I stood there outside Bella's apartment door my hand raised about to knock,'why is my heart beating so fast? Am I shaking, why am I getting so nervous, It's only been a few months since I've seen her it's fine everything's fine' I knocked.'Oh God she probably hates me, is it too late to turn back...'
The Door opened, princess stood in the doorway dressed in a long brown linen skirt, a white button down, a olive green ribbon around her neck tied neatly in a bow of which a cameo was pinned, and around her waist was a sash of a similar olive green. A classy Edwardian outfit would be the best way to describe it, her frizzy hair was pulled pack into a low bun, and on her face was a pleasant youthful grin dotted with freckles and her glasses witch seemed to go with any era of clothing.
"Well then lead the way," She said.
I felt a cold drop hit my forehead," You might want to get your brolly, I forgot mine."
"One step ahead of you, already,"She said making one appear seemingly from nothing.
I took her by the arm as we began to walk I started to ask her," So how's Francis holding up?"
"Oh This is her last year at St Marie's boarding school, she's currently developing her own video game I forget all the details about it but apparently it's a cyberpunk detective game, so that sounds interesting. Mark and Michael are doing alright they where recently casted in the public theatre's production of Phantom Of the Opera," she said with a sigh.
"So how were you holding up till now?"
"Added another 100 cases to my resume that's what, and you?" she said looking up at me.
I could feel my face grow red,"Well, I guess I haven't had as much luck as you,"We continued on in silence.

"Aoko why are we here?" I asked rather irritated.
"Well you know the new transfer student, well I asked Hakuba-kun if he'd be willing to introduce us to her,"Aoko exclaimed perky as ever.
Two figures came in from the rain, It was Hakuba and the new girl. Hakuba was wearing a dark waistcoat with a black overcoat.
"Wow you guys look like a married couple from the 1800's,"I said poking fun at Saguru.
Saguru stood there his face turning red, the girl looked at him ten back at me.
"Well I guess you could say that but you would be wrong. In fact Saguru and myself tend to gravitate toward the Edwardian trends, witch didn't come around till after the 17th century, 1901 through 1910 to be exact. As for the entire 'couple' thing you can go ahead and drop that, looks can be deceiving, I'd expect you of all people Kuroba Kaito-kun,"She said with a smug grin.
"Let me guess Hakuba told you a bit about us already."
"Well to say that I knew a bit about you before entering this room would be true, but it's only because I knew your father, And I stole your phone within the 30 seconds that no one was looking,"She explained.
I reached into my pocket and instead of my phone found a white card with a red rose printed on it, 'How?'
