A/N: Bet this is a fanfic adventure no one would really see coming since no one really cares about this dropped pilot, but I thought it'd be an interesting story to share with you guys. Read & Review.

It seemed to be a typical day in Peach Creek, though our story begins at the junkyard with three boys who you might know as Ed, Edd, and Eddy. With them were Professor T. Byrd and Princess Angelica, though going by just Angelica on this planet as they were going through what was known as BattleToad training.

"You boys are doing really well and you've really come a long way since we first met you." Professor T. Byrd smiled in admiration.

"It's our pleasure, Professor," Double D smiled. "We quite like our training too."

"Not sure if it's better than jawbreakers, but I definitely like it." Eddy smirked.

"Someone's coming!" Ed called out as he looked over. "Everyone, quick! Act natural!"

"It's okay, it's just us!" Zofia said as she was coming over with LJ with something in her hands.

"Hey, LJ. Hey, Zofia." The Eds greeted calmly.

"Whatcha got there, guys?" Eddy asked.

"It seems that we've gotten someone's mail by accident," Zofia explained. "Anyone know a kid named 'Sprig Speevak'?"

"Yeah, cuz the only Sprig we know is that game we sometimes play with Poppy whenever she babysits us since Felicity's at her fancy school out of the country." LJ added.

"Oh! I know! I know!" Ed smiled as he came by to take the letter that Zofia had. "I'm pen pals with that kid!"

"So? What's it say?" asked LJ as Ed claimed the letter.

"Let's see," Ed said as he opened up the letter to look through it. "'Hey, Ed... How are you? I'm fine'..."

"Get to the good part." Eddy said impatiently.

"Eddy!" Double D chided.

"Double D." Eddy retorted.

Double D rolled his eyes as Ed continued to go through the letter a bit until he would finish up.

"Oh, he wants us to come and visit!" Ed smiled in excitement.

"Hey, that's great!" LJ exclaimed. "Might be a great opportunity for you guys to get outta town and brush up on your skills!"

"Yeah!" The Eds all cheered.

"Aside from scamming kids from their money after all." Zofia said to Eddy.

"Zo, that hurts!" Eddy gasped dramatically. "I'm more than just the same joke over and over again. You're thinking of Kevin or Jonny 2x4."

"It would be nice to get out of the cul-de-sac," Double D smiled. "It feels like everything's just been staying the same around here lately... Aside from our new lives after all."

"Besides, they stopped scamming, remember?" asked LJ.

"Just a quick reminder," Zofia replied. "I'm proud of you boys."

"Thanks!" The Eds smiled.

"I guess we'll find something else to do off-screen," LJ shrugged before seeing a pigeon flying over with a note for them tied in blue and gold ribbon, so he accepted the note and stroked the pigeon, making it coo. "Hey, Witherspoon."

"Aww... How cute." Angelica smiled.

"What's that?" Ed asked.

"We'll see when we find out," LJ said as he examined the note. "Oh, cool! It's from Felicity and she wants us to visit her and her friends for a little while."

"Niiiice!" Zofia declared. "Guess that takes up OUR time!"

"Well, I guess we'll see ya when we see ya." Eddy said.

"Sounds like it," LJ replied. "You guys have fun with your thing and we'll keep in touch."

"It's a deal," Double D agreed. "Like that time when we were visiting The Xiaolin Temple."

"Later, guys!" LJ waved as he and Zofia left the scene [and for all intents and purposes, the story].

"Well, that was random," Double D said. "Well, you better tell your parents about your letter, Ed, then we'll see about visiting this Spring Speevak fellow."

"Sounds good," Ed nodded. "It's a whole new adventure for us! Or should I say an 'ed-venture'?" he then asked with a sly smirk as a random rimshot was then heard.

"Yeah, yeah, Shecky; let's just get a move on." Eddy replied. "So where's this Sprig kid live, anyways?"

"Well, he lives outside of Peach Creek for one thing." Ed said.

"Yeah, but where exactly?" Eddy asked. "Is he a big city kid with a giant pool with its own fountain and submarine?" he then grinned eagerly.

"No." Ed said.

"Does he live in Hollywood and live next door to a lot of famous movie stars who could use an awesome guy like me as a co-star in their next red carpet premiere movie?" Eddy then asked eagerly.

"Uh-uh." Ed shook his head.

"Does he live in Las Vegas where we get to go to casinos all we want with all the buffets we want and slot machines and cheesy, but very entertaining magic shows like the world-famous white tigers: Blake and Victoria?" Eddy then asked.

"Not even close." Ed declined yet again.

"Does he-" Eddy started.

"We give up, Ed," Double D said, covering his mouthy friend's mouth before he could say any more. "Where does this other friend of yours live?"

"He actually lives on a farm." Ed then finally said.

"A freakin' farm? Ugh...!" groused Eddy. "Great, the kid's probably a total hayseed..."

"Eddy..." Double D warned and nudged.

"What? What'd I say?" Eddy shrugged.

"Don't be rude." Angelica warned Eddy as she put her arm around him.

"Oh... Uh, sure, Angelica." Eddy replied bashfully.

"And why is it you listen to whatever Angelica says and not us?" Double D asked with his hands on his hips.

"I like her better," Eddy teased with a smirk. "Like you like Kimiko better."

Double D just blushed in response and rubbed his head sheepishly. "W-Well... We'd better go get packed, shouldn't we?" he suggested.

"Yeah, good thinking!" Ed replied.

"All right, boys, let's do it!" Eddy replied before crossing his arms. "...Though I'm not looking forward to visiting a farm."

"It'll be a nice change of pace," Ed told him. "We should get out of the cul-de-sac more. There's not much going on over here with us anyway aside from BattleToads training.

"Yeah, you're right," Eddy agreed, looking over at the large-chinned jerk jock with a new female associate, a certain beautiful blonde girl resting in a lawn chair in a bikini with sunglasses, and two annoying children, a curly-haired boy with a loudmouthed redheaded girl. "Kevin's fixing his bike with that Vanity girl or whatever her name is... Snoresville! Nazz is lounging, and the twerps are playing blocks. Did I mention Nazz lounging?"

"What a gaggle of sad-sacks." Ed remarked.

"It's the curse of suburban living, Eddy. We're just too distant from the hustle and bustle of the big city," Double D said before stopping. "...This sounds strangely familiar. Haven't we said these things before?"

"...Now that you mention it, yeah, I think we have," Eddy replied. "What? Are we trying to recycle what was once funny a long time ago where we came from and trying to cash in on people's nostalgia?"

"...Let's just get packing and go home and meet back later." Double D suggested.

"Gotcha," Eddy nodded before the boys then split up to get ready. "Come on, Angelica. You can come with me."

Ed headed into the basement of the house and immediately started rummaging through his room, packing a suitcase full of things he'd decided to bring with him. There were then stomps coming down the basement steps. Ed rolled his eyes a bit in annoyance.

"ED! You have to do my laundry or I'll tell Mom!" Sarah glared as she carried her laundry basket.

"Ask me if I care, Sarah." Ed rolled his eyes.

"What're you doing anyway?" Sarah asked before looking at him. "...Are you moving out?" she then smirked.

"Don't kid yourself," Ed retorted. "I'm gonna go visit my pen pal. I need a break from this place, and a break from you."

"Oh, yeah?" Sarah smirked. "I bet you two deserve each other! Get outta here! No one will miss you-"

"SHUT UP, SARAH!" Ed yelled in her face, startling her again before grinning. "This is gonna be great though... I dunno what's gonna happen, but it already sounds better than being stuck here with you as my little sister. And Lloyd Nebulon thinks he has it bad in The Little Sister Department."

And after packing up his suitcase, Ed headed up the stairs and out the door to meet up with his friends at the bus stop. The Monoboroster family stepped outside of the house then.

"Son! Don't leave me alone here with your crazy mother and sister!" Mr. Monoboroster cried out.

"I hope he packed some clean underwear." Mrs. Monoboroster added in concern.

"Oh, poor Ed, out there alone in the cold, big, wide world alone and unprotected," Sarah pretended to pout before smirking rather eagerly. "Can I turn his room into a playroom for me and Jimmy?"

"...Sarah, don't get greedy." said Mrs. Monoboroster firmly.

Sarah merely blinked with wide eyes.

Double D found his parents fast asleep at home, so he decided to be quiet as he neatly and carefully packed his own stuff in a suitcase to get ready for the trip. He then saw his parents' favorite collection of sticky notes and decided to leave one behind for them before they would go to work as a very well-reserved and high-class lawyer and a very functioning, if a bit strict and firm, uptight college professor.

"GONE AWAY WITH FRIENDS, PROMISE TO CALL SOON WHEN YOU GET THIS MESSAGE, NO WORRIES TO YOU BOTH, MOTHER & FATHER, BE BACK HOME WHEN I CAN

- Eddward".

Eddy was then running back and forth in his bedroom as he packed his own suitcase while Angelica got ready too.

"I have a feeling this visit to Ed's... Pencil pal, was it? ...Will be more than just a visit." Angelica said to Eddy.

"With us, I wouldn't be surprised..." Eddy replied before he dug out a safe underneath his bed. He turned the knob a few times before it popped open. Reaching inside, he pulled out a small Alvin the Chipmunk (in his Chuck Jones-style design) stuffed animal and hid it in his suitcase.

"Aww... What was that?" Angelica asked curiously.

"...Just something my Mom gave me when I was little," Eddy replied. "She said Dad won it for her on their first date, so she decided to give it t'me."

"Aww... How cute~" Angelica beamed and gushed before hugging him. "That's so sweet."

"Uh... Thanks, Angelica," Eddy smiled bashfully. "Just promise me you won't say anything to the boys, okay?"

"Oh, okay, sure," Angelica nodded as she took a look at the chipmunk doll. "Does it have a name?"

"Yeah; his name's Alvin," Eddy replied. "I'll tell you more about 'im on the bus."

"Well... All right," Angelica nodded. "I think I have everything I have then."

"Let's get going then," Eddy replied. "This oughta be a pretty nice trip... Even if we gotta go down to a farm."

The two then got ready to go and leave the house while Eddy's parents seemed to be having an argument about their elder son, Eddy's brother: Matthew. Eddy decided it was best to keep out of the conversation altogether as he exited the house. Angelica looked over as they soon continued.

"Don't worry about them," Eddy told her. "It's best to not get involved."

Angelica merely nodded as they went to meet the other Eds at the bus stop.

"Glad you decided to join us, Eddy." Ed said to his short friend.

"Who, me? I wouldn't miss it for the world." Eddy replied as he sat on the bench nearby.

"It'll be nice to get out of the cul-de-sac though, especially having adventures away from home like LJ and Zofia and the others do." Double D noted.

"Indeed," Ed replied. "I look forward to meeting Sprig."

"Let's just hope farm life down there is better than it was when we moved in with Rolf." Eddy commented.

Soon, the bus arrived, and the group climbed aboard. Angelica looked over Peach Creek one last time before taking a deep breath as she came on the bus with the boys. The bus driver looked over and closed the door after she came on as Angelica, Ed, Double D, and Eddy soon came to take their seats.

"You okay?" Eddy asked Angelica.

"Oh... I'm fine," Angelica replied softly. "I'm just a little bit worried about Professor Byrd. I've known him for such a long time, but he said he wanted to keep a look out for The Dark Queen or anyone else dangerous on Earth that might threaten us, especially since I won't be with him for this trip."

"It'll be okay," Eddy told his girlfriend. "Besides, we sent Queenie packin' last time!"

"I guess I'm just scared that she'll end up coming back sometimes." Angelica said bashfully as she hugged herself.

"We're all here with ya either way," Eddy said as he put his arm around his girlfriend. "We ain't the greatest warriors you've ever known for nuthin'."

"Oh, Eddy. That's so sweet." Angelica smiled softly.

"I know." Eddy smirked.

Double D and Ed rolled their eyes briefly as the bus continued to ride out of town.

Down in the country, there was a farmhouse shown where a blonde boy was shown to be reading a comic book in his bedroom.

"SPRI-I-IG! DID YA DO YOUR CHORES FOR BEFORE YOUR CITY FRIENDS GET HERE?!"

"Yes!" The blonde boy answered before muttering to himself. "I am now..." he then mumbled to himself before he went to do some chores, but little did he, Angelica, or the Eds know that after today, would be a very life-changing experience for them, mostly for Sprig. He soon went to finish up his chores before he looked around as it was almost getting dark.
