White Lily 44
White Lily- my love is pure
Saguru's pov
We sat under the vast starry blanket. I spooned Isabelle and held her close. She'd lean her head back and point up at the sky naming each constellation, and telling the story behind it.
The others there simply stared up and murmured to each other. A soft breeze came, carrying the pink flowers with it. The trees swayed, and the birds sang their last songs, mourning the faded light. Above head the moon shone bright. It was late and I could feel my body grow heavy.
"I don't know about you, but I'm ready to turn in," Kuroba-kun said with a yawn.
Everyone else gave a tiered nod, and we continued back.
I waited until everyone, but princess, went into their rooms. I placed my hand on her shoulder, she turned back and smiled sheepishly.
Sunday March 20th
7:00 am
Isabelle's pov.
Saguru stirred in his sleep, he lay curled around me, his arms around my waist. I wriggled around so I could see his face. He looked so cute when he was sleeping. I brushed back his hair that stuck out in every direction. His soft snore made me chuckle.
Something caught my eye behind him. The door moved.
'Oh fuck'
There came snickers from beyond the threshold. A door opened from down the hall.
"What are you doing?" Heiji's voice said.
"Keep it down you'll wake them up," Kaito's voice hissed.
"I'm not deaf," I said, out loud, using a downcast voice. I sat up.
I had already come up with a foolproof excuse, all I needed was to pull it off. I slipped out of the bed and walked out of the room.
"Isn't that Saguru's room?" Heiji asked.
I nodded.
"Why were you... wait were you h-"
"No," I said cutting him off.
"If you weren't doing that, then why were you in there?" Kaito asked being the pervert he was. He stepped in front of my door.
In actuality Saguru just wanted to make sure I'd be alright, I frequently have night horrors, I never know when they'll come. Saguru knows I'm at ease when I'm around him, and he always wants me to know he's there, even if nothing at the moment is wrong. Last night he simply wanted to let me know that he cared.
"You don't know what it's like to be haunted day and night by the death of someone you thought loved you," I said, forcing tears,"You don't know what it's like to be scared to close your eyes because you don't know what you'll see," I gave them the most convincing tears I could manage," So I'm sorry for seeking comfort in someone I know will give it to me."
The two froze, something came over Kuroba-kun. His expression changed to one of sincerity,"I'm sorry, I didn't know. We won't tell anyone, I swear it."
Generally I wouldn't believe him, but he really seemed to mean it.
