Saguru's pov
"I think they like you, and so do I," Isabelle said.
I felt butterflies in my stomach. 'What is this feeling?'
The girl looked at me,"Your face is all red are you feeling okay?"
I paused momentarily and nodded,"Y-yeah," I said softly. I never talked much, mother said I had selective mutism, whatever that meant.
A maid walked out of the door and whispered something in the blonde woman's ear.
Isabelle's mother's face changed to one that looked shocked,"Yes I'll be there, Lottie can you take the children downstairs to the rest,"She said gently handing over the infant.
"Yes Ma'am."
The blond woman got up from her seat and walked into the room, from outside the french doors I could see her enter an upstairs hallway.
Lottie smiled at us,"Well Isabelle, your father has something special for you downstairs, you birthday girl."
I clutched Watson to my chest as we returned the same way we came. No one was in the grand entrance room when we arrived.
"I believe they're waiting in the drawing room," She leading us to a set of doors.
Inside were several sofas which seemed to be bursting at the seams with stuffing, it looked as though the buttons could pop off at any given moment.
Mother and father sat with several other adults.
"That's my grandmother, uncle, and Aunt," Isabelle whispered in my ear pointing to the other people in the room,"Those two over there are my cousins, Mark and Michael, they're twins."
I looked over at the boys in the corner. They each had a mischievous glint in their eye despite the fact they looked bored out of their minds. They looked dreadfully uncomfortable as they sat under the stern eye of Isabelle's Aunt. They constantly shifted their clothing and complained it was choking them. The boy's eyes lit up as they saw me.
A tall man with black hair entered the room, in his arms was a box wrapped in brightly coloured paper.
"That's my father," Isabelle said softly in my ear.
"Lottie Could you go get Catherine," the man said, his voice sounded powerful fierce.
