It's gonna be written as a series of one-shots, with certain parts taken from the original draft. (The original draft only got to chapter 4, so there's enough content I guess.) Characters: Riku, [Sora, Kairi] Summary: Best friends. That's what they were, those two boys - they used to be two peas in a pod, practically inseparable. Inseparable... up until that fateful night. It was then that the duo was taken apart - broken to pieces, shattered like glass, cut to shreds by shards of ice. It all started with ice... Frozen/KH. AU. Commentary: Well, ever since I saw Frozen, I've been wanting to write this. Basically, it's taking the plot of Frozen, changing quite a few things, taking the Frozen cast out, and putting the KH cast in. So far, so good... Hopefully, this won't take long to write, since it's unfolding very smoothly in my head. We'll see how it turns out... Also, I think I'm just gonna go right along with this one, and update as soon as the first chapter is done, since I don't feel like waiting... plus it seems like I've disappeared, so I'm making a comeback. By some cruel twist of fate, they end up on the same cruise ship. By another, they are stranded on an island together with no method of outside contact. Can they survive together despite being at each other's throats? AU. Commentary: So, this idea hit me after reading "The Interlopers" in Literature. I thought it was a really interesting story, so I decided to make my own take of it, I guess. XD The idea literally slapped me in the face, and all the plot started developing in my mind... I'm hoping this story will go really well... I don't know, though. :D I'll cross that bridge when I get to it, I guess. AU of sorts. One-shot. Commentary: I needed to write some fluff. And I needed to write for Riku. So this happened. The idea just hit me out of nowhere and I knew I had to let it come to life. People only seek to get close so they can use you... so they can take your heart and tear it to pieces. So they can make you weak. Never let any anyone in... never let anyone close.” Riku was always a loner, but he didn't mind. He liked it that way; he'd rather be alone. If he was alone... no one could hurt him. AU. Commentary: I haven't written a Hurt/Comfort fic in a while. Wow. Anyways, I was looking at an old fic of mine, Drowning in my Feelings, and I was thinking about Riku's character... he's a mysterious dude. I have a strong feeling I'm not going to be doing anything with DimF for a hyper-extended period of time, so I decided to take a completely different route so I could write more of this character. This completely antisocial, intimidating, one-liner kinda guy. In this fic it's more extreme, of course. Also, again with the angst. I wonder why...? November 9, 2016 I'm gonna take a wild guess and figure that most of you know that I live in America. And in the good ol' USA, Donald Trump just won the presidential election. Since I have to discuss politics on every forum by mandate, I'll just say this much: I, being a young, African American, bisexual woman with "abnormal" eye color, fear for my life as soon as I step out the door of my home. I fear for the lives of my friends and my neighbors. I fear for the lives of basically everyone who is not a white, straight, male in America. Donald Trump is racist, sexist, queerphobic, misogynistic, and a sex offender... And he's going to be in office for the next four years. While this oversized cheeto is running our country, all of the people who voted for him (roughly half the population) are able to be much bolder than he is (and that's saying something) and I fear for all the lives that will, inevitably, end because of this. I'm afraid to walk on the soil of my own country. So, politics aside, I just swung back around here. Hi. I've been writing a little on Archive. (not much, but enough.) I want to try and make a comeback but... writing is hard, as you all know. In any case I still have ideas brewing in this head of mine, and hopefully the ones I want will come to fruition.
