Kaito's pov

Aoko and I walked into the classroom, nearly everyone was there. The air was hung with excitement, the positive energy was so strong you could smell it. Everyone looked thrilled and couldn't wait for today's classes to be over with, well everyone except two people.

Saguru and Isabelle sat at their designated seats in the back of the room. They both looked like they hadn't slept a wink last night. 'welp time to harass them' I made a b-line to their seats.

"So how are you?" I asked being as obnoxious as physically possible.

Isabelle looked at me, groaned at my presence, and slammed her head on the desk with a loud 'THUMP'.

"What's the matter with her?" I said, poking her scalp.

Saguru slapped my hand,"Leave her alone Kuroba-kun."

"What? I only asked a harmless question," I protested.

"Can you please leave?"

"You know I could, but I don't want to," I said, pulling a chair over.

Hakuba stared blankly at me,"We're already going to be stuck in the same vehicle for an hour. Are you sure you want to do this now?"

"How could you forget about the bus to the theater?" I said, with faux concern.

Saguru looked at me, turned, and stared out the window ignoring my existence. The bell rang and took my place at my seat.

Later that day

Everyone shuffled out of the bus. Many of the boys would ram into each other, the girls gathered together in their cliques and gossiped about this and that. I scanned the faces, stopping at Hakuba and Isabelle. Isabelle smirked at Hakuba, who traded it for a Cheshire grin.

"Alright class, I want you on your best behavior. Remember not only do you represent yourself but our school," Sensei announced forcing the attention of the class.

"Yes Ma'am," Everyone replied robotically.

Sensei herded us all into the building. The lobby was bustling with people, everyone moving about, anticipating what was to come.

"What do you think she's going to do?" Aoko asked standing to my right.

"I honestly have no idea, I've known her for awhile but I've never been to her live show before," Hakuba said, walking up to my left.

"You know her?"

"Yeah, she's like an older sister to me," he replied.

"Well I've been to her live show onc-" Isabelle started before someone had bumped into her.

"Oh my God. I'm sorry I didn't mean to bump into you," The girl said, she wore a blood red button down shirt, a black waistcoat with red embroidered roses on it, black breeches embroidered with red roses where they buttoned to her white stockings. Her shoes were white and black, oxford, wingtips, her hair was sloppily tucked under her black greek fisherman's cap, the brim of which was pulled down to hide her face," I'm so sorry I hope I didn't hurt you," her voice reminded me much of Isabelle's they way it was much deeper than the average girl's, not that she had a manly voice but rather an alto, it was sweet and had a tinge of mischief hiding within it. But the thing that stood out most was her height, Like Isabelle she seemed to be 16 but one could easily mistake her for a middle schooler.

"It's alright, there's no need to keep apologizing," Isabelle said with a laugh.

The other girl looked up far enough for me to see the bottom half of her face, she wore bright red lipstick, and her cheeks were dotted with freckles,"Thank you mum, though I must be going."

She turned and left.

"People should watch where they're going," I grumbled.

"You both have met her, you're so lucky," Aoko said.

Hakuba chuckled lightly," But you just met her."

"Wait, that was her?" I asked, in disbelief,"She's so short."

Isabelle glared at me.

I raised my hands up in a defensive manor.

The class made their way into the auditorium.

"Yep, that was her," Hakuba replied.
