Our story takes place after Humanity narrowly avoids destroying itself and despite all odds manages to learn from its mistakes. Being a better, kinder species when they encounter another race in need they pull out all the stops to lend assistance.

EDI monitors her crewmates, hoping to learn more about Organics, and more importantly, how to implement humour in her core programming. She wonders about the idea of dating and learns what drives Organics to do it, forming a hypothesis on whether Synthetics would also benefit from the experience.

While other species fear spend as little time as possible in the void opting for the easily accesible garden worlds the majority spending all their life never leaving it humanity embraces it they go out with abandon go out of the light homeworld and never look back.

I'm not a good person. I've killed, and will continue to. However, here and now I have a chance to be better. To make the galaxy better and I'm going to take it.
