

"It's just...sooo cheesey!" he laughed.

"Still it's more than you've ever made, Naruto." Gaara muttered.

"What do you mean by that!?" asked Naruto.

"Well Naruto...you ARE in an art club you know..." said Sai, "And yet you haven't created a single piece as of yet that wasn't throwing paint on everyone else."

The gathered members of the Art Club had decided to invade on the usual twin time during lunch hour, all gathered on the roof, exchanging small talk and enjoying a good meal.

"Jeez...did you have to bring your stupid friends...?" Sasuke muttered as he tried to peacefully enjoy his omurice, courtesy of Itachi's many courses, "...This is supposed to be our time..." he grumbled.

"Actually, Sasu, technically Lunch hour is supposed to be a social time..." Saseme stated, "A time for the the students to share a meal and take a break from the cericculum-"

"I socialize!"

"With Kendo Club?"

"With you!" Sasuke said firmly, "...No one else is worth my time."

His sister let out a sigh. Still...it was nice that he cared enough about her to make time for her...but she still wished he would socialize and make and have more friends at school. He was hardly even friends with anyone in his own Kendo Club...

"Yeah. That's my art!" said Naruto, continuing the arguement with Sai.

"You mean the art of Chaos?" Saseme snickered.

"HaHaHa the art of Chaos~" laughed Sasuke, "Good one, Sausy!"

"A unique art form to say the least." Sai chuckled as he retrieved Sasuke's banner from Naruto's grip and neatly folded it back properly, "You know Sasuke, with such masterful skills such as this...you could join the Art Club-"

"NO WAY!" Sasuke and Naruto shouted together before Sai could even finish his say and they shot glares at each other before Sasuke scoffed and folded his arms.

"I said I would support my Sister's cause...not that I would do any of the rest of you any favors!"

"Well...you could maybe at least sit in on one-"

"Huh?" Sasuke blinked.

"Well I mean-" she blushed shyly, "You've dragged me to more than a few sit ins with Kendo Club..." she stated, "So I dunno...maybe you could...just one...Art Club?"

Sasuke blushed awkwardly. It knocked him dead every time his sister got cute...he had no chance. He heaved a heavy sigh.

"I Suppose...maybe..." he muttered softly, "...I'll... think about it..."
Saseme blinked and gave a vibrant smile.

"Okay~!" she beamed. And he was done.

"Pfft...Sasuke's such a sucker when it comes to Saseme..." Gaara chuckled.

"Yeah...it's kinda cute seeing them together like that..." Naruto chuckled, "It's sweet, ya know?" he blinked, "Makes that guy seem a little more approachable...feel a little more human."

"...Cute?" Gaara blinked and leaned in close to Naruto with narrowed beads of Jade, studying him.

"...You didn't happen to fall under the spell of my Fiancee by any chance...have you?" he blinked.

"Say what!?" Naruto blushed, "Ugh, please!" he snorted and leaned back on his two wrists as he leaned his head back, "...I don't fall under Love spells...Red Panda~" he smirked.

Gaara gasped.

"I told you that in confidence!" he hissed blushing.

"...And you trust this guy!?" asked Sasuke as he hovered over the two, startling the blushing brunette, "Pff...that's your mistake." he scoffed.

"Stop listening in on my conversations!" Gaara huffed while Saseme giggled behind her brother who was smirking triumphantly.

"You're the man who's supposed to be engaged to my sister soon enough." said Sasuke sternly, "...You really think I'm not gonna listen in on a few conversations?" he blinked, "Watch your step Tsunkagakure..." he whispered as his dark eyes widened slightly with intensity dancing in their shadow. "I'm always watching."

Gaara gulped.

When he wears a look like that...

He's almost as scary as Itachi...

"Yes while this is all fun and nice..." said Sai, "If we could please get back to the more serious matter at hand, hm?"

'What's up, Senpai?" asked Saseme as he demanded the attention of the group.

"I wanted to gather with Sasuke because I was hoping he could help us brain storm." he stated, "While what he did for us was good...it won't be enough." he stated.

"He's right, Sausy." said Sasuke, "You're going to need a lot more support than just The Kendo Club if you want a hope's chance in hell of saving your dying one." he stated, "Not trying to be an ass hole...just stating facts."

"...He's right." Sai sighed, "We need to draw in more members..." he stated, "Make our peers want to join." he stated, "Or..at the very least...find someone willing to sponsor us."

"Like who?" asked Gaara, "Like maybe a teacher you think?"

"Well that would certainly help." said Sai, "However if we want to draw in a teacher's support we have to prove that our club is actually worth saving...otherwise it will be a waste of everyone's time...not to mention the school's funding." he sighed, "That's why they are trying to push it out in the first place."

"Now...don't get me wrong." said Naruto as he swiped bits and pieces of food from Gaara's bento...as well as Saseme's, which irritated Sasuke, "Mm...but..." he spoke between chewing, "Saseme...isn't your family like...super rich?" he asked, "Why not just ask your parents?"

Sasuke and Saseme froze up tight. The entire mood shifted ad Naruto began to feel uneasy.

"Was it...something I said?" he asked, which was soon only ment with Sasuke's black ice glare, enough to startle small shivers down his spine.

"N...Naruto it's..." Saseme sighed as Gaara placed a supportive hand on her shoulder, only to be met with the black tip of Sasuke's sword to his throat.

"What!? I'm comforting her-"

"Mmhm." Sasuke huffed against Gaara's protests as the brunette rolled his eyes and pulled his hand back slowly while Saseme gave an awkward cheeky chuckle before she sighed.

"It's...not that easy..." she stated.

"...I say the best bet would be to start with your peers first." said Sasuke, quite adamant on changing the subject.

"Our peers?" Naruto blinked.

"He means the other students." said Gaara.

"Yes indeed that would be an excellent start." said Sai, "The chances are if we could get the other clubs to do as Sasuke didwith his- it would increase the possibility of a teacher on faculty to want to sponsor our Club!"

"But how would we go about even doing that?" asked Gaara, "It's not like the rest of the school is very keen on saving our dying club..."

"Saseme can do it." Sasuke smiled warmly as he placed an arm over her shoulders, "I know you can~" he smiled.

"Jeez...you're such a sisiter simp..." Naruto mumbled.

"SHUT IT, Loser!" Sasuke huffed, "Remember- We still have two rounds we didn't finish- and I only need one to beat you." he leered as Naruto sighed and rolled his eyes. Silence fell upon the group before Sasuke spoke up once again.

"Why not try...for the upcoming School Festival?" he asked, grasping the attention of the group, "I mean...every club does something for it...so it's not like they won't be there...and most and if not all of the students partake in it in some way...so everyone will be gathered." he stated, "I'd say it's good opportunity for you to promote yourselves."

"The school festival...yes." said Sai.

"The school festival?" Naruto blinked.

"The Art Club used to do an open Gallery for it...where the members display things they drew or created." Sai stated, "Perhaps we could open it for the School public." he stated, "Encourage other students to submit something if they want to...possibly draw in more members."

"Yeah...IF they want to..." Gaara sighed.

"At the very least...you might be able to gain support from other clubs." said Sasuke, "After all it's not like Saseme doesn't have a few connections with a couple of other club members...like the Poetry and Liturature club, for starters~" he teased.

"That's true." she smiled softly, "Hinata-chan has been our number one supporter..."

"Not to mention the Music Club too." said Sasuke, "...I'm sure there's someone there who would welcome a conversation with you."

Saseme blinked and fell silently as her brother gave a gentle chuckle, "Well anyway...Lunch is almost up and we have Clubs to get to..." he said softly as he stood and threw his long black wooden sword over his shoulder, glancing back at her once more, he smiled.

"...Good Luck."
