A/N: Boy, this one was a long time coming. I know, pretty divisive work... Some people really love this movie and some people really hate this movie, but I have to agree that the movies are REALLY getting out of hand and especially with the CGI sequels. Seriously, this franchise needs to die and it seems like Richard Rich is slowly going insane with producing more and more movies. Anyway, enjoy this if you would like and if you don't... Well, I didn't ask for your opinion and you don't need to be rude in the comments. I'm aware that I have autism and I don't need you haters to remind me about my works being seen as autistic. Anyway, see ya around and keep your eyes peeled for the big surprise.
A storybook was shown entitled "The Swan Princess" before it soon opened up and showed a brand new fairy tale adventure taking place.
"Once upon a time there was a king named William who ruled a large and mighty kingdom, and yet, he was sad for he was growing old and had no child to inherit the throne," A narrator's voice narrated as an elderly man was shown until someone approached him with a bundle wrapped in a pink blanket so symbolize the birth of a baby girl. "Then, happily, a daughter was born... A princess. And she was given the name Odette. Kings and Queens came from all around to offer their gifts to the child. Among them was the widow Uberta and her young son, Prince Derek."
An elderly woman was shown with her young son around the age of six who had brown hair, similar to when young Prince Phillip came to witness Princess Aurora's christening.
"It was then that William and Uberta happened upon the same idea: Derek and Odette would be brought together each summer in hopes that they would fall in love and join their kingdoms forever, but unknown to all was another plan, that of the evil enchanter, Rothbart," The narrator continued before showing the villain of the story. "Odette's birth was of little concern to him, for he was preparing to take King William's kingdom by means of the Forbidden Arts. On the eve of his assault, William attacked and Rothbart's powers were plunged into darkness. Despite calls for his death, the enchanter was only banished."
"I'm not finished with you yet, William. Someday I'll get my power back," Rothbart snarled at the king. "And when I do, everything you own, everything you love will be mine."
"Many feared King William too kind, but in time the threat was forgotten and all hopes turned to that not-too-distant summer, when Derek and Odette would meet-" The narrator continued before showing the years passing by for young Derek and young Odette.
"Man, you're worse than my parents!" A young familiar voice piped up during the narration. "I think we should just skip to the good part."
"Brooke..." The narrator sighed.
"Come on, please." Brooke begged.
"You must have patience." The narrator told her.
"Ugh. Fine." Brooke complained.
"That's better," The narrator replied. "Now behave yourself while I tell this story."
"Yeah, yeah, yeah..." Brooke scoffed, rolling her disembodied eyes.
"Heheheh, oh, here they come!" A man known as Chamberlain chuckled.
Soon, the two adult royals came to meet with their children beside them.
"Dear Uberta, as lovely as ever." King William greeted.
Queen Uberta smiled until she suddenly had a nest on her head and chuckled in amusement. "Oh, a nest." she then noticed.
"And who might this strapping young man be?" King William then asked, seeing the young prince beside the older queen before winking at him. "Young Prince Derek, no doubt."
Atticus, Mo, Patch, and Thor blinked as they looked around them as they appeared from nowhere, but they didn't seem to be interacting with the story yet.
"What are we looking at?" Mo asked.
"Ah, there you guys are," Brooke said once she saw them. "This is just the backstory before you get into the actual story with Cherry."
"Cherry's here?" Patch asked. "Where?"
"You'll see her soon," Brooke replied. "At least now things can get interesting around here like when Cerise and the others went on that Hoodwinked adventure with the next two big adventures coming up after this one, though the bigger one might be delayed."
"Brooke. Slow down. One story at a time." The narrator reminded the younger narrator-in-training.
"Right. Right." Brooke said.
"Guess for now we'll just have to watch." Thor said.
"Looks that way." Atticus said.
"Welcome to our kingdom, Dear William and to you, young Princess." Uberta said as King William helped his daughter off the horse.
"Aw... She looks so cute." Mo smiled, referring to the young princess.
King William soon gave his daughter a little help so she could make her way over to Derek.
"Go on, Derek," Queen Uberta chuckled to her son. "Dear, go on..."
"Mother!" Derek complained.
"Derek!" Queen Uberta retorted.
Derek glared at his mother before sighing sharply as he found it pointless to argue with his mother and soon approached his bride-to-be. "Hello, Princess Odette. I'm very pleased to meet you." he then greeted.
"Pleased to meet you, Prince Derek." Odette responded as she curtsied.
Derek soon turned around and tried to run away.
"Ah-ah-ah-ah!" Queen Uberta tutted at her son.
Soon, the group could hear into the thoughts of young Derek and Odette.
"I can't believe I'm stuck with her all summer~" Derek said in his head.
"I'll bet he doesn't wrestle, hunt, or box, He looks conceited~" Odette added.
"What a total bummer~" Derek retorted.
"If I get lucky I'll get chicken pox~" Both Derek and Odette said to themselves.
"So happy you could come~" Derek sang to Odette.
"So happy to be here~" Odette sang back.
"How I'd like to run~" Both of them soon sang together.
"This is not my idea~" Odette sang.
"This isn't my idea~" Derek added.
"Of fun~" Both of them then sang together, despite their parents' insistence.
"This song reminds me of something." Patch commented.
"What's that?" Atticus asked.
"That song that the villagers used to sing about Belle before she met Prince Adam." Patch explained.
"Oh, don't worry; they'll develop feelings for each other," Brooke told the group. "Later on when they're older."
"That's good." Mo said.
They are soon shown inside the castle as Derek and Odette were seen to still not getting along while their parents were still sure the arranged, future marriage would work.
"The children seem to get along quite nicely~" Queen Uberta sang to King William.
"We'll join our lands if this arrangement clicks~" King William sang.
"Why, dear William, my point precisely~" Queen Uberta sang.
"It's such good parenting~" King William nodded.
"And politics~" Queen Uberta added. "So happy we agree"
"I think we've got a deal~" King William said.
"Derek's quite a catch" Queen Uberta agreed.
"This is my idea~" King William started.
"This is my idea~" Queen Uberta added.
"Of a match~" The two then sang together.
"And such fun!" Queen Uberta laughed in delight.
"Well, at least we're passing through time now." Brooke told Atticus, Mo, Patch, and Thor as it was now a few years later as King William left his castle with his daughter.
"Good heavens, child, don't dawdle~" King William told his daughter. "We can't keep Derek waiting
"I haven't packed or washed my hair, And Father, I get seasick~" Odette complained.
We are then shown Derek's bedroom.
"She soon will be arriving, Is that respect you're showing?~" Queen Uberta noted to her son.
"To make me kiss her hand again, I swear I'm gonna be sick~" Derek complained.
"It's funny," Mo commented to Atticus. "I almost felt the same way about you."
"Luckily we got to know each." Atticus smiled.
They were soon shown at the port where King William was getting off a ship as he walked over to Queen Uberta.
"One day, Prince Derek will be her intended~" King William told her.
"Splendid~" Queen Uberta smiled.
Derek soon had his friend sling a tomato at Odette and as it hit her, the two young boys laughed while Odette looked unamused.
"Is that his brother?" Thor guessed.
"Best friend," Brooke corrected. "His name's Bromley."
"Kinda makes me think of Gaston's friend, LeFou." Patch commented.
"We've tried all summer but we just can't lose her~" Derek sang as Bromley smirked.
"Hey, fellas, wait up!" Odette called out as she tried to join them.
"Quick, put on some speed~" Bromley sang to Derek as they hid in their own treehouse, not letting Odette join them.
"When picking teams~" Derek sang back.
"Or friends~"
"I never choose her~"
"You'd think she'd take a hint and learn to read~" Bromely sang, pointing to a sign to Odette so that she couldn't join them.
"This really isn't fair~" Odette complained.
"We really couldn't care~" Bromley and Derek sang mockingly.
"Boys, it's all or none, This is not my idea~" Odette sang.
"This isn't my idea~" Derek and Bromley sang as Bromley kicked a pole, unknowing that it was from the treehouse.
"LOOK OUT!" Patch cried out, though no one else would hear him until the treehouse soon crashed down as he winced and looked away with the others before looking back as the kids were in a bit of pain now.
"Of fun~" The three kids concluded together, all bandaged up and even wearing casts from the painful experience.
King William left with Odette while Queen Uberta was scolding Derek and Bromley.
"Well, those two did have it coming for not letting her in." Thor said.
"No one said things would be easy." Brooke remarked.
"Nope, they sure didn't." Atticus added.
"How much longer?" Thor asked Brooke.
"Soon." Brooke reassured.
"I swear she said that a long time now." Thor complained a little impatiently.
"Long before they met Derek and Odette were destined to be wedded~" The villagers sang as more time passed.
"However anyone could see the only point on which they didn't disagree was that the very thought of summertime was dreaded~" The servants in King William and Queen Uberta's castles sang.
"She tries to talk me into playing dress-up, She's always flirting with the castle guards~" Derek sang to his best friend.
"I think you really sorta like her, fess-up~" Bromley smirked.
"I'd like her better if she'd lose at cards, Four sevens and a 10~" Derek groused.
"I think I've won again~" Odette smirked smugly.
"Every time she's won~" Derek and Bromley sang together.
"This is my idea~" Odette sang.
"This isn't my idea~" Derek and Bromley sang.
"Of fun~" The three then concluded together.
Soon, Atticus, Mo, Thor, and Patch were outside Uberta's kingdom as villagers were gathering together.
"This is about where you come in." Brooke told the group.
"Thanks, Brooke." The group smiled at her.
"But where's Cherry?" Thor wondered.
They heard light humming as Cherry could be heard and she was shown, wearing a black formal dress with hints of gold and blue as she held a basket and was collecting flowers, but Cherry, being Cherry, didn't seem to be that excited or having very much fun.
"Cherry!" The group smiled.
"Oh, please don't let my hearing be playing tricks on me," Cherry begged. She soon looked to see Atticus, Mo, Patch, and Thor rushing over to her. "Phew... So, I wasn't hearing things." she then said in relief.
Thor suddenly grabbed Cherry and pulled her off of the ground, making her legs flail out. "We missed you so much!" he then said. "You missed the wedding."
"Joy..." Cherry grunted and groaned before glaring in annoyance. "Will you let me go now?"
"Oh... Sorry..." Thor smiled sheepishly before letting go of Cherry and backed away, patting his hands at his sides.
"Cherry...?" Atticus smiled before looking up and down. "...That's an interesting outfit."
"Queen Uberta heavily insisted upon it." Cherry rolled her eyes.
"Yikes." Atticus cringed.
"I know," Cherry said. "I cannot wait for this adventure to be over with."
"This adventure will take a while, but it'll be worth it in the end." Brooke said.
The narrator cleared his throat to Brooke.
"Alright. Alright. Back to the song." Brooke said.
"Hey, Brooke. How's Ever After High?" Cherry asked the disembodied voice as she looked up beyond the sky.
"Oh, you know... The usual, but I'll tell you more later." Brooke replied.
"Okay then," Cherry said before looking at Atticus, Mo, Thor, and Patch. "You guys better come with me so we can continue with the story."
"Got it." The rest of the group agreed as they followed Cherry along.
"We need a royal wedding, I'd love to be invited, At least we'd get a holiday to rest our plows and axes~," The villagers soon sang together as Cherry rolled her eyes as she didn't imagine this wedding ending well. "Someday these two will marry, Two lands will be united, And with some luck, their marriage may result in lower taxes~" they then added hopefully.
"They sure sound hopeful." Thor said.
"With how Derek and Odette have been behaving, I'm not surprised." Cherry said.
King William is seen in the next scene writing a letter while feeling worried. "What if Odette doesn't go for the merger?~" he then sang in his mind while writing the letter to Queen Uberta.
Once Queen Uberta got the letter, she knew how to reply back. "Urge her." she then wrote.
Odette and Derek were shown to be adults.
"Wow... She looks pretty..." Thor smiled.
"Yeah... I suppose she does," Cherry said with her hands on her hips. "A lot like the Disney Princesses we've all come to know in our adventures and House of Mouse visits."
"For as long as I remember, We've been told we'd someday wed, Every June until September~" Derek and Odette sang together.
"All their pushing and annoying hints~" Derek sang in his head.
"I've got bruises with their fingerprints~" Odette sang in her head as they went back and forth.
"I can do much better, I am sure~"
"He's so immature I see him smiling and my knees start buckling, I see inside him and my doubts are gone~"
"She started out as such an ugly duckling, And somehow suddenly became a swan~"
"So happy to be here~"
"'Til now I never knew~"
"It is you I've been dreaming of~" Derek and Odette sang together.
"This is my idea~" Derek started.
"This is my idea~" Odette added.
"What a good idea, such a charming and romantic notion, This is my idea, (This is my idea)~," King William, Queen Uberta, and the chorus sang together. "Such a good idea, (Such a good idea), What a good idea, such a powerful and magic potion, This is exactly my idea of love~"
"This is my idea~" Odette sang.
"This is my idea~" Derek sang.
"This is my idea of~..." Derek and Odette began together.
"Love~" The chorus then ended the song as it was time for Derek and Odette to get married.
"Arrange the marriage!" Derek soon commanded.
"Wow," Thor smiled. "That was quick."
The crowd cheered after hearing that as the music started playing.
"This seems too easy." Atticus whispered to the others.
"I know why, because Odette doesn't look like she wants to get married right away." Patch whispered back.
"Wait." Odette spoke up.
"Called it." Patch noted.
"Yeah, yeah, you called it, I've been calling it all throughout the years," Cherry whispered sardonically to him. "I could tell from the start this wasn't going to be like with Snow White, Aurora, Belle, or Cinderella."
"Not to mention my cousin Ariel." Atticus added as someone shushed them in the background.
"What? You're all I ever wanted," Derek defended to his bride. "You're beautiful!"
"Thank you, but what else?" Odette replied.
"What else?" Derek repeated.
"Is beauty all that matters to you?" Odette asked.
"Derek... What else?" Queen Uberta prompted her son.
"I, uh..." Derek stammered before shrugging at his bride. "What else is there?"
"Idiot." Cherry face-palmed.
The conductor soon does a thumbs down while sounding like a buzzer when that was the wrong answer. Queen Uberta began to look upset as that only meant the wedding wasn't going to happen.
'Something tells me we'll have to split up in this part.' Atticus thought to himself.
"Well said, Rogers." Cherry noted to the conductor before facing her friends.
The kingdom looked just as disappointed as the two families as this was not a good sign. The adventure group broke apart from the kingdom to discuss what should happen next.
