(Vista Verde, New Mexico: Operations Base of Bruce Banner aka The Incredible Hulk)
Bruce Banner was in his lab, currently working on a new teleporter machine that Tony had invented for easier travel between realms, dimensions or even to other planets across space. All somebody had to do was type in the coordinates to a particular destination on the panel and they'll be allowed to venture there in under a minute, but it needed a few finishing touches that only Bruce could do, since Reed wasn't available at the moment.
If the former Gamma Scientist were to be honest, though, he was hesitant to work on it at first; mainly because Tony had created it within two weeks and it still had several bugs in the system, but when the billionaire playboy wouldn't stop begging him to work on the machine, Bruce caved and changed his mind, if only to get Tony to leave him alone.
"Ugh, I swear one day I'm going to have Hulk launch Tony to the moon, if he so much as begs me like a kid again." Bruce muttered, annoyed at Tony, before he dusted his hands off and stepped back to admire his work. "Hmm, doesn't seem too bad." The former Gamma Scientist said with a smile.
The teleporter resembled Reed's Negative Zone, but it wasn't as quite as large. "Well, time to see if this thing works." Bruce said, before walking over to his console and typed in coordinates to New York City as a trial run. The machine started up smoothly as swirling blue vortex appeared and it looked like it was going to work, but it suddenly shut down after about 15 seconds.
"Figures." The former Gamma Scientist sighed. "There must be a couple of more kinks in the wiring or something." He suggested a loud, glancing at the teleporter with a thinking look, when suddenly it started back up.
Surprised and confused, Bruce tried switching it off, but the console blew up and caught fire. "Uh-oh..." The former Gamma Scientist said as the teleporter was now pulling nearby objects inside the swirling vortex. Bruce tried to keep himself from being sucked as well by grabbing a hold of his console.
Channeling some of Hulk's strength, he slowly crawled his way towards the emergency shutoff button to shut the power off throughout his base as the vortex grew stronger and finally managed to press it, but in so doing, Bruce had unfortunately lost his grip and ended up being sucked into vortex as it shut down once again, silence filling the now empty lab.

The former Gamma Scientist opened his eyes, blinking away any blurriness as he started to regain consciousness. "Ughhh..." Bruce groaned, his head feeling like it was going to explode, before slowly standing up and dusted himself off.
"Where am I?" He questioned, before looking around and he noticed it was an alleyway. "Great..." Bruce muttered. "'Come on, Bruce, it won't blow up. It'll work fine, Bruce. It's not going to be another Ultron situation, Bruce.'" He said, sarcastically and mimicking Tony. "I swear, once I get back, I'll flatten Stark Tower into the ground."
The former Gamma Scientist spotted a newspaper laying next to a dumpster and picked it up. "Seems like I'm in Washington, DC." Bruce thought, before letting out a sigh of relief, thinking that he may have ended up in a nightmarish dimension, but as Bruce read further, he realized something was different.
"The Guardian of the Globe stop a nuclear meltdown in China? Omni-Man saves a family from an apartment fire?" The former Gamma Scientist read. "Who are these heroes?" He wondered, having never heard of them before.
Suddenly, there was a loud explosion that shook the area and Bruce sees people running for their lives. Alerted by the chaos, he runs out of the alleyway and spotted a pillar of smoke from a few blocks away. "What's going on?" Bruce asked a nearby pedestrian.
"The Mauler Twins are attacking the White House, run for your life!" The man exclaimed to Bruce, before running off.
"Mauler Twins?" The former Gamma Scientist said, very confused by what the man said. He glanced towards the smoke again, adopted a determined look and headed in that direction.
Whoever these Mauler Twins are, they're going to learn fear today.
(Washington, DC: The White House)
The Guardians of the Globe - which consisted of the Immortal, War Woman, Red Rush, Dark Wing, Aquarus, Green Ghost and Martian Man - were currently battling the Mauler Twins on the White House's front lawn to prevent them from killing the U.S. President.
One of the Maulers grabs hold of a tank and throws it at Green Ghost, who was trying to rescue a security guard, but she phased through the vehicle and manages to fly the man to safety.
The Mauler Twin, or technically clone, growled and charged at Green Ghost, but a mace to the face stopped him in his tracks. "War Woman!" He sneered at the superheroine. "You couldn't just sit this one out and let us kill the President? Don't worry. You'll earn a day off."
"Not our style." The Amazonian replied with a smirk, twirling her mace in hand.
The Mauler swung his right arm at War Woman, but she dodged to the side and struck him hard in the face, stunning the clone for a moment, and this allowed Dark Wing to toss explosive pellets at his back. The Twin/Clone stumbled with a pained grunt, but the villain shrugged it off a second later and became enraged before continuing to fight on.
Immortal was trading blows with the other Mauler, while Red Rush was speeding civilians to safety, though the people he saved began to vomit from the sudden rescue, much to Red Rush's disgust.
"These brutes are relentless!" The Immortal stated, dodging a punch thrown at his face and delivered a combo of punches to the Mauler clone's face. "I don't know if we'll be able to keep this up for long; where's Omni-Man?" He questioned.
"I don't know!" Aquarus exclaimed, sending a torrent of water at the Mauler clone that pushed him back a couple of feet. "We sent out a signal, but he hasn't responded yet!"
Martian Man quickly wrapped himself around the Mauler Twin, trapping him and this allowed the Immortal to punch him repeatedly in the face, before they both jumped back and away from the Mauler Twin as Aquarus sent the villain flying into the air with a rush of underground water. The Mauler Twin/Clone crashed landed back onto the ground and steadily stood back up to his feet with a vicious growl, ready for another round with his brother/clone standing next to him. Despite being outnumbered and one of them having a wounded eye, the Mauler Twins are far from giving up on their mission to kill the US President.
The heroes and villains were about to fight again, when suddenly...
"RRRAAAGGGHHH!" An enraged roar came from out of nowhere as something crashed landed several feet away from the Guardians and the Maulers, causing them to pause in place as the area quaked briefly yet greatly from the force of the impact. It was unlike anything that any of the combatants have ever felt before. Once the dust cleared, the heroes and villains were greeted to the sight of an eight-foot tall, green behemoth.
The creature glanced slowly at each of the heroes, before turning his gaze to the villains. "Blue Men try to hurt innocent people! Hulk smash Blue Men!" The creature, now known as Hulk, bellowed angrily at the Mauler Twins.
Needless to say, the Guardians of the Globe were surprised, initially thinking that they would have to fight this creature, but now realize it's an ally upon hearing it threaten their foes. They were even more surprised, when Hulk rushed towards one of the Maulers and struck him with an uppercut so hard that it sent the clone flying out of the area, literally.
The heroes and the other Mauler were stunned by that display of raw power as Hulk turned his furious gaze towards the other villain. In an act of bravery or maybe stupidity, the Mauler punched the Green Goliath in the face, but it barely fazed him, if at all.
Stunned and now afraid, the other Mauler started backing up as Hulk approached him with a menacing stride. "Heh. Easy, big fella. M-Maybe we can talk this out?" He suggested fearfully.
In response, Hulk growled. "No...Hulk will rip Blue Man apart for hurting innocent people!"
Not wanting that, the Mauler quickly grabbed a tank and threw it at Hulk, who smacked it aside, like it was nothing. "Hulk smash Blue Man!" The Green Goliath roared, before repeatedly punching the Mauler's face so hard that it dazed him; it was like getting punched by a planet. Hulk then brought his arms up and brought them downwards with enough force that it shook the whole area, but the heroes easily could tell Hulk was holding back.
"This creature's strength definitely surpasses Omni-Man's!" The Immortal thought with wide eyes as the Green Goliath's ground slam had sent the remaining Mauler flying out of the area, just like his clone/brother.
After defeating the Maulers, Hulk glanced at the Guardians of the Globe once again, before he started to walk away and then leaped out of sight, leaving the Guardians amazed yet perplexed at their potential new ally.
