darthwolf: It's not so much he bonded with her as he nearly consumed her like the various others that Cadmus tried to bond him with. Those creatures will return, eventually, as the reveal of what they were.

Badger10: No, Felicia wont be in this chapter, but she'll be appearing again very soon.
CRUDEN: Yes, he is using the Future Foundation suit, it's just made from Venom rather than 3rd generation Unstable Molecules. No the Fantastic Four doesn't exist here.
White Drive: Most of Spider-man's fights with new baddies is usually underwhelming, partly because he's unaware of just what they can do and partly, here at least, Shocker wasn't looking for a fight. This chapter will be different since Peter has a rough idea of what to expect and he's not gonna give Shocker much of a choice in avoiding a fight.
Silver crow: We'll be getting a bit more insight of Madam Webb's history, and that of Ezekiel later on.
Guest: That is actually good to know, I've been thinking of when his birthday is so I can make a actual chapter out of it. It'd be the first one he's celebrated in years.
Movienerd74: Yes to some extent since Felicia here is attached to a pseudo eco-terrorist organization of assassins unlike her 616 counterpart, but really she's a bit more in danger as this version of Peter Parker is less... restrained, more violent to some extent and has been bonded to Venom for years now which would cause another hit to his mental health and moral compass.
Marvel Fan: I may have something in mind for Peter that'll give him an extra ability or two but it'll be some time till anything of that sort happens, like around the events of Invasion and no it wont be related to the Reach like them capturing him and experimenting on him or giving him is own Scarab for some reason.
Guest Reviewer: Yeah and it wont be the first time we'll see the small but noticeable differences between this Peter and a lot of others. Some of his actions, as a result of his upbringing will be a stark contrast to the whole 'Friendly Neighborhood Spider-man' we're used to. And we'll see him question and even be critical of quite a bit of how the Justice League operates since he wasn't raised with the whole traditional 'how the Good Guys and Bad Guys operate' mentality, his views will be much more gray and even controversial to some extent because of it. Peter and May's relationship will also be another thing I'll be exploring, because as well as they seem to be getting along now, they are still in essence, complete and total strangers to one another.
DeimosVulcan12: Norman will be Peter's archenemy in this but it'll be a bit until we get to that point. Harry will appear in this, as will Gwen. Brock I'm considering but at the moment he doesn't really serve much of a purpose since Venom's sticking with Peter for like ninety percent of this story. I'm liking Young Justice Outsiders so far. Not great but meh, could be worse. Think they have to many characters running around, just make a spin off or something for crying out loud.
Retrogamer7800: There's already a few parallels between the two, both had less than peaceful childhoods, both have had their lives altered forever, both have had their 'home' destroyed by the appearance of these newcomers, though for different reasons. There'll be others but some of them will be like a sort of dark twisted, polarized reflection, like it's similar but for very different reasons, like their whole home being destroyed thing I mentioned. Peter will meet Donna later on after the events of season one but before Invasion.

Silver crow: Nick Fury wont be in this story. And this story's Waller will be based more off her Suicide Squad film/comics counterparts, so she'll be a heartless, manipulative bitch.
Radeisth: Yeah, adults who know better are making sure that the teen that has a lethal alien parasite for a moral compass is placed in an environment and surrounded by people that can help him learn and grow as an individual and give him some much needed moral lessons have no right to make sure he doesn't end up a deranged mass murderer they'll have to take down later on.
JC: I have a few interesting ideas for the likes of Faust and a few of Peter's other enemies in this story.
Darkhawk 48: Yes Peter and Venom are staying together. Yes Godfrey will be in this and poor Peter's gonna be caught right in the middle of those two's war. Outsiders wasn't that bad.

Admittedly, Peter's never been all that good at tracking.
Following barely visible clues, tracks that most be people would look over or never see in the first place required a level of patience that Peter wasn't ashamed to admit he lacked. So trying to follow a single man through a city as large as New York would be challenging... luckily, this 'Shocker' was anything but discreet in his fleeing from Peter in a massive armored vehicle of some kind.
'What a... shocker' Peter thought with a chuckle as he swung through the cityscape, his eyes on Shocker's get away vehicle 'You can even say that I'm shocked with how things are panning out!'
'If I hear another shock pun I'm going to strangle you' Venom hissed in annoyance.
'A simple please would work too jackass' Peter thought with a eye roll as he landed on the edge of a building and sprinted along it as he watched Shocker's vehicle plow through the busy traffic that seemed to plague Manhattan's streets 'You know, I think this is the one city you don't want to try and drive through when your trying to get away from someone'
'Eh, at least he's making it easy to follow him' Venom stated as he watched the Shocker's armored transport tear across a intersection, causing several vehicles to crash 'Just follow the trail of destruction'
'Think I should check to make sure those people he's hitting will be alright?' Peter asked as he saw a cab's side practically tear off as Shocker's armored truck blew past it 'I'm pretty sure people are getting crippled down there'
'Those ambulance guys will handle it. Probably. Maybe. They'll at the very least have a clear path to drive down to reach them at any rate' Venom responded with his equivalent of a shrug 'Besides, probably better if we catch this Shocker, and eat his brain, than let him run free to keep doing it'
"I guess..." Peter said as he landed on the edge of a building and quickly sprinted across it before leaping into the air and shooting a web line out and using it to swing down towards Shocker's ride.
The wall crawler landed on the truck's side as it sped past an intersection, knocking several cars out of it's way and forcing a few to divert on to the sidewalks around them. Dozens of people let out shouts of shock and terror as the massive transport all but bulldozed it's way through Manhattan's busy streets. Police sirens weren't far behind, but they were hard-pressed trying to catch up to the Shocker's getaway car, it wasn't exactly leaving a very stable or clean path to follow in their own cars.
"Alright we're on the truck... now what?" Peter said as he crawled up to the top and looked for a way inside.
'Find a door or window, break it, get inside, eat their brains' Venom giggled 'Eat them all'
"How about noooo" Peter said with a shake of his head as he used his adhesive abilities to remain stationary on the swerving truck "Besides I don't wanna get brain stuck in my... hmmm..."
'What are you doing?' Venom sounded in confusion as it watched Peter make his way back down the side of the armored truck's 'trailer' portion and aim his arm at the massive tires.
'Idea... kinda' Peter responded before he unleashed a massive amount of his webbing and Venom's own biomass at the truck's tires.
The black tar like substance quickly covered the tires and worked their way into the truck's axels and began to harden and seize up the tire's rotation, causing the truck to begin swerving more dangerously. Seeing that this side of the truck's tires were taken care of, Peter began to make his way under the truck and towards the other side before he felt his spider-sense tingle. Pausing, Peter looked around before he noticed that the shocker had climbed out of the armored vehicle's cab and was now hanging from the door, aiming his vibrational gauntlet at him.
'You don't think he's gonna try and- oop neverminded!' Peter thought with a yelp as he narrowly avoided a small concussive blast from the deranged man.
'Could try to get him dumbass to shoot us and hit the tires instead' Venom offered as Peter crawled along the vehicle's underside, just barely managing to avoid getting hit by Shocker's blasts.
'You don't think he's that dumb do you?' Peter thought before he felt himself tense as the Shocker's truck struck another vehicle and all but drove over it, the vehicle's shredded metal remains just missing Peyer's body by inches.
'No idea, but if we don't do something soon, either he'll tag you with that blast of his, or his driver is gonna run over something that'll scrap us off this thing' Venom said.
'Fair enough' Peter thought with a nod before he turned and quickly made his way back towards the still operating back tires of the armored truck.
The Shocker let out an annoyed curse as he shot off several more small blasts at Peter, one of which hit him in the leg and caused him to nearly loose his grip and slip off. Luckily Venom formed several tendrils to grip the truck's underside and help Peter move along the undercarriage while it rushed to recover Peter's now bloodied leg.
'HOLY FUCKING SHIT!' Peter thought as he tried to keep himself from screaming out in pain, or perhaps he did and he just simply couldn't tell, it felt like half the bones in his leg were just vibrated apart.
'Just keeping moving, tis but s flesh wound... and deep bone wounds... also, there may be some nerve damage too' Venom said with a hum 'Might also want to get this odd growth of cells on your ankle looked at too while we're at it'
'You know what, fuck it, we're eating his brain after this!' Peter thought with anger as he sent a dark snarl towards Shocker before he reached up to the truck's axel and grabbed it.
'YES!' Venom cheered as Peter yanked the axel clean off and dropped it to the ground and watched as it was quickly ran over while the rear portion of the truck suddenly collapsed to the ground, sending up a shower of sparks and debris as it was dragged across the road.
Peter held on tight as he felt the truck violently lurch from one side to another as it crashed into the sides of cars parked along the side of the road, a couple of light poles, a street light, a newspaper stand, a hotdog stand, and Peter swore they ran over a clothing rack of brightly colored shirts. The truck honked it's airhorn a few times as it kept slamming into things before suddenly it lurched over on it's side and Peter found himself nearly being flung clean off if it wasn't for his already solid grip on the truck's undercarriage.
'You know, this is kinda fun' Peter thought as he remained close to the truck's undercarriage as it slid across the street until it came to a gradual stop.
'What'll be fun is eating that man's brain' Venom giggled in twisted delight 'Oh I can just taste it now. so soft, so chewy, so flavorful'
Peter sucked in a breath of air through his teeth as he hopped off the destroyed truck 'About that... I reconsidered eating his brain'
Venom was silent for a moment as it processed Peter's statement while said teen slowly made his way towards the cab of the truck to see if Shocker was still there. He could hear a few pained groans from the inside but that was about it. No blasts of concussive energy vibrating at unknown yet destructive frequencies, no gunshots, just a bunch of heavily armed men now in need of a full body cast.
"Well, guess that's th-" Peter began before he stopped as he glanced inside the cab and noticed a distinct lack of Shocker's body being among the groaning, injured men inside "Uh-oh..."
"UH-OH IS RIGHT MOTHER FUCKER!" Shocker's voice yelled up from behind Peter as he turned to confront the man only to receive a full on blast to the torso by the man's gauntlets "YOU JUST COST ME A MASSIVE SCORE ASSHOLE!"
Whatever response Peter had for that comment was lost as he was sent flying through the cab, the metal of the truck tearing into his suit and deeper still into his body, drawing blood and sending shockwaves of pain up and throughout his body. Venom meanwhile was going into overtime to try and cover and treat the various wounds that Peter was now sporting thanks to the full frontal blast they both took.
True it could've warned Peter that the man was sneaking up behind him before his spider-sense was triggered, but hearing that he reconsidered feasting on Shocker's brain had caused the symbiote to pause. Granted it was now regretting that decision but it won't apologize for it, that damned human got his hopes up to feed on someone's brain after so long.
'Serves you right' Venom hissed as Peter slammed into the side of a taxi, denting it's doors and causing the glass to shatter and rain down on his slumped form.
'I hate you...' Peter thought with a groan as he slowly sat back up and looked to see Shocker make his way through the hole his body had made in the truck's cab and take aim at the wounded teen.
"You have any idea how long it took me to plan this heist? To get everything perfect?!" Shocker demanded as he approached Peter with a snarl "Months of planning. Of reconnaissance. Of testing the response times of the police and analyzing their formations and dispersal patterns. Of planning out my escape routes and making sure that we'd get a clean getaway!"
"Ever consider getting the money the old fashion way, a lot of with drawls?" Peter asked with a pained chuckle "Ow, my spelean..."
"I'm gonna turn you into a pile of red shit you little shit!" Shocker screamed as he aimed at Peter's head and prepared to fire off a powerful concussive blast before several black tendrils emerged from Peter's back and yanked him out of the way before the man's blast could connect.
'Oh now you decide to help out' Peter thought with an eye roll as Venom carried the both of them to the side of a nearby building that overlooked the street they were on.
Thankfully it was empty, far as Peter could tell, though the large amount of smoke from the burning vehicles and dust from where Shocker just tried to blast Peter made confirming it difficult. Peter let out a sigh of relief as he felt the pain subsiding and the various injuries he received quickly healed, allowing him to focus his attention on Shocker as the man emerged from the dust cloud he made. The smoke filtered around him, while clumps of dust gathered over him, confirming that his forcefield seemed to block just about everything when it was up, down to the particles in the air.
'Must have a built in oxygen supply. Otherwise, he'd have a limited amount of air in that little forcefield bubble of his' Peter thought as he watched the dust that was gathering on the top of Shocker's Forcefield suddenly fall and scatter as the field dissipated just a second before the man's gauntlets released their built up energy.
'You see that?' Peter asked as he swung out of the way of the oncoming beam of concussive blasts.
'See what? You dodge that blast like a chump? Yes I did and I wish I could un-see it' Venom snorted as he continued to work on healing his ungrateful host's wounds.
Peter rolled his eyes at this 'No jackass, the forcefield that this Shocker guy is using. Before he fired, he dropped the shield he has around him'
'Okay annnnnnd?' Venom asked in a sarcastic drawl.
'It means that he can't fire with it up' Peter said as he released his web line and landed on the side of a wall before he leaped out of the way of another blast from Shocker 'Which means, if I can time it just right, that split second before he fires off another blast, I should be able to land a good enough hit to take him out'
'Or risk getting a face full of whatever that energy he's hitting us with' Venom warned.
Peter shook his head as he took cover behind a pillar 'I don't think he'll risk setting off a blast that close to him. His suit, as dumb as it looks, is probably designed to help him endure any possible recoil or 'feedback' from his gauntlets, like a buffer, but only to a degree. It might not be durable enough to withstand a full on blast that close to his person, particularly with how powerful of a blast he's been trying to hit us with'
'For all you know, he's suicidal' Venom pointed out.
"...That's a good point" Peter said with unease, he hadn't considered that.
If that were the case, than he really was in a pickle.
He could try and see if maybe the guy would run out of energy, be it the forcefield or the energy gauntlets, but there was no telling how long that'll take. Already half the block was trashed and or on fire and Peter doubted that this was the worse it'll get before Shocker ran out of juice. he could try calling for backup in the form of... well now that Peter thought about it, who the hell was he supposed to call?
'Guess we're on our own with this guy' Peter thought with a sigh as a plan began to slowly form in his had.
Well plan wasn't exactly the right word, more of a all or nothing kinda move that'll either end the fight or get him and Venom killed.
'If your gonna rush him, you'll need to be fast' Venom advised 'He even thinks for a moment he knows what your planning to do, he could take us with him if he were so inclined to. and I have no intention of rejoining with Knull in the Void any time soon'
Peter nodded as he took a few deep breaths and steeled himself for what he was about to do before he felt his sixth sense go off and immediately sprung clear of the half destroyed pillar before it exploded in a shower of stone. Shocker growled in frustration at missing him and continued to fire off a series of small but highly concentrated blasts at the white clad hero. Peter did his best to keep Shocker in his line of sight as he maneuvered his way around the various wrecked cars and trucks that lined the street towards Shocker. Even though Venom hadn't said it, Peter could tell he was uneasy being around so many combustible things and seeing a car get shredded by Shocker's vibrational blasts did little to put the symbiote at ease.
'Can we hurry this up before I loose my nerve and decide to take over and bail?' Venom asked with a snarl 'I don't want to get caught in a fiery explosion'
"You won't" Peter said as he leaped over another blast from Shocker, doing his best to ignore just how uncomfortable it was having the concussive blast so close to his... lower body's sensitive areas.
Peter landed in a roll and sprung out of the way of another energy blast with a handspring before landing on the remnants of a cab, only a few meters away from Shocker. The high tech bank robber glared at Peter and raised his gauntlets to blast the white clad hero before Peter beat him on the draw and fired off several web 'bullets'. Peter didn't expect the web bullets to breach shocker's shield, he just needed the man to keep his shield up a few seconds more so he could get close.
"Heh, nice try punk, but it'll take more than that to break this forcefield" Shocker grinned as he watched the web bullets slam into his shield harmlessly before he took aim at Peter's fast approaching form "Say nighty night"
"Okay!" Peter said as he ignored the pain his head was in as his spider-sense went off like a drum and slid to the ground and watched as Shocker's energy blast flew over him with only millimeters to spare.
Venom screeched in pain as the proximity of the high intensity energy blast caused rips and tears to appear on Peter's chest, exposing flesh before the skin began to peel and tear away to reveal the muscle beneath it. But Peter powered through and sprung back up just as the energy passed and found himself face to face with a surprised Shocker. The forcefield had already closed behind the wall crawler, leaving him more or less trapped inside with Shocker... or rather, Shocker was trapped with him.
"What the h-"the man began before Peter seized him by the shoulders and held him close.
"Nighty night, Shocker" Peter growled at the man with narrowed lenses before he brought the man into a headbutt... and almost immediately regretted it.
The man's helmet felt like it was made of solid steel or something and re-enforced with even more something. The metal still cracked and Peter could tell that the man was dazed, but holy hell was his own head starting to hurt from that.
"This seemed... this seemed so much cooler... in my head... ow..." Peter groaned as he cupped his head as Shocker stumbled back before he began to sway back and forth.
"You... little... ugh..." Shocker groaned as he tried to focus and raised one of his gauntlets to blast Peter's head clean off before the his arm was grabbed and the man was pulled into a knee to the gut.
The force of the hit took the air out of Shocker before Peter followed up with a pair of punches to the cracked part of the man's helmet, damaging it further. Taking a moment to stop and see if Shocker would fall or not, Peter grabbed the man by the collar of his suit and lifted him into the air before bringing him in close to his face.
"What a shocking development this must be for you" Peter grinned at the man before he lifted him into the air and slammed him back into the ground.
The force of the impact caused some minor damage throughout the man's armor and caused a series of sparks to light up from his gauntlets before Peter grabbed each one and yanked them lean off.
'Well that was fun...' Venom grumbled as he began to have the parts of Peter's suit that were damaged slowly repair itself before moving on to jumpstart Peter's healing.
'I know, wasn't it shocking?' Peter snickered as he held up Shocker's gauntlets and examined them before directing his attention back towards the now unconscious man "Cool gloves by the way..."
Shocker made no response as he laid there, causing Peter to shrug as he webbed up the gauntlets in a little bag of webbing and dropped them next to the guy before proceeding to web him up as well. Wouldn't want him to wander off and come looking for Peter later for round two. Not a moment after Peter had finished webbing Shocker to the ground, several police cruisers appeared down the street and were busy racing towards the scene with their lights flashing and their sirens at full volume.
"Time to go" Peter said as he crouched for a moment before launching himself into the air and shot a web line out and used it to swing higher up into the sky and attach himself to a skyscraper with the words 'OSCORP' written vertically along it's side.
'That was quite the shock we experienced, wasn't it?' Venom said as Peter slowly climbed his way up the building.
'You know venom, hearing you making so many Shocker related quips just doesn't sound right' Peter thought with a grin as he spared a brief glance back down at the scene to see several officers were already moving to secure Shocker and his men 'In fact you more or less just killed it with that little pun alone'
'Oh so you can do it but I can't?' Venom demanded.
Peter's response was a nod which in turn caused the symbiote to growl in annoyance.
"Sooo... which way was Madam Webb's shop again?" Peter said as he made it to the top of the skyscraper and began to look around for anything familiar.
'Do I look like a fucking GPS?' Venom scowled in annoyance, upset that he wasn't allow to make quips or puns now.
Peter adopted a sad, regretful expression at his other's words 'Your right, I'm sorry... A GPS is way more reliable than you ever are when it comes to directions'
'I hope the first girl you ever mate with gives you a sexually transmitted disease that our healing can't fix' Venom growled in anger.
'And I hope you get set on fire in the middle of a heavy metal concert' Peter responded with a snort as he saw he saw the trail of destruction that Shocker left in his getaway and decided to follow it back to where he first encountered the man.
After that, it shouldn't be too hard to find his way back to Madam Webb.
With that in mind, Peter hopped off the building and shot a web line out and swung off towards the trail of vehicular devastation his chase wrought on the city...
Unaware of a pair of amused green eyes watching his every move through the city's skyline.

"So um, how was today?" May asked after a few minutes of awkward silence between the two.
Peter looked up from his food and at his Aunt several hours later "It was fine I guess. Learned a bit more about my predecessor guy thing and the nature of how or why my spider powers would emerge. Also fought a guy that shoots shockwaves at people and won"
Madam Webb was pretty pleased with what he told her, though she did seem a bit... bothered, with how long it took Peter to catch the guy. Apparently letting Shocker rampage through twenty city blocks in his getaway and cause hundreds of thousands if not millions in property damage wasn't exactly what she had in mind. Still, she was pleased that Peter was alright and had stopped the man, all on his own.
Well he had venom there, but with how helpful the symbiote was, he might as well have done it on his own.
'Asshat, you'd be dead if not for me at least three times' Venom whispered in the confines of Peter's mine.
"I saw" May said with a small nod before she glanced down at Peter's chest "I also saw he got a good hit in earlier after you crashed that monstrosity of a truck of his on the news. Are you okay?"
"Venom took most of it" Peter said with a reassuring grin as he tapped his chest "Barely even felt it thanks to him"
'Not by choice bitch' Venom growled.
"Will they, he, be okay?" May asked.
"Yeah, he'll be fine" Peter said with a snort "If anything was hurt, it was his pride mostly"
'Fuuuuuck youuuuuu' Venom hissed in annoyance 'If it didn't risk scaring your Aunt out of this house and preventing her from making more of those chocolate cookies, I'd come out there and rip your goddamn head off and spit down your bloodied stump of a neck!'
'More than welcome to try you over hyped mass of organic goo' Peter replied, causing the symbiote to hiss in anger.
"Oh..." May said after a few moments "Well I did make him a batch of my chocolate chip cookies in case he needed it"
"He'll appreciate it Aunt May" Peter smiled at his Aunt before they both heard the phone ring in the other room.
Aunt May quickly got up to see who it was that was calking while Peter turned his attention to the small device by his arm. It was a smart phone, given to him by Aunt May after he got home earlier. Apparently all the people his age had one and she wanted him able to call her if he ever needed anything, or vice versa. Her number was already programed into the phone and Peter noticed that she also added Agent Morse's number in the event that Peter needed to speak with someone from ARGUS.
'Think we can get the others number in this thing?' Peter thought as he grabbed the phone and switched it on before opening up a small app that looked like a newspaper, it had a small red exclamation mark on it.
'You just want that Robin girl's number' Venom scoffed 'Your attraction to the female is so disgusting that I'm tempted to lock myself in a microwave and cook myself to death if it mans sparing me from having to hear your thoughts about her'
'I'm not attracted to her, I just think that she's really pretty and I happen to like the way she's made' Peter scowled in response.
'Like the way she's made? Sweet daughter of the dark ones please just end me' Venom moaned in exasperation 'I knew I should've stayed on Rann but oh no, I just had to listen to Riot'
'You are such a drama queen' Peter said as he scrolled through the news app and saw an article about his fight with Shocker, along with a few blurry images of him facing off against the crazed bank robber 'Sweet, they wrote about us'
For the most part the article seemed to complain about how bad of a job that Peter did in capturing Shocker. How he let the chase go on far longer than it should've, allowed so much property damage and let the money that Shocker steal burn in the car crash of the man's armored truck. But what really stood out to Peter was what he was being called by this 'Daily Bugle'.
"Spider-man huh..." Peter said as he continued to read the article "Not bad... not bad at all"
It complimented his abilities and appearance pretty well, and the name Spider-man had a very nice ring to it... yeah, he could get behind it. Maybe the Spectacular Spider, or the Ultimate Spider-man, or maybe even the Amazing-
'Meh... not the worse name I guess... still think Venom would have been better'
And of course Venom had to go and ruin the moment.
