'Mabel! Oh no! The crash! What happened?! Mabel?!' Said Dipper in confusion
'Dipper? What happened?' replied Mabel groggily 'and why is everything so blurry?'
'We got into a car crash, remember?' Said Dipper before the realization dawned on him "Wait, are we dead?!"
'C-c'mon Dipper, if we were dead, then we wouldn't be able to talk to each other...right?" Said Mabel nervously 'right?'
'Mabel...we're not moving our mouths'
'Maybe we just unlocked sibling telepathy, it's not the weirdest thing that happened to us' said Mabel cheerfully 'wait, let me try sending you some pictures'
'Mabel! Stop sending me pictures of Waddles!' Demanded Dipper angrily
Then the twins noticed a large figure looming over them, they couldn't make out any features as everything was too blurry, but from the voice, they could identify the figure as female
"Aww, dear, look at them, they're so adorable"
Then another figure who could be identified as male appeared and stood next to the first figure
"Yup, Mason and Mabel Clawthorne, our children"
' 'WHAT?!' '

'Okay, let's just think about this' said Dipper trying not to panic 'we got into a car crash, we died, we got some type of sibling telepathy and we became the children of a family called the Clawthornes, WHO ARE APPARENTLY NOT HUMANS!!!'
'Maybe they just talk weird?' Said Mabel meekly, not even sure of her own words
'Mabel, they said they're giving me the nickname Dipper because they saw the mark on my forehead in a human star book thingy' yelled Dipper in frustration 'humans don't say that, Mabel!'
'*sigh* i guess you're right'
Dipper went silent after hearing Mabel's response, she felt so downcast it worried him
'...Mabel, are you okay?' Asked Dipper
'It's just so sudden, we were 13, Dipper, we didn't even get to live out most of our teen years. And what about mom, dad, grunkle Stan and Waddles and everyone?'
Dipper couldn't see the face of his sister as he could barely move, but he could feel how much this whole thing affected her
'Hey hey, c'mon Mabel, this isn't too bad, our new parents are nice, even a little goofy' said Dipper reassuringly 'and who knows, Waddles was with us in the crash, maybe he's somewhere here too'
'You think so?' Asked Mabel
'Yeah, and you'll always have me' said Dipper as he sent Mabel a picture of himself smiling while giving her a thumbs up
'Thanks, Dipper'

The first few years of Dipper and Mabel's new life were...difficult
Ignoring all the issues that accompany being a baby again, their telepathic link could be...bothersome
Sharing the same dreams is not fun, dreams that are extremely vivid dreams made it even worse
It made the twins were very thankful to find out that their telepathic link could be turned on and off
"Hey! Dipper, Mabel, Look at this" said a brown haired, red eyed lady cheerfully with an excited smile, it was Dipper and Mabel's new mother, she drew a magic circle, causing a toy house to be made out of rocks right in front of the twins
The twins gasped at the sight before them, and of course, one thought ran through Mabel's mind
'Is that magic?!' Said Mabel with starry eyes
'I think you're actually right this time' said Dipper in awe at the small house
"When you two grow up, you'll be able to do stuff like this all the time" said miss Clawthorne cheerfully "I'm sure you two will grow up to be incredible witches"
'*gasp* we get to do magic?!' Said Mabel unable to hide even a glimmer of her excitement
'I'm gonna become a wizard!'
Dipper felt really stupid when he learned that witches were not an occupation, but were a species
One he, Mabel and his new parents all belong to

"Be safe you two!" Said miss Clawthorne cheerfully
""Yes, mom!"" Said toddler Dipper and Mabel in union
Then, the two took off into the outside world
"Can you believe it, Dipper? Our first adventure in this wonderful world" said Mabel happily as she marched onwards
"You know that dad is probably watching us from a bush, right?" Said Dipper raising a brow
As soon as Dipper heard that, there was some rustling in a bush behind them with quiet "animal" noises
The twins decided to ignore that and headed towards a clear area in the forest
"Ok, let me try the fire spell again" said Dipper as he drew a magic circle in the air, out of it fire appeared "Hey! It worked!"
The fire flickered for a few seconds before it disappeared with a puff of smoke
"Aw, man. I thought i had it this time" said Dipper as he slumped his shoulders dejectedly
"Don't worry, bro bro. I got this" said Mabel cheerfully before drawing a magic circle that conjured up a massive fireball, making Dipper take a few steps back "...Uhh, Dipper...i...heh heh actually don't know how to control this thing... and it's getting pretty hot"
The fireball was getting hotter and hotter by the second, and slightly bigger
"Mabel, throw it away, right now" said Dipper backing away from Mabel "away from the forest as well"
"Whoa whoa, it's getting very wobbly" said Mabel nervously as the fireball shook over her index finger before the fireball slipped off of her finger and blasted off "Oops...it slipped"
It ended up hitting a roaming slitherbeast, angering it...a lot
"And this is the part where we run" said Dipper in fear before he and Mabel blasted off in the direction opposite the slitherbeast, screaming
The two barely managed to escape the beast's clutches by accidentally falling into a small chasm in the ground
Sadly, the slitherbeast didn't give up that fast, it followed them in
Meanwhile, the twins' father ran after them after sending his palisman to notify Miss Clawthorne
But once Dipper and Mabel made it down the chasm, the beast was already there with them
"No no no no" said Dipper frantically trying to make any spell that'd drive off the beast, but that failed miserably "oh, come on!"
Mabel did the same, managing to hit the beast a few times before the beast started to dodge and Mabel started to get tired
The slitherbeast finally had the twins at a range where it could attack. It raised a claw to slash at the two
The twins closed their eyes and screamed at the top of their lung in front of the danger in front of them
And someone answered
A huge creature crashed into the slitherbeast at high speeds, sending it flying into a wall, knocking it out
Then, the two heard a familiar oink, one that Mabel recognized immediately
"Wait, Waddles?" Said Mabel opening her eyes
In front of the twins, stood a large orange pig with small tusks compared to it's figure, but the creature's face was one Mabel never forgot
It was Waddles
Waddles then magically shrunk to the size Mabel was used to, then he started pulling Mabel's clothes
"Oh my gosh! It is you!" Said Mabel before picking up Waddles and hugging him tightly
"Huh, the pig really did follow us here" said Dipper staring at Mabel and Waddles
Dipper and Mabel then heard a loud roar. They turned to it's source, the slitherbeast was awake again
The two screamed in fear, meanwhile, Waddles grew back into his giant size in response to danger, making the twins ride him by accident
"Waddles! Take us away!" Yelled Mabel, giving Waddles a light slap on the side, making him dash off away from the beast
As the three made their escape, the slitherbeast followed
But then, a familiar female figure appeared from the ground and morphed it so Waddles and the twins would go over her to behind her with smooth movements
It was their mother with her staff...and their dad was there too, panting from running to there
Then, Dipper, Mabel, Waddles and Mr Clawthorne watched as Mrs Clawthorne killed the slitherbeast with immense ease using earth magic

"So, mom, can we keep Waddles?" Asked Mabel cheerfully, holding the pig in her hands
The Clawthornes finally made it back home with minimal injuries, but all of those were easily healed by Mr Clawthorne
"Sure, Mabel" said Mrs Clawthorne nonchalantly
"*Gasp* really?" Asled Mabel with starry eyes
Her mother just nodded in response, making Mabel squeal happily
"Wait, yes? Just like that?" Asked Dipper in confusion
"Trust me, Dipper. I've seen people with pets worse than a size shifting pig, besides, they look pretty attached to each other" said Miss Clawthorne nonchalantly "and who knows, maybe Mabel would join the beast keeping coven one day"
Dipper and Mabel just looked at her in confusion
"Coven?" Said Mabel
"Oh, right, never told you about covens, did we. We live in such a secluded area, i forgot all about it" said miss Clawthorne in realization "Where do i start? Well, there's this guy called Belos, he's the emperor of the boiling isles and he made the coven system, each coven has it's magic and once you become a part of one, you can't use any other type of magic, every witch must join a coven or they'll be branded as criminals, you join a track based on a coven at school, yadda yadda yadda, there are ten main coven, let's ignore the emperor's coven since if you join them, you're dead to me"
Dipper and Mabel just stared at her in confusion, it was a large information dump, and the last part was very odd
"They serve the emperor directly and their magic isn't sealed. My aunt is in the emperor's coven, and she is not letting me hear the end of it" said miss Clawthorne with a frown, remembering her aunt "anyway, let's get to the good ones! There is, Abomination, they specialize in making and controlling these mud dolls called abominations. There is bard, they do magic with music. Oracle, they do fortune telling, illusions, self explanatory. Plants, easy to figure out, my mom is part of that one. There's construction, they use earth magic and other stuff to build...buildings!, that's my coven!"
"And then we have my coven, the healing coven!" said Mr Clawthorne cheerfully "we specialize in healing all kinds of injuries"
'huh, our parents have surprisingly normal jobs' said Dipper telepathically as he stared at his parents
'Yeah, it feels weird with the whole witches thing' replied Mabel
"Now we have the last two covens, the ones i think you might be interested in" said miss Clawthorne with a smile "the beast keeping coven, they specialize in dealing with beasts, taming, catching them, and even using magic to gain powers similar to them. You can an army of beasts, and you get to bring Waddles to school"
"*gasp* you hear that Waddles? We can go to school, together!" Said Mabel happily as she hugged Waddles "beast keeping coven, here we come!"
"Now, Dipper, you'll like this" said Miss Clawthorne cheerfully "the potion coven. i know that your magic is not the most...potent, but in the potion that doesn't matter. What matters is how good your brain is, and from the moment i saw you solve those human puzzle thingies, i knew you had a great head on those shoulders"
Dipper smiled and blushed in embarrassment under the praise before he realized something
"Wait, i only do that in me and Mabel's room with the door locked, were you spying on us?" Asked Dipper narrowing his eyes
"Uhhhh...i brought you this potion set with a recipe book your can read through" said miss Clawthorne with a nervous smile as she held a potion set with everything needed to brew and store potions with a recipe book
Dipper took the bribe with a disappointed frown on his face
"Well, I'm starved, who's ready for some slitherbeast meat for dinner?" Said miss Clawthorne changing the subject
"Ooh! Me! All this running made me hungry" said Mr Clawthorne cheerfully
But there was a silence between the twins, then Mabel decided to ask
"What's a slitherbeast?"
