Dizzy sighed as she sat underneath a tree, looking in her fashion notebook. She really was a child prodigy when it came to designs and smiled. Evie was so lucky to be able to work for a woman like Edna Mode and Dizzy wished that she could too, but then again, she was only 10, so Edna wouldn't probably be interested in someone like her like she was with Evie who was a teenager. She flipped through the pages as she looked a bit distant, like her soul was taken to another world as she watched her passion up close. Eventually, Mal was walking up to the girl and cleared her throat a couple of times, though Dizzy didn't seem to notice her. She then shrugged and looked over as Evie was hiding in the bushes.

"Tap her." Evie whispered, though a bit loud so that Mal could hear her.

Mal looked over her shoulder before she looked back at Dizzy and tapped the younger girl in the head.

"Ah!" Dizzy yelped as that startled her and she sat up. "Oh... Mal... Hello, there." she then said sheepishly to the dark-haired girl.

"Hey, Dizzy," Mal smiled. "What's up?"

"Oh, uh, nothing's not much with me," Dizzy shrugged. "Just trying to enjoy the last day of school."

"Trying?" Mal asked with a small smirk. "I didn't think the last day of school before summer vacation would be so hard."

"Oh, well, I guess I have a lot on my mind," Dizzy replied. "I'm not sure if I can tell you or not."

"Well, you can trust me with a secret," Mal suggested. "I've gotten a lot better than I once was once upon a time ago... But you know who's really good with secrets? Henry."

"Henry?" Dizzy repeated.

"Yeah, but speaking of which, he wants to meet you in the cafeteria for something," Mal replied. "If I were you, I'd go and meet him. Right now."

"In the cafeteria? What for?" Dizzy wondered.

"I dunno, I promised to keep it secret and I wouldn't tell," Mal defended with a small smirk. "See what I mean about being good at keeping secrets?"

Dizzy chuckled a little before smiling. "Yes, I suppose you make a good point," she had to admit. "Well, I guess I better go and see what Henry wants. Maybe Evie has a fashion emergency."

"I dunno, but if I were you, I'd go right now." Mal shrugged innocently.

"Okay. Thanks, Mal." Dizzy nodded as she stood up, hugging her fashion notebook, then dashed off to go and meet her friend.

"Good luck, kid," Mal smirked and waved off Dizzy. "You'll definitely need it."

MEANWHILE AT THAT VERY MOMENT...

"Okay, Henry. Get his attention. And remember, keep it simple." Evie told her younger brother in the hallway.

"You got it, Evie." Henry nodded as he soon walked over to the Cooking Classroom where the class was hosted by a man who called himself Chef Bouche.

Danny, Wendy, and Felix were in the cooking classroom, getting more baked goods ready for the banquet/barbecue that was for after school in a few hours.

"I really appreciate your family letting me stay over for the summer." Felix said to Wendy.

"I'm glad for it too as long as you visit my bedroom with the door open," Wendy replied. "My parents heavily insist on that."

"I understand," Felix agreed before looking over. "Danny, is the next batch ready?"

"Almost!" Danny replied as he checked the oven.

"All right, but remember to be careful." Wendy reminded.

"Yes, Wendy." Danny nodded.

Wendy and Felix smiled as they went to the other side of the room. Henry looked into the room and soon knocked on the door lightly, coming on over.

"Huh?" Danny blinked before looking over. "Oh. Hey, Henry. What's up?"

"Oh, nothing much, nothing much," Henry said as he stepped into the classroom. "Must feel pretty cool to be working with your sister to help make food for tonight's Last Day of School celebration."

"Oh, yeah, it's pretty nice," Danny nodded as he came to see Henry up close. "I love helping her out. It's especially cool since Ms. Sabine's gonna be here later with her famous beignets."

"By the way, speaking of helping..." Henry then said suddenly.

Danny tilted his head. "Yeah?" he then asked.

"I need you to meet me in the cafeteria," Henry replied. "It's an emergency."

"An emergency? What is it?" Danny asked.

"It's something very important, just trust me," Henry said to him. "Can I spare you for a few minutes?"

"Hmm... I don't know... Let me check first." Danny said as he walked away.

Henry nodded before he looked out the door. Evie then gestured for him to come out so that Danny would end up coming to the cafeteria anyway.

"Wendy? Felix?" Danny spoke up as he came to see his older sister and new friend.

"Yes, Danny?" Wendy smiled. "Did someone come by to buy some muffins?"

"No, actually, I need to meet Henry in the cafeteria for something." Danny explained.

"Oh? What does he want?" Felix asked curiously.

"He didn't say," Danny shrugged. "Hopefully this shouldn't take long."

"Well... All right, this sounds important," Wendy said with a small smile. "You can go ahead, Danny. We'll take care of everything here. You should take a break anyway."

"Yes, you've been working so hard with us." Felix added in agreement.

"Well... Okay," Danny smiled back to his sister and new friend. "I promise that I'll come right back when I'm done."

"Take your time. You boys go have fun." Wendy replied before nodding.

"All right, see ya later," Danny said as he went to go meet back with his friend. "All right, Henry. Let's go to the-" he then paused before looking around in confusion. "Henry? Why didn't he wait for me?" he then wondered before shrugging. "I guess he was in a hurry for his cafeteria emergency," he then looked over as the oven timer suddenly went off. "Uh..."

"We'll get that for you, Danny! You just go on ahead and have fun!" Wendy called out.

"Okay, Wendy! See ya!" Danny called back as he went to head down to the cafeteria to go and meet up with Henry.

Wendy and Felix smiled as they went back to work while Danny would go off to the cafeteria.

And so, it was set. Danny and Dizzy were both on their way to the cafeteria, unaware of what Mal, Evie, and Henry were actually up to. Both were looking around for who they were invited to meet up with as they came to the doors. The two soon bumped into each other from behind their backs and soon flinched a bit before looking and turning around to see each other.

"...Hey." Danny smiled softly at Dizzy.

"...Hey yourself." Dizzy smiled back.

The two just looked at each other.

"I'm supposed to meet Henry here, but I guess you will have to-" Danny started to say.

"I have to go to the bathroom!" Dizzy suddenly blurted out before she ran away from him.

Mal, Evie, and Henry saw that and couldn't help but wince as that seemed unfortunate for poor Dizzy.

"Oh. Okay? Aww..." Danny frowned as Dizzy suddenly took off like that.

"Oh, Dizzy..." Evie frowned as Dizzy ran away as far away as she could.

"I can't believe she just ran away like that!" Mal complained and crossed her arms. "This is why I barely help people I don't even know."

"Mal..." Henry sighed and gave her a look.

"What? It's true," Mal defended. "She's just being so difficult and impossible."

"Oh, Mal... It's not Dizzy's fault," Evie replied softly. "I don't think we did anything wrong. In fact, I think that I should go and talk to her."

Mal simply blinked.

"Why don't you go and hang out with Harry?" Evie suggested. "Maybe he can help keep an eye out for Uma with you?"

"Oh... Getting rid of me, huh?" Mal smirked. "You're lucky I love you like a sister, Evelyn Mills."

Evie rolled her eyes and shook her head with a small smirk back. "Henry, you go off too," she then added to her little brother. "I think this is something Cool Big Sis Evie can take care of."

"Well... You do seem to be like a cool big sister around Dizzy too," Henry had to admit before nodding. "All right. We'll see ya later, Evie."

"See you later, guys." Evie smiled warmly.

Mal and Henry then decided to take their leave. Evie nodded at them and she soon went to go and find Dizzy, wondering where to look. Though luckily for her, she wouldn't have to look far as she heard a crying sound coming from the girls' bathroom and soon came over there. Dizzy was shown to be crying against one of the sinks as she buried her face in her arms as she looked and felt quite miserable as she chickened out like that.

"Dizzy?" Evie lightly called as she came into the bathroom then.

Dizzy lifted her head before looking over her shoulder. "What are you doing here?" she then pouted as she took off her glasses, though she could tell that she was in the company of Evie, even if all she saw were colorful blotches.

Evie took a deep breath before explaining herself lightly. "I saw you meeting up with Danny Darling at the cafeteria." she then informed calmly.

"Oh... He must think I'm... Oh!" Dizzy pouted firmly and groaned at her own embarrassing situation that she got herself into.

"Oh, Dizzy, you couldn't help that. It was an accident and you weren't sure what to do," Evie coaxed softly. "It was an accident and you had no experience in what to do next. Don't give up so fast."

"What would you know?" Dizzy firmly pouted. "You're beautiful. It's always been easy for you."

"Look Dizzy, you just need a little help. That's all." Evie comforted as she came closer to the younger girl and stood beside her from the sink and mirror in front of her.

"If I weren't so clumsy, dorky, and plain..." Dizzy pouted and wiped a tear from her eye.

"Why don't we hang out a little today?" Evie suggested warmly as she gently and carefully took Dizzy's hands. "We'll clean you up and then we'll get you two together."

"But Mother and Ivy forbid it!" Dizzy pouted as she turned away from the girl she wished was her older sister instead of the one nature forced upon her. "He's beneath me."

"Well, I think she's wrong. Danny and his sister Wendy are terrific," Evie defended as she put her arm around Dizzy with a small smile. "And he cooks too! Come on, I'll teach you some tips I learned from Edna Mode herself. You'd be a great little helper to her too."

"Oh, that would be a dream come true for me," Dizzy sighed with a hopeful smile. "Working beside Edna Mode just like you. I hear she gets to have ice cream whatever she wants! ...What does ice cream taste like?" she then wondered.

"We'll worry about that later," Evie smiled. "Come on, let's get you cleaned up and I'll help you. Who cares what 'Poison Ivy' thinks anyway?"

"Thanks, Evie," Dizzy said softly. "I wish you could be my big sister instead of Ivy."

"Believe me, Dizzy, sometimes I wish the same thing," Evie replied comfortingly. "We can be sisters in school at least."

Dizzy smiled before sighing lightly as they wouldn't have a lot of time for that as it was almost the end of the year after all.

Eventually, Evie took care of Dizzy and wiped away her tears and helped make her feel better. She even decided to brush Dizzy's hair a little, doing what she could as they wouldn't have time or tools for a shower or getting her hair washed and nails done.

"There. Good as new." Evie smiled softly.

"Don't stop now!" Dizzy cried out. "Mother says that looks count for everything!"

"I'm afraid I don't have time to give you a full spa treatment like you did for Mal for the last school dance," Evie said through chuckles. "I mean, of course you wanna look your best, but that's not the most important thing-"

"Are you saying I need a whole new look?" Dizzy tried to guess.

"I think you should just be yourself," Evie replied. "Being yourself is the best thing anyone can expect or ask from you."

Dizzy began to look a little thoughtful.

"Not too much perfume, wear what works for you, I'm sure that you can find a nice dress to wear tonight and there's also a tip my mother tells me about Doug that I'm sure you can follow." Evie then advised.

Dizzy then looked curious of what Evie had to say next.

"'You'll catch more flies with honey than with vinegar'." Evie quoted.

"Gross..." Dizzy pouted and wrinkled her nose. "I don't wanna catch flies. I'm not a frog."

"I mean the best way to impress Danny is just to be nice to him." Evie explained with a light giggle as she couldn't help but find Dizzy's reaction cute.

"How do I do that?" Dizzy asked.

"You could start by giving me your charming and cute smile and repeat it to him." Evie suggested.

"...Are you sure I don't need a bigger necklace?" Dizzy asked.

"Come on..." Evie smiled as she put her hands on Dizzy's shoulders. "You never needed fancy jewelry just to smile at me whenever I come to visit or when I recommended Mal to come see you to get your hair done for the dance."

"...I guess you're right..." Dizzy admitted before she looked down at her feet, then looked back up as she flashed a small smile at Evie.

"There you go!" Evie smiled back. "He'll never be able to resist."

"You think so?" Dizzy asked while still smiling before suddenly panicking. "But what if Mother catches me tonight? She doesn't want me to have anything to do with 'common folk' like the Darlings and to never speak to Danny ever again."

"Maybe it's time to stop following someone else's orders and start following your heart." Evie advised warmly.

Dizzy looked bashful before looking up at Evie again.

"Just trust me," Evie smiled softly. "It's going to be great tonight."

Dizzy looked thoughtful before smiling back as she took Evie's hands then. "I can hardly wait." she then said out of anticipation.

Evie nodded as she walked Dizzy out of the bathroom.

AND SO...

"FIVE! FOUR! THREE! TWO! ONE!" The students counted down together as the clock came to the final seconds of the school year.

Once the clock struck 3:00, the final bell rang, and soon, everyone erupted into cheers as they were now officially on summer break.

"Have a nice summer, class. Make sure you remember to clean out your lockers before you leave the school and we'll see you tonight at the barbecue banquet." Victoria droned to her students, sounding indifferent.

"Finally, we're free from the witch." Tilly muttered.

"At least until September." Lonnie reminded Tilly.

"Yeah, yeah..." Tilly rolled her eyes. "Wake me up when September ends."

"Right behind ya." Mal chuckled.

The students soon ran all around the hallways, laughing and cheering as they were finally officially on summer vacation. Dizzy did her best to keep her big secret to herself until a couple of hours from now as everyone began to leave the school to get ready for their upcoming summer vacation plans, not to mention what was planned for The Annual Summer School Games in Emerald Acres.

"Well, that should settle things down for a while," Headmistress Fairgood said as she looked out the windows as she looked at a certain student's file. "Now I just wonder how to break the news."

"Headmistress! Argh!" A voice called out.

Headmistress Fairgood turned her head before putting her hand to her heart with wide eyes in fear and alarm. The drama teacher, Mr. Wiggins had come in, and seemed to have an arrow through his head. Had Merida and Robin's arrow match gone too far?

"I... I..." Wiggins stammered nervously before he removed the arrow to show that it was just a joke arrow through the head before smiling. "Made it myself from the Art Classroom. Do you think the children would like it?" he then asked hopefully.

"David Wiggins, we've Bibbidy Bobbity warned you to stop doing that!" Headmistress Fairgood groaned and face-palmed.

"Sorry~" Wiggins grinned nervously. "Say, whose file is that?"

"Audrey Thornley," Headmistress Fairgood explained with a sharp sigh. "I have some news to share with her, but it seems I've run out of time in the school year to tell her, especially with her behavior that has changed gravely since Malissa Ignus enrolled into this school."

"Well, perhaps you should tell her tonight before she has to go anywhere," Wiggins suggested. "Better late than never, though... You're pretty strict when it comes to curfews and deadlines."

"Yes... You're right... I should tell her by the big night then," Headmistress Fairgood nodded. "It won't be easy, but it's now or never."

Wiggins nodded along with her before he played with his fake arrow a bit.

"Now cut that out!" Headmistress Fairgood firmly pouted and swiped the arrow away. "Remind me again who the students are in this school and who are my faculty."

"Sorry again~" Wiggins grinned bashfully.

Headmistress Fairgood groaned and rolled her eyes a bit. "I need this summer vacation." She then said before she decided to give herself some aspirin before she would leave her office today.

Everyone was soon home and getting ready. The boys wore their best clothes and the girls wore their best dresses for the banquet barbecue that would be going on back at the school to commemorate the end of the year.

Mal was taking a look around her surroundings, wearing a purple gown as she just wanted to make sure she, Evie, and Henry would be safe for tonight. "Not a bully in sight." she then said to herself softly and hopefully as she didn't see any sign of Maddy or Uma.

"I think if Uma was up to something, it'd be done by now." Henry spoke up as he wore his best suit, approaching Mal.

"No, Henry, I know how rebel students think and I don't trust Uma as far as I can throw her. She's gonna wait until our defenses are down and then that's when she's gonna strike," Mal explained calmly to the boy. "I really wish there was a way I could track her down for you guys so that she doesn't hurt you, especially since Maddy will be on her side now."

"Well, you can't be everywhere at once," Henry replied. "Besides, Evie and I got your back."

"Henry's right," Evie added as she came over, wearing her hair down and a stunning midnight blue dress. "Now come on, everyone's waiting for us." she then added.

There was the sound of a horn honking. The kids looked over as Regina was in her car and waved at them from outside the mansion. Mal, Evie, and Henry smiled and soon left the mansion as they went to go and meet Regina into the car and to get going for the end of the school year tradition.

"I never went to a banquet for the end of the school year before." Mal commented.

"First time for everything, my dear." Regina smiled warmly.

"Where's Robin?" Evie asked.

"Apparently he's still at the school," Regina replied. "That Ms. Merida at your school really has fierce competition in her blood, doesn't she?"

"Mom, you have no idea," Henry remarked. "She's still a bit of a sore loser from Sherwood winning the last All-School Archery Tournament and even demanded that they got at each other until she would win."

Regina sighed and shook her head before she soon drove them away from home and over to the school.

"Oh, Dizzy. I hope you can win Danny's heart." Evie whispered to herself as she put her hand to her heart.

At the school, nearly everyone who had just left school a mere couple of hours ago were coming back all dressed nicely. Even Ben's aunt and uncle, Lacey and Cedric Gold, were coming to the event and luckily for them as well as Belle, Adam, and little Clarice, their son and big brother was shaping slowly back to his old self again even if he was still a bit brokenhearted that things couldn't work between him and Mal like he had wanted. He just hoped that the right girl would be around there somewhere for him, wherever and whoever she might have been.

"I think I'm going to look for Mr. Bedford," Regina told the kids. "Why don't you guys mingle for a little while?"

"Okay, Mom," Evie smiled before smirking a bit. "You go find your boyfriend~"

"Are you teasing me?" Regina smirked back.

"Yes. Why? Is it bothering you?" Evie giggled a little.

"Evelyn Mills, I shall get you for this someday." Regina chuckled as she walked away then.

"Get in line," Evie teased her mother. "Only if Edna doesn't call me away to a different country this summer to show her new July collection."

"Of course... Go to your special countries." A snotty voice complained.

"Audrey..." Evie and Mal groaned before looking over to see the girl as she stood by herself.

"And while you're at it, wear something special, unlike that dress of yours." Audrey smirked.

Evie simply looked down at her dress before looking back up at Audrey, seeing nothing wrong. "What's wrong with my dress?" she then asked with a firm pout.

"Oh... It's just all wrong," Audrey smirked. "If I were you though, Evie, I wouldn't wanna be seen in countries like France or China or Cincinnati without chiffon."

"...Cincinnati is not a country." Evie said a bit dryly and flatly.

"That's sad, even for you, Audrey." Mal added.

"Yeah... Since when is Cincinnati a country?" A voice asked from behind Audrey, making her look over a bit hopefully.

"It's a city, like France." A second voice added as two older girls soon came in to see Audrey.

"Oh, great... Am I seeing triple now?" Mal groaned to herself, seeing two older girls who greatly resembled Audrey herself.

"This is Ariana and Rose. They're my older sisters," Audrey explained. "Way older."

The two older girls looked offended the way that their younger sister discussed their age to Mal.

"Hi, I'm-" Mal began, at least attempting to be social.

"So don't care!" Ariana and Rose interrupted with scoffs.

"You see, Chloe-" Ariana started.

"Mal." Mal corrected.

"Whatever. I got all the brains." Ariana rolled her eyes before she continued with what she was saying.

"I got all the looks." Rose then added.

"And little Audrey got all the rest~" Ariana then concluded before she and Rose laughed meanly together and walked away.

Audrey softly looked at her older sisters before looking like she was hurt deep inside. She then caught Mal looking at her and soon glared in defense. "What?"

"Um... Nothing..." Mal said lightly as she felt the same way about being raised by a woman like her mother who treated her differently and almost the same way after Lily had died.

"Just get out of my way." Audrey huffed before storming off away from Mal.

Mal winced before narrowing her eyes, but part of her sort of felt sorry for Audrey, but she decided not to say anything about it. She then started to look around for Evie who seemed to just abandon her to be left alone with Audrey.

"Wow, Dizzy..." Danny said as he was wearing a dark blue suit and had a flower in his hand. "You really clean up nicely."

"Thanks, Danny," Dizzy smiled while blushing, wearing a blue-green dress with her hair done in her usual pigtails and wore a pair of stylish black boots. "You look really nice too. Like a teddy bear on a picnic."

"A teddy bear?" Danny smiled back sheepishly.

"Well, I think you look adorable and amazing," Dizzy giggled bashfully before snorting. "...I'm sorry, does that sound weird? That sounds weird."

"No... Not weird... It sounds like you're just being yourself," Danny said before he brushed back some of her brunette hair and put the flower in her hair with a small smile. "And that's the kind of Dizzy Belfrey I really like."

Dizzy beamed and smiled back while blushing warmly. Unknown to either though, Evie was secretly watching as she looked very hopeful for Dizzy from now on, especially from getting over her obsessive crush on Henry.

"DIZZY!" A sharp, cold voice called out. It was Victoria as she stormed over with Ivy right behind her, who looked very cocky and smug. "How dare you defy me! You are forbidden to speak to this boy!"

"Oh, look at her! It's a disaster!" Ivy complained as Evie narrowed her eyes, looking like she wanted to punch Dizzy's cruel older sister. "We'll be the laughing stock of the entire town!"

"You've embarrassed yourself quite enough with this foolishness," Victoria scolded as she took the flower and dropped it on the ground, out of her younger daughter's hair. "Dear child, you know I only have your best interests at heart. You deserve better. Come along." she then said, taking Dizzy by her arm and went to pull her away from Danny.

Evie turned around and braced herself, preparing for the worst.

"No, Mother!" Dizzy suddenly objected, narrowing her eyes at her mother and older sister before smiling at Danny. "You're wrong! He's sweet."

"She's wonderful." Danny replied as he took Dizzy's hands.

"He's amazing," Dizzy smiled at him before firmly looking at her mother as strongly as she could. "And we are going to enjoy the the rest of this banquet and our school days together, even if you make me work in Father's office this summer."

Victoria gasped in strong dismay as Evie beamed from where she hid, smiling very proudly of Dizzy for standing up for herself. Danny smiled softly as he picked the flower back up from the ground and put it back in Dizzy's hair where he thought it belonged. Dizzy beamed and she soon leaned in and gave Danny a surprise kiss on the lips, making them both blush as his eyes widened before he closed his eyes to enjoy his first kiss.

Victoria merely narrowed her eyes before she turned around to leave the scene. "Ivy, come along."

Ivy was just standing in stunned silence. It seemed to get worse the longer she watched Dizzy and Danny. She just couldn't believe that her dorky little sister had her first kiss before she did.

"IVY!" Victoria repeated sharply.

Ivy blinked before looking over and she soon followed after her mother. Danny smiled as he took Dizzy's hand and bowed to her like a royal prince and she soon smiled back and curtsied to him like a princess. They then decided to dance together as this was going to be the best summer ever for them. Evie looked very happy for Dizzy and Danny as she could tell that this was going to be the start of something new as they were breaking free into their own happiness.

"Thank you!" Dizzy beamed once she saw Evie. "I never dreamed I could be this happy. This is going to be the best summer of my life."

"You see? Dreams do come true." Evie smiled in return.
