Chap 15 – Frozen Blood
"How is this even possible?" Kirito questioned while slowly getting to his feet; his Night Sky Blade at the ready. Kirito searched his memories; recalling the races within the Dark Territory, but he came up empty in regards to zombies. Alfheim Online flashed briefly through his mind as he took notice of the boy's wings; however, that just wasn't possible. That multi-player role playing game was on an entirely different server.
"Be careful Kirito." Alice cautioned. "That's not your typical zombie."
"What do you mean?" He shot a quick glance towards the golden knight.
"That's Renly Synthesis Twenty-Seven." Alice explained; her concentration split between concern for the raven-haired boy and keeping the elevator afloat. "From what I could remember, he wasn't a very strong knight, nor did he have the passion for battle. Renly couldn't use Release Recollection, so Lady Pontifex froze him for a number of years in order to hide her mistake." The boy knight growled upon hearing his own history, but Alice pressed on. "After you defeated Lady Pontifex, Renly was released from his Deep Freeze and fought briefly with us in the War. Unfortunately, I don't recall him doing anything extraordinary. Maybe after Lady Pontifex awoke for the second time, she tried a new approach to resynthesizing. But instead of gaining a more loyal and fiercer knight, she got that."
"There has to be a different explanation." Kirito contradicted. "Administrator would never go this far."
"Would you stake your life on that?" Alice quipped.
Kirito gulped; his eyes traveling down the zombie before him. "Is this what Eugeo looks like? Could this be the fate Alice was talking about? What about that menacing collar around his neck? Did Eugeo have one of those too? If so, how would I get it off?" His mind raced with question after question until a rancid stench brought him back to the present. Kirito quickly slid his foot back, prepping an attack; however, his sword was met with resistance. He glanced down at his blade; chills racing up his spine; for Renly had impaled himself, through the stomach, onto his Night Sky Blade.
"Seriously?!" Kirito was flabbergasted.
"Do something Kirito!" Alice called out; watching the ghastly scene unfold before her.
"I know. I know." Kirito bit out while struggling to remove the Night Sky Blade; the sounds of his blade grinding against Renly's rib bones, a noise Kirito would like to forget. After a few moments of tug of war, Kirito took a deep breath, and jerked hard on his sword; simultaneously lifting one foot to kick against Renly's chest. Kirito instantly felt the change in weight as his blade was freed; then quickly pointed the tip at the off balanced boy. "I won't let you cloud my mind of what may have happened to Eugeo." He said with determination; despite the fear of the unknown for his best friend.
Upon hearing the blonde's name, Renly snarled in anger, bloody spit flying from his lips.
"Looks like someone doesn't like Eugeo." Alice said as she forced herself to stay at the controls. She needed to continue pumping Burst Element into the elevator otherwise it would plummet over one hundred feet below.
"I think you're right." Kirito stated; confusion etched on his face. "But why?"
"Who knows and who cares." Alice muttered.
"Horizontal Arc!" Kirito called out as he brought his blade even with his elbows. He then sliced it across; first left to right and then right to left. He hoped to catch Renly across the neck, but it didn't happen. Instead, Kirito whiffed the air as Renly jumped back, free from any harm. "You're pretty fast for a zombie." Kirito gritted out before initializing the Serration Wave. If it hit, it would impede Renly's movements and make him an easier target. Unfortunately, luck was not on Kirito's side; for the boy knight had skillfully avoided his attack once again.
"Stop messing around Kirito!" Alice shouted. "Hit him already!"
"Vorpal Strike!" Kirito stated, frustration clearly reflecting in his voice. This time, the Night Sky Blade struck swiftly, entering and passing through the boy knight's decomposing flesh. It was lodged in deep at the very top of the boy's sternum. Renly would have coughed up blood, if he had any, but only succeeded in dry heaving as Kirito pushed him back against the rails of the elevator.
"Did you get him?" Alice dared to ask.
"I'm not sure." Kirito added his elbow to the boy's chest, his thoughts strong as he put an insane amount of pressure on the boy's rib cage. This in turn, caused the now brittle bones which protected the boy's heart and lungs to crack and shatter. Renly's whole chest caved in; however, the boy knight wasn't too fazed by it. He just took whatever Kirito did; for he felt no pain. "I won't let you start an apocalypse!" Kirito grit out while forcing his sword left and right, attempting to widen the hole in Renly's breast plate. Seconds later, Renly twisted his body ninety degrees, causing the sword to slice completely through and out the left side of his body. Kirito stumbled from the sudden movement but quickly regained his balance and readied for a Sonic Leap.
Kirito dashed straight for Renly then leapt high into the air while bringing the Night Sky Blade downward. However, midway through the attack, Renly flapped his wings and suddenly appeared behind Kirito. Already invested in the attack, Kirito couldn't stop. On Kirito's descent, Renly landed a kick so powerful to Kirito's lower back that internal bleeding, the breakage of multiple bones and the shredding of muscle tissue had all occurred instantaneously from that one direct hit. Kirito fell to the elevated platform with a hard thud, dislodging his left shoulder in the process. His Night Sky Blade falling near the golden knight.
"Kirito!" Alice screamed out.
The raven-haired boy clenched his teeth as he tried to get up; however, the pain was just too intense. Blood seeped from his mouth, a sure sign that something had indeed ruptured inside him. His left arm hung at an odd angle, causing Kirito to groan as he rolled onto his back. He knew he was in serious trouble. Seconds later, Renly landed next to him, a raspy growl coming from the boy knight as his wings came to rest against his back.
"Is….is….Eugeo….like you?" Kirito rasped out through a series of painful breaths. It hurt so much to talk but he had to know. Regrettably, all he got in reply was an angry snarl. Kirito soon passed out, never hearing the ruffle of a skirt as it swayed back and forth in front of him.
"Back off, Renly!" Alice barked out as she delivered a Slant attack. The boy knight crouched low, reaching for his Twin Wing Blades. Renly brought them around him; blocking Alice's attack. The two weapons crushing against each other as they fought for control. "I won't let you hurt him anymore!" Alice ground out while putting all her body weight into this attack; however, she was slightly distracted. She stole a quick glance at the control panel; for seconds earlier, she'd pumped a large amount of Burst Elements into it; hoping they'd sustain the platform long enough for her to defeat Renly.
Feeling overpowered, Alice hopped back, using the balls of her feet to swiftly dance around the elevator. Renly watched her intently; but without any emotion on the boy's face, the golden knight wasn't sure what he was planning. "I can't wait for him to make a move." She thought to herself. "Release Recollection!" The Osmanthus Blade transformed into hundreds of thousands of golden flakes resembling flower pedals. Alice then raised her sword and directed them all towards Renly; their sharp edges eager to bite into the boy knight. Renly held up his Twin Wing Blades, using them to protect his collar and neckline. Next, he stretched out his wings and stood his ground. "Think you can handle them? Well, let's find out. Bloom My Flowers!" The golden flakes funneled into a cone shape; striking Renly directly in the chest.
Alice ran towards Kirito, sunk to her knees and leaned over the unconscious boy; protecting Kirito from the intense blast of light and energy. Wind whipped at her hair and clothes as she lowered herself further upon Kirito. After a moment or two, everything went quiet. Alice looked over her shoulder; a small smile pulling at her lips as she took in the sight of Renly.
There was a giant hole in the middle of his body as the boy knight staggered to remain upright. Smoke drifting up from the center of him while he flapped his wings like a dying bird. Seconds later, he fell to the ground.
Alice turned back towards Kirito, "I got him, Kirito." She quickly glanced at the control panel, there were only a few Burst Elements left. "I have time." She told herself. Alice raised her hand, calling out "System Call: Healing Element." Her fingers glowed with a soft light before she placed them onto Kirito. She breathed a sigh of relief as she watched his chest raise and fall. "You shouldn't be so reckless." She scolded him as her azure eyes fell onto his face; her usual hard facial features softening.
Alice laid her other hand on his cheek, brushing his dampened bangs back; unaware that her cheeks had suddenly acquired a pink hue. Alice spent the next few moments pouring healing energy into Kirito until she felt a strong grip on her ankle.
"What the?" She twisted her head around and saw Renly's hand wrapped around her golden boot. She didn't have time to react before he struck her shin with a Twin Wing Blade. "How are you still alive?! Everything I had was in that attack!" Alice quickly dislodged the blade with a series of kicks but Renly's actual hold was relentless. Alice yelped as she felt the metal crushing beneath his grip; its sharp edges digging into her skin. "Let go of me!" She gritted out; however, her fury was replaced with a look of surprise. Her golden armor was beginning to corrode from where Renly's ivory blade had struck. "What did you do?!" she shrieked, giving Renly a hard, swift kick to the face. Alice was now royally pissed.
The boy knight released his hold and darted back on his hands and knees; stopping when he bumped against the side of the elevator. He growled as he shook his head vigorously, attempting to stop seeing stars before his eyes. "That's what you get for messing with my gift from Lady Pontifex." Alice angrily slipped off her boot and placed it aside. "You better hope I could fix this." She snapped while reaching for her sword. She held it out before her as she fearlessly made her way towards the boy knight.
Renly's snarled in hostility at Alice's words as he stayed low to the ground. "I noticed you protected your collar from my petals. Did Lady Pontifex give you that dreadful thing? Is that how she's controlling you?" Renly growled as the golden knight continued to pepper him with questions. "Are you like that because you were weak? Did Lady Pontifex think so lowly of you that she'd rather have a creature from the Dark Territory by her side than a knight who can't use their own ultimate attack?"
Renly was about to pounce when something resembling a whip, wrapped around his waist, securing his wings to his back, and pulled him through a make shift door made of light. Alice watched as both the boy knight and the door vanished. She was at a loss for words as she collapsed to her knees. On one hand, she wanted to kill Renly, but on the other hand, she didn't know exactly how to do that. Perhaps whomever took him will do what she could not. Moments later, she felt a moment of weightlessness before the elevator began its swift decent.
OOooOOooOO
Renly's back hit the inside of a dark cell before he fell forward into deep water. "You choose this fate instead of dying?" A female voice stated coolly while wrapping her whip around her arm and hand. "I have to say, it suits you much better." Renly wasn't underwater long but when he surfaced; he was not happy. First, he was standing in four feet of ice-cold water; his wings rendered useless. Second, above the water, and surrounding him on all sides, was an additional four feet of damp, dark stone. The front however, had a little ledge about a foot wide which led outwards to at least thirty, if not more, thin iron bars. The top of his cell was cut off from any light being that it was covered by stone. The eight-by-eight cage was positioned off the ninety-fifth floor Central Cathedral as if it were a blemish. Third and final, his glassy white eyes had locked onto one of the people he wanted to kill, Administrator. He narrowed his eyes and growled as water continuously splashed over him.
"Linel Synthesis Twenty-Eight told me what had become of you." She cupped one elbow and placed the other hand on her chin as she studied the boy. "So interesting. A human unit who underwent a change in his class." She paced slowly along the edge of the cage. "I had no idea that was possible, but now that I do, I'm extremely curious about how that came to be." She smiled a sly grin. "Should be fascinating what I find." Renly glowered at Administrator as he tried making his way towards her. He was stopped not only by the strong current but by an iron around his ankle as well.
"Your chest will regenerate." The Pontifex continued. "I infused my whip with a healing sacred power before I snatched you up. It'll still match the rest of your…uniqueness, but I can't learn from something that isn't there." Renly scrunched his brows; not understanding. "You'll no longer be infecting my residents with that virus that runs through your veins. But rather, you'll have a new purpose. One that'll provide the answers that I seek." She laughed before turning serious. "I'm not daft like Alice-chan and that irregular boy, I know how to permanently kill you. It's just a matter of time before I do."
OOooOOooOO
Alice emitted a soft moan before her eyes fluttered open. There was a faint luminous element coming from the right side of her face. She gazed up into two beautiful dark grey eyes, her cheeks reddening before she quickly sat up; knocking heads with Kirito. "Ow!" They both said in unison while rubbing at their foreheads. The light element fizzled out, casting them in complete blackness.
"Never get that close to me again." Alice muttered while sitting up, although she was happy Kirito was alright.
"Sorry." Kirito grumbled as he got to his feet. "I was just worried about you."
"Where are we?" The golden knight looked around, attempting to gain her bearings. All she saw was darkness no matter which direction she looked. "The last thing I remember is the elevator falling…"
"We are currently on floor seventy-five, otherwise known as the Night Corridor." Cardinal spoke as she brought back some light with a new Luminous Element.
"Why bring us here?" Alice asked skeptically. "There is nothing on this floor but silence and isolation."
"Perhaps we were foolish to wait for her to recover." Cardinal sighed while glancing at Kirito and adjusting her glasses. "We could have already formulated a plan and been on our way."
"No, we both need to know what's going on." Kirito stated flatly.
Cardinal gave a curt nod before beginning, "Your memory is correct, Alice. You and Kirito were last on the elevator platform as it plunged back to the fiftieth floor."
"The elevator fell?" Kirito blinked in shock. "I don't remember that."
"You had already passed out." Alice said regrettably, averting her eyes. "Your wounds were quite severe. I should have come to your aid sooner, but I misjudged things."
Silence lingered for a few moments before Cardinal spoke up. "Normally I don't bother with the elevator; however, my companion headed this way and I have to follow him. He needs…supervision." Kirito and Alice glanced at each other; for Cardinal only traveled with animal familiars, like Charlotte the spider. "The platform was gone, so naturally, I assumed people were ahead of me. However, when I saw that young girl hit the ground before both her legs, I knew he was responsible."
"Who's he?" Alice quirked a brow, although she had a rough idea already.
"Renly." Cardinal stated. "I'm sure you saw him, but, before you ask any questions," Cardinal raised a small hand, causing Kirito and Alice to pause. "…let me finish explaining how you ended up here." She took a deep breath and continued. "Renly doesn't just kill people, he makes people like him. Knowing this, it was my responsibility to save whomever was on that elevator. I had to know whether you've been bit or not."
"Bit?" Alice asked, confusion showing on her face.
"Yes, but to know for sure, I opened a transportation doorway which took you from the elevator to the darkness here. I arrived shortly after, thankful that you were both passed out. It allowed me to give each of you a thorough look over. If either of you had been bit, we wouldn't be having this conversation."
"You're saying that if Renly attacked us, we'd have to die?" Alice questioned, still not understanding.
"That's exactly what I'm saying." Cardinal narrowed her eyes at the golden knight. "Things are already extremely dangerous with Renly, there can not be more."
"Alice," Kirito began. "What do you know of zombies?"
"Not much really." She honestly answered.
"We will have to get you caught up." Kirito said. "But first…" He turned towards Cardinal. "How did Renly get to be like that? Was that Administrator's doing?"
"I'm not sure exactly." Cardinal replied. "But I'm the one who found him and prevented Renly from dying."
"It was you?" Kirito was in disbelief but relieved at the same time. Knowing this, he was sure Eugeo wasn't the same as the boy knight.
"Yes, I thought my methods would have saved him but as you witnessed, they are only delaying the inevitable."
"I wasn't able to kill him." Alice stated, disappointment in her tone.
"I'm not surprised." Cardinal said. "Zombies are relentless and persevere beyond even their own limitations. They will stop at nothing to spread the virus."
Alice paled. "His divine weapon, when it connected with my armor, the Twin Wing Blade corroded it. I had no choice but to remove my boot in fear of it spreading."
"Hmmm…" Cardinal scratched at her chin. "I knew Renly's weapon changed in appearance but altered its properties as well? This I had not taken into consideration."
"Someone took him." Alice deadpanned.
"What?"
"A door of light opened, and a whip shot it. He was dragged into it."
"This is not good." Cardinal rubbed at her chin. "Administrator must have him."
"You don't think she wants to…" Kirito began with wariness.
"I don't know what goes on that head of hers, but whatever it is, we need to find out." Cardinal looked between Alice and Kirito. "Time is of the essence."
OOooOOooOO
Tiese ran down the stairs onto the Morning Star Lookout, located on floor ninety-five, tears flowing behind her. She was dressed; although she didn't take the time to fix her hair or clothes properly nor did she really care. She was going to continue downward, when a feminine voice filled her ears. Tiese stopped briefly and glanced around; her crimson eyes landing on the back of Pontifex. Administrator looked to be conversing with someone, but Tiese didn't see anyone else in the room, just heard the silky voice of a woman who was gloating. But to gloat to oneself? How odd."Hey!" She wiped her tears away.
Administrator looked over her shoulder, her expression souring upon seeing Tiese. "What do you want?" Her lilac eyes roamed the younger girl. "And why are you so disheveled?"
"Let him go!" Tiese ignored Pontifex's questions with a demand of her own.
"Let who go, my dear?" Administrator turned gracefully toward the other girl; her swollen belly coming into plain sight. Tiese forced herself not to look at it; Eugeo's words still too fresh in her mind.
"Eugeo." She spat.
"Now, why would I release the father of my child?" She rubbed at her belly. "After all, someone needs to raise it."
"But Eugeo had a terrible childhood. He doesn't…"
"He'll figure it out and when he does, we'll have more." Tiese's mouth dropped open at the Pontifex's proclamation. "What's the average these days? That's right. It's five." Administrator smirked, enjoying the expression on Tiese's face.
"You'd do that to him? You'd make Eugeo put aside his Blue Rose Sword so he could raise your children…by himself?"
"Thirty-Two will do what he is told." Adminstrator casually strolled up to Tiese. "Not that it's any concern of yours, but Eugeo will only be raising them until their little minds are ready for downloading. Shouldn't be more than nine or ten years." Administrator grinned. "When that special time comes, I'll be taking over."
"What's downloading?" Tiese asked, unsure of the foreign word.
"Don't bothering trying to figure it out. Your small brain can't comprehend it."
"You bitch!" Tiese was so mad, she couldn't control her anger. "From the very beginning, you lied to me! All those words that I spoke to that glowing crystal, memories that I made up to include myself with Eugeo…they…they were just words. Nothing more. You had me believing that I was helping Eugeo, but in the end, you did what benefitted you."
"That's the only reason I do things." Administrator smiled a wicked grin. "Besides, I never intended to share someone as attractive as Eugeo." Tiese started to laugh hysterically. "What's so funny?"
"You asked why I looked the way I do." The red head laughed harder. "It's because… I just came from Eugeo's room…" Her tone turned deathly serious. "…where he fucked me." Tiese felt like she was on the top of the world as her own smile crossed her face, mocking the Administrator.
"Did he now?" Administrator narrowed her eyes.
"He also called me beautiful." Tiese said with pride. "Has he ever called you that?" Administrator scowled, not recalling any time that had happened. "Maybe I'll even become pregnant." She added with a smug.
"Wouldn't that be something?" Pontifex replied with sarcasm before stealing a quick glance at the water prison, which held Renly. Her lilac eyes slid back towards Tiese; catching the sight of a sword headed straight for her belly. Administrator's sacred arts immediately kicked in, creating a shield of light. The young girl's sword flew from her hand as it connected with Pontifex's barrier, landing with a loud clank on the floor. "Did you really think that would work?" Administrator asked cynically while gathering sacred power into her fingers. Tiese's body lifted off the ground seconds before it crashed against a stone pillar, instantly knocking her unconscious. "I think it's time the three of us have a discussion." Pontifex smiled as she determined just what she'd do.
OOooOOooOO
"Enhance Armament." Eugeo called out while training with his Blue Rose Sword. He was currently in Renly's old room, using it as a practice room. In here, he wasn't scrutinized by the other knights because of his looks nor for his role in getting the Pontifex pregnant. "Blue Rose Bloom!" He continued as he held his sword perpendicular to the ground.
"Very impressive." Administrator appeared behind Eugeo; her hand resting on his bare shoulder. "Your abilities with the Blue Rose Sword, and the many blue roses and vines it produces, surpass even my expectations."
"I work hard for you, Lady Pontifex." The blonde replied while standing, sheathing his sword into its hilt.
"I can see that; however…" Administrator stood before Eugeo. "…is training the only thing you've been doing while I was asleep?" The blonde knew he couldn't lie to the Pontifex, so he kept his mouth shut; his emerald eyes holding her amethyst ones. "Did you find another way to pass the time?" She placed a hand on his groin.
"…"
"Was it good?" Pontifex asked suddenly, her voice neutral as her other hand traced the outline of the blonde's round face before a slender finger came to a stop, lingering on his bottom lip. The blonde stayed quiet; however, his body language spoke volumes as he tensed up; sweat coating his brow. "Did you worship her body with your mouth as you do mine? Was her taste sweet? Did you enjoying filling her with your amazing cock?" She squeezed him; making the blonde's eyes widen and his wings lift slightly. "Did she please you in return?" she pressed on.
"It was…just lust." Eugeo replied while shoving her back. "Something you instilled in me." He muttered under his breath.
"Is that all?"
"…"
"Take out your sword and place the tip in the ground." Eugeo had no choice but to obey. He pulled out the Blue Rose Sword once more and jammed it into the frozen flooring. "Now, on your knees and place your wrists on each side of the hilt." The blonde did so, unsure of Administrator's true intent. "System Call: Create Metallic Element." Silver balls of light appeared on her fingers before she touched them to the Blue Rose Sword. "Restraint."
Two silver chains sprouted from the handle, at their ends, two hand sized manacles: perfect for the blonde. The chains snaked around Eugeo's wrists; locking them against his sword with only a few inches of give. The blonde pulled at his chains, finding them to be solid despite being a prisoner to his own weapon. Administrator then placed two fingers on his forehead and pushed him back, so that is butt connected with the back of his legs. "You're not to move. I don't care if your legs turn blue." Eugeo narrowed his eyes as her latest request. "What needs to be done is that you'll sleep as I do."
"What?" Eugeo was taken aback. "No."
"Now, you may be thinking," Administrator breezed over the blonde's denial. "Lady Pontifex sleeps seventy-five percent of the day; how can she hope I'd do the same?" Pontifex walked behind the blonde; then placed her hands alongside his head; her fingers placing strands of his flaxen locks behind his elven ears. "You'll know soon enough."
As she finished up, she felt a strange sensation in her belly. "Oh?" Pontifex furred her brows while laying one hand on her stomach; waiting for it to happen again. When it did, Administrator smiled. "It would appear our baby has started to kick." Eugeo turned his head in surprise. "Eyes forward." She repeated.
"I'd let you feel it but your hands are a little tied up at the moment." She smirked before calling out another metallic sacred art. Out of the corner of his eye, Eugeo saw a bright flash, but he didn't know what had appeared. "This will only take a few moments."
Administrator took his left ear between her fingers. "You may feel a slight pinch." With her other hand, she placed a small, silver ear cuff around the thinnest part of his ear. Next, she glided it gently, along the outside of his ear until she found the perfect spot; it rested slightly beneath the ear's pointed tip. Seconds later, Administrator pressed down hard, digging the cuffs sharp, inner teeth into Eugeo's thin cartilage. The blonde winced at the severe pain that followed. "Take a deep breath. That was only the first one." Her breathe ghosting across his now tender, bloody and very red ear.
Administrator repeated the same process with two more identical cuffs; their placements slightly below the first one and along the bottom of his ear. Next, she created small chains which went from the upper cuffs and fed into the bottom one. "You are not to touch them." She ordered her knight. Her blood-stained fingers gliding along the delicate jewelry as Eugeo forced his body not to move. Her touch was gentle, but it still had some effect on him. Next, Administrator took ahold of his right ear and performed the same process, giving the blonde a total of six ear cuffs and four small chains.
Pontifex came around and lowered herself to his height. Eugeo watched her lilac eyes glance left and right while she tugged slightly on the petite chains of the cuffs, assuring their symmetry. "Perfect." She came away, a satisfied smile pulling at her lips.
"What did you do?"
"I merely linked us."
"…"
"You're so cute when you have no idea what I'm saying." Administrator mocked playfully. "Anyway, inside each of them is a small piece of my personal data; all of which connect to my sleep patterns."
"…"
"It means that when I tire, you will too."
"You can do something like that?"
"I've made it a priority."
"You did?"
"Of course. At nineteen and twenty, my residents are programmed to expand the population; however," The Pontifex brought her face in close to his; her tone turning chilled. "…you are not to breed with anyone else but me. Do you understand?" Silence floated between them. "I asked you a question." She spat.
"Yes, Lady Pontifex." The blonde finally complied.
"Now that that's cleared up, something else needs to be addressed." Administrator snapped her fingers and in walked in a lesser knight; gripping Tiese's upper arm. "Bring her here." Pontifex commanded. The knight dragged the red head in; her feet tripping over themselves. To make matters worse for the young girl, Tiese was blindfolded with her hands tied behind her.
"Tiese!" Eugeo called out.
"Eugeo?!" Tiese stated in a panic. "Where am I? What's going on? What am I doing here?" The red head was pulled before the Administrator where she was then forced to her knees in submission.
"Leave." Pontifex told the lesser knight, and he did.
"Eugeo…" Tiese cried out, tears streaming down her face. "Help me."
"How dare you request something of MY knight." Administrator slapped Tiese hard across the face; causing the young girl to hit the cold icy floor on the side of her head. "Not so full of yourself now, are you?" Tiese whimpered as Administrator placed a delicate foot on the girl's shoulder.
"Why is she here?" Eugeo surprised himself by asking. He wasn't supposed to care what happened to Tiese but something inside him told him otherwise.
"Because she confessed to what the two of you did, and…. to what she believes could come from it."
"It was just a one-time thing. Nothing will happen."
"I'm so sorry, Eugeo." Tiese softly spoke, her voice trembling; her breath coming in little puffs of air due to the extreme cold in the room. "But the things she said…they were cruel and selfish…"
Eugeo creased his brows as he looked between Pontifex and Tiese; not knowing what Tiese was referring too. "What is she talking about?"
"Nothing." Administrator smoothly answered. "She's just a terrified little whore spewing nonsense."
"Then why bother treating her like that?" The blonde asked.
"I got pregnant the first time we had sex…" Administrator replied calmly as she pulled Tiese to her feet. "I just can't take the chance that the same could happen to her."
End Chapter 15
