A.N: Sorry for the long wait, I kinda got stuck a little bit before finally figuring out how to have this chapter go.

Central City, July 3, 2010, Morning
I woke up earlier than I should have, and I stretched as I sat up, yawning as my mind immediately went towards the journal on the desk across from my bed so I stood and walked towards the desk.

As I got to the desk, I opened the journal to a page and as I looked down at it, my mind started to race with the thoughts running through it as I tried to figure out which DC universe I was in before I chose to write down the two people who I remembered being Aqualad and I closed the journal, putting it in one of the drawers before getting up and left the room.

After breakfast, I head back to my room to waste time before I go meet Aquaman so I spent that time sketching out another version of my spider suit, this one being meant for stealth. As I finished the drawing, I immediately realized that I had drawn a rough version of the stealth suit from far from home, the only difference was that instead of the front part of the chest armor being blank, it now had a faint white spider symbol across it and instead of fingerless gloves, I turned them into full gloves.

I took one more look at the drawing before I put it away and started to tinker with my web-shooters, trying to improve them in some way as I get lost in my thoughts and I started to hum a random tune as I put the web-shooters back together, putting them back in the drawer before standing up and heading out the door to take a walk.

As I walked, I started thinking 'So far, I've met Dick Grayson, Wally West, and Roy Harper. If Aqualad turns out to be Garth then I'll know that I'm in a variant DC universe, on the other hand, if he turns out to be Kaldur then I'm in the Young Justice universe.'

I continued walking as I got lost in my thoughts before suddenly I bumped into someone and when I turned to apologize, I heard the person say "My apologies, my friend. I was unaware of my surroundings."

I looked up to see Aquaman standing there and with a bit of nervousness in my voice, I said "No problem, I just got lost in thought and wasn't watching where I was going. I thought that I was supposed to meet you elsewhere."

He had a kind smile on his face as he said "Yes, you were but I figured that we could take a walk as I teach you about what it means to be a leader, in case you find yourself in a position where you have to lead."

I thought about what Aquaman said for a few minutes before turning to him and saying "I know little of being a leader and I welcome any lesson that you could teach me. However, I don't see myself as leader material."

He had a thoughtful look on his face before he said "Many people don't believe that they have it in them to be a leader until they find themselves in a position where they would have to lead. However, you don't need to be a natural leader because one of the things that make a good leader is knowing when to make the hard decisions that no one else can."

"But what if I'm unable to make those decisions?" I asked as I considered the logic of what I had asked.

Aquaman turned to me and said "You put your trust in those around you to help shoulder the weight of those decisions, just because you would have to make those choices doesn't mean that you should make them alone. Most of all, a leader must inspire those who choose to follow them."

I turned to look at him as he finished and I thought about what he said before saying "I see, thank you for the lessons and for teaching me what being a leader means. Maybe someday, I'll be ready to be a leader but I don't think it'll be anytime soon."

"You're welcome, William. Before I return to Atlantis, let me impart some words of wisdom: Sometimes people have opportunities fall upon them, but it's up to you to recognize when those opportunities fall upon you." Aquaman said as he bid me goodbye and walked away.

I stood there for a few minutes, reflecting on what I learned about what it meant to be a leader. I started to walk along the sidewalk as I thought about if I should even bother being a hero, feeling as though I'm a completely different person than who I used to be but as I started thinking about it, a quote from a movie I watched in my previous life suddenly popped into my head: 'It always fits, eventually.'

As I was lost in thought, a hand landed on my shoulder and I turned around, ready to strike at whoever it was, only to see Wally standing there saying "Woah, it's just me, no need to throw a punch."

I relaxed a little before saying "Sorry about that, you just caught me off-guard."

"No problem. Hey, wanna hang out for a while?" Wally asked

"Sure, what do you want to do first?" I asked, and Wally smirked before we continued walking as we planned on what to do.

Finally, I got this chapter done.

Once more, I would like to apologize for taking so long to update. I'll try my best to not take so long unless I need to.

And to those who might feel that the lesson about what it means to be a leader is underwhelming, just know that it doesn't have to be a physical lesson but one that would have to cause you to think about it.

Feel free to read, review, follow, and favorite. Also, Just letting you know that I might need to take my time writing the next chapter so please, bear with me
