"So Cherry, you know this world well since you were sent here against your will," Mo said. "Any thoughts?"

"Oh, I dunno," Cherry shrugged. "Boys go with Derek and girls go with Odette?"

"Okay." Patch said.

'Something's telling me that something's going to happen tonight.' Atticus said.

"Atticus, you're being very quiet," Cherry said. "Are you making predictions and keeping them to yourself again?" she then guessed based on what she knew about him.

"...Maybe?" Atticus shrugged.

Cherry rolled her eyes slightly. "Anyway, that's my tip," she then suggested about them splitting up. "I definitely wanna get away from Queen Uberta though. That woman gives me such a headache."

"Sounds unbearable." Patch cringed.

"Well, why don't we go random?" Thor asked.

"Really?" Cherry asked.

"Yeah. Besides, this way you'll get away from Queen Uberta either way." Patch told her.

"Plus in the next scene, you, Atticus, Odette, and whoever goes with you guys will be turned into animals," Brooke told the group. "And no, Atticus doesn't stop Rothbart because he gets knocked out."

"Brooke!" The narrator scolded. "Remember, we are only to narrate nothing else."

"I know. I know." Brooke replied.

"Okay, I'm confused now," Cherry said, holding her head. "How are we supposed to go on with that knowledge?" she then asked the narrators.

"Easy, narrators can do something like this," The narrator told her before narrating. "And so the adventure group forgot what the narrators told them and decided that Atticus and Cherry will go with Odette while Mo, Patch, and Thor stayed with Prince Derek."

Cherry blinked and looked around. "...Did that just-" she then started.

"I've got an idea!" Atticus spoke up. "We'll split up. Cherry, you know this kingdom better than we do, so we should go with Odette, and it gives you a break from Queen Uberta."

"Oh... I suppose that's a good idea." Cherry replied.

"You guys go stay with Prince Derek." Atticus then told his girlfriend, best guy friend, and pet dog/magical familiar.

"Sounds good enough." Patch nodded.

"Queen Uberta," Mo spoke up, approaching Cherry. "How bad is she?"

"Pretty much Aunt Sarah, but with a crown, kingdom to rule, so pretty much more control than she has at Uncle Jim and Aunt Elizabeth's house." Cherry replied.

"Oh, joy." Mo said sarcastically.

They were all soon seen outside the castle as Atticus and Cherry were ready to leave with King William and Odette.

"We tried, Uberta; nobody said we didn't try," King William said before looking to his daughter. "Say goodbye, Odette."

"Goodbye." Odette said softly.

"Goodbye...?" King William drawled on, hoping his daughter to finish the sentence.

"Prince Derek." Odette said

Queen Uberta then nudged her son a bit firmly.

"Mother!" Derek complained.

"Derek!" Queen Uberta retorted sharply.

"Goodbye, Princess." Derek then told Odette with a sharp sigh.

"All these years of planning... Wasted!" Queen Uberta cried out as the wedding was called off.

"So you still want us to stay even though a wedding is cancelled?" Cherry asked as she looked up in the sky.

"That's just how it goes, sorry," Brooke replied. "I'm starting to miss my parents and Ever After High right about now."

"Don't worry, you'll see them soon." The narrator assured her.

Atticus and Cherry both soon left with Odette and King William.

'I sure hope everything will be alright.' Patch thought to himself.

Suddenly, up in the sky, there were suddenly thunder clouds as it became night as Derek, Rogers, Bromley, Patch, Mo, and Thor were inside with Rogers complaining about Derek's answer to Odette.

"What else is there? She says, 'Is beauty all that matters?' And you say, 'What else is there'?!" Rogers scoffed at Derek as the prince was playing a game of Chess with his friend.

"It was dumb, I know." Derek admitted.

"He should write a book. 'How to Offend Women in Five Syllables or Less'." Patch rolled his eyes, trying to be quiet, but was unable to resist saying that.

"Your turn, Prince Derek." Bromley told his friend.

"I didn't know what else to say." Derek sighed in defense to Rogers.

Bromley smirked as he played the game, though he seemed to be cheating and he soon won. "Oh! You lost your queen, Derek." he then told his friend.

"That's twice in one day!" Derek complained.

"Think, there must be something else you see beside her beauty." Mo told Derek.

'Oh, this should be good.' Thor thought to himself.

"Of course I do, you guys," Derek replied as he tried to think, though he seemed to be unable to think of anything. "She's like... You know! How about... And then... Am I right? I don't know how to say it!"

Thor, Mo, and Patch began to look deadpan and unimpressed.

"I'll prove it to her," Derek then told them as he went back to his Chess game with Bromley. "I'll prove my love! Checkmate!"

"Huh?" Bromley blinked as that caught him by surprise.

Later that night, in the middle of the woods, a certain man was shown, who was known as Rothbart from the beginning of the story. "Today's the day, Willy... Everything you own, everything you love, will be mine." he said fiendishly to himself.

"And you won't be alone, especially with what I have planned." A new voice said to the sorcerer.

"Then shall we get started?" Rothbart smirked.

"Yes, let's." The new voice smirked back.

Atticus and Cherry were seen in the carriage with King William and Odette.

"I just don't understand; what else did you want him to say?" King William asked his daughter.

"I need to know that he loves me for just being me." Odette replied.

"Besides, Odette can't marry a man she just met," Cherry added before her eyes darted around. "Even though a lot of princesses I've met in the past have done that."

"Sounds like Elsa's advice has gotten through to you." Atticus said to her.

"Hm..." Cherry smirked.

"Whoa! Whoa." The guard from outside the carriage soon called out.

"What's that?" Cherry asked as the carriage was slowing down before eventually stopping.

"Stay inside with your friends, Odette." King William suggested as he would handle this.

King William soon got out of the carriage to see Rothbart and someone else who was covered in a cloak before Rothbart changed into a great beast with his magic, surprising the elderly king instantly.

"What's going on out there?" Atticus wondered.

"Is it an invasion?" Odette wondered to Atticus and Cherry.

"I'm not sure." Cherry replied as she took a look out the window as she moved the curtains out of the way as King William approached Rothbart and his new friend.

Rothbart soon moved his hand around with glowing and dangerous magic that shined through before he disappeared and turned into a winged beast of some type and soon flew out for the king.

"Hey... That doesn't look too good..." Cherry noted. "Looks like something that crawled out of Tartarus."

"Sounds like trouble." Atticus said.

"What should we do?" Odette asked.

"For right now, I think we should be ready to defend ourselves." Cherry said.

The winged beast began to attack the guards and the king with Rothbart's new friend to join in the fun.

"Who's that?" Atticus wondered.

"Gee. Based on what happened last time. I dunno. It could be anyone." Cherry stated, sounding a bit dry and sardonic as always as she had a lucky guess.

MEANWHILE...

At Queen Uberta's castle, the doors were pounded on and soon came out a guard who came in through the doors and collapsed onto the floor.

"It's King William's captain!" Derek realized before he rushed over to the fallen man.

"We... We were attacked... A Great Animal..." The Captain stammered and sounded very weak in Derek's arms.

"Odette!" Derek cried out in concern before he went to go to the rescue to save Odette.

"Derek! Wait!" Rogers cried out.

But it was too late, Derek mounted his horse outside his mother's castle and he was already gone.

"We gotta help him!" Thor told Mo and Patch as a certain bulldog puppy came over to him. "Cherry and Atticus are back there!"

"Wait for me!" A young voice piped up.

"Tyke, good," Thor said as he picked up his new pet/magical familiar. "Did Uncle Drell bring you here?"

"He thought that you could use some help." Tyke nodded.

"Then let's go." Thor said.

"Agreed." Patch replied.

Mo, Thor, Patch, and Tyke soon took off as they followed after Derek.

"Oh, please be alright, my new friends, please be alright." Thor hoped to himself.

Derek leaped over a cliff with his horse, making it on the other side to where Odette and King William, as well as Atticus and Cherry, would be. Thor and the others stopped at the gap in the middle of the ground before they looked at each other. Mo's vines grabbed a turned-over tree and slammed it down to make them a bridge and they all soon safely walked across it before running after Derek and his horse.

Cherry and Atticus stepped out of the carriage to take a look even though they were told to stay put by King William.

"You shouldn't have come out~" The mysterious voice told them. "Now you're going to be in trouble just like dear Princess Odette~"

"We can handle anything you can dish out." Cherry said.

"Yeah, we've faced worse." Atticus nodded.

"I know... Now, nighty-night." The mysterious voice smirked before they soon knocked out Atticus before he could do anything.

"Hey!" Cherry complained.

"Don't ask me how I was able to do that, but I have my ways..." The mysterious stranger told Cherry before going to knock her out next.

"All right, you wanna fight? Let's fight!" Cherry challenged as she got into a fighting stance. "I have special training for just an occasion!"

"Good to know, but I highly doubt you'll be a match for me." The mysterious stranger smirked.

"We'll see about that." Cherry replied.

"Hmm... Nah." The mysterious stranger said before knocking her out instantly.

"Yaugh!" Cherry cried out as she fell next to Atticus, groaning a bit.

"Sometimes you do-gooders make it too easy..." The mysterious stranger said, lowering his hood with a sinister smirk, showing that he was, of course, Jackson de Vil.

"Jackson de Vil! You monster!" Brooke complained. "Why can't you just leave Cherry and Atticus alone?!"

"Don't care. I'm evil," Jackson smirked. "Now keep your blabbermouth shut if you value your life. I'll find a way to track you down and bring you into this world if I have to. You can't be a random voice forever just like your parents like you do in that annoying and obnoxious Ever After High. I don't know which is more annoying, that or Monster High."

Jackson soon picked up both Atticus and Cherry and took off, taking them to the same location where Odette was so they could be turned into animals.

Derek, Mo, Patch, Thor, and Tyke soon arrived at where King William's carriage was.

"Oh, my." Mo gasped.

"Hello? Hello?" Thor called as he looked into the carriage and held out Tyke.

Tyke peeked his head inside before he was pulled back out and shook his head.

"No good? Dang..." Thor pouted at Tyke as the bulldog puppy couldn't see anybody in there.

"Odette? Odette! ODETTE!" Derek soon called out.

Patch lifted his left ear up in the air. "Guys, I hear something, but I don't think it's Odette, Atticus, or Cherry." he then told them.

They soon followed Patch to see King William hurt.

"King William." Thor gasped.

'Whatever attacked him didn't hold back.' Patch thought to himself.

King William grunted as he clutched his chest in deep pain and couldn't even stand up anymore.

"King William..." Derek frowned as he approached the man who would've been his father-in-law.

"Derek... I..." King William spoke weakly to the younger man.

"Who did this to you, Your Majesty?" Thor asked as calmly as he could.

"It came so quickly... A Great... Animal." King William spoke, though he sounded like he was running out of time.

"Where is Odette?" Derek then asked.

"Listen to me, Derek. It's not what it seems," King William warned. "It's not what it seems."

"What's not?" Derek asked him then. "Where is Odette?"

"Odette is... Odette is... Gone." King William uttered out as those seemed to be his last words.

"But if Odette is gone, then where are Atticus and Cherry?" Mo asked.

"Th-They could be gone too." Tyke whimpered.

"No... No way." Mo shook her head.

"ODETTE!" Derek cried out.

"Oh, sure, now you miss her." Thor firmly pouted.

"Not the time." Mo frowned at Thor, though sad about the situation at this looked bad for all of them.

Derek cried out in anguish as the others bowed their heads in silence as King William laid on the ground, dead.

MEANWHILE...

"Ugh... My head is killing me... I need a glass of water... And some air conditioning... And maybe a little bit of WiFi with chicken nuggets if you have it..." Cherry mumbled from where she was sitting.

"Oh, good. One of you is awake." Jackson smirked.

"Jackson de Vil..." Cherry glared once she saw him. "Alright, listen up, your evil plan isn't going to succeed."

"Hmm... And how are you going to stop me? Especially in the current state you Atticus and Odette are in." Jackson smirked.

"...Give me a minute, I'm working on it." Cherry narrowed her eyes.

"Clever," Jackson chuckled. "Just not clever enough. It's sad to know that a Dalmatian puppy is better at strength and intelligence than you are."

Cherry merely stuck her tongue out at him. She then tried to use her own magic, but found herself unable to do so and looked down to see that there was some sort of black cuff on her right hand.

"Don't bother," Jackson replied. "You and Atticus have special cuffs on you that cancels out all magic and not even Atticus's god-like strength that he loves so much won't be able to break you out of those. Only I can remove them since I put them on you." he then explained rather cruelly.

"So, what are you going to do to us?" Cherry asked.

"Oh, Rothbart and I are just gonna turn you two and Odette into animals." Jackson smirked.

"Oh, wow. Didn't see that coming." Cherry said dryly.

"Hey, it's more merciful compared to my choice," Jackson smirked. "I was gonna turn you both into smoldering piles of ash."

Cherry still rolled her eyes, not feeling scared of Jackson in the slightest. "You and your aunt have lost your touch since she tried working with Captain Hook, Jafar, Ursula, and all of the other villains in The Disney Kingdom to take over The House of Mouse."

"Just wait 'til you see what their descendants would do." Jackson said to himself quietly.

"Descendants?" Cherry asked curiously.

Jackson smirked, not saying any more as he looked over as Rothbart got ready with Odette.

"Are they ready?" Rothbart asked as he approached Jackson.

"Whether they are or not, I think we should go through with it now." Jackson suggested.

"Then let us get started." Rothbart said.

"You do know that evil always loses in the end, right?" Cherry asked.

"Not anymore." Jackson smirked.

Rothbart soon used his magic to turn Odette into a swan. "Now what to turn those two into?" he then pondered with a smirk as he looked over to Atticus and Cherry.

"I might have a couple of suggestions." Jackson replied.

"Hm?" Rothbart asked as he looked over.

Jackson leaned in and whispered.

"You're sure?" Rothbart asked.

"My best advice," Jackson smirked. "Besides, they won't be able to change back even if they want to."

"Very well then," Rothbart smirked back. "Cherry Butler and Atticus Fudo... Accept your fates!" he then proclaimed as he shot both of them with magic suddenly, changing them both into forest animals.

Atticus and Cherry cried out and were suddenly changed into a rabbit and a skunk.

"Great. We've become animals of Farthing Wood... This stinks..." Cherry complained before looking down at her tail as she was the skunk. "This REALLY stinks."

"No! Don't drag them into this! They've done nothing to you!" Odette frowned as she was turned into a swan, becoming The Swan Princess.

"Now don't let my little spell make you or your new friends sad, Odette. It doesn't even last the whole day," Rothbart smirked at the three of them. "As soon as the moon comes up..." he then started before demonstrating as they briefly changed back to normal. "And that's how it works, every night. You have to be on the lake, of course, and when the moonlight touches your wings, cottontail, or skunk tail. Now look Odette, this sort of thing doesn't give me any pleasure. Well, maybe a teensy bit, but what I really want is... Is your father's kingdom." he then revealed after demonstrating his magic to the three of them.

"Take it then," Odette replied. "You have the power."

"Nah... Tried that already. Once you've stolen something, you work so hard to keep it." Rothbart said.

"But there is an easy way for him to keep the throne." Jackson smirked.

Rothbart soon used his magic, making Odette wear a wedding dress and him as the groom with Rothbart's helper, a flower girl, and Jackson the best man as the area was soon shown as the wedding with guests, thanks to Rothbart's magic. Cherry looked down and around before sticking her tongue out.

"Well, this is a little demented." Atticus noted.

"Jackson is right about keeping the throne and I know how to do it." Rothbart smirked.

"How's that?" Cherry asked before guessing as she knew how villains could be around princesses. "You gonna force Odette to marry you?"

"Why, of course!" Rothbart grinned before he faced Odette. "We'll rule your father's kingdom together, legally, King and Queen. You know?"

"Never!" Odette complained.

And then suddenly, the magical illusion faded away and disappeared, bringing them back to the lake as everything was back to just as it was before. Odette soon tried to run away, only for Rothbart to go after her to prevent her from leaving the lake.

"Where are you going?" Rothbart grinned darkly at the princess. "As soon as moonlight leaves the lake, you turn back into a swan with your new friends becoming a skunk and a rabbit. No matter where any of you are."

"All we need now is a faun and we'll be all set." Cherry rolled her eyes even though Odette was scared.

"You three better get used to this lake because you're gonna be stuck here until Odette agrees to marry Rothbart." Jackson said.

"This is bad." Atticus groaned to himself.

Odette began to cry out of sadness as there was no way for them to escape. Cherry and Atticus looked over at Odette, looking very soft and sad for the situation as Jackson and Rothbart merely left them to suffer.

"It'll get better, you guys," Brooke told them. "You know it will."

"Yeah, I guess so," Cherry shrugged. "So, what's with these cuffs?"

"They're enchanted cuffs," Brooke informed. "It only works with the person who put them on you to get them off. Not even Atticus's god-like strength can get you out or if he even uses his Wiccan magic. I don't think even Drell himself could get them off."

"Great..." Cherry sighed with a groan. "Well, thanks anyway, Brooke. I guess we'll try to figure out a way out of this situation one way or another for Princess Odette."

"Well, we'll just have to see." Brooke said.

And so while at the lake, Odette, Atticus, and Cherry met two new friends: Speed and Jean-Bob. While that was going on, Derek was practicing his archery skills with Bromley.
