Chapter 2 The Were-Cheetahs
The night that followed after the encounter with the robbers and after finding the necklace the girls went back to their apartment for some rest. However that night it started very strange for the Korean tomboy who not because of Honey Lemon's snoring. It was something the medallion was emanating that was making her feel stronger and also very much in full power and not having to sleep too much she just woke up at 4 in the morning to watch the moon which was nearly full. Once the sun rose up in the sky her condition didn't changed at all on the contrary, she was still feeling like she was able to lift a mountain which confused and worried her roommate quite a lot but didn't said anything yet. Arriving at the Lucky Cat Café in the afternoon, they noticed the others already waiting for them gathered. After getting to the table near the others to start eating, it was confusing for all of them about the fact that GoGo had asked not only for a salad but also for a fresh stake which she rarely asks for alongside a coffee.
"So GoGo how do you feel today?" Honey Lemon asked.
"Oh boy, I feel like lifting a whole mountain." GoGo said very energetic while eating her salad.
"I can already tell that." Hiro then placed a hand on her shoulder to track her attention and ask what was happening.
"Ahh, Honey Lemon can you tell us what happened last evening?" Hiro asked.
"Everything was fine just a small robbery at an ATM by regular thieves and nothing much, however." She said going for her purse to pull out the medallion.
"GoGo found this on an alley when we were about to leave, we thought that it was lost, but when GoGo touched it she said that she was feeling strange." Honey Lemon explained while Hiro took the necklace to look at it.
"And after GoGo touched it she started to behave like this." Wasabi asked pointing at her who was eating as if she had worked out all day or not even ate for 2 days straight.
"Ohh this is really strange now." Fred said getting more and more interested "Do you think that this medallion could have a supernatural power in it?"
"I really don't know and to be honest I don't think it could be the case." Hiro said.
"Maybe we don't know, but after the event 3 days ago the supernatural surely is a possibility as well now." The Latina said remembering how she behaved when under the influence of that supernatural tea and literally behaved like a Goth or part vampire till yesterday, she didn't had to consume blood or anything but she made a small wardrobe which includes darker clothes. Even with that she was glad that period didn't last for too long.
"You know what that means then." Asked Wasabi.
"Need to visit Granville's supernatural niece. Oh wonder what will mean this time." Fred asked with excitement before the genious boy turned to GoGo who had literally finished the stake in less than 10 minutes before turning to her salad.
"Hey GoGo I would go to Professor Granville today to ask about some things. So we could help you in whatever is happening right now."
"Hiro I am perfectly fine. I don't think you need to disturb fangs today."
"Ahh, still I would go and pay her and her aunt a visit. What would you do today however?" Hiro asked.
"I believe I will go for a stroll in the woods later." She said before Aunt Cass came with a note.
"Hey GoGo someone left a note for you." She said giving her the note which was by all accounts a love letter that invited her to a place, however it made her very annoyed.
"Seriously." She asked not liking it.
"What happened?" Honey Lemon asked before the Korean gave her the letter which for her it sounded cute however when Fred looked at it he noticed something in the writing style.
"Of you got a secret admirer this is so cute."
"Not quite." GoGo said.
"Not quite." Fred said a bit indignant although he is dating the cousin of the sender.
"The writing style matches that of Richadson Mole." Baymax reported showing the picture of the sender on his belly before everyone noticed it as well all knowing that this one Fred's rival has a liking for GoGo and they also know that for her he is nothing but an annoyance.
"So what you will do in this case?" Honey Lemon asked.
"I know exactly what I will do, and that is making him stop all the flirting." She started holding her coffee mug with all her strength and her eyes were starting to glow a shade of yellow "And to leave me alone." She crushed the mug in her hand while her eyes started to glow turn more feline like which alarmed the others.
"Oops. Was it me that did this?" GoGo asked noticing her friends and Aunt Cass who gave her a long look and the Korean immediately pulled out her money to pay for the mug.
"Sorry for this, didn't know what got in me." She said exiting the café.
"Wow I guess GoGo has a bad morning today, although she didn't had to pay for the crushed mug." Cass said while Noodle Burger came to pick up the pieces.
"Mother is right about Miss having a bad morning hopefully the order will make her feel better." Said the former mascot.
"I go start the car." Wasabi said knowing where they have to go now.
"Wait for us Wasabi." Hiro said before everyone went for the exit to get to his car and started to drive.
A bit later the group arrived at Professor Granville's home where Hiro immediately ring at the door hoping that either she or her niece were home.
"I would usually not try to disturb Professor Granville and her family especially at her own home." Hiro said.
"Is this because of the people she is related to?" Wasabi asked.
"Is there any doubt." Hiro asked.
"Well thinking that what we knew in the past about creatures of the night it shouldn't be. But between us there is no doubt that this is the reason why." Wasabi said before the door opened and it was none other than professor Granville.
"Ahh, Mr. Hamada I didn't expected you to come by today." She said.
"Good day Professor yeah there is an issue that needs to be discussed with Emma, I hope that we didn't disturbed you in any way." Hiro said.
"You didn't disturb at all." She said letting them in. "We only had a small family meeting." She said before Hiro noticed 2 people in the main hall of the house was none other than her husband Ruben alongside a mulatto 19 year old boy with straight clean hair and has format elegant clothes like long black trousers and a white t-shirt has yellow eyes, effect of the vampire plasma from Emma's mother, his aunt and near them was Emma who was pouring tea for all of them.
"Ruben, Will please meet one of the youngest students at SFIT, Hiro Hamada, and his friends." She said presenting them.
"Ah a pleasure to meet you all." He said.
"Pleasure is on our side, Grace told me a lot about you." Ruben said coming to the boy with a smile on his face.
"She told us quite a lot about you and Will as well." Hiro said shaking hands with him but feeling a bit ashamed for what they have just did by intruding in this family reunion of the dean. "Professor Van Helsing."
"I didn't expected your new friends to come by cousin." Will said with a smile to Emma.
"Neither have I Will." Emma said with a smile.
"So what brings you all here?"
"First of all we didn't want to disturb your family meeting by any ways but we need some advice regarding something a friend of ours had found and might be under its influence." Hiro started with a stressed smile.
"And we don't know if it is a good or bad and you might be the only ones that might know something." Honey Lemon started.
"Due to your status as hunters of supernatural creatures Mr. Van Helsing and your niece's position as a half vampire, who by all accounts it is the most amazing things one could have ever found out." Fred said in excitement.
"Ahh sure." Ruben said.
"Sorry about this uncle." Emma said.
"You don't need to worry Emma, I am glad that they aren't loose lips especially if they are also Big Hero 6. And yes I know about your secret my wife and my brother told me about this." Ruben said.
"By all accounts one should consider himself privilege to know them personally." Will said with a calm tone.
"We are honored as well." Honey Lemon said.
"However we would rather let the experts handle unfriendly supernatural beans." Wasabi said.
"If one finds out about the supernatural, it has to go with it no matter what you will get used to everything." Will explained.
"Good said Will." Grace said patting her son's back.
"And what brings you all here?" Emma asked pouring some tea for them as well.
"Well the other night GoGo and Honey Lemon had to stop a robbery at an ATM and GoGo found this necklace." Hiro started getting off his backpack showing her the necklace.
"We were wondering if you know something about it." Honey Lemon said while Emma looked at the necklace with wide eyes.
"Now this is something I didn't expected." She said taking the necklace.
"Does any of you know what it is, because GoGo started to behave strangely immediately after touching it." Honey Lemon started.
"How did she behaved exactly?" Professor Granville asked.
"She started to be very energetic and had a very big appetite finishing a stake a in less then 10 minutes followed by her favourit salade and then a mug of coffee." Honey Lemon explained.
"Which she smashed in her hands when she got angry as if it was nothing." Fred said.
"But the scariest thing was when her eyes started to glow yellow like yours." Wasabi said pointing to Will.
"My eyes look like this naturally but with your friend is something else."
"Indeed and we thought that it has to do with the necklace." Hiro said.
"Well this now was very expected, especially from such an object." Ruben said looking at it.
"But what is the thing with it?" Hiro asked.
"It's a were-creature medallion, you can tell this simply by the phases of the moon that are engraved on it, alongside the runes and inscriptions." Emma explained showing them.
"Wait were-creatures like, werewolves?" Fred asked and she nodded.
"This day can't get any more EXCITING!"
"I wouldn't get that excited." Wasabi said fearful.
"Especially, if we think of werewolves." Honey Lemon said very worried about GoGo and what could happen with her.
"Ah yeah about that, there is more to know about this actually." Emma said looking at them.
"How so."
"Were-creatures aren't like the ones depicted in media." Will came.
"Situation is that were-creatures maintain their human intelligence and the idea of the beast taking control isn't quite accurate. The transformation is however very painful for one who is a were-creature or a lycanthrope, like for the general example the werewolves. And they can't control the transformation during the full moon." Grace said and Hiro alongside the others only looked at her.
"Even I picked up some information regarding the supernatural."
"So if GoGo is to change she wouldn't actually turn wild and loose her mind isn't it?" Honey Lemon said.
"That is true, she wouldn't." Ruben said calming the Latina and the Afro-American down.
"However there are some aspects to be known about lycanthropes." Will said.
"Ahh before that I need to ask, are you sometimes get nicknamed Alucard?" Fred asked.
"My eyes do give it away isn't it?" He asked with a smile to them and he leaned his head.
"Not that much, however there is one aspect to know it seems that dhampirs have the habit of maturing quite fast. I am not a dhampir but the plasma aunt Mary gave to my mother did extend the side effects on me to a degree." Will explained with a smile.
"Between us this is one of the things I am glad about. But in any case returning to subject at hand you must know that were-creatures or lycanthropes can became one by different means, one of them is been bitten by one who has the virus of lycanthrope similar to vampires. But aside from that there are also object that contain in some opinions the curse or the spell of lycanthrope that could turn one into a were-creature. In the case of object they are usually kept within the families as heirlooms or magical objects to pass the spell to the future generation. The methods of creating such object like this medallion are of course diverse but it is necessary to use either the blood from a were-creature or combine the blood of a human with the animal whom one would like to turn into a were-creature. This is from what information I managed to gain." Ruben explained.
"We understand, but the thing that we don't know is why would one let this medallion in an alley and not come back to look for it." Wasabi asked.
"Hmm, now I am not too much an expert in were-creatures I mostly know basics regarding this." He said.
"Well then is there anyone that could tell a lot more?"
"What about your mother Emma?" Asked Honey Lemon.
"Yeah my mother and most of my family do know a bit more but I didn't interacted too close with lycanthropes and neither do they."
"Well your mother been a vampire was kind of obvious since it is said you are suppose to be rivals." Fred said.
"They aren't quite rivals, they do interact, but each prefer cautious interactions, both because of several issues. I told that some vampires are jerks; well the thing with were-creatures, wolves especially is because they are sometimes behaving savagely like brutes. As for the rivalry the thing is next, due to the fame that the media gave, each some members from each side are competing whose species is more famous and scarier." She explained.
"Well at least we do know some more things about this subject." Said Wasabi.
"It's not quite enough if you want to know. There are many more aspects about this that you need to know about." Will said.
"You all kind of know some things about this aspect as well. And of course we know that you Professor Van Helsing are more vampire hunters not werewolf hunters."
"Me and my siblings do have a cousin who took up werewolf hunting but she is crazy by many aspects. Since when she discovered a werewolf gone rogue she hunts them sometimes during the night when it shifts. It's messy and unpleasant, plus she turned a bit crazy because of this." Ruben explained.
"Can we call her in this case?" Honey Lemon said.
"She might be a good hunter but she is not quite a viable source of information."
"Well is there someone else?" Hiro asked before a call came on Baymax's belly and it was none other than Karmi.
"Hiro, Emma, hi how are things going?" She asked before everyone started to look at him with smirks on their faces.
"One moment." He said getting Baymax, Emma leading them to her room.
"Things are going well for the moment." Hiro said with a stressed smile.
"You are professor Granville's home?"
"Yes and I dragged him in my room so he would not get embarrassed." She explained.
"I see but how come that you went to her home?" Karmi asked.
"There is a situation with GoGo and is regarding the supernatural." Emma said taking the other girl aback.
"The girl that called is the one who was literally under house arrest after an unpleasant event?" Will asked.
"Yes and I really like that she and Hiro are getting along more and more." The dean said placing both hands on her son's shoulders.
"And we wait to become more than that." Honey Lemon said with a smile.
"They will for sure I can tell you that." Ruben said.
"So wait you mean GoGo found a medallion that could turn her into a were-creature?" Karmi asked of course Hiro didn't mention how they found it.
"Yeah, but like with vampires they aren't how they are portrayed, meaning that when they turn they aren't becoming the beasts they are shown to be."
"That is really a relief now, however I need to ask you said that she might turn into a were-creature because of the medallion, but do you know what kind of were-creature?" She asked.
"We are trying to figure it out." Hiro said while Emma was inspecting the medallion and realised something important.
"And I believe I know in what kind of creature she could turn into, a werecat."
"Werecat?" Both Hiro and Karmi asked in unison.
"Yes." She said showing the medallion pointing to a silhouette in the center of it, the silhouette had the shape of feline.
"This engraving gives it all up, it's a feline. If it was for werewolves, the engraving must be in the shaped of a wolf or having the head of a wolf. But in this case the engraving is in the shape of a feline."
"So this mean GoGo could turn into a werecat, meaning probably a bipedal feline with some human features just like with werewolves in some media." Hiro said.
"Question is however." Professor Granville entered the room along with the others. "In what kind of werecat would she turn since there are multiple subspecies."
"Wait, multiple species of werecats?" Wasabi asked.
"They depend on the position on the globe, and in this case, on the medallion." Will explained.
"I do know one that could help us in this case, of course if you accept this Uncle Ruben." Emma said.
"You can but don't show too much of the room."
"Wait who could help us." Honey Lemon asked.
"It's someone that we know and helps the hunters." Ruben said with a reticent voice however.
"You don't seem too keen on that, is there something to be known?" Wasabi asked.
"It is a good person but the thing is that she is sometimes corky and mischievous." He said.
"And it's not only that." Will added.
"Meaning?" Wasabi asked.
"She is a 300 years old vampire, and the one who turned my mother when she had to rescue her from the fire." Emma said with a smile reviling her teeth and fangs while the others turn a bit pale.
"Ahh, you know I have nothing against you and any good vampire but I still am having my reservations." Wasabi said going in a corner of a room.
"Ohh this is getting more interesting." Fred said.
"You really are too much into comics." Ruben said.
"And how are we going to speak with her, by video chat or laptop if she uses it?" Hiro asked.
"She uses it but it will take too long, we will use something else." The dhampir girl said going to one of her backpack and go out a square shaped mirror the size of a tablet with dark frame and some engravings with small bats on the margins.
"What is that mirror?" Honey Lemon asked.
"This one is called a Mirror of Shadows it looks like a normal mirror but it's used by supernatural creatures to communicate with one another. Just like a video chat but in this case it's not the internet that is used here. To activate it one needs to clap it's hands and order what you want." She explained placing it on the desk to face them.
"And I guess the name Mirror of Shadows is used because supernatural creatures have to remain in shadows." Karmi said.
"Exactly."
"And is used to scare unwanted visitors, when entering in a haunted house." Fred asked.
"Correct. Those things are very useful especially if you also want to see something in real time an event or a person no matter who they are." Ruben said.
"And I guess that you also have one professor." Karmi asked.
"Indeed, the rule is One person, one mirror no more no less. They are hard to make and must be on order. They can make only 10 to 20 once a year." Professor Granville said.
"Well one can always wish for something like this." Wasabi commented.
"Well then Emma let's call her." Hiro said with a stressed smile.
"You will present the medallion by the way Hiro." Emma said with a smirk turning the boy pale.
"She will not bite and she can't go pass the mirror." She said but the boy was still uncertain.
"Well then Mirror of Shadows call Countess Iana Karasi." Emma said clapping her hands and the mirror started to turn into a void for several seconds before an image form inside a room with curtains drawn at the windows, every furniture been in Gothic style while the cushins and the pillows were dark blue and in front of them stands a beautiful woman with oval face and long hair dark hair flowing in her back and been in her mid 30s dressed in a long dark coat having a small glass containing a crimson liquid whom Hiro didn't want to call it by name.
"Oh, Emma, never I you will call me I hope things are alright there in California, your parents told me already where you are." She said with a soft smile.
"Everything is alright here." She said with a smile while the woman noticed the boy near her.
"And I see that you have made a friend there."
"Not just him." She said with a smile while the boy waved his hand with a stressed smile at meeting a 300 year vampire woman.
"Ah hello My Lady, my name is Hiro Hamada. It's pleasure to meet you." Hiro said with a stressed smile.
"Come now young one you don't need to be afraid since I wouldn't bite." She said taking a sip from her drink.
"Yeah I know."
"So how can I help you with?" She asked.
"Well one of our friends, found this last night while in the city." Hiro started showing the medallion. "Emma told me and the others that it is a werecat medallion and I believe that it started to affect her. Emma told us a lot more about this."
"Get it closer to the mirror please I need to see it closer." Hiro moved much closer and brought the medallion very close to the glass while the vampire in the mirror took a very close look.
"Ah indeed, I must tell you that I do have and an interest in different magic jewels. And what you got here is a very rare one for the matter, it's not any werecat medallion, it is a were-cheetah medallion." She said.
"Were-cheetah medallion?"
"Indeed, the engraving if you watch attentively is that of a cheetah, however the runes do get it away as well if one of course knows about them in the different ornaments of the were-creatures. Can you tell how your friend found it and got into the possession of it?"
"She found it on an alley, from what I can tell it was dropped by someone, she called if someone lost it but no one answered." He explained making the countess think.
"Hmm, I see this is from I know a practice some call it as the passing of the Object."
"Passing of the Object?"
"Were-creatures could be made in 2 ways. Biting is one of them when the lycanthrope virus or venom is passed to another person. The second is by sorcery and magic, in this case African shamans can create those medallions that could give one the ability to shift into an anthropomorphic humanoid cheetah or even lion or leopard. Same could be said about were-tiger in Asia or were-jaguars in Central and South America. Depends on the continent but in anyways if the person left it there and didn't came back for it means that it passed the medallion to someone who has in this case likes solitude and also has a powerful mind and is fast in the actions."
"This is exactly how our friend is?"
"Well in this case the one that left it could be either someone who had for a long time the medallion but is no more able to use it due to old age or was a shaman who for a time observed the one he "targeted" one wouldn't usually do something like this unless that person is pure at heart and who would help other people. Either that or it was someone who simply didn't want to have the burden of having the medallion anymore since those are usually passed from one generation to the other." She explained while Hiro looked at the medallion.
"I think I understand, thank you Countess."
"There is another think however I believe she didn't went through her first shift?"
"The first shift?"
"The first shift is the most important this for a were-creature especially with a charmed object. Your friend has to wear it during the first shift, otherwise I believe you already know how were creatures are portrayed in the media." The Countess said.
"Wait so if she doesn't have the medallion when she has to turn the beast might take her over?" Hiro asked.
"Unfortunately yes." The countess said taking another sip "The medallion acts like a counterbalance. The magic in it gives one the possibility to shift but also has the animal spirit in it. When one finds it for the first time, all the magic goes into the person and when it is time to change during the full moon that said person must wear the medallion so the animal spirit can go back in it before the time strikes midnight or before the transformation is completed as a safety measure. The spell however wears off while the person is the were-form the medallion having to charge back which takes up to a month."
"So she has to wear the medallion at all costs when she changes for the first time."
"Indeed."
"Thank you a lot for the help Countess." Emma said.
"Any time, sends my best regards to your aunt and uncle by the way. Even with that I know there are inside, alongside your other friends." The countess said with a calm soft smile on her face clapping her hands to end the communication.
"So this means that GoGo has to wear the medallion for when she changes in the next full moon." Honey Lemon said.
"Question is when is the next full moon I don't know how it will be with her very super active as if she could lift whole buildings." Wasabi said.
"This surely could bring some troubles." Karmi said.
"Ah you know, there is one aspect that isn't talk too much, and that is the fact that were-creatures don't necessarily need the full moon to transform." Emma started.
"They don't? Well that's great it means she could exhaust the magic earlier and I get to see a real were-creature?" Fred said.
"She would not like it for sure and I wouldn't get too excited about this however." Will said crossing his arms.
"How so?" Wasabi asked.
"A were-creature can turn without needing a night with full moon if they get on edge." Professor Van Helsing said.
"What do you mean, on edge professor?" Honey Lemon asked.
"By getting on edge it means been provoked and getting very angry. This is one of the reasons many werewolves and other were-creatures could turn out of control mostly for 5 or 10 even 15 minutes, but could cause a lot of damage." Explained Will.
"This might be a problem now." Wasabi said.
"Could there be something that might get her angry?" Emma asked before the others looked at each other.
"Ah there might." Fred said pulling out the note from earlier.
"Richardson Mole an eleven to twelve year old comic freak invited her to a "date"?" Emma asked.
"Yeah, this might cause trouble now. A lot of trouble." Wasabi said.
"And unfortunately for her, tonight there is a full moon so by all accounts it is advisable she wears the medallion and also stays in an inconspicuous place like the Muirahara Woods."
"Good thing she had in mind a camping trip." Wasabi said.
"By the way, do any of you know where she could be right now?" Asked Professor Van Helsing.
"She didn't told us after she left unfortunately." Hiro said.
"Use the mirror to locate her but after that you should get her to the woods, there is someone I know that could help her whenever she is in that form and knows more about this stuff."
"Yes professor."
"Ahh quick question I need to ask, how did you felt when your brother married you present sister-in-law, speaking about Emma's parents." Hiro asked with an awkward smile.
"You do have the chills when speaking with the Countess I can see from miles away." The man said looking at him with raised eyebrows.
"I do admit that I thought it was crazy and had my reservations about this, but unlike other things I am glad he found someone who also tries to become a normal person. And believe it or not it's better then what one of my brothers' thinks."
"Aren't you 5 siblings in total?" Honey Lemon asked.
"We were 6 in total actually one of our brothers cut ties to all of us after that event."
"Why is that?"
"He took the old style stance when hunting supernatural creatures. When I said that to leave this thing slide he didn't want to listen and so he decided to cut all ties with the rest of us." He explained feeling a little down about this.
"I am sorry for this." Karmi said.
"You don't need to apologies not everyone accepts the change especially when it comes to someone dating or marring a creature of the night."
"But it's not like it doesn't happen now isn't it?" Fred asked.
"Oh they do happen, not very often but they do." Grace said leaning near her husband with their son.
"Some would consider Grace to be a dhampir anyways, and the brother I told you about wouldn't accept this as well."
"I saw the eyes of your wife that appear when one year comes when she get the plasma. It's creepy and sorry to say this Professor but your brother doesn't know what he is losing." Karmi said with a shy smile.
"We all have the same view in this case." Grace said with a smile.
"Yet you don't know that but my mother's eyes could appear again if you provoke it isn't necessary just when is the 'one year anniversary' when she got the treatment." Will explained holding her mother's hand.
"Thanks for the point." Hiro said feeling as if he was freezing surely he will not try to cross her for a long time.
"In any ways let's see where GoGo could be." Honey Lemon said turning to the Mirror "You said that if you order it the mirror could also show where a person or place is?"
"Yes you just need to clap your hands and say what you want." Emma explained.
"Alright ah, Mirror of Shadows, show us where GoGo Tomago is?" Honey Lemon ordered clapping her hands and the mirror moved from her reflection back to a vortex and there it was GoGo back at their apartment finishing a picnic bag, a sleep bag and a tent for camping.
"Well this really works." Honey Lemon said before everyone noticed where she was.
"She is back at the apartment and prepared herself for a camping trip." Fred said.
"Well she said that she would want to go camping, and since that there will be a full moon tonight and has to wore the medallion it's even better. That till we figure something about how to deal with it afterwards." Hiro said.
"If things go smoothly that is." Emma said before turning to the mirror who seemed to want to practice some kickboxing but without the gloves and started to hit the bag with full force.
"This is now kind of troubling."
"Ohh yeah, she said that she would deal with Richardson as well so he would stop flirting with her leave her alone. Not like I don't want that." Fred said.
"The note said to meet her in the evening?" Baymax said.
"That would now be the scare of the century for him." Fred said with a large smile imagining his reaction to it before the others looked at him with.
"You do know that if she doesn't have the medallion Mole not only would get the scare of his life but might also get some broken limbs and ribs." Karmi said.
"Advisable you should get to her." Emma said before hearing a bang and a in the mirror GoGo's bag touched the ceiling before the girl caught it before hitting her.
"As soon as possible before evening comes." Karmi said worrying about what could happen now.
"We leaver right away." Hiro said
"And remember, get her to the Muirahara Woods my niece will wait there to get you to someone who could explain what your friend has to do while having the medallion and been a were-cheetah." Ruben said.
"We will be there." Wasabi said.
"Another supernatural event might mean another supernatural story for where I can get inspiration." Karmi said.
"Did you got requests to do stories with were-creatures as well?" Emma asked.
"Werewolves mostly but even werecats can be interesting as well." She said before she heard a knock on her door.
"Got to go, call me how things went." She ended the call.
"We see then tonight. Hopefully before she gets out of hand." Hiro said.
"Before you leave." Will came before them "We will going to need those." He gave them a small package to Hiro and inside were darts wit tranquilizer.
"Tranquilizers."
"Each dart has enough to drop a cheetah down when out of control." He said with a calm voice.
"We will surely need them if GoGo is angered by Mole." Wasabi said.
"Without a doubt, thanks Will." Honey Lemon said.
"Any time." He said while the others went outside the room to go outside the house leaving the Van Helsings and Granville there.
"I can already guess who might be the perfect one to give advice in this situation father." Will said with a smile.
"Who else could be better, then one of the students who also graduated this year and who is also a leader."
"You mean the one named William Wolf the one who bares your name, cousin." Emma said to the boy who only smiled back.
"It was by chance in any case."
"Even with that who else could one turn to then him. Who is in the tenth generation of a long dynasty." Grace said with a smirk.
Near the central park in the evening the Korean went into the park, all in all that day for her was one of the perfect days she could have got, since she was somehow full of energy for the entire day and barely broke a sweat. She didn't knew why she felt that way but she liked it and somehow she was feeling like she wished to go on a camping trip to the woods and not only for bird watching that is but to somehow to feel wild. Even thou she liked the idea that came to her mind she felt it to be odd however despite this she would do it after dealing with a nuisance. As the evening air of summer was starting to come and sun was settling she felt the evening making her even more energetic.
"Hmm I really don't know why I felt so energetic, but I surely liked." She said to herself before he phone rang and noticed Hiro calling.
"Hello."
"GoGo where are you?"
"Walking in the park, where are you?"
"Trying to find since you were preparing to go on a camping trip and we saw your bags been ready."
"Oh yeah you saw that I felt a lot of energy today and saw fit to prepare for a camping trip. I will come back soon." She said before she heard Honey Lemon's voice.
"Ah actually could you wait where you are we need to give you to wear the medallion you had found yesterday."
"Let me guess the medallion has supernatural powers isn't it? Since it's probably because of that I felt so energetic one would say like dhampir or a vampire."
"Yeah it is of supernatural power but not on Emma's supernatural side. It actually has the possibility of turning one into a were-cheetah." Hiro said tracking the Korean girl's attention.
"A what?"
"The medallion has a lycanthrope spell which could turn someone into a were creature in your case you got the spirit of a cheetah and so it could turn you into a…."
"Hey there." Another voice came and GoGo noticed Mole walking on road trying to look seductive to her but it was actually annoying to her.
"Keep your idea an annoyance came." GoGo said ending the call.
On the other line Hiro, Fred, Mini-Max and Honey Lemon were suited up for every possibility flying on Baymax while Wasabi was in his car, since they will have to meet someone in the forest and didn't wanted to give away their identities they will go by car.
"She ended the call." Hiro said.
"I guess that Mole had already arrived that she did this." Fred said.
"We need to get to them fast." Honey Lemon said looking at the sun that just settled and the moon was in the sky. "Before the change starts."
"And to stop the wild cat from causing destruction." Mini-Max said.
"Baymax scan for GoGo." Hiro ordered and the robot scanned.
"Scanning for GoGo…..Scan complete, GoGo is in the main park, with Richardson Mole. I scan that GoGo is beginning to feel more and more energetic and agitated." He said.
"Increase speed Baymax we need to get to her quick." Hiro said and he accelerated.
"You know I was looking for you beauty and I had to look for you." He said with a smirk.
"You really don't understand that I am not interested in you." GoGo said while the last sun rays were still there.
"Oh please you know that isn't true, especially why anyone wouldn't like a Mole." Mole said going to her and taking her hand which infuriated her and something was now attempting to come out.
"You are you a creep." She hissed at him while the moon started to come out of the clouds making the feeling even more intense, while the others landed in the park right where Wasabi in his civilian clothes parked his car.
"We are here we need to find GoGo and Mole." Hiro said.
"Our two targets are right there." MiniMax said pointing to where they are. Before Honey Lemon looked at the sky.
"Hiro, the moon." Honey Lemon pointing to the moon in the sky that was now very apparent.
"Ohh why such harsh words you can't escape my charms." Mole said placing a kiss on her hand which was the last straw for her, her anger was complete and the moon rays touched her now.
"YOU LITTLE TWERP!" GoGo shouted in pure anger getting her hand away from him before now feeling all her body aching as if something wanted to come out as well as her body stretching making her taller. "You have no idea…urgh...who you put yourself against."
And the transformation began, right in front of the boy he saw that from the Korean girl that her ears were turned feline like, while her teeth were starting to grow razor sharp like felines, yellow fur with spots was coming out on her body and felt a pressure on her pants in the back and from it came a cheetah's tail. Her body shaking her face started to look more like that of a cheetah and her shoes have just exploded, her feet turning into cheetah paws and her lower part of her white short sleeved shirt had ripped of alongside her lower side of her pants, while her nails on her hands were turning into the claws and her eyes were starting to glow. This for the eleven year old more was the scariest thing of his life.
"HIIIIIISSSSSSSSSSS" She hissed.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH"
"Oooh, Mole's in biiiigggg trouble." Fred said.
"Baymax record the scene and send it to me." Fred whispered.
"I already did." Baymax said sending Fred the scene and he received it on his phone.
"This one is for keepers." Fred said while everyone was watching the scene and in that moment Mole was trying to make a run for it but now Were-Cheetah GoGo was after him and jumping from behind she landed before him hissing at him again and he tried to run again in the other direction however with one powerful leap she jumped on him.
"Ohh, she would tore him to shreds now." Wasabi said.
"Not if we intervene, come on." Hiro said while he, Baymax, MiniMax, Honey Lemon and Fred followed.
"OK I didn't knew that you could turn into a big cat, however although I said we Moles are charming we aren't that tasty if one wants to eat us." He said trying to get her off him but to no avail she just hissed at his 'prey'.
"OK I am sorry I did want to kiss your hand I wouldn't do it ever. Please don't eat me!" He begged but GoGo only opened her mouth wide and this time.
"ROOAAAR!"
"sight" Richardson fainted at the sound of the roar and the girl only smirked right when Fred jumped on her back to catch her,
"GoGo I have to tell you that you just made my best evening ever." Fred said but this only infuriated her and she caught the kaiju theme hero and threw him at a nearby bench before MiniMax went to her and to catch her by the neck.
"Alright large cat woman, prepared to be tamed in the name of justice." He said and the Korean only threw the small robot hero side-kick near Fred who just got himself up and catch him and prepared to jump in again.
"GoGo!" The Latina called her but the Korean only jumped at her hissing but Honey Lemon managed to dodge it but GoGo turned around to strike again however the Latina managed to stop her by catching and hold her hands pushing one another but it was quite obvious who had the upper hand.
"GoGo listen, I know that Mole had angered you and the animal came out, but this isn't you. We are your friends think about all of us Hiro, Wasabi, Fred, Baymax, Karmi, Megan, Emma we are all your friends. We want to help you." She said however the strength her friend got was making her feel tired. "And it wasn't anyone's fault for you turning into this, but we know and believe in you that you can control it. This isn't the body of a beast." She finished and for the moment the girl's eye widened and let her guard down.
This was enough for Hiro to act and jump behind her and although she struggled a bit the boy genius managed to get the medallion around her neck and the precious gems on it started to glow with bright yellow and red making the humanoid cheetah drop to her knees.
"GoGo are you alright?" Hiro asked going to her while she was feeling a bit dizzy.
"Urgh, urgh." She groaned before her eyes turned to them "What just happened?" She asked before noticing her yellow fur with black spots covered arms and hands with claws at the fingers.
"Wha-what happened" She started before noticing the rest of her body and feeling the tail. "To my body?"
"It's a long story." Honey Lemon said with a smile before she noticed Mole and remembered that scene.
"Ahh, he just."
"Was given the fright of his life thanks to you boy, too bad he might not remember anything from tonight you scared him good." Fred said smiling removing his mask.
"Ah yeah because he was a twerp and a jerk which he might have deserved it, but why do I look like a cheetah?"
"Well the medallion that you got had a charm that gave you the ability to turn into a were-cheetah when full moon is around and this been your first shift we had to make you wear it before midnight so that you can control this body and your totemic animal spirit remains inside and doesn't take over. And also the one who it belonged to probably wanted to gave it away or didn't wanted to bother with it anymore." Honey Lemon explained.
"Heh well this is quite new I have to admit." The Korean girl said smiling looking at her body and somehow really liking it quite a lot.
"And let me guess, our dhampir friend told you everything there is to know about this stuff?" GoGo said.
"Most of it." Honey Lemon said.
"However she is waiting in the woods to meet someone who might know a lot more about this stuff. So we should better go." Wasabi came.
"We better go then." GoGo said.
"But what about him." Wasabi asked pointing to Mole still unconscious before Fred with a smirk knew how to deal with him.
"Leave that to me."
This was the second chapter I know it was a bit longer but sometimes you don't know how stories could turn out. Hope that you will review my side-story otherwise I wouldn't continue it.
