Meanwhile, the Turtles and our group were shown to be clinging under the wagon.
"Are you sure this was a good idea?" Cherry asked the Ninja Turtles.
"Uh... It was Mulan's idea?" Leo replied with a shrug.
"Sure it was..." Cherry rolled her eyes.
"Just keep it cool, guys," Lionel advised. "We can't risk getting caught."
"Yeah, just keep calm and we'll make it through alright." Atticus added.
"Well, they fell for it." Leo then said.
"Shh! Keep it down, Leo." Raph shushed.
Luckily, they still weren't caught as they rode along without being seen or heard.
"So they've gone missing," Walker said, coming down a set of stairs with Lord Norinaga as they decided to talk. "I mean, war does have a habit of doing that to people. It's time to look to the future."
"You do not understand," Lord Norinaga retorted. "My Honor Guard carried a sacred family relic brought to us from an ancient and mysterious wizard who dared to not speak his own name to ensure victory."
"Ah, yes, the golden scepter," Walker nodded as he memorized from what he was told. "Well, one does hear things."
"Secrets leak like a stink from a dead pig." Lord Norinaga told him sharply.
Walker glanced at him in brief silence, almost disgusted. "...You certainly can turn a phrase, my lord," he simply stated. "Listen to me, Daimyo. Guns ensure victory, not some ancestral good luck charm from a strange person you haven't met." he then added.
"You are wrong," Lord Norinaga disagreed. "If the scepter's lost, my clan is lost, and you, Walker, will have no one to trade with but yourself." he then said before walking off mysteriously.
Walker was silent for a moment before he shouted out. "NILES!"
Niles then rushed over as quickly as he was summoned with a brief salute. "Captain?" he then answered once beside his superior.
"Bring me the woman." Walker then demanded.
Niles nodded, and left the area. Right after, the Turtles and their friends got out of hiding.
"C'mon, guys," said Leo. "Let's find the temple. Maybe April's still in there!"
Next out was Don. "Kenshin's dad must be loaded," he remarked. "I think I saw this place on Lifestyles of the Rich & Dangerous."
Meanwhile, Niles was grumbling to himself as he went to get April. "'Bring me the woman, Niles'," he mocked. "'Lick my boots, Niles'...'Feed my birds, Niles'... What's next: roll over and play dead?"
The group soon made it over and stood in front of Niles.
"Oh! What are you looking at, you ugly lump of dung?" Niles sneered at the group in front of him.
"No need to be crude," Cherry rolled her eyes. "You kiss your pillow with that mouth?"
"Cherry, not now." Atticus advised.
Raph roared and snarled in Niles' face, feeling very angry and offended. "Dung, huh?"
The group looked at each other before growling and scaring off Niles and his friends as they passed through.
"Yeah, you better get out of here!" Cherry growled. "You cross me again and I'll show you my pet, Mr. Tibbs!"
The three men soon wandered off, feeling a bit scared and intimidated.
"Later, Popeye." Donny chuckled.
"I'm gonna get that guy!" Raph snarled at the others. "Did you hear what he called me, Leo?"
"Yeah, an ugly lump of dung." Leo stated like it was no big deal.
"Well, that was an insult, Leo." Raph defended.
"Not necessarily, Raph," Donny spoke up. "Did you know that in some countries dung is used as a fuel source?"
"'Did you know that in some countries dung is used as a fuel source'?" Raph imitated in mockery, snarling viciously. "Why, I oughta!"
"Just let it go, Raphael," Mulan advised. "You can't let your anger get to you and be your crutch if you ever want to be a good fighter or hero."
"Perhaps we haven't been properly introduced," Raph replied dryly. "I'm Raphael, the team's short fuse. Being angry is kinda-sorta my bread an' butter."
"You can be angry all you want, but you can't let it control you otherwise it could destroy you." Mulan advised.
"Clearly you need a lesson," Raph snorted. "I'm fine just the way I am."
"You keep telling yourself that." Mulan then said dryly.
A couple of soldiers soon came over which made the turtles tense up.
"All right, try to blend in," Mulan soon told the others quietly. "We've got company."
"Hi-o, wasabi." Don soon said nervously, seeing the soldiers.
"Hello, mustard?" Raph and Mulan both deadpanned.
"Okay, so my Japanese is a little rusty," Donny replied before trying again. "Suzuki, Kawasaki."
Raph soon moved his arms up, knocking the two soldiers out as his elbows hit them and knocked them out right behind him. "How about sayonara?" he then smirked.
"That'll work." Donny nodded.
"Ciao."
"Adios."
"See you later," Raph chuckled before looking at the warrior woman. "So how was that, Mignon?"
"All right, I'll give you that one," Mulan said to Raph. "And my name is MULAN."
"Fine. Fine." Raph muttered.
Down in the dungeon, a guard answered a knock on the door and found that Niles was behind it. "It's me again, Fatso-san," he grinned in an almost-Rumplestilskin-esque manner. "Open up!"
The guard growled under his breath and swung the door open.
"Woman!" Niles soon told the guard, speaking slowly like the guard was an idiot. "We... Want... Woman."
The guard rolled his eyes as he did what Niles wanted him to do.
"Move it, you sot!" Niles scoffed before smirking. "He's not man enough to do anything."
April just sat in her cage with nothing she could do for herself.
"There they are... The Three Stooges." Raph replied as they got ready, seeing three goons just a few feet in front of them.
"Yep. Larry, Curly, and Moe." Cherry nodded from where she was.
"April shouldn't be too far away then." Atticus said hopefully.
"What, no Shemp?" Lionel commented dryly.
"Get her down, ya fat sot!" Niles ordered, before his buddies turned to see the group behind them.
"Beat it." Raph growled.
"See ya later!" Donny called as one of them ran off in fear.
"Don't ruffle me little duck's feathers," Niles chuckled. "I want her for myself. Hurry up!"
"Well, that wasn't creepy at all." Cherry snarked as the guard moved April's box down by pulling the rope.
"Hey! Ugly!" Mo soon called out.
Niles laughed before he turned around to see that he had company.
"Made ya look." Mo smirked.
"It's wet willy time, Moe." Raph taunted Niles.
"Wet... What... Um?" Niles asked before a pair of wet fingers were stuck in his ear, making him cringe and shiver in disgust before he soon ran away.
"Heh... It sucks to suck, doesn't it?" Cherry smirked before looking over. "Hey, guys, I think I've got a surprise for you~" she then said to her new shell-backed friends.
The turtles soon looked over to see a certain human woman that they were friends with.
"Hey, what's up, April?"
"Oh, hi, April."
"Yo, April."
"Raph? Leo?" April asked softly once she saw her friends.
"Boy, some vacation!" Donny smirked a bit. "I'd fire my travel agent."
"Not me. I think it's cool." Leo replied.
"Of course you do," Cherry teased before looking at the guard. "Hey, fat boy!"
The guard glared, looking like he was about to fight her with his own staff. Mulan growled as she unsheathed her warrior sword, slashing it about before she held it close, ready to fight if she needed to as she narrowed her eyes behind her face-concealing mask. Raph swung his sais, ready to throw down, and the guard immediately pulled April from the cage, while climbing inside himself.
"Hey, don't forget to pack a lunch!" Donny called.
"As a matter of fact, pack three!" Lionel added, as the guard began lifting himself via the rope. "...Wow, he can actually lift that thing. That's impressive."
"Heh... Not bad for a big coward." Atticus chuckled.
"And now we've got more company." Mulan warned, seeing more soldiers appear who came into the scene.
The men soon yelled, looking ready to fight, as everyone else stood their ground.
"Be nice, brave Miss!" A voice called out.
April soon looked around while most of the group and the Ninja Turtles began to fight the incoming soldiers.
"Miss, cut me loose," A man begged from inside his own cage. "They'll hang me here."
April looked over to him and rushed over to help out. Kintarō soon rolled into the scene and stood up, looking around.
"All right, you guys," Atticus smirked. "Get ready for the worst throwdown of your life with the strongest boy back home!"
"Well, now let's not hog all the fun," Lionel informed him. "Besides, I wanna throw down too!"
"Well, come on then!" Atticus replied.
"Teamwork!" Atticus and Lionel called out together before charging at the soldiers.
The Ninja Turtles then fought back with their respective weapons as Mulan used her sword, being very swift, diligent, and quick in her movement.
"This is for Kenshin!" Kintarō glared before tackling a group of soldiers and kicked them against the wall, almost like a wild animal.
"Whoa." Atticus smiled, very impressed with Kintarō.
"I know I'm gonna regret this." April groaned as she helped the victim trapped in his cage, lowering his rope for him during the fight.
"Kick one, hurl two!" Lionel called as he did just that to three of the thugs guarding the dungeon.
"Hey, come an' get me!" Donny called, as he lured a guard underneath a low-hanging wooden board, which he knocked his head on. "Watch yer head... Or don't!"
Cherry looked around, glaring at any soldiers that would come her way. A soldier soon ran right behind her, looking like he wanted to strangle her.
"Ah, ah, ah!" Cherry tutted before kicking him away with a smirk. "You might wanna pick up your feet if you're gonna try to sneak up on me like that~"
"Nice moves, Yīngtáo." Mulan approved to the perky goth.
"It's all thanks to Batman." Cherry nodded to the woman warrior.
"You have very impressive strength." Kintarō marveled at Atticus.
"It was nothing, really." Atticus smiled bashfully and thankfully.
"Well, come on! Hurry!" April called out to the man she freed from his own cage.
"Hey, think these guys have ever seen a pinball machine before?" asked Donny while fighting the thugs.
"Pinball? These guys probably don't even know pachinko yet!" Lionel replied as he spin-kicked a few more thugs away. "Ding! Tilt!"
One of the soldiers soon screamed and backed away, running away.
"Yeah, you better run!" Cherry taunted and laughed.
The fighters just kept on coming through.
"You're ruthless, I'll give you that, but even you have to get tired of losing all the time." Mulan taunted the other Japanese soldiers.
"Ooh, burn!" Mo chuckled.
"Fight's over. We're closed." Kintarō added as he shut the door on the incoming soldiers.
April and her new friend soon grunted as they opened up a secret door to escape through.
Cherry soon looked over. "Hey, guys! I think April found a way out." she then told the Turtles as they leaned against the door.
The person April was with jumped down the passageway.
"I guess this is before chivalry was invented...!" April remarked, mildly peeved.
Kintarō grunted as he helped the Turtles keep the door closed with all of his brute and animal-like strength.
"Should we go with her?" Atticus wondered.
"Well, I dunno about you," Cherry replied before hopping down after April. "But I'm going with her!"
"Go! We're right behind ya!" Raph called out to the others.
"Oh, yuck!" April complained as she pinched her nose from the smell before jumping in, then slid down the floor through the passageway and soon splatted and landed.
"...Is that a sewer?" Atticus asked.
"I guess it is," Mo replied. "Well, we better go in after 'em."
"Hi-ho, down we go!" Lionel declared as he formed a shield ball around himself and went down the passageway.
The others then came down after April while they still had the chance, though their new surroundings were a bit disgusting, but it was better than being surrounded by samurais and soldiers.
They soon ended up in the mud before the Ninja Turtles soon fell in after them and soon found themselves in the outside world.
"Ugh... I'm gonna need a bath after this adventure." Cherry complained as she sat up as they were covered in mud.
"Yuck! Boy, do I hate spinach." Leo added as he plucked something out of his teeth.
"Why? It's so good for you and it keeps you strong like Popeye the Sailor." Atticus smiled innocently.
"And it makes me wanna barf." Cherry retorted as she agreed with Leo strongly.
Leo soon looked around. "...Raph?" he then asked.
"Ugh... Well... I'm in there..." Raph coughed and groaned. "Donny?"
"Yeah?" Donny replied as he was soon shown next. "Mud wrestling is definitely a spectator sport. Gross," he then glanced at the inside of his helmet in disgust. "Grosser."
"Well, this is good," Cherry said. "At least we're all together."
"All but one," said Lionel. "We still haven't found Mike."
"Yeah... That's a bummer..." Cherry had to admit.
"I'm sure we can find him around here somewhere," Atticus nodded. "Let's take a look around."
"All right. I'm coming. On my way over," Donny called out as he slipped and stumbled a bit. "A little mud, no problem. Help me. Wait, wait."
Mulan soon came over to help both Donny and April, trying to keep steady while in the mud.
"This was the worst rescue I have ever had." April complained.
"Help! I'm a turtle, and I can't get up!" Donny cried out as he was on his back which was hazardous for turtles, mutant ninja or not.
April soon helped Donny up as Mulan helped them, staying silent for a brief moment.
"Thanks." Donny said in relief.
"We'd better get out of here." April suggested.
"Look on the bright side, April," Donny remarked. "We could've fallen into a big, greasy, smelly pile of-"
"Don't even say it, Don!" April interrupted.
"Because I think we know what word you were about to say." Atticus added.
Mulan groaned as she removed her mask, revealing her face.
"Whoa... You...?" April blinked as she noticed Mulan's face. "You're a woman?"
"Shh~... Don't blow my cover," Mulan shushed with a small smirk. "But yes, I am. I was sent from China by my associate, Sir Lancelot."
"Sir Lancelot?" Cherry blinked. "...Isn't that The Middle Ages?"
"Lots of people know everyone in The Enchanted Forest," Mulan replied. "It's even how I was able to help and assist Princess Aurora before helping Prince Phillip get to her..." she then looked away softly and a bit sadly as she mentioned "Princess Aurora".
"That has to be confusing for a while." Cherry remarked.
"I do what I can." Mulan shrugged, trying to ignore her sadness so that they could keep going.
"So where do we go from here?" Cherry asked Mulan.
"Let's just get out of the mud and find something hopefully better," Mulan advised. "Perhaps a village with some food and shelter."
"That sounds like a plan to me." replied Lionel.
"Yup," Atticus nodded. "Let's get while the getting is good."
"Saddle up then!" Mulan nodded to the others.
"Bossy, much?" Raph muttered.
Mulan flashed him a stern look. Raph gasped and grinned nervously at her.
"Don't make me do what I did to Shan Yu to you," Mulan warned. "Trust me, you don't wanna know."
And so, the group went back to traveling through the Japanese wilderness before they would stop and hopefully find a place to rest before going any further during their journey/adventure.
Meanwhile, we are shown a rather peaceful-looking village where kids were at play and having fun until some came across one shelter that held a certain lost turtle inside of it.
"Oh, that hurts... What a head popper! Boy! Earth to me," Mikey groaned as he soon woke up in a new location before standing up and popping his bones a bit. "God, my neck hurts. My spots hurt. Even my bandanna hurts."
The kids outside the hut soon ran away, but one stayed behind, still staring at the orange-clad turtle.
"Hey, little one," Mikey smiled before that boy soon ran away and he shrugged before going to look around to see where exactly he was. "Hey, where am I?"
The others were soon calling out, a bit further away from the village, still looking for Michelangelo as they yelled out his name, not knowing where he was just yet. Donny and Leo turned to see April shortening her skirt by ripping up parts of it so her legs could breathe.
"Yow... A leg-o-rama." commented Leo.
"Hey, I'm allowed," April justified. "I'm on vacation!"
"Ab-so-lutely!" Donny and Leo said. "'SCHWING!'"
"Boys..." Cherry and Mo rolled their eyes.
"I know a few guy friends who were like that sometimes when I was still in China," Mulan remarked. "They take their work seriously, but they like to fool around sometimes too."
"I guess that's just how most guys are," Cherry shrugged. "You okay, April?"
"Yeah, I'm fine..." April just rolled her eyes.
Raph soon stepped down from the hill he was standing on.
"Any sign of your brother?!" Atticus called out.
"Afraid not!" Raph replied before looking around and gesturing all around him. "Hey, Leo. Look at this water." he then told his brother.
Leo took a look before shrugging as Donny skipped a stone across the water. "I don't see anything."
"Exactly! No tires, no beer cans, no dead fish, just water, clean, clear, beautiful water," Raph explained as Mo soon smiled and nodded in approval as she loved it too without harm being done to the environment. "Nature! I love it! Makes me wanna... I dunno,
migrate or somethin'." he then shrugged.
"Uh, I don't think turtles are migrating animals." Atticus remarked.
"I think Raph has a point though," Cherry said. "This is the most vacation we've had ever since we tried to get away to that Storybrooke place until we were pulled away suddenly."
"Yeah," Lionel gave a nod. "It's honestly the most time that we've actually gotten to just kick back and... Chill out on this vacation."
"This is hardly the time for a vacation." Mulan reminded them.
"Just let us have this while we can," Cherry said to her. "My group and I were supposed to be on vacation before we had to suddenly leave and hang out with the Turtles."
"Don't get used to it though," Mulan warned before she looked around and put her hand to her ear. "Uh-oh."
The group let out small groans in response.
"Why uh-oh?" Mo asked the warrior woman. "What's wrong?"
"Someone's coming," Mulan advised before tackling April suddenly. "Get down!"
April yelped, but luckily, she landed on the ground with Mulan as an arrow was suddenly shot at the tree she was just standing by moments before.
"Okay, I see what you mean," Cherry replied to Mulan. "Looks like we have to fight some enemy scum for a minute."
"Come on, then; sooner we stop these guys, sooner we can get back to actually kicking back." stated Mo as she got herself ready.
"Let's go then!" Atticus said as he stomped the ground.
The Turtles soon donned their respective weapons while Mulan decided to fight with her sword for protection and fighting, not even bothering to cover her face this time.
"You're a woman..." The soldier in front of Mulan gasped.
"Guess you can't hit me then~" Mulan smirked before suddenly striking the soldier across the face and kicked him against a tree.
"You're lucky I won't do anything drastic!" Cherry glared before grabbing two soldiers and flung them right in the water in a judo throw sorta way. "I know Mortal Kombat! Enjoy your swim, fellas~"
April screamed as a man charged right for her with a spear until a certain man soon sprung out and grabbed the other man's spear, sending him flying while crashing and splashing into the water as well.
"Missed me?" The man smirked as he looked down at April.
Two more men charged at April, before the previous man was assaulted by them both.
"You guys know baseball here?" Don asked as he smacked the guards with his staff. "Strike 1! Strike 2! You're outta there! I love that game!"
"Can't argue with that!" Mo laughed in agreement as Atticus and Shintō brawled the guards in the background together, seeming to be nearly equal in strength, though Atticus had god-like strength while Shintō had an animal-like strength.
April soon began to help out by picking up one guard and punching him right in the face.
"Come on, Jack! It's Hammer Time!" Donny called before he soon hit more of the guards.
Leo soon clashed swords with one guard before he took both swords away from the guard before stopping. "Here, hold these." he then said.
The guard soon took both swords.
"Thanks!" Leo then said before punching him in the face suddenly.
One guard was chasing Cherry as she ran away from him, then ran the other way as another guard came from the other side. The two guards soon ran into each other before looking around, confused as Cherry suddenly disappeared. Cherry soon ended up in a tree above the guards, smirking a bit, then jumped down, tackling them and punching them on the ground.
"Aw, yeah!" Lionel cheered. "Way to go, Cherry! YEE-HA!"
"I'm not as dumb as they look." Cherry smirked.
"Omigosh, you totally should've said that to Cassandra, Tiffany, and Margo in school." Mo gushed and laughed.
"Hm... Not a bad idea," Cherry chuckled. "I guess that's what we would call a third-degree burn."
"No kidding! It's unexpected and it's clever!" Lionel stated as he leapfrogged over an attacker and flung him back into his pals, knocking them all over like bowling pins.
"You picked with the wrong squad to mess with, as well as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!" Atticus glared as he uppercut one foe who came in his way.
"Yeah! You're gonna be sorry you ever found us!" Mo added.
Patch soon growled and barked before headbutting a couple of attackers in the chest, then let out a Thunderbolt-styled bark as a sign of his victory.
"You guys would've been great additions in the war in my battle against the human demon who is Shan Yu." Mulan said, thankful to have the Alpha Brigade's assistance.
"No problem! Kicking scuzzbuckets is what we do best!" Mo declared confidently.
Eventually, the fighting ended as the villagers looked over, coming to see who they were dealing with. April was even grabbed before the fighting suddenly stopped as a woman from the village stepped over to see the commotion.
"Hey, look!" Leo called out as he and Donny took off their helmets to calm down the attacking villagers. "Hey, we're friends. We're here to find our brother, that's all." he then explained.
The woman in the crowd soon came towards Raph and removed his helmet, looking him in the eyes.
"Hey, I don't kiss on the first date, lady." Raph scoffed at her.
"Raph, give it a rest, will ya?" Leo complained.
"Don't be afraid," Atticus said. "We're helping the Turtles find their missing brother."
The woman looked up and down at Raph before something hit her mentally. "You are just like the other one." she then realized.
"Say what?" Leo blinked.
"The other one?" Mo asked. "You mean Mikey?"
Leo and Donny then suddenly began to cheer and dance together to celebrate the discovery.
"Bingo!"
"Most excellent!"
"Get down with your turtle self."
"Then we are going the right way," Mulan soon said to the others after the fighting had ended. "Maybe now we can sit and talk some things through."
"Here's hoping," Lionel agreed. "We can only fight it out like this for so long."
"I request access through." Mulan said to the woman in front of her.
"...Very well," The woman replied before nodding. "I have also seen one like your other friends there who we have taken and brought with us to be put away until further notice." she then added, pointing to Raph, Leo, and Donny, referring to the missing Ninja Turtle in the quartet.
"Thank goodness for that." Mulan approved before they both bowed to each other in greeting.
"Konichiwa and welcome to our village," The woman said to the warrior in front of her. "My name is Mitsu."
"Ni-Hao, Mitsu," Mulan responded. "I am Hua Mulan from Northern Wei, China, sent by Sir Lancelot of The Enchanted Forest."
"Please... Follow me... We'll get you and your friends settled." Mitsu then said, allowing her and the others to follow them into the village.
"So, what did you say your name was?" Cherry asked April's new friend.
"It would be great to know your name." Atticus added.
"Call me 'Whit'." The man replied.
"Whit... That's an interesting name." Cherry remarked.
"Thank you," Whit replied before looking at April as Mitsu's followers spoke in Japanese. "They say your friends are devils or demons."
"Well, they're not." Atticus simply stated.
"Hey, pal, you got a relative in Brooklyn?" Raph asked as Whit seemed familiar somehow.
"...He does seem somewhat familiar..." Cherry shrugged.
"Maybe he shares an actor with somebody," Lionel pondered. "Just a suggestion!"
"Hmm... Perhaps..." Cherry said. "Eh... We'll worry about that later."
"Agreed," Atticus nodded. "Let's focus on the task at hand."
"Is your village coming up soon, Mitsu?" Mulan asked the Japanese woman as they bonded. "My village was destroyed by Shan Yu, so I had to fight him with allies and comrades of mine to defend and protect my home... Even if it cost me my family." she then sighed softly.
"We'll be there soon, Mulan," Mitsu smiled. "It should be right over here soon, then we can all get settled."
Mulan smiled back, almost looking hopeful. Mitsu gasped as she ran from Mulan suddenly, coming closer, and cried out.
"Mitsu! What is it?" Mulan asked, concerned before joining her side, and gasped in a panic.
Everyone soon rushed to catch up with Mulan and Mitsu before seeing what they saw as the village seemed to be attacked and on fire.
"My village!" Mitsu cried out and frowned.
"Mikey!" The turtles called out in response, knowing their brother was down there.
"...I will not let another village be destroyed in vain," Mulan narrowed her eyes before she faced The Alpha Brigade. "Come. We must fight back and defend the village from those rotten invaders."
"Yeah!" The group called in response, and they all charged down to lend hands.
Down below, the village was under a world of chaos and disarray with no one there to save the day.
"Find Kenshin! Fire over their heads and burn this place to the ground!" Walker commanded as he rode on his horse as Niles and the rest of the men began to attack and destroy the village. "There's a reward for the man who brings me the scepter!"
The men yelled while attacking and running around, unaware of what was about to happen next if the group was fast enough.
The kids of the village were screaming and running away, feeling dangerously unsafe.
"Gunfire? Better cover the melon," Mikey said to himself before he put his helmet back on as he heard gunshots and screaming outside of the hut he was hidden inside of. "I gotta get outta here!"
"Burn it to the ground!" Walker called out from the outside.
Two of Niles' friends soon came to the hut, looking inside, seeing Mikey as he looked around, trying to be safe and careful.
"It's one of them honor guards," One goon smirked to the other. "There's a reward for him."
"Greetings from Her Majesty." The second goon chuckled as they opened the door.
Mikey soon faced them with a big grin on his face, revealing his form to them. "My heroes!"
The two men screamed before running away for their lives away from him.
"Wait! I'm really a beautiful princess in disguise!" Mikey called out as he ran after them before looking down to the ground, then picked up something the two men had dropped while running away. "Oh, swords. Break the spell!" he then smirked while posing with the swords. "Gimme a kiss!"
Meanwhile, Niles was in place with the rest of the group before looking over.
"A monster!" One man called to him.
"What?" Niles asked then.
"Bright green!" The man explained.
"What do you mean, a monster?" Niles then asked.
"Hey... Which way did they go?" Mikey wondered as he came looking for the two goons while swishing the swords in the air.
"Excuse me, Niles," Walker spoke up as he showed up from behind, looking annoyed at their "lazing off". "Shouldn't you be trying to scare somebody?"
"But there's a demon up the road, Captain! A wild beast with the body of a man and the head of the devil himself." Niles cried.
Suddenly, elsewhere, there was the mysterious man from the beginning of the story, looking a bit reptilian, almost like a crocodile mind you, and less human as he sat there, smirking. "Oh... My ears are burning and my cheeks are blushing~" he then giggled, sounding like a six-year-old child. "Do go on about my good looks~"
"Listen to me, you cretinous idiot, it's nothing but a Samurai wearing one of his ridiculous masks." Walker scoffed at Niles.
"But-" Niles tried to protest.
"Shut up!" Walker growled before taking off on his horse. "Get on with it!"
As Mike looked around the area, he saw Walker riding in on his horse. "Whoa, horsey!" he exclaimed, putting up his hands. "Hey, Butch! Don'cha know Westerns are dead?"
Walker didn't take his eyes off Mike. "Speaking of 'dead'..." he muttered, reaching for his pistol.
Niles' goons soon zipped down to hide during the brawl between Mikey and Walker. Suddenly, the other three Turtles and the group came up behind Niles as he readied a shotgun.
"Say, pal, whatcha doin'?" Atticus asked in a Bugs Bunny fashion.
"Oh, I'm gonna shoot that masked guy and save my Captain," Niles replied. "I only got one shot."
"All right, just checkin'." Atticus smirked before winking at the other three Turtles who winked back and chuckled.
"Hi, there." Leo smirked as Niles soon looked to see the Turtles and The Alpha Brigade group.
"You see, when I said westerns were dead what I meant was, uh, well, they're not dead," Mikey stammered nervously to Walker, not aware of what was going to happen next. "'Cuz I forgot about Clint. You look a lot like Clint, yes, you do."
"Get 'em, guys." Atticus told the Turtles so that Niles wouldn't be able to shoot Mikey.
The Turtles then decided to wet willy Niles, making him flinch and yelp, moving his shotgun up as he pulled the trigger and shot Walker's hat clean off his head, startling his horse from the gunshot too, and of course, luckily missing Mikey.
"Sorry, Captain!" Niles called nervously and sheepishly.
"Dudes!" Mikey beamed once he saw his brothers and new friends. "Most excellent timing!"
"Better run for the hills, dearies," Rumple smirked from a treetop as he saw people coming. "Otherwise you might be going for a ride, and I don't mean a joy ride~"
There soon came other people, swarming to where the Turtles, Cherry and her group of friends, currently were.
"...Don't I know you?" Cherry asked, looking at the strange man. "...You seem... Familiar..."
"Smart girl..." Rumple smirked before he bowed. "Allow me to introduce myself... Rumplestiltskin~"
"...You're Rumplestiltskin?" Cherry asked. "I'd expect someone-"
"More handsome?" Rumple asked.
"Uh... No..." Cherry blinked.
"Scarier? More threatening? MORE NIGHTMARE-INDUCING?!" Rumple grinned as he got in her face, showing his rather large, reptilian eyes that indeed resembled crocodile eyes.
"...Shorter?" Cherry shrugged bashfully.
Rumple then looked a bit deadpan before suddenly disappearing.
"Wait! Where are you going?!" Cherry asked. "Ugh..."
Luckily, the swarming people were April, Whit, Mitsu, Mulan, and the other villagers.
"Take back your home!" Mulan called to the people. "Earn back what's yours! Show them what you're fighting for!"
"Yeah! And don't take crap from anybody!" Lionel added. "Gotta love a revolution!"
"I know I do." Mulan nodded as she agreed with Lionel.
When no one seemed to be looking, Whit hid away as Walker rode his horse around.
Mulan held her sword close, narrowing her eyes as Walker and his horse were soon blocked by the villagers with their own weapons, along with Mikey who would help them fight.
"Hold it right there, Zorro dude!" Mikey called out as he held his two new swords in the air.
"Please... Zorro was a dragon," Mulan smirked. "This man has nothing on Zorro."
Walker looked around before he saw a way out and soon rode his horse to escape from the angry villagers.
"He's getting away!" Atticus warned.
Walker kept riding off before escaping from the villager, fleeing with his horse.
"Haha! Wimp!" Mikey laughed at Walker's escape attempt.
"Captain, don't leave me here!" Niles called out, running after Walker before he soon got stuck in the bamboo wall, groaning a bit. "Wait for-"
"Man... What a couple of chickens~..." Cherry smirked before clapping her hands and hopping around in a circle, calling out in a sound that sounded nothing like a chicken. (Note from PerkyGoth14: see Arrested Development for more details)
"Help! Grandfather, help!" A young voice called out from far away.
"Uh-oh... That doesn't sound very good." Patch said nervously.
An old man ran over to Mitsu and pointed in the direction of a burning building as children ran. "Yoshi! Yoshi!" he exclaimed.
"That must be one of the kids who's stuck in that burning building!" Mo realized.
"Sounds like a superhero cliché." Cherry rolled her eyes slightly.
The young boy coughed as he was shown in a window and there were also flames.
"Stay right here!" Mikey told the old man before dashing off.
"Oh, my gosh!" Patch gasped. "That poor kid!"
Atticus looked around and looked like he was about to help out in the only way he knew how.
"Whoa. Hold it," Cherry told Atticus. "I don't think you should go up there."
"You do realize I'm like Superman, right?" Atticus reminded.
"Yes, yes, we know, but I think Michelangelo's got it covered." Cherry told him before pointing for him to see.
Atticus then looked over as Mikey was in fact going that way to help and save the day.
"Besides, you don't have to always swoop in and save the day. This isn't your moment, it's Mikey's." Lionel added as the group watched Mikey in action.
"I don't think I'm cut out for this hero stuff." Mikey said as he got himself ready while the crowd surrounded him in a panic.
"Michelangelo!" April cried out, concerned for him.
"Drink some water," Mikey said before he took a deep breath, wearing a new mask, then soon entered the burning building with as much bravery as he could muster. "Well, here I go!"
In a matter of minutes, Mikey burst out of the burning building with the unconscious Yoshi in his arms.
"See? He got it!" Lionel finished.
"Oh... Is that boy...?" Patch began to ask in concern.
"He's fine," Mo replied softly. "Probably just having a little bit of trouble breathing, but he's alive... I think." she then added.
"YOU THINK?!" Cherry asked.
"Don't shout." Mo replied.
"Kurt Russell, eat your heart out," Mikey coughed as he stepped out of the burning building before handing Yoshi over to Mitsu for now. "I think he's going to be okay."
"I really hope so." Patch added.
Mitsu then carefully set Yoshi down on the ground as she and the boy's grandfather surrounded him as his eyes were closed and he wasn't responding right away.
"Are you all right?" April asked Mikey then.
"Yeah." Mikey nodded while coughing due to the smoke.
"You scared me half to death." April then scolded.
"Scared me half to death." Mikey retorted as he approached his brothers who looked very happy to see him.
"I can't believe you did that!" Raph beamed.
"You're a hero!" Leo smiled.
Mulan soon checked Yoshi with a gasp.
"...Mulan, what is it?" Cherry asked in concern.
"He has no life in him!" Mulan informed with deep regret in her voice.
"What's going on?" Patch asked.
"Give him to me," Leo said as he came to take Yoshi away from Mitsu. "Let me take him, please. Keep everyone back." he then instructed.
The other turtles then helped Leo keep the crowd away as Yoshi was being cradled a little.
"What're they gonna do?" Atticus wondered.
"Maybe the power of love can save Yoshi," Cherry guessed with a small shrug. "I'm just glad that crocodile man's gone."
"What he needs is the power of CPR," Lionel stated as Leo began to provide CPR. "Kid's got smoke in his lungs!"
The blue-masked turtle began to press down on Yoshi's stomach to let the air out.
"Please, you've got to let him try." April told the crowd.
"No! He is casting an evil spell!" replied one person.
"Kappa! Kappa!" The people exclaimed.
"Calm down! He's not a kappa!" Shintō told the villagers. "We can trust him and his brothers and friends!"
"What he said!" Atticus added. "We'll never hurt any of you as long as you trust us!"
"Kappa! Kappa!" The people continued.
"Oh... Hurry up, Leonardo." Mulan said, feeling on edge, hoping that the people wouldn't form an aggressive mob mentality.
Leo soon continued as April restrained Mistu before he pumped against young Yoshi's chest, counting to himself. Yoshi soon grunted before coughing and slowly opening his eyes, showing more signs of life.
"He did it." Raph whispered to himself.
"All right!" Mikey beamed at his brother.
"You're going to be okay, Yoshi," Leo smiled warmly as he carried Yoshi before holding him back over to Mitsu. "Here you go."
"Way to go, Leo! You did it!" Atticus and Patch beamed together.
"Outstanding, dude!" Mikey added.
"Thanks." Leo smiled and nodded back at his brothers.
"I just hope these village people won't be afraid of us anymore." Raph soon said to Donny with a small shrug.
"Now do you see?" Mulan told Mitsu. "They're not going to hurt you, Yoshi, or anybody else."
"So I see." Mitsu nodded.
