Night turned into day as the whole crew was snoring. Unfortunately for Jim, he was underneath the hammock of the Flatula alien. He kept getting the limbs blowing air onto his face and body, which felt gross to him.

"Oh! Oh!" He fell off trying to push the limbs away. "Ugh!" He reached for his boots and put one on. When he reached for the other, it actually hopped away from him. Jim let out a knowing sigh as it bounced all the way over into a pile of things. "Morph?" He rubbed at his face, groaning. He stumbled onto his feet, adjusting his clothes. He bent down to the pile. "Morph, knock it off. It's too early for this..."

Morph hopped around and kicked Jim in the butt. "Ow!" Jim whipped around to him. "Hey, Morph!"

He earned a raspberry before Morph turned back into himself. He grabbed Jim's real boot, which he hid earlier, and flew around the room. "Hey, come back here!" Jim chased after him.

"Come back here!" Morph mocked him and they headed for the hammock right in front of the staircase.

Jim gasped as he saw that he was gonna knock into Ari. "No, no, no, no!" He flailed as he skidded to a stop right in front of the girl. She was still asleep as her eyes were closed, cuddled in her blanket as her body rose up and down with her breathing. Morph flew right above the girl and Jim gave him a warning look. "Do not wake her up," He whispered and slowly stepped forward to go over her so he could get his boot.

Morph giggled mischievously and flew out of sight with the boot. "Morph!" He hissed, lunging forward, but he fell onto Ari. Her hammock spun around from the landing and it woke her up in the process.

"Aah!" She screamed as the hammock stopped spinning, with Jim hovering over the girl. "What in blazes-" She looked up and stopped talking as she saw him with a sheepish smile. Jim had his hands between her head, his body looming over hers. "Hi..." She greeted awkwardly.

"Hi!" He rubbed his neck at how this looked. "Morph t-took my shoe."

"Then I guess Morph's not the only one who has to apologize, is he?" She raised a brow playfully and he blushed in embarrassment as he now noticed their position.

"Oh! Ari, I-I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to-"

Morph came into view between their faces, waving the boot. They flinched upon seeing him and he took off again. "Morph! Get back here!" Ari whispered loudly, jumping out of bed and leaving. Jim fell off because of it, but scrambled onto his feet and ran after them.

They chased him onto the deck and Jim lunged forward, catching the boot. "Gotcha!" Morph dived into the grate as Ari jumped down the staircase, finding Jim on the floor with his boot. The shape-shifter appeared in front of them both and Jim sighed at him.

"You made me wake up Ari, you know that?"

He turned into a blow-fish and blew water into their faces in response. "Hey!" Ari laughed at him.

"That's it, you little squid!" Jim chuckled as he tried to grab Morph, missing.

"You little squid! You little squid!" Little Jim heads appeared and he tried to hit them with his boot, Ari moving her hands around trying and failing to catch them. Suddenly, they all disappeared and they peeked in, no longer seeing him.

Ari ran down into the dining room, followed by Jim who was hopping while putting his boot on. He landed at the last step as she looked around.

"Morph? I'll ask Silver to make more stew!" She called out, but that didn't get him out of hiding. "Oh yeah, that's right, you used that one on him a few days ago. Dang," She snapped her fingers in dismay.

They split up and scoped the area, seeing a crate. They peeked in it and saw purps. One of them opened up an eye, revealing it to be Morph. "Ha! Busted!" Jim dove in first and then pulled Ari in.

"Whoa!" She laughed as they landed in, both of them trying to grab Morph, who kept slipping out of their hands. Jim landed on his back and finally managed to grab him, nuzzling him on the head playfully. Ari landed over him since it was a tight space, the girl smirking down at Morph. "You evil little troublemaker."

Jim laughed and then looked up into Ari's eyes. Both of them were silent as they stared at each other. "...S-Sorry."

"Eh, it's not every day you chase a shape-shifter over a shoe," She shrugged, both of them snickering.

"But seriously, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said all that stuff about your dad. It wasn't my business," Jim looked away sadly. "I, uh, seem to be butting into a lot of things I shouldn't..."

She bit her lip, looking down. While it was the wrong way to go about it, she knew that he was concerned about her and giving her closure about her father. Even if the person responsible was still near her...

"It's fine, Jim. I know you're worried about it means for me," She rubbed her neck awkwardly. "But...it's not like I can do anything about Scroop getting away with murder...I feel so useless...my dad deserves better than me."

Jim looked up at her and tilted up her chin. She looked at him in surprise. "No...he doesn't."

She smiled softly at her friend and Morph looked between the two. He then flew behind Ari's head and nudged her closer to Jim. Their lips touched, shocking the both of them. Ari quickly pulled away, feeling like she wanted to crawl into a hole. Right then she realized that maybe the real reason she didn't keep in contact with him was because...she was scared to admit her feelings to him. And that if he had rejected her, he'd stop being friends with her.

"Oh! God, I'm sorry," She stammered quickly, looking anywhere but at him, not seeing that Jim hadn't changed his expression. "I don't know how that happened, I-"

Jim reached out and held her cheek, causing her to be quiet. She then looked into his eyes, getting lost in them. She saw that he wasn't disgusted or confused at all, but really looking at her.

"I..." She faltered, losing her train of thought as he continued looking into her eyes. He then pressed his forehead to hers and pressed his lips against hers softly. She felt herself getting flushed as she kissed him back, closing her eyes. She reached out and placed her hand on top of his. He linked fingers with hers. It was their first kiss, so they were both a little inexperienced, but they didn't seem to care.

Ari pulled away from Jim a few seconds later, her eyes half-closed. Jim's eyes were the same as they were both processing what just happened.

"Ari..." He murmured quietly and she let out a small breath, pressing her forehead to his.

"Jim..." She started off. "I-"

"Look. What we're saying is, we're sick of all this waiting!" A crew member spoke up in frustration, getting their attention. Jim looked up from his spot and turned around to get a better look. Ari joined his side and peeked out from the hole.

"There's only the four of them left."

"We are wanting to move!"

"We don't move till we got the treasure in hand!" A familiar voice growled, as well as a robotic arm.

Ari put her hand over her mouth in shock, both of them in disbelief. "I say we kill 'em all now," Scroop spoke up above Silver, who yanked him down by the face.

"I say what's to say!" He growled out, grabbing Scroop by the throat. "Disobey my orders again, like that stunt you pulled with Mr. Arrow, and so help me, you'll be joining him!" Silver threw Scroop into the barrel, the trio bracing themselves from the impact. Jim hugged Ari, who reached up and caught Morph in her hands. The two looked back up to the hole, slightly afraid they'd be caught listening.

"And the lass' father?! You were only supposed to scare him for his money, not kill the man! When I told you to take the loot from him, he was supposed to be alive, you twit!"

"You said leave no one alive. How did you know she was the same girl from the fire?" Scroop argued back. Ari, who still had her mouth covered, felt like her heart was shattering hearing that. She silently let tears stream down her face. She couldn't believe it...Silver ordered not only her father dead, but her as well? If she hadn't escaped, she would definitely be dead...

"That's not important! You killed the girl's last relative!"

"We killed him. Strong talk, but I know otherwise," Scroop reached into the barrel, the two separating to opposite sides. He searched for a purp, Ari squeezing her eyes shut.

"You got something to say, Scroop?" Silver challenged him as the girl quickly handed Scroop the fruit. Luckily, he didn't think twice about it since he was just about to look into the barrel.

"It's those kids," Scroop hissed with an evil smile and Silver's look immediately changed. "Methinks you have a soft...spot for 'em," He pierced the purp, with some juice falling from it.

The others seemed to agree with him and Silver glanced around before glaring towards Scroop. "Now, mark me, the lot of ya. I care about one thing, and one thing only! Flint's trove!" Jim's face fell at that. "You think I'd risk it all for the sake of some nose-wiping little whelp and some stupid, no-good orphan?"

The two glanced at each other, Jim's breathing picking up as Ari closed her eyes sadly. Hearing those words hurt them both...Jim instinctively pulled in Ari for a hug as he felt like he lost someone dear to him...just like when his father left him.

"What was it now? Oh, you two got the makings of greatness in ya," Scroop mocked him and he immediately snapped.

"Shut yer yap! I cozied up to those kids to keep them off our scent." Ari looked up at him with a glare, enraged that he would trick them like that. "But I ain't gone soft."

"Land ho!" Someone yelled loud enough for them to hear, and they cheered as they'd soon get the treasure. Morph got out of Ari's hands and happily followed, leaving the two heartbroken teens.

"There it is!" The crewmember called out, pointing up ahead. "Feast eyes and click heels, if you got 'em!"

They saw indeed Treasure Planet in their sights and Silver felt his pocket for his telescope. However, he couldn't find it on him. "Where the devil's me glass?"

His telescope was sitting on the table right near the barrel. Jim stepped out first and held Ari by the waist, helping her out gently. As soon as he released her, he stumbled forward, knocking over the glass a bit. He gripped the table and Ari stepped up to him.

"Jim. Jim," She snapped him back to reality by placing her hands on his shoulders. "It's okay..." The look on his eyes told her that he wasn't emotionally okay. "We'll figure this out later, but for right now, we have to warn Amelia and Delbert before something happens to them."

"You're right!" He immediately realized and they made a break for it. However, she ran into Jim as he stopped in front of her, and for good reason because of the shadow looming over them.

"Jimbo, Lass," Silver spoke, glancing to the crew and then back at them. He started walking towards them and Jim grabbed Ari's hand as they stepped away from him. "Playing games, are we?"

"Yeah..." Jim mumbled, and by the tone of Silver's voice, he now knew that they had heard everything. "Yeah, we're playing games," His voice was different as well as they backed away into the table.

"Oh, I see," Silver rubbed his chin. "Well, I was...never much good at games," His claw turned into a gun and it cocked, earning a small gasp from Ari. "Always hated to lose," He held the gun behind his back and the two felt around the table behind them.

"Hmm," Jim merely responded as Ari grabbed a plate. Jim managed to get a small knife. "Us too!" He lunged forward, stabbing Silver in the weak part of his robotic leg.

"Aah!"

Ari then swung forward her arm with the plate in hand, cutting off the gun. It landed on the floor and Jim took her hand, pulling her up to the staircase. She picked up a part of her skirt as she kept up with him.

Silver gripped the edge while in pain, and his eye turned red. He scoped the area before finally noticing Ari and Jim closing the door to Amelia's room. "Ohh. Blast it all." He stood up, holding onto his leg. He then blew a whistle to get the attention of the crew. "Change in plan, lads!" He changed his hand into a large sword. "We move now!"

They all cheered and made their move as they ran past him. "Strike our colors, Mr. Onus."

The six-eyed alien saluted to him. "With pleasure, Captain!" He removed the flag and the large alien broke through the armory. He stepped out with a bunch of guns for them and they headed for the map room.

Silver had an evil smirk on his face as their flag rose behind him...
