Candace and Ferb were back in the backyard of their house, constructing on the top of a very tall landing tower and tinkering with a futurotic-designed car.

A hypocritical Candace dug in a toolbox, and glanced at a blueprint next to her. Oh, how does Phineas even know what to do with his crazy ideas? She thought. I don't even know what I'm supposed to be doing, anyway! She tossed the blueprint aside.

"Hey, uh, Ferb?"

Ferb poked his head out from the open car hood.

"Remind me, again, exactly, how we're working on this Flying Car of the Future, Today thing?" Candace anxiously demanded to know.

Ferb rolled his eyes, now getting irritated by "Phineas'" strange behavior. "Phineas, may we talk? On the ground?" He gestured down.

Candace tried to grin casually. "Of course."

Candace and Ferb headed down the elevator from the tower, and stepped out, back on the ground.

"Phineas. You've been acting strange all morning. Are you sure you're feeling alright?" asked Ferb.

"Yes. I'm fine," Candace tried to assure him.

"No, you're not," Ferb shook his head, and then frowned seriously. "There's something wrong with you today, and you don't even want to tell me what it is."

Just then, Isabella, Baljeet, and Buford came in through the backyard gate.

"Hey, guys. So how's the-" Isabella started to ask.

But then she cut herself off once she noticed Ferb lecturing "Phineas".

"Oh, is this a bad time?" asked Isabella.

Ferb was the one who answered. "Not now, Isabella. We're just having a little talk about Phineas and his strange behavior today, so far."

"Yeah. You really have been acting weird today. You're not acting like your old 'Phineas' self," agreed Buford.

"Yes indeed," Baljeet added. "It is not just Phineas and his behavior. It is also because-"

Candace couldn't take it anymore. "All right! Fine!" She stated. "You guys are really starting to get on my nerves! You wanna know what's going on with me?"

The gang all stared at Candace, fully paying attention to her.

Candace composed herself, and sighed. "Then, I'll tell you, what's going on with me… I'm not Phineas. It's me, Candace."

The gang stared blankly at what Candace had just said; after a moment, Buford just laughed.

Baljeet seemed puzzled by this.

Isabella looked rather worried for "Phineas".

Ferb just narrowed his eyes.

"Shut up, Dinnerbell!" Buford cackled, slapping his knee.

"Hey! I'm not kidding!" Candace complained. "It's really me, Candace! Something strange happened to me and Phineas last night! We've switched bodies!"

But that just made Buford laugh even harder. "Yeah, right. Just like Candace switched bodies with Perry, last summer!"

Baljeet blinked, suspiciously. "Care to explain exactly how you two switched bodies, if that is possible?"

"I don't know!" whined Candace. "All we know is that the lightning yesterday must have had something to do with it!"

"Lightning?!" cried Baljeet. He clapped his hands to his face. "Oh no! The lightning must have returned!"

"Relax, Jeet!" Buford snapped. "There never was any lighting!"

"Um… maybe you just need some time to yourself," Isabella suggested.

Ferb nodded in agreement. "Let's put the Flying Car of the Future, Today on hold, until you're feeling better." He pulled out a fob button from his pocket, and pressed the button.

"No, wait!" Candace tried to stop Ferb.

But she was too late. The landing tower began to close itself up, until it folded up into a drawing board.

Candace growled. Another chance to get her brothers busted… foiled again. She didn't even have the chance to call their mother yet.

"Wow," Buford thought aloud, now getting annoyed. "Candace musta taught'cha so well, you're even starting to sound just like her. That psychotic chick." He walked back out, pushing past the gate, and started to leave.

Candace's jaw dropped. Psychotic chick? She couldn't believe what Buford had just called her, and began to tense. Enraged, Candace pushed herself past the gate, and grunted as she shoved Buford to the ground.

Ferb, Isabella, and Baljeet all gasped in shock.

Candace then shouted in Buford's face. "Nobody talks like that about me…" she caught herself, and quickly added, "or my sister! Do you hear me?!"

Buford was also shocked like the others. But, then he gave a competitive glare. "Oh yeah?!" He got up, brushed himself off, and grabbed "Phineas" by the shirt. "You want to take me down?"

"You're the one who's going down!" hissed Candace.

Isabella ran over to "Phineas" and Buford to push them away from each other. "Hey! Put him down!" she shouted.

"Do as she says, Buford!" cried Baljeet. "Violence can only lead to more violence. You remember the brawl match at the mall, right?"

Neither Buford or Candace were listening. It was at that very same moment Candace tried to smack Buford in the face.

But Buford ducked his head, causing Candace to send her fist into Isabella's face, instead.

Isabella screamed, and fell to the ground.

Everyone gasped again, and all stared down at Isabella.

Buford instantly let go of Candace, and tried to act casual.

"Isabella! Are you alright?" cried Baljeet.

Isabella was covering her right eye. She looked at her hand to see if it was bleeding. Luckily, there was nothing. But when she looked up at Candace in shock, this revealed to the others that her right eye had turned black.

Candace clapped her hands over her/"Phineas'" mouth in absolute horror at what she had done to her brother's friend. The girl who lived just across the street from the Flynn-Fletcher house. The girl who's always had a huge crush on him, and he didn't even know it.

"Isabella… I... I didn't mean to…" Candace began, trying to apologize.

Isabella didn't say anything, and just ran out of the backyard on the verge of tears.

At that very same moment, Linda's car suddenly pulled into the driveway. Linda stepped out of the car. "Hmph. I didn't get a single call from Candace," she mumbled to herself. Just then, she noticed Isabella crying as she ran back into her own house.

Candace flinched upon the sight of her mother. "Mom! You're back so soon!" She tried to grin casually.

"What's going on here?" Linda asked the other kids. "Why does Isabella look so upset?"

Buford and Baljeet both seemed to be uncomfortable by this situation.

"Okay, I'm going home now," Baljeet quickly dismissed himself, and left.

"Looks like you're on your own, Dinnerbell! I'm outta here!" Buford stated, before running off, as well.

Linda watched in confusion as Buford and Baljeet left. Then, she frowned and turned back to "Phineas" and Ferb. "Boys…?"

Candace gritted her/Phineas' teeth anxiously. "Well…" she didn't know what to say. "You see, I… well, I… I mean Ferb and I, we… we-"

Ferb glared at Candace as she stammered. He had finally had it with "Phineas'" strange behavior. "Phineas has gone loony, today!" He blurted out.

Linda raised her eyebrows at Ferb's sudden outburst. "Loony? What do you mean, 'loony'?"

"He's not himself," Ferb explained. "Phineas has been acting strange all morning. I don't know what's gotten into him."

Linda leaned down and felt "Phineas'" head. "Phineas, are you feeling okay, sweetie?" she asked.

Before Candace could answer, an angry shout came from across the street.

"Linda!"

Flinching, Linda looked up to see Vivian Garcia-Shapiro approaching her in an angry manner.

"Vivian?" Linda blinked in surprise and confusion. "What is it?"

"Just take a look at what your Phineas has done to my Isabella!"

Isabella was right beside her mother, still covering her eye. She slowly moved her hand away, and showed Linda her black eye.

Linda studied Isabella's black eye, shocked that Phineas would do such a thing. Then, she looked back at "Phineas" with anger filled in her eyes. "Phineas! What did you do?!"

Candace didn't know what to say. "I-I-I… It's not what you think! It was an accident! I got in a fight with Buford, and things just got a little out of control! He called me a psychotic chick!"

"He called Candace, a psychotic chick!" Ferb corrected.

Candace was now getting agitated on pretending to be Phineas and being forced to say her own name. "Whatever!"

Linda turned to Vivian. "Thank you, Vivian. I can take it from here," she said, poliotely dismissing her neighbor. "And don't worry. Phineas won't be doing anything like this, ever again. I promise you that."

"Come along, dear," Vivian put her arm around a weeping Isabella, and gently escorted her back to their house.

Linda sighed, and finally shook her head. "Well, this is going to make Candace happy, but…" she glared at "Phineas", again. "You are in SO much trouble, young man!"

Candace couldn't believe her own ears at what Linda had just said. "What?!" She cried. "You mean it?! You really mean it?! I'm bu… bu… bu…?" She couldn't finish her favorite word.

Linda growled in irritation. "Yes! Busted! B-U-S-T-E-D, busted!"

Candace didn't say a word. Finally, she had fulfilled her main goal of busting her brothers - well, just "Phineas". But, to her surprise - not for their ideas, but for the new behavior she was giving "Phineas", making it look like he's really lost his mind.

Candace couldn't do anything, but grin nervously at Linda's glaring face.

As for Phineas, now that he was finally free from Suzy, he decided to give "Candace" something he thought she never had - the summer she never had.

"Spa Day" (Instrumental)

First, he went to the Le Rub de Scrub Spa, remembering that Candace had blown it off to help Jeremy build houses for charity. Once there; Phineas did exactly what he reckoned Candace would have done; soak in the hot tub, took a nice long shiatsu massage, relaxed himself lying on a lawn chair wrapped in a towel, along with a facial mask and cucumber slices of his eyes, and ended with a hot steaming shower.

When he finished, Phineas got himself/"Candace's" body a styling makeover; including getting "Candace's" hair curled the same way as it looked after the F-Games and for the Summer Cotillion.

After that, he went to the Googolplex Mall to do some shopping; buying some clothes, accessories, and even

Finally, he ended with a manicure and a pedicure; and a nice long footbath.

Phineas decided to show off "Candace's" new look, walking down the streets of Danville and carrying his shopping bags; he was now wearing a purple strapless tank top with a matching skirt, baby pink pantyhose, lavender flat shoes with little bows on the front, and a lavender headband of his/"Candace's" head. He also had on dark purple sunglasses, gold hooped earrings, and a green choker around his/"Candace's" neck.

"It's Candace (Reprise)"

(Danny Jacobs)
"La la la la,
La la la la la,
La la (yeah) la la,
La la la la…

She's Candace."

People began complimenting "Candace" as Phineas passed by.

"Hey. Cool style." "Oh, my gosh! I totally want one of those shades!" "Can I call you?"

Phineas smiled as if to say 'thank you'.

(Danny Jacobs)
"She's Candace."

"Phineas," Linda was gently scolding "Phineas" in the boys' bedroom, "I don't know what's gotten into you, but I do not like this new attitude. And what you did to Isabella was very wrong and hurtful of you."

"I said I was sorry!" complained Candace.

"Well, I'm sorry to say so, but saying you're sorry doesn't always fix everything," Linda told "Phineas".

"Then, what else am I supposed to do?" asked Candace. "Just sit here and blame myself for everything?"

"Yes," informed Linda, sternly. "For now, all I can say is that you're going to stay right here, and will not leave this house for the rest of the day. And while you're here, I want you to think about what Isabella's feeling. How would you feel if the same thing happened to you?"

Candace bowed her/"Phineas'" head down in shame. "Yes, Mom."

"Good," said Linda.

She got up to leave the room.

Ferb came in just as she stepped into the hallway.

"Ferb, honey," Linda spoke to Ferb. "Would you mind keeping an eye on Phineas, and make sure he doesn't get into any more trouble?"

"Sure, Mom," Ferb casually replied, before gently closing the door. Then, he shook his head disappointedly. "Wow, Phineas. You just had to get yourself down for this case. Now we have to cancel everything today, because of this!"

Candace still couldn't believe it. She knew she should be celebrating the fact that she finally got Phineas and Ferb busted. But not for their ideas. But for making "Phineas" look and act like an absolute lunatic. Especially for punching Isabella in the eye.

This is awful, Candace thought to herself. I finally get what I want, and it stinks. Oh, how am I ever going to explain this to Phineas? Phineas!

Candace looked at the wristwatch on her/"Phineas'" wrist.

It read 11:40.

Oh right! Candace remembered she was supposed to be meeting Phineas at the spots they were at when that mysterious lightning struck them. Her date with Jeremy was probably over for him, by now.

"Ferb," Candace said.

"What?" Ferb turned to her.

"I forgot, I promised Candace I'd meet her in town."

"Well, you can't, now" said Ferb.

"That's why I need you to do a big favor for me."

"Which is?"

"I need you to stay here and cover for me while I'm out."

But Ferb glared at "Phineas". "Are you nuts! Do you know how much more trouble we could get in? No way!" He turned away from "Phineas".

"I know!" Candace put her/"Phineas'" hands up. "Look, I'm really sorry, Ferb. For everything, so far. There's just something I gotta do, right now. But I can't do it, unless you're willing to help me."

Ferb didn't answer.

Candace sighed, in frustration and sorrow. "And after that, you can still hate me if you want. But I will promise you this... I'll make it all up to you. No more craziness, no more hitting people. I'll make it up to all you guys. And I'll never do anything like this to you again."

It took Ferb a few seconds to turn back around.

Candace stared pleadingly at her stepbrother, hoping he would agree. She was honestly talking about her true Candace self; she really wanted to make it up to her brothers, and never cause any trouble for them again.

Ferb hesitated for a moment. Finally, he simply said, "Oh, alright."

Candace beamed. She happily threw her arms around Ferb. "Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you!"

Ferb was confused. Surely, he believed that "Phineas" was still acting crazy. But, he shrugged, and hugged back.

Once they parted, Ferb asked, "So what do you want me to do?"

Candace smirked at him.

Linda was in the kitchen, baking some pie.

Ferb came walking in, acting casual.

Linda noticed. "Ferb, honey, you're still watching Phineas, are you?" she asked.

"Yes," Ferb responded. "Yes I am. I just thought I'd get us some drinks, if that's okay?"

"All right, then," said Linda.

Ferb opened the refrigerator, and stuck his face inside. "Um… where exactly is the orange juice, again?"

Linda stopped what she was doing, and went over to help Ferb look for the orange juice.

While she was distracted, Ferb merely rolled his eyes to "Phineas" who went rushing out the front door.

Linda took the pitcher filled with orange juice out. "It's right here, Ferb. On the second shelf. Didn't you see it?" She narrowed her eyes at Ferb.

Ferb put on a sheepish grin, pretending to look embarrassed. "I knew that," he said, before pouring some of the orange juice in two glasses.
