Saguru and I entered the classroom and took our seats in the back of the classroom. Naturally we were the first of the students to arrive. More students began to trickle in, arriving in groups of three or four. Many of the girls just pretended Hakuba and myself didn't even exist, and I'm okay with that. I'd rather get no attention than only negative attention, and I've had my fair share of negative attention.

Eventually Kaito and Aoko joined us in the back of the classroom. Aoko's face was painted with excitement, she grinned and skipped giddily to my seat,"Bella-chan do you want to come over to my place tonight."

How exactly do you tell someone you have a live show at six and can't stay long because of that.

"She can't go, she has violin lessons at six," Saguru said, blatantly.

"W-what, that doesn't mean I can't go, I just have to leave before six,"I retorted.

"Yeah, but Princess knowing you, you'll wait till the last moment to get ready to leave, get so nervous that you forget your violin, leave, come back, and then your late to class,"Saguru said, setting his book to the side.

"You forgot about existential dread," I said,"Besides I'm not scatterbrained, I've never been late to anything in my life."

"Yeah but you worry about everything," Saguru responded. Kaito now looked vaguely interested in the erupting argument.

"And it works, 90% of the things I worry about don't happen," I said, earning a chuckle.

"I bet you'll forget your violin though," he repeated.

"Okay but what are the stakes?" I inquired.

"Hmm . . . If I win you give me your picture of Tesla,"Saguru said after a brief pause.

"Let me get this straight, you want my STOCK photo of Nikola Tesla. The stock photo I found on the internet and printed off for free. The one that is currently sitting on my counter," I clarified.

"Yeah that one."

"Why can't you just print it off?" I asked.

"Don't have time," he said as if that was obvious.

"What do you mean, you have plenty of time to chase thieves this afternoon, but not enough time to print a picture of Nikola Tesla," I said exasperated.

"What, I'm being nice it's not that important, so it won't matter when I inevitably win," he said rather cockily.

"Alright If you win, you get my stock photo of Nikola Tesla, if i win I get to watch your parents home videos of you when you were six," I said with a Cheshire grin.

Dexter cringed at the thought,"Is this what blackmail feels like?"he muttered.

"What, it won't matter since your inevitably going to win the bet anyway," I said with a smug smile.

"Fine," Saguru said coming in for a handshake.

"Deal,"I said as I firmly shook his hand making sure the deal was sealed.

"Do your arguments often lead to bets?" Kaito asked.

"Yes, we keep a tally of who wins, currently tied at 52," Saguru answered, just as the bell rang.
