"Behold the MAMX fan club! MAMX? Maximum Assault Mech X. The famous anime slash manga slash card game slash lifestyle?" Garth asks as he was Kara watch a video on his club.

"Well Kara? Is cool like you wanted?" Alexis asks as she stands beside Garth.

"No. We're done here." Kara says as she goes to leave.

"Oh okay. I guess I just thought that you at least want to hear about the MAMX Mech battles." Garth says as Kara stops.

"Come on Kara. Least hear Garth out. You might like it." Alexis says as she and Garth go over to a table with Mechs.

"Ugh! Fine." Kara says annoyedly as she comes over.

"Oh yes! Mech battles are the best part about MAMX. Remote control Mechs face off in combat. in fact MAMX-Con the world's biggest mech competition is coming and it's always been my dream to win. Only you gotta have at least two members on a team to enter." Garth says.

"And I just prefer to watch and help from the sidelines since I'm not as good at this as Garth." Alexis says as Garth smiles at her.

"That's why I thought you... Nevermind. Probably couldn't even get you to try a single battle." Garth says as Kara looks at the Mechs.

"So what? We just make these toys beat the snot out of each other?" Kara asks curiously.

"A Mech Battle is more nuanced than that. In the show these contests are engagement of integrity and honor." Garth says.

"But to win my toy's gotta beat the snot out of yours right?" Kara asks.

"Yes. MAMX engage!" Garth says as his Mech begins to fight with Kara's.

"Stay still I-Whoa! How do you... Oh! Okay, okay. I think I'm getting the hang of it- Garth that was... awesome! Again!" Kara shouts happily as she loses the match.

"See? Not so bad now is it?" Alexis asks as she smiles.

"Yeah alright. You two win. You have my attention. Now again!" Kara shouts.

"Oh good move! Oh another one!" Garth shouts happily.

"Oh man! Okay you kick my butt again. Go on bask in the glory." Kara says.

"Come on Kara you know MAMX is about honor not glory. BTW that Takeshi Tornado you pulled off? Sick!" Garth shouts happily.

"Well I got a pretty sick teacher." Kara says happily.

"He's the best I know." Alexis says as Garth smiles and blushes.

"Takeshi Tornado's amateur at best." A voice says revealing to be a boy with glasses.

"Winslow Schott? The Winslow Schott? It is an honor! I'm Garth. This is Kara and Alexis. Winslow Schott is nationally-ranked Mech Battler. He's been in the finals of MAMX-Con three years running." Garth says excitedly.

"This year I intend to win. I've just transferred to Metropolis High. I'd heard the MAMX club had a chapter here but... Ouch. And to think I'd hoped to find a teammate for this year's MAMX-Con." Winslow says.

"Hey Winslow I'm ranked 24th in the tri-city area." Garth says as he goes over to Winslow.

"Garth! What are you doing? I am your partner." Kara says angrily.

"Yeah. I thought you wanted Kara as your partner?" Alexis asks curiously.

"Sorry Kara but Winslow Schott is a genius. I mean he's been customizing mechs since he was three. Alexis you know winning MAMX-Con is my dream. This is my best chance. If you had more practice Kara then yeah but this is my only chance to achieve my dream and I may not get it again." Garth says guiltily.

"Well Garth if this is what you want I guess I can support it." Alexis says unsurely.

"Oh he's right on both counts. I am a genius and his best chance at winning." Winslow says confidently.

"Oh yeah? Well then prove it!" Kara says much to Alexis and Garth's surprise.

"Hmm. MAMX engage!" Winslow says as he starts a match with Kara.

"Okay Winslow. Get ready t-" Kara then gets cut off as she loses.

*Timeskip*

"That is how are you MAMX." Winslow asks as he beats Kara again.

"Best out of three." Kara says determinedly.

"Okay but let's make it interesting: You lose not only are you off the MAMX-Con team but you have to quit the fan club too." Winslow says as Alexis and Garth give worried looks.

"What? Kara please stop." Alexis says as she and Garth look at Kara.

"Kara you don't have to do this." Garth says.

"Hmm." Kara says.

"See Garth, Alexis this is just sad." Winslow says.

"You know what's not sad? A little level-six Tenkiri frontal assault!" Kara shouts as she continues to fight Winslow only to lose.

"Ha. As expected." Winslow says proudly.

"Wait, what was that? That kid cheated. Seriously some kind of ray just came out of his robot guy. My guy just froze up." Kara says.

"Ray? Garth did you see a ray? Accusing a fellow MAMX-er of cheating? That is low." Winslow says.

"Listen kid." Kara says angrily as she picks Winslow up.

"Kara! Maybe you should go." Garth says coldly before Kara puts Winslow down.

"Garth." Alexis says as she looks at Garth.

"No Alexis. It's alright. Fine. I'm out of here." Kara says as she leaves.

*Timeskip*

"Hey Garth I wanted to wish you luck. I know I probably haven't been much help since I can't compete but I'm rooting for you." Alexis says as she finds Garth backstage with Winslow.

"Thanks Alexis. It means a lot to me having you here. I enjoy just spending time with you. You're my best friend." Garth says as Alexis smiles.

"I feel the same way. Good luck." Alexis says happily.

"I just wish Kara could see all this. She would of loved it." Garth says sadly as Alexis looks at him.

"I know but I'm sure she'll come to watch." Alexis says as she places her hand on Garth's shoulder.

"It's the finals. I doubt it." Garth says sadly.

"Never know with Kara. She'll come around. Give her time. In the meantime good luck out there." Alexis says as she leaves and sits down.

"It's final battle time." The announcer says as the final match begins.

"Garth woohoo! Yeah!" A voice shouts revealing to be Kara.

"Kara you made it." Alexis says happily.

"Of course. I wouldn't miss it. Just because I'm not competing doesn't mean I can't sit with you and cheer him on." Kara says.

"Glad to see you came." Alexis says before everyone sees as Garth drops his controller to the ground.

"He's cheating!" Garth shouts as the crowd shouts in displeasure.

"So you were right." Alexis says as she looks at Kara.

"A-ha!" Kara shouts as the judge takes Winslow's controller and disqualifies Garth and Winslow.

"Kara I just wanna say I am so sorry." Garth says as he meets Alexis and Kara backstage.

"Same. Sorry I didn't believe you at first." Alexis says.

"Look I'm not big on mushy make ups. So we're good?" Kara asks.

"He's attacking everyone." Alexis says as the group hears people screaming and sees a giant mech being controlled by Winslow.

"Why don't you let me handle this?" Kara asks as she changes into her super hero outfit and starts fighting with Winslow's mech.

"Oh no." Alexis says as Kara keeps getting hit by the mech.

"You see Garth? Even Supergirl can't stand up against the genius of Winslow Schott! You should have joined me when you had the chance! Once I destroy this noob... I'm coming for you and those loser friends of yours Kara and Alexis. And then all of the world will know the greatness. The glory of the mighty MAMX master Toy Man!" Winslow shouts.

"You know for a genius you're not too bright. Garth already told you. MAMX isn't about glory... It's about honor!" Kara shouts as she defeats Winslow's mech much to the joy of the crowd.

*Timeskip*

"I won! I actually won! Ha! That's two!" Kara shouts.

"Hmm. Well I don't think the time you said my mom was outside and knocked my mech over when I wasn't looking should count as a win." Garth says unimpressed.

"I agree." Alexis says.

"Hmm. Mmm-hmm. I see what you mean. Oh Garth your Dad's outside." Kara says.

"What?" Garth asks as he looks out the window.

"Now it's three." Kara says proudly as she knocks over Garth's mech when he isn't looking.

"Kara." Alexis and Garth say in union.
