MEANWHILE, AT SWAN LAKE...
Our animal friends began to feel something very wrong.
"Something's gone wrong." Puffin warned Jean-Bob and Speed.
Odette kept flying while looking like she was ready to die.
"Odette, keep going; we know you can make it." Atticus told the swan princess.
"That's right." Cherry nodded.
Mo, Patch, Thor, Tyke, and Derek keep following after them as Rothbart continued to laugh evilly and where Bromley began to look concerned.
"If you hurry, little prince, I'll let you see her one last time~" Rothbart's voice laughed mockingly.
"And who knows if you all will have a chance to save Atticus and Cherry yourselves?" Jackson's voice added before laughing.
"No!" Derek cried out before he got off of his horse and brought out his sword to cut through the thorned vines that were blocking them.
Thor brought out his own sword and started to help out before Patch and Tyke luckily caught up and looked around in concern. Bromley soon decided to be brave for once and held his breath as he let go of the chain-link in the dungeon and began to swim down and found the open gap that Jean-Bob found and began to swim out of it to save himself. Cherry and Atticus looked around as Odette continued to fly around, though she was getting weaker and weaker by the minute.
"There they are!" Jean-Bob pointed out as he saw the swan, skunk, and rabbit in the night sky.
Odette's flight began to look like they wouldn't make it onto the lake.
"I don't think they're gonna make it." Speed said.
"Zhis way, Odette, Atticus, and Cherry!" Jean-Bob said.
"Come on, you three. Come on." Puffin prayed.
"I don't feel so good." Cherry said.
"Like we're going down or something else?" Atticus asked in concern.
"Yes." Cherry replied.
"Okay, Odette," Atticus said with a sigh before looking over. "Easy does it."
Odette hit the water with her wings before she soon came to a sudden landing on the dry ground as Atticus and Cherry got off of her and looked at her in concern before they soon turned human again instantly.
"It doesn't look good." Cherry said, looking over at Speed, Jean-Bob, and Puffin.
"No. No, it doesn't." Atticus shook his head.
Derek, Mo, Thor, Tyke, and Patch were seen continuing to make their way to the lake they began to look for Odette, Atticus, and Cherry before finding them with Odette not moving on the ground. Speed, Jean-Bob, and Puffin soon looked over as Derek began to look devastated and guilty over what had happened.
"Odette!" Derek frowned wearily as he knelt down to the princess and lightly stroked her blonde hair. "Oh, what have I done to you? Forgive me, Odette... Forgive me."
"Derek." Odette soon spoke softly as Atticus and Cherry let Derek and Odette reunite, but they seemed to not have very much time left with her.
"Yes, Odette? I'm here." Derek spoke softly to her.
"Derek... I feel so weak. I think I'm..." Odette replied.
"No, you'll live, Odette," Derek promised. "The vow I made was for you."
"I know. I love you, Derek." Odette replied before that seemed to be it for her.
"Odette... Odette! Odette!" Derek called, but she didn't answer before he gently set her down and looked heartbroken and crushed deep inside. "I made the vow for her. Do you hear? THE VOW I MADE WAS FOR HER!" he then added, sounding very loud suddenly.
"No need to shout." Rothbart said as he appeared.
"Yeah, we can all hear you." Jackson smirked.
"Too bad for your girlfriend though." Vicky added.
"Don't let her die!" Derek cried out.
"Is that a threat?" Jackson smirked. "I think he's trying to threaten you, Rothbart~"
"Don't you dare let her die!" Derek demanded firmly.
"Oh, it is a threat." Vicky noted.
"You're the only one with the power," Derek growled at Rothbart. "Now do it!"
Rothbart smirked before tossing him aside. "Only if you defeat... me." he then retorted before changing into a very frightening and overwhelmingly familiar sight to the young prince.
"The Great Animal!" Derek gasped in realization.
Speed and Puffin began to look terrified.
"I'm betting on the animal." Jean-Bob muttered.
"Guys, I know you can't use your magic, but we have to do something to help Prince Derek." Mo told Atticus and Cherry.
"Forgotten about something?" Jackson smirked.
"I'll handle you." Thor said.
"Me and Tyke will handle Vicky." Patch told the others.
"Yeah." Tyke nodded.
"You think I'm scared of ya?" Vicky glared at Tyke and Patch. "I have my own dog and you're nuthin' compared to him! I've been tangling with twerps worse than you since I was 14!"
"That must've been a long time ago, Sicky," Patch smirked. "Cuz if I recall correctly, you don't have much of a babysitting service in Dimmsdale anymore after that incident when you tried to get Timmy grounded for watching TV."
Vicky snarled. "Timmy and all of you will rue the day for getting me fired from babysitting and for my parents somehow standing up against me!" she then threatened. "BRING IT ON, YOU POOCH PUNKS!"
And soon, Tyke and Patch got into a fight cloud with Vicky.
"How dare you hurt my friends and the people I love and care about!" Thor glared at Jackson. "I bet you don't even have a heart in your chest and just a black hole that sucks up all of your love and emotion for others!"
"Are you just going to talk or are we gonna fight?" Jackson asked with a glare.
Thor and Jackson began to fight in both strength and magic while Atticus and Cherry went to help Derek fight off Rothbart.
"I have heard of you both," Rothbart smirked at Atticus and Cherry. "Especially a lot more from these two." he then added, gesturing to Jackson and Vicky.
"They just can never leave well enough alone on their meddling adventures," Jackson huffed and crossed his arms. "The universe treats them like a couple of so-called Saviors and they have to be unstoppable at every turn. Don't get me started on that adventure with Hercules when Atticus got his god-like strength that people oh-so-love." he then added as he rolled his eyes in mockery.
"Ah, yes... The two adventurers... Helping out yet another bunch of new friends," Rothbart chuckled. "Let's see how you fare against me."
"Not to mention me too." Vicky grinned darkly as her eyes seemed to glow before they began to be surrounded by shadows.
"Shadows?" Cherry asked as she looked over. "That's not Dr. Facilier again is it?" she then asked.
"Oh, no... Probably someone worse than Dr. Facilier actually," Vicky smirked. "I was waiting for a big surprise to share this with somebody special, especially Timmy Twerpner~"
"Well, this is new." Patch said.
"Yeah. It sure is." Tyke replied.
"Even with these cuffs blocking our magic we can still fight." Atticus glared.
"We shall see how well you two do without your magic." Rothbart smirked as he took to the sky to make the fight fair for him.
"Especially you." Jackson smirked before hipping Atticus and knocked him down instantly.
"I may not be as strong as Atticus or have the best fighting skills, but I still have my wit," Cherry glared a Vicky before smirking. "Jealous?"
"Not to mention that they won't be alone." Mo spoke up bravely.
"We'll see how far that gets you and if it will still give this story a happy ending." Jackson smirked.
Derek soon took out his sword and began to swing it at Rothbart before he was pinned down by him before throwing some dirt in Rothbart's face, causing him to get off Derek before the prince uses his sword to attack Rothbart as his left wing got a cut.
"We will make sure this story gets a happy ending." Patch growled.
"Sure... But what about the other stories?" Vicky smirked.
"Other stories?" Patch asked.
"Oh... They probably don't know what's going on like everyone else in their town who don't have magic," Jackson smirked at Vicky. "It's going to get a little too complicated for them to understand. Tut, tut," he then shook his head. "Poor Ever After High and The Disney Kingdom that they've come to know and love ever since they first had their adventures starting with 'Princess Cinderelly~'"
"We'll stop you!" Atticus glared.
"We'll see." Jackson smirked.
"I won't let her die." Derek glared at Rothbart.
Rothbart smirked as he flew into the air.
"Let's see how Prince Derek handles Rothbart while he's in the air." Vicky smirked.
"And as for you." Jackson smirked as he stepped over to Cherry, looking down at her as she was a bit smaller than him.
"Oh, crumbs." Cherry said before flinching.
Thor soon ran over to stop Jackson only for the latter to shoot him away with some magic into the bushes instantly.
"Thor!" Cherry cried out for the warlock teen.
Derek soon looked around for Rothbart before he was attacked from behind and was shoved down to the ground and carried the prince's sword in his mouth, pinning him down. Jackson soon punched Cherry right in the stomach and sent her flying back into a tree as she groaned and fell over. Rothbart grinned and soon shattered Derek's sword in his mouth.
"Ooh... Bummer," Jackson smirked before going to approach Cherry to toss her around a bit more with no remorse. "Now to get rid of you first... Being Atticus's biggest weakness~"
"Evil never wins." Cherry replied as she began to get up.
"Oh, brother." Jackson rolled his eyes with a smirk.
"She's right." Patch said as he used his magic against Vicky.
Derek soon picked up a rock and slammed it on Rothbart's left foot that kept his right arm pinned down. Vicky then suddenly seemed to disappear from the use of magic.
"Whoa... Did I just vaporize her?" Patch asked out of concern. Not about Vicky being vaporized if she was, but just surprised that he would be able to do such a thing if that was what had happened.
Vicky smirked as she soon appeared to be right behind Patch before sending something right behind him to attack him which seemed to be a bit unexpected.
Jean-Bob, Speed, and Puffin continued to look concerned for Odette, Atticus, and Cherry until one of them suddenly had a plan.
"The bow! Derek's bow!" Puffin spoke up before grabbing the frog and rolled him up into a ball and tossed him into the water behind them. "Swim to the bottom of the lake and get the bow!"
Jean-Bob screamed as he was sent flying right into the water as Rothbart kept flying in the air with Derek in his grip.
Atticus and Cherry kept trying to fight Jackson with all their might, even if Atticus was super-strong, he was still without his special strength and especially his magic, as Jackson kept taunting them with their lack of magic, so Thor and Mo helped out where they could.
"Stop it! You don't have to fight me! Whatever she told you it's not true!" Patch cried out, fighting his opponent before he realized who and what it is. "Wait... What?"
In front of the young Dalmatian seemed to be his very own shadow come to life.
"...Is that... My shadow?" Patch asked out of confusion.
"It sure is~" Vicky smirked hauntingly.
"Great, I'm fighting my own shadow." Patch groaned.
"Yep, you sure are~" Vicky smirked hauntingly before feeling Tyke bite her right ankle. "Yow!"
Tyke began to growl while biting Vicky's right ankle. Derek began to roll around the ground before Rothbart flew down and picked up the prince by his arms before flying off into the air before letting him go, dropping him from high up before catching him again and throwing Derek at a tree. Derek then grabbed a branch from the tree and began to swat it at Rothbart as he flew high above the prince, looking very aggressive and menacing as The Great Animal. Jean-Bob continued to swim down below before beaming once he finally found Derek's bow and went to take it. Rothbart then knocked Derek right down to the ground and right out of the tree as Vicky sent out more shadows and seemed to be getting stronger, even through the attacks from Mo, Thor, Atticus, Cherry, Patch, and Tyke.
"Stay still!" Mo complained as she shot out her vines to tie up Vicky.
"No, I won't," Vicky smirked as she broke free. "You twerps are no match for what I'm capable of now!"
"I don't understand!" Thor glared. "How could you possibly be getting stronger?"
"Because, there's a special essence in the air making me stronger," Vicky smirked. "Jackson's not the only one with an evil aunt that was kept hidden from all our lives until we ended up growing up to be just like them, you know~"
"Evil will never win!" Thor glared as he shoots his magic at Jackson and Vicky.
Jackson then blocked it with his own magic. "Nice. Now try mine." he then smirked before shooting his magic at Thor.
Thor soon dodged his magic while remembering what he had just learned about the cuffs on Atticus and Cherry and got an idea. "Come on, you big blowhard! You couldn't hit me with that kind of magic if I was a statue!" he then smirked back at Jackson.
"Is that a challenge?" Jackson glared sternly.
"Well, considering Drell is my uncle and no one is supposed to hurt me... Yeah, I'd say so." Thor smirked.
"I know what you're trying to do and it won't work." Jackson rolled his eyes before he glared again.
"Oh, so then I guess you're scared." Thor smirked.
"Not going to work." Jackson glared.
"Yeah, so just give up." Vicky added.
"Oh, then I guess your magic is just weak then." Thor smirked.
"Ooh, burn." Tyke also smirked.
Suddenly, Thor got struck by a giant volt of magic, sending him right into the bushes.
"Thor!" Tyke cried out in concern for that.
"How about that? I hit you with my best shot." Jackson smirked as his fingertips glowed like sparks.
Meanwhile, Jean-Bob was trying to come out of the bow's string as it held him down and he struggled to swim. He ended up on the ground once he got unstuck and soon grabbed onto the bow before some help swooped after him and began to bring him right out of the water. Speed was shown to be swimming to the rescue, holding the bow in his mouth as he came to ride out of the water with Jean-Bob. Rothbart soon flew high in the sky and was about to finish off Derek once and for all. Thor soon came back to tackle Jackson, only for the latter to smirk and hit him again with more magic.
"I hope you know what you're doing." Tyke whispered to Thor.
"I'm dumb, but I'm not stupid," Thor replied before smirking. "I just gotta wear him out a little first."
"Ohh." Tyke smirked.
"Give up?" Jackson smirked at Thor.
"You kidding? My uncle's magic stronger than that and he never gets tired." Thor smirked before charges at Jackson again.
"Let's see how long you'll last then." Jackson smirked as he shot his magic at Thor.
"You won't through my plan either." Thor smirked back at Jackson.
"And what's that? You're gonna make me shoot magic and then I end up hitting Atticus and Cherry and free them from their wrist cuffs so they can use magic to help stop me and Atticus can save the day like he always does by snapping his fingers without actually needing to do anything?" Jackson predicted.
"Uh... Well..." Thor paused.
"That's what I thought." Jackson said before shooting in the air suddenly.
Thor then jumped out of the way and the magic blast hit Atticus and Cherry. However, their anti-magic cuffs were still on, and now, they were ponies. Not like their Equestrian forms as their horns and wings were missing, but seemed to be normal earth ponies like Applejack or Pinkie Pie.
"Oh, come on!" Cherry complained.
"Ha! See? I've been one step ahead of you all the whole time." Jackson smirked.
"You're not so tough." Tyke glared.
"You think so, huh?" Jackson smirked.
"Tyke, no!" Thor cried.
"Your plan is all talk because of your magic, but I bet without your magic, you are nothing but a pathetic mortal!" Tyke growled at Jackson.
"Oh, you mean like you are or at least you were before this magical buffoon adopted you?" Jackson smirked at Tyke. "You're just a regular bulldog pup who can't do anything without your dad protecting you all the time, especially from a stupid cat and a stupid mouse."
Tyke continued to growl.
"Ooh... I'm shakin'..." Jackson mocked before kicking Tyke a bit. "I have my own magic that no one else knows about anyway and that my parents tried to hide from me, especially away from my dear Aunt Cruella."
"You will lose because evil always loses." Thor glsred.
"Yeah!" Tyke glared.
"We shall see about that." Jackson smirked.
"Wow, I never realized how annoying and repetitive that seems." Cherry commented.
"What's that?" Vicky asked.
"Whenever we're battling and we always just say how evil always loses and good will conquer evil." Cherry replied.
"Yeah, well, you heroes are all the same and my aunt said so! Especially with those punks she faced in that soulless school," Vicky glared before hitting Cherry with some sort of shadow blast. "TAKE THIS!"
"Yaugh!" Cherry yelped before glaring. "Why, you..."
"Fight back if you think you can take me on." Vicky grinned darkly.
Cherry glared and she soon jumped over and went to fight Vicky.
"Besides, it's just Rothbart now, but you guys aren't going anywhere," Jackson said with a dark smirk at the adventure group. "You'll think after he's defeat, you'll be done, but you won't be with what else is in store, especially after your little 'Swan Princess' adventures."
"Well, no matter what it might be we'll face it head-on." Thor glared.
"Ooh, an earth pony, I'm so scared." Vicky said, acting scared before smirking evilly.
'Where did Jackson even get the idea for those handcuffs? It's ingeniously evil, but ingenious,' Patch thought to himself. 'Why am I thinking like this? This is serious.'
Speed soon surfaced with the bow and Jean-Bob as they saw Rothbart ready to finsh off Derek as he started making his way towards the prince on the ground.
"Throw it! Ah, throw it! Throw it!" Puffin told the turtle.
Speed soon threw the bow to Derek with Jean-Bob included who saw Rothbart coming before he got up to Derek's face and started smacking his face to wake him up.
"Wake up. Wake up. 'Allo?" Jean-Bob said to the prince.
Derek soon opened his eyes before seeing Jean-Bob point to his bow before picking it up.
"Goodbye." Jean-Bob said to Derek as he hopped away.
"Yes, he got it!" Tyke cheered.
"Oh, yes, but there's one problem with that," Jackson smirked. "Can anyone tell me what it might be?"
"Oh, I know," Vicky smirked before getting bucked by Cherry sent flying into a nearby tree. "Ow! Okay, you'll pay for that, mule!"
Cherry just snorted air out her nose with a firm nod.
"That was pretty epic, Cherry." Mo marveled.
"Oh... Thank you." Cherry replied softly, even if she didn't exactly smile, though it was clear that she was proud of herself too.
"Oh, please..." A new voice was heard.
"Aw, great... It's the Thor/LeFou cowardly hybrid." Cherry sighed as she recognized that voice.
Bromley was trembling as he picked up his bow and began to shoot an arrow from across Swan Lake. "Oh, please, please, please..." he stuttered out nervously before shooting his arrow in the air. Everyone instinctively ducked until Derek quickly got back up to his feet, snatching the arrow right behind him through great skill like a professional huntsman. Jackson dropped down with a glare as Atticus pinned him down, despite not having his god-like strength, at least not right now before looking over as the arrow soon shot Rothbart, sending him right down into the water before there was a glowing explosion after his downfall and he seemed to be gone after that.
"Is he... Dead?" Cherry wondered.
"I... I think so." Atticus said to her.
Bromley soon passed out as that seemed to be too much excitement for him. Jean-Bob, Puffin, and Speed all soon cheered as Rothbart was defeated.
"Wahoo! He's been defeated!" Tyke cheered.
"Oh, yeah!" Patch added.
"Forgive me, Odette." Derek's voice said solemnly.
Everyone soon looked over to see Derek with Odette.
"Forgive me, all I wanted was to break the spell and to prove my love. I love you, your kindness, your courage, I always have." Derek said before kissing Odette's forehead.
"Oh, NOW he cares about her." Cherry rolled her eyes.
"Cherry!" The others called sternly.
"Well, hey, he was the one who said 'What else is there?' that started this whole mess!" Cherry defended with a shrug.
The others then murmured as they had to agree with her on that.
"Will it work though?" Cherry pondered.
"Hopefully at least." Patch replied, even if he felt nervous after what Cherry just said.
It was a bit quiet for a few moments after Derek's kiss before everyone soon let out calm sighs of relief as it was like Prince Ferdinand kissing awake Snow White after the curse of the poisoned apple.
"Derek...?" Odette's voice soon called.
"Odette!" Derek soon beamed and smiled down at his princess.
"Oh, Derek!" Odette said softly as they soon embraced each other.
"What?! But how?!" Vicky glared.
"Ever hear of true love's kiss?" Patch smirked.
"Even though he asked 'What else is there?' he's learned to love Odette for more than just her beauty." Thor smiled.
"Well, there you go; everlasting love." Puffin smiled.
Cherry had a stoic look on her face while clapping while her friends cheered out loud and celebrated true love between Prince Derek and Princess Odette and it was now time to go back over to the others along with Queen Uberta to share and announce the good news with them, leaving Jackson and Vicky alone together in Swan Lake as even Puffin, Jean-Bob, and Speed began to join the celebration.
It appeared that Jackson and Vicky were defeated after Rothbart as they met with each other while everyone else began to celebrate.
"Now what?!" Vicky complained to Jackson. "Now they're gonna go home and go on another adventure to stop evil because they ALWAYS have to win!"
"Who said that they were leaving?" Jackson smirked calmly.
"How can you be so calm?!" Vicky snarled, narrowing her pink eyes at him as she grabbed him by his collar. "Don't you see? Rothbart lost, so that means we lost! They're out of here after that pukey prince and princess get married in the end!"
"Well, normally, yes, they would, but not this time and not even that Pig-Head of the Witch's Council will be able to get them out." Jackson clarified with a smug smirk.
"What? You mean it's not over yet?" Vicky asked.
"Oh, it's far from over." Jackson smirked.
"Ooh. I like the sound of that." Vicky smirked back.
"I know, Vicky, I know." Jackson smirked back.
"So how are we stopping this happy ending without Rothbart?" Vicky asked.
"We'll just have to go to the next step," Jackson replied. "Losing Rothbart is a heavy price to pay, especially in the balance of good and evil, but we'll move onto someone more worthy and go down the line until this comes to an official end."
"Huh...?" Vicky asked, tilting her head.
Jackson sighed a bit before he explained it more to her a little. "We'll resort to help from Clavius before going to Zelda."
"...Who?" Vicky asked, feeling a little more confused. "And... Isn't Zelda like that Smellman kid's sister or something?"
"First of all, Clavius was once a great partner to Rothbart before we came along and Zelda is a wicked sorceress who is seeking an element known as The Forbidden Arts who will help us destroy everybody's happiness if it's the last thing we do, and that Zelda you're thinking of is actually Spellman's paternal aunt," Jackson then explained with a wicked smirk. "This will be an extended adventure like when those meddling dorks met that Beast who ended up being a prince until he fell in love with that peasant girl."
"This plan is brilliant." Vicky smirked.
"Yes, it is and there is no way this plan can fail." Jackson smirked back.
"If it's an evil plan planned out by you, Jackson; then this plan is flawless." Vicky said.
"I couldn't agree more." Jackson replied.
"So, what happens after this?" Vicky asked. "I mean... After Princess Odette and Prince Derek's adventures?"
"We just make a little stop to The Disney Kingdom," Jackson said before taking out a special book that had a "D" logo on it. "And make things more interesting with the endings in classic fairy tales and their descendants."
"Descendants?" Vicky asked.
"Trust me, that word will be more important in about 20 years from now." Jackson grinned before they soon left Swan Lake together, going through another portal suddenly.
"Where have you been all my life?" Vicky asked, in wickedly evil love with Jackson as they left Swan Lake.
