"The egg. This is your assignment while your regular teacher's out. I don't know anything about home ec. I'm more of an auto shop guy so I looked online and this was the first thing I found. Now I know you people don't know anything about responsibility or protecting the helpless but I know you care about grades. So you're gonna partner up and bring your egg back Monday intact. Or else. And don't even think about breaking it and buying a new one cause I stamped them all. All right. Here's the teams." The teacher says as he lists the teams before Alexis and Garth hear they're paired up.

"This is great. We always do well when we're paired." Garth says happily.

"And it'll be different too since this is a new assignment." Alexis says as she smiles.

*Timeskip*

"So do you want to spend the weekend at my house again? It would be a little easier to look after the egg." Garth says as he is eating lunch with Alexis.

"Sure. I always enjoy staying with you. You're my best friend." Alexis says as she smiles.

"Yeah.. hehe... Best friend." Garth says shyly as Zee comes over with Oliver.

"Hey guys. How's it going for you?" Zee asks.

"Amazing. Garth had a baby carrier at his house and we're using it to look after the egg." Alexis says.

"Yup. Lucky my mom kept all my baby stuff... in my room.. for me to use instead of getting normal stuff. So lucky." Garth says as he gives a nervous look.

"Oh so your mother actually has affection for her offspring? How novel." Oliver says as he drinks from his cup as he and Zee start arguing.

"Makes me glad we don't fight that way." Alexis says as she smiles at Garth.

"Yeah... hey uh would you... Second thought nevermind." Garth says as Alexis looks at him concerned.

"You okay?" Alexis asks concernedly.

"Yeah. Great. Looking forward to hanging with my best friend all weekend. Not nervous or hiding anything at all." Garth says nervously.

"Awesome. I gotta go pack my stuff. I'll meet you at your house." Alexis says as she leaves.

*Timeskip*

"I don't believe it. We all lost our eggs. It hasn't even been two days and we done messed up." Alexis says as everyone is sitting outside Sweet Justice cafe and sulks.

"An egg." Babs says as a truck passes by and drops a box out of the back revealing to have an egg inside with a stamp on it before everyone begins fighting over the egg only to lose it to Pamela.

"Good morning class. I hope you all had a good weekend. Let's see what Mr. Chapin had you doing while I was gone. Oh dear. Not the egg thing. That is so outdated. I mean who can't take care of a simple egg right? I hope that assignment didn't cause too much stress. Let's just pretend it never happened shall we? Luckily for us the school mascot Hammy had babies. Now this is a real test. A living, breathing creature depending on you for its survival. I see Mr. Chapin already assigned partners so we'll just keep those shall we?" The teacher asks as everyone gives a nervous look.
