"All it takes is one little word," Rothbart smirked, approaching Odette in a golden suit of armor with a crown on his head. "Will you marry me?" he then asked.

"Every night you ask the same question." Odette began to complain.

"No, no!" Rothbart groaned as he knew what was coming.

"And every night I give you the same answer." Odette continued firmly.

"Don't!" Rothbart cried out.

"I'll die first." Odette then told him.

"You're really starting to bug me." Rothbart growled as he started to turn red in his face.

"I should think you'd be used to it by now." Odette retorted.

Cherry snickered a little as she found that a little funny.

"That's it! Just keep pushing it," Rothbart snarled. "But someday I'm going to boil over!"

"Go ahead then, but I'll never give you my father's kingdom!" Odette glared.

"I was hoping you'd say you'd be mine, but it looks as if you need another day to think about it." Rothbart said with a smirk before cackling as the full moon began to set.

"We know the routine by now." Atticus frowned.

Odette soon walked over to the lake along with Atticus and Cherry before they each transformed back into their animal forms: Odette became a swan again, Atticus became a rabbit, and Cherry became a skunk. Atticus and Cherry soon got out of the water and back to shore before Rothbart left as he kicked his knight helmet away, making it vanish.

"P-Princess, Atticus, Cherry." Puffin stuttered as he couldn't believe his eyes.

"It's us, Puffin," Cherry said to the puffin. "This is kind of our lives right now."

"With no way out, especially because of these," Atticus said about his and Cherry's magic cuffs. "Not even our Equestrian medallions can help us out of this one."

"Equestria?" Puffin asked.

"Long story, but it's a world of magical and colorful talking and singing ponies as well as other creatures." Cherry explained.

"Better get comfortable; this is going to take a long time to explain our situation." Atticus told Puffin.

While Atticus, Cherry, and Odette explained their situation to Puffin, things were happening back at the palace.

"Beautiful, simply beautiful," Queen Uberta smiled as she looked at the crown which belonged to her late husband which would soon go to her son as she looked very hopeful and excited. "Soon Derek will be married and the kingdom will have a king again."

"I doubt it," Rogers rolled his eyes. "Derek still refuses to be king unless he finds Odette."

"Oh, poppycock! All that will change at tomorrow night's ball." Queen Uberta disagreed.

"They're all coming to the ball!" Chamberlain beamed as he ran inside the room with a couple of servants who had several bags.

"Who's coming?" Mo asked him.

"Every princess is coming." Chamberlain explained before he was flooded with several envelopes.

"Oh, goody, oh, my. Oh, this is wonderful!" Queen Uberta beamed before facing the man next to her. "You see, Rogers. One of these is bound to change his mind."

"Oh, absolutely," Rogers said before acting sarcastic. "Not!"

"Well, this is probably the biggest party of the career of adventures with princes and princesses," Thor said as he looked at the invitations. "I doubt we'll meet those guys though like Cherry, Atticus, and the others did."

"Boy, wouldn't that be something if the princes and princesses from The Disney Kingdom came to the party too like they do at The House of Mouse?" Tyke remarked.

"Hmm..." Thor paused thoughtfully with a small smirk. "Sounds like a crossover waiting to happen~"

"Do not lose one." Queen Uberta told Chamberlain.

"Oh, no, no, no." Chamberlain smiled nervously.

"Now where is Derek?" Queen Uberta asked. "Oh, don't tell me; I already know. More research on the Fat Animal." she then said.

"It's actually 'Great Animal', Your Majesty," Mo told the queen. "And Patch is with him."

"Well, Big, Great. It's large and has fur," Queen Uberta replied as she walked off. "Perhaps if this animal is a fox, that dog can hunt it down with my Derek."

"Hunting down a fox?" Thor asked, wincing a little bit.

"I'm just glad Tod and Copper weren't here to hear that." Mo replied as she also winced.

MEANWHILE AT THE LIBRARY...

"Listen to me, Derek. It's not what it seems." King William's voice echoed in Derek's head as he looked through various books.

"What did King William mean?" Derek asked himself as he put down one book and went to another bookshelf to look.

"Man... And I thought that The Beast had a giant library." Patch commented as he looked around the many books.

Derek soon began to look over a book before putting it down and then going to a bookshelf with a ladder as Patch followed him as the prince grabbed a book from the shelf and opened it and began to flip through the pages before getting to a page that caused him to stop.

"What is it, Derek? What did you find?" Patch asked.

"It's not what it seem... Of course!" Derek realized. "It's not what it seems! Now I'll find you, Odette."

"Well, Alex Russo one said 'Everything is not what it seems'." Patch memorized.

"It gives me an idea though," Derek told the young Dalmatian before he hopped down from the ladder and took off running. "I know what to do now!"

"Hey, wait for me!" Patch called out to go after Derek as they left the library.

"They're coming, Derek," Queen Uberta smiled out of excitement before she saw her son in a hurry. "Oh! Derek, where are you going?" she then asked him.

"To find The Great Animal." Derek told her.

"Oh, wonderful," Queen Uberta then smiled. "Just make sure you're here tomorrow night."

"Tomorrow night?" Derek asked.

"Th-The ball." Queen Uberta told him as she pointed to the invitations.

'Oh, no.' Patch thought to himself.

"Mother, I-I can't." Derek replied.

'She better not start looking like she's about to cry... She should know that Derek will never give up finding Odette.' Patch thought to himself.

However, it seemed to be too late as Queen Uberta began to make a certain face that Derek knew all too well.

"Oh, please, Mother. Don't do the lip thing," Derek told his mother as calmly as possible. "If I leave now, maybe I can be back in time." he then said in defeat.

Queen Uberta then suddenly cheered in excitement. "Thank you, darling." she then laughed out of giddiness.

"But please, Mother, don't turn it into one of your beauty pageants." Derek then said to her.

"Oh, no, no, no, no, no. It's just a few friends..." Queen Uberta promised before adding something quietly to herself. "And their daughters."

"Come on, guys," Derek said to Mo, Thor, Patch, and Tyke. "It's time to go after Odette and maybe we'll find your missing friends too."

"Yeah!" Patch, Mo, Thor, and Tyke smiled.

The five of them soon took off running to inform Bromley about Derek's finding.

Once they were out of range, Queen Uberta could now tell Chamberlain what to do. "I want this to be big," she demanded to the man in the room with her once they were alone together. "Every princess must have her own introduction."

"But you said-" Chamberlain began to remind.

"Forget what I said," Queen Uberta interrupted before looking eager and excited. "Now, send for the cooks and tell the band to start rehearsing! And I want four footmen for every carriage. Maybe five!" she then giggled before running away, getting a little bit carried away.

Chamberlain then groaned and hit his head against the floor as he could tell that this was going to be a difficult time.

Meanwhile, as Odette, Atticus, and Cherry were at Swan Lake in their new animal forms, it was daytime again.

"Let me get this straight. You mean every night when the moonlight leaves the lake you..." Puffin began to ask before he imitated and briefly turned into a swan as Odette, Atticus, and Cherry were animals again. "Honk! Honk!"

"Right. The following night, if I want to turn back into a human, I have to be on the lake," Odette replied. "The same thing happens to Atticus and Cherry, except they turn into a rabbit and a skunk."

"Totally ripping off on Bambi," Cherry rolled her eyes. "All we need is a new faun friend and we got the complete set."

"Yep." Atticus nodded.

"They need moonlight to be human again, but me, I have to be smooched." Jean-Bob smirked.

"Uh-huh. Keep telling yourself that." Cherry said sarcastically.

"No fear," Puffin reassured before he demonstrated a plan. "You fly to your prince, we bring him back to the lake. The moon comes up, you change into a princess and..." he then made a trumpet noise based on The Wedding March before he then grabbed Jean-Bob and dipped him in his wings. "Happily ever after."

"How do we find him?" Odette asked.

"You don't know where he is?" Puffin asked back, suddenly dropping Jean-Bob from his wings.

"We don't even know where we are." Odette replied.

"Though I've been calling this place Swan Lake for the past couple of days." Cherry remarked.

"I bet he does." Speed suggested, pointing to a statue of Rothbart himself in the back.

"Oh, that's a great idea. Just say 'Monsieur Rothbart, me and my friends would like to leave now. Do you have a map or something?'." Jean-Bob said sarcastically.

"That's it." Atticus smiled.

"A map." Cherry, Odette, and Puffin added.

Jean-Bob then shrieked as he covered his mouth.

"Same thing happens to me sometimes." Cherry smirked at Jean-Bob.

Jean-Bob just snarled at her in annoyance.

"Let's do it!" Odette smiled before she flew off with Puffin.

Atticus attempted to fly, but of course he couldn't. "Oh, yeah... I can't fly... Because I'm a rabbit and because of this magic cuff..." she then complained once he remembered. "Rabbits can't fly."

"Not unless you turn your ears into a propeller like Cream the Rabbit." Cherry teased.

"Oh, ha, ha." Atticus rolled his eyes.

"Me and Puffin will be right back." Odette said before she and Puffin flew off.

'If it wasn't for this stupid thing I could have flown up there,' Atticus thought to himself. 'But it's a good thing two of us can fly.'

"We're off on a mission, We're tough in good condition~" Odette sang as she looked through one window to see if she could find a map.

"We're short." Puffin sang before a shutter closed in on him onto a wall before it closed.

Odette soon pulled him off the wall as she sang, "But standing tall~"

"No fear~" Odette, Puffin, Speed, Atticus, and Cherry sang.

"'Cuz we have all the courage we require~" Odette sang as she flew with Puffin around Rothbart's creepy castle.

"Take it from a frequent flyer~" Puffin sang back as they looked around before flying away as a swarm of bats flew right past him.

"Try your luck, Our plan will fly~" Odette sang as the bats flew around before Puffin's feathers flew off as the bats came past him.

"No fear~" Odette, Puffin, Speed, Atticus, and Cherry sang.

Soon, Odette and Puffin came back.

"Any word?" Cherry asked.

"It's hanging on the wall," Odette informed. "In the upper chamber."

"Odette can keep a look out while we get the map." Puffin then suggested as he came back over.

"We?" Jean-Bob asked, almost offended.

"You're not going to help us?" Puffin asked him.

"Oui!" Jean-Bob answered firmly.

"And why not?" Atticus asked him.

"This plan if applied will be simply suicidal~" Jean-Bob answered through singing. "You'll be a sitting duck~"

"No fear~" The others chorused.

"Suppose that I do this, Who knows if we'll live through this?~" Jean-Bob continued before looking eager at Odette. "How 'bout a kiss for luck?~"

"No!" Odette replied.

"Fear~" Puffin and Speed smirked at each other.

"Well, I dunno how we can all do it, but I'll help out if I must." Cherry shrugged at Odette.

"Our team is shy one green web-footed volunteer~" Odette sang.

"No way, Jose, No chance~" Jean Bob told them.

"No choice~" Speed told him.

"No fear~" Everyone sang as Atticus and Puffin dragged Jean-Bob with them to the castle.

"Come on, if I can do it, you can do it too." Cherry rolled her eyes at Jean-Bob.

Jean-Bob just groaned in frustration. "No! Stop it! No! No! Don't!" he then cried out as he was dragged along.

Soon, they made it to the castle and it was time to get to work to see if they could use magic some other way.

"All right, quickly." Puffin told the others as they began to sneak carefully and quietly into Swan Lake castle.

"Easy for you to say," Speed snarked as he tried to follow, but due to being a slow turtle, the door shut on his shell. "Ouch." he then said dryly.

"We got a little problem, guys." Cherry noted as she tried to push Speed, but wasn't strong enough.

Puffin and Jean-Bob saw this and soon came back to try to help with Speed.

"Whenever I have to do something quick, I always bring a turtle." Jean-Bob complained as he and Puffin pulled and pushed on Speed before he was shot right out the door and Cherry came in next only for the door to shut right on her skunk tail.

Cherry let out a whimper before she cupped her muzzle with her paws and her tail was bent out of shape a bit as Atticus opened the door so that they could both keep going, though she stepped outside, stuck her head in the water of Swan Lake, and let out a very loud, pained scream, before coming back to the castle to the others to keep going.

"We can do this. We can do this." Atticus whispered.

They began to go up the stairs and soon they reached the top of the stairs.

"I think I pulled a muscle." Speed said as he reached the final step.

"I think I did too," Cherry said as she stretched. "These paws weren't made for stealth work."

"I'm gonna die! I knew it!" Jean-Bob suddenly panicked. "I'm on a dangerous mission with a lame turtle and skunk! You're gonna get us all killed!" he then added as he hit a suit of armor that came crashing down on him before Puffin could stop it.

"Not if you beat us to it." Cherry dryly retorted as they tried to help put the suit of armor back up, but the noise alerted an old hag by the name of Bridget who was Rothbart's sidekick with Jackson's Dalmatian sidekicks by her side, Damien and Demetria.

Odette soon tapped several windows with her beak to divert them away from the clatter so that her friends wouldn't get in trouble. Puffin, Jean-Bob, Cherry, and Atticus soon went up the steps until Speed got there before they did.

"Beat ya." Speed smirked a bit.

Puffin soon flew up as he saw the map and rolled it up, sending it down, though Jean-Bob got stuck in it as Cherry grabbed the map and blew into it to let out Jean-Bob who then got stuck in a book that opened and closed on him titled "SWAN SPELLS". Puffin then flew to the window to give Odette the map through there.

"We will take any dare, That the other side'll dare to dream up, We'll fight tough, we'll play fair, But we're sure to win because we'll team up~" Everyone started to sing as the map was passed around as Odette waited outside the window as she flew like the bird she was.

Bridget cackled as she closed the window, grinning darkly at the group.

"Yikes." Speed said out of dull concern.

"Head for the door." Puffin told them while flying away with the map as Bridget chased after him.

"Don't gotta tell us twice." Atticus said.

Jean-Bob began to start running which began to turn the pages in the book before he finally got to run, catching up with the others. Bridget soon blocked their path to the door, causing them to stop.

"Okay, we need a plan to get past that old hag." Atticus said.

"Anybody got any bright ideas?" Cherry asked.

"Maybe you could stink her away?" Speed suggested.

"I don't know how to use that yet." Cherry shrugged.

"Great." Speed muttered dryly.

"Sorry, but I'm not used to being a skunk yet." Cherry defended with a glare.

"All right. Jean-Bob and Cherry go deep, Speed and Atticus get the hand-off," Puffin then suggested. "Ready?"

"BREAK!" The others agreed and nodded as the hag started to come back for them.

"Set. Hut, hut!" Puffin soon called as it began to look like a football play.

Speed then gave the map to Puffin while Atticus stood in defense as Cherry and Jean-Bob ran straight ahead as Bridget reached for the map while Damien and Demetria snarled as they ran in to help Bridget. Puffin soon handed the map back to Speed, as Cherry and Jean-Bob wave their arms for attention. Speed soon saw them and then tossed the map over that way.

"We're open! We're open!" Cherry called out before she caught the map. "Hey, I caught it!" she then said out of amazement with herself.

"Good, now run before she catches you!" Atticus called out.

Cherry soon started to make a run for it with the map, only to get caught by Bridget. "Too late," she then muttered. "And just when I thought I was getting lucky."

Bridget smirked as she took the map and swatted Cherry away with a tennis racket.

"Yow!" Cherry cried out as she flew through the air suddenly.

"Catch that map!" Puffin told her as he hit her back with another tennis racket.

Cherry flew in the air again before she grabbed the map away from Bridget before smirking. "Thank you, Old Hag." she then smirked.

Bridget gasped and glared, though Cherry panicked as she began to fly over the railing of the stairs and looked like she was about to crash and cupped her eyes with her paws, bracing for impact.

"Saved you." Speed said as he swung in on a rope and carried Cherry on his shell to break her fall.

"Thank goodness," Cherry said before looking over and gasped a bit. "Whoa!"

Demetria and Damien snarled as they approached Cherry and Speed, looking vicious and angry.

"If there were any time to spray someone, now would be the time." Speed told her.

"But I don't know how," Cherry told him. "If only Flower were here he'd help me spray these two."

"How did he use his skunk spray?" Speed asked.

"If I remember correctly from the second story, he let a big 'GRR', and-Wait! That's it." Cherry said.

"So what are you gonna do?" Speed asked her.

"Let's see... Thumper and Flower helped Bambi to try to be brave," Cherry said to herself. "He was a bit of a bashful type, ya see before he became The Great Prince of the Forest. I blame what happened to his mother... Poor Bambi's mother..." she then frowned lightly.

"Yeah, yeah, get on with it!" Jean-Bob told her. "Just do what happened and what this Flower Skunk did to use his skunk spray."

"Okay... Let me try something..." Cherry said before she took out a big breath and tried to let out a small growl. "Arrrgh!" she then said, not sounding very convincing at first.

"I think she has a hairball." Puffin whispered to the others.

"No! I'm trying to be brave, Birdbrain!" Cherry glared in offense. "The trick is to be scarier than whoever's scaring you," she then took a deep breath to let out a scarier growl. "GRRRR!" she then growled before she felt something deep down inside. "FIRE IN THE HOLE!" she then cried out to the others and soon let out a big spray as Bridget, Damien, and Demetria rushed over before there was a thick cloud of green, stinky skunk spray.

And with one whiff of the smell, caused Bridget Damian and Demetria to stop and scream out of terror before running off as Bridget dropped the map.

"Nice one." Speed said while covering his nose.

"Man, and Atticus and the others think I'm dry and dark," Cherry said to herself. "But yeah, let's get out of here."

"Nice on, Cherry." Atticus nodded as they got out with the map while they still could.

Soon, they made it out of the castle and took out the map to study it so that they could plan their next move.

"There's Derek's kingdom," Odette smiled in excitement. "When do we leave?" she then asked.

The others simply responded with groans as they felt a bit of agony.

"Maybe later on, Odette," Cherry suggested. "We've been through a lot inside that castle."

"Yeah, a break before we leave for his castle." Atticus agreed.

"Sounds like a plan." Odette said.

Meanwhile, back with Derek, Mo, Thor, Patch, Tyke, and Bromley...

Bromley began to bite into an apple before Derek took out a page from one of his books to show a certain animal. "It's a mouse." he then simply stated.

"The Great Animal." Derek clarified.

"A tad small, wouldn't you say?" Bromley asked with a small chuckle.

"Yeah? Until it changes into this," Derek then said before showing a picture with a dragon on it. "An animal that can change its shape. A harmless creature approaches... Then suddenly, it's too late." he then explained to his friend.

"You mean... You mean it could be anything?" Bromley then asked as a fly flew over and soon went to land on his apple as he was about to take another bite.

"Anything." Derek nodded as he got ready to ride away on his horse.

Bromley looked unsure, but got ready to bite his apple until he saw the fly and tried to shoo it away before he wiggled on the log and soon fell over backwards, flat on his back.

"That Great Animal could be anywhere," Mo said to Tyke, Thor, and Patch. "Hopefully we can find it... Wherever and whatever it is around here."

"Actually it sounds like something that'd come from The Everfree Forest if it can take any shape." Thor shrugged casually.

"Yeah, it totally does." Patch nodded in agreement.

"But how could something from there be here?" Tyke asked.

"No idea." Thor said.

"Well, we better get going and keep up with Derek." Mo replied.

Mo, Thor, Tyke, and Patch soon took off to keep up with Derek.

"We'll see ya later, Bromley!" Thor called out.

Bromely watched them go before he shrugged and went back to eating his apple while he still could.

"I just hope Atticus and Cherry are okay," Mo sighed. "I really miss them."

"We all do, but I'm sure we'll see them again real soon." Thor reassured.

"Yeah... I guess you're right." Mo said with a small smile before Thor soon smiled back.

MEANWHILE, BACK AT SWAN LAKE...

"Odette, I apologize for the way I've been acting." Jean-Bob said, sitting on Speed's shell as they came through the water together with Atticus also on Speed's shell and Cherry carefully rode on Odette's back as they couldn't even become merpeople due to the anti-magic cuffs.

"It's all right, Jean-Bob." Odette coaxed.

"No, no. This Derek is very important to you," Jean-Bob frowned. "And all I can do is think of myself."

"Everyone does that." Odette reassured.

"Odette, don't make this any more difficult than it already is," Jean-Bob replied, nearly begging. "Accept my apology, please."

"Okay, I accept." Odette then said with a small smile.

"Good," Jean-Bob said before smirking and puckering his froggy lips. "Now we can kiss and make-up~" he then said before making kissy noises.

"Jean-Bob?" Odette, Atticus, Cherry, and Speed replied firmly.

"What? What?" Jean-Bob asked.

"Atten-SHUN!" Puffin called out as a general.

Speed, Atticus, Cherry, and Odette stood like soldiers as Jean-Bob fell into the water.

"All right, Puffin. What's up?" Cherry then asked once they looked sharp.

"It is zero hour, troops," Puffin replied before facing the literal swan princess. "Odette, prepare for take-off."

"Right." Odette replied as she made ready to fly.

"The rest of you have your assignments. Is everyone ready?" Puffin then commanded and asked.

"And we'll be involved too, right?" Cherry asked, referring to herself and Atticus.

"Yes, of course." Puffin nodded.

"Ready for action, sir." Speed then answered when needed.

"How about you, Jean-Bob?" Puffin asked the green frog.

Jean-Bob was seen ringing out his right leg like a towel to get water out of it.

"Jean-Bob?" Puffin asked.

Jean-Bob didn't answer as if to wait Puffin to call him a prince.

"Just humor him." Cherry told the bird.

"Your Highness?" Puffin asked the frog.

"Oui! I am ready." Jean-Bob then answered, ready and willing.

"Anyway, ready for action, sir." Cherry saluted.

"Me too!" Atticus added.

"Take-off!" Puffin soon called out before he and Odette took to the skies.

"Good luck! Have a nice flight! Speed called back as he waited with Jean-Bob in the lake.

"Remember! If anything happens to her, I'll have you whipped, flogged, put on the rack and then have your back legs fried in butter!" Jean-Bob firmly threatened and promised.

"Whatever you say, Frog Prince." Cherry muttered dryly.
