A/N: This is the last chapter. I did not intend for this book to be extremely long as they do not get very many episodes out at a time and not very often at that. Plus there's not many with Garth having a bunch of parts. So this will be the last chapter of the book.

"Alexis run!" Garth shouts as he and Alexis are being chased by Winslow in a mech.

"No worries! I am!" Alexis shouts only for her and Garth to get cornered.

"Winslow I'm guessing this is about the whole me destroying your life's dream by exposing you as a cheater thing. But don't you think maybe you brought some of that on yourself?" Garth asks nervously.

"Yeah. I'm sure this is a misunderstanding." Alexis says worriedly.

"Garth you simpleton! The whole reason I pilot a giant mech is so that I don't have to be self aware." Winslow says as he smiles.

"Well hello! Sounds like someone's begging to get their bot kicked." A voice says revealing to be Kara and Karen.

"Ha-ha. Bot instead of butt. Classic." Garth says as Kara continues to laugh at Winslow only for him to rocket a robot fist at her and sending her and Karen flying a good distance away.

"Garth?" Alexis asks.

"Yeah?" Garth asks.

"Run." Alexis says.

"Right." Garth says as he and Alexis take off running.

"Oh no you two don't!" Winslow shouts as he stops Alexis and Garth.

*Timeskip*

"So Garth, Alexis what do you say we play one of my favorite games? Do you remember death trap?" Winslow asks as he holds up a game as Alexis and Garth are tied to a metal beam on a construction building.

"Aw do I! I was always the shoe." Garth says nervously.

"Not really." Alexis says.

"Well not to worry. You won't need to remember it because now we're going to play it for real! In a matter of moments you shall feel the wrath of a toy man's scorn!" Winslow shouts as he places a ball into a machine getting the contraption started.

"This was people's idea for a children's game?" Alexis asks worriedly.

"It's a really old game." Garth says nervously.

"This is a lot slower than I would of expected." Alexis says as the contraption is taking its time.

"So this is gonna take a minute?" Garth asks as he smiles.

*Timeskip*

"In a mere six to ten minutes depending how quickly the butter slide melts it shall all be over!" Winslow shouts happily.

"Not so slow toy man!" A voice shouts revealing to be Karen and Kara as they come running over.

"I see my purchase from very deadly space rocks and more didn't finish the job. Well I hope they enjoy my one star customer rating!" Winslow shouts as he flies down after Karen as Kara begins trying to help Alexis and Garth.

"Kara!" Garth says happily as he and Alexis see Kara.

"Garth, Alexis... I came to... be sick." Kara says as she starts making her way over.

"Kara any time now." Alexis says worriedly as the contraption gets closer to going off.

"I'm coming guys!" Kara shouts.

"Okay! Cool. Could you hurry?" Garth asks nervously.

"Please!" Alexis shouts before Winslow comes back and begins firing attacks at Kara before she jumps in front of Alexis and Garth as a cannon is fired and blocks the hit.

"No!" Garth shouts.

"Supergirl!" Alexis shouts sadly before the group sees Kara is okay as Karen comes over.

"Supergirl! You did it!" Karen says happily.

"We're not done yet. Time to be a hero." Kara says as she frees Alexis and Garth before the group attacks Winslow.

*Timeskip*

"Thanks Kara. That was awesome." Garth says as the group watches as the police take Winslow.

"And just in time too." Alexis says as she smiles.

"Don't thank me. Thank Karen for reminding me that you don't need powers to be a hero. But they do help. You know something Garth? After all this I have a lot more respect for you doing this super hero thing without any powers." Kara says as the group starts walking.

"I got powers." Garth says as he smiles.

"Yeah. His water manipulation." Alexis says.

"Right. You make water splash itself or something like that." Kara says as she chuckles.

"Aww. It's a bit more complicated than that." Garth says shyly.

"Oh right. Can't you talk to fish?" Karen asks as everyone looks at Garth.

"Technically no but I have a fish and I do talk to her. Only she doesn't talk back. Oh! Once I thought she said blub but it was just a bubble." Garth says as the group laughs.

*Timeskip*

"Sorry I got you stuck in danger with me today Alexis. I feel bad over that." Garth says as he is sitting with Alexis later in the park.

"No worries Garth. Besides we all kinda got on Winslow's bad side that day." Alexis says as she chuckles.

"Yeah but you're my best friend. I just don't want to see you get hurt. I feel bad when you're in danger because of me." Garth says sadly.

"Garth I would stand by you no matter what. A little danger doesn't scare me." Alexis says as she smiles reassuringly.

"I know but still." Garth says as he looks down.

"Garth is there something you're hiding? You've seemed a lot more protective of me lately." Alexis says concernedly.

"If I tell you can you at least promise not to get mad at me? I don't want it to ruin our friendship. You mean too much to me to lose you for something stupid." Garth says nervously as he looks at Alexis.

"Garth I could never be angry at you. Just tell me what's wrong." Alexis says kindly as Garth takes a deep breath before exhaling.

"Okay... Here it goes... I like you... no I love you. I've cared about you for a long time as more than friends. You've always been there for me and I can only count few times when we are not with each other. I don't know how I developed the feelings but I just know that how I felt towards you changed and all I know is that I don't want to lose you. I was scared to tell you out of fear you wouldn't feel the same and not wanna be friends anymore because of it. I can live with us not being together in that way if you don't feel the same but what I can't live without is you being in my life even if it's just as a friend. You mean too much to me. I-" Garth then gets cut off by Alexis kissing him on the lips leaving him blushing and speechless.

"Garth? Stop talking. I would never stop being your friend. You feeling that way isn't stupid. If it is then I guess that makes me a stupid one too." Alexis says as she blushes.

"Wait. What?" Garth asks confusedly.

"I feel the same Garth. For a couple months now. I just wasn't sure how to tell you myself." Alexis says shyly.

"You're kidding. You actually feel the same?" Garth asks happily as he smiles.

"Yeah. Hey you wanna go to Sweet Justice? My treat. They're having a special tonight for groups of people." Alexis says kindly.

"On one condition. You be my girlfriend." Garth says as he smiles triumphantly.

"Since when did you get cocky?" Alexis asks as she smiles.

"I guess having you around makes me feel more confident in what I do." Garth says happily.

"I'd love to." Alexis says happily as Garth kisses her causing her to smile and blush.
