THE TEAM UNITES! - Part 1

Gotham City Central Park, July 3rd, 2021

Adora and Catra were just relaxing and enjoying the day together, Although Admittedly Catra probably more so. She was currently laying across the bench the two were relaxing on, her head on Adora's lap, and Adora gently scratching behind her ears. She purred loudly and swayed her tail happily. "It's nice to be able to relax for once y'know?" She said with a content sigh.

"YOU need to rest? Catra, who does battle with evil gods and supervillains on a routine basis?" Adora quipped, continuing to pet her best friend.

"Try running from the Bat-Family. My god Batman is one stubborn pain in my ass." Catra deadpanned with a cat-like smirk.

"Reminds me of you." Adora replied, giving her own smug grin, which was responded to by a pawing at her face. "Knock it off kitten."

"Nuuuu I don't think I will~" Catra said, purring and getting more comfortable. "So, what's this BIG thing you said you got later today?"

"Oh that," Adora said, looking into the distance. "Apparently the Justice League is going to publicly allow me and a few other new Heroes full time access to the Hall of Justice. It's a big deal or something." she explained, shrugging. "I already visited the Watchtower and the Hall a few times with Wonder Woman, but I suppose this is to make it official."

"Lucky you. You're well on your way to becoming a big time superhero." Catra commented.

"Hey you'd make a good hero yourself Catra." Adora recommended.

Catra laughed, "Nah, no way I could be a goody two-shoes." she replied, stretching.

Adora was about to speak up again when a device on her arm beeped. "Oh, that's gonna be Diana. Time to go, Catra." She said, sitting Catra back up and magically changing to her costume. "See you around Kitten!" She said, as she flew off to meet with her mentor, leaving Catra on the bench.

Catra sighed deeply. "Just fucking kiss her you idiot, stupid cat." She deadpanned to herself, hiding a blush under her fur.

Oracle's Hideout:

"-And then Dick locks Penguin in the Elevator and asks me to cut the lights. You should have heard Cobblepot scream." Barbara laughed, sharing some baking with Emily, who also laughed at the story.

"The Penguin is scared of the dark? The PENGUIN?" Emily laughed, spinning on her chair again. "That's amazing, might wanna keep that in mind if I ever run into him."

Barbara nodded, "It works every time." She then looked up behind Emily. "Hey Bruce."

Emily jumped in surprise and turned to see Batman standing behind her. "HOW did you do that?" she yelped out in surprise.

"Today's the day, Entrapta." he stoically said, pointedly NOT answering her question.

"Uh, the day?" Emily questioned.

"The Day you meet the other young heroes, remember? The Day you get an official invitation to use the Hall of Justice." Batman replied, motioning for Emily to come with him. She waved bye to Barbara and rushed off to join him in the batwing. Her eyes lit up seeing it.

"Did you design this yourself too!?" She asked. When Batman nodded she leaped in and began examining the design.

"Don't….don't touch anything." Batman sighed as they took off.

Star City:

"Don't tell me you're not excited." Ollie asked his new protege as they finished tying up a pair of bank robbers.

"Well obviously. The Hall of Justice! I always dreamed of being allowed to visit it!" Bow replied cheerily, firing a Boxing glove Arrow without even turning around to knock out the last robber. "Plus, been looking into some of those other young heroes. They all sound really cool."

Ollie laughed. "Well, Having met Power Princess and Mermista, don't get your expectations high. Power Princess is a dork and Mermista is bored by everything." he explained to his excitable apprentice.

"Well even still, I'm starting to feel like I'm a real superhero now! Not just a sidekick." Bow replied, causing Ollie to look a bit nervous.

"Geez you sound just like Red Arrow before we split. You know you're still a sidekick right? Don't get your hopes up just yet." He tried calmly explaining.

Bow smiled widely. "Oh I know." Ollie's eyes went wide in surprise. "I'm not gonna rush things you know. I'll wait until the League says I'm ready. I trust their judgment." he explained, finishing tying up the third robber. "Now what do you say we leave these guys for the police and get going."

Ollie nodded with a smile. "After you, Apollo."

"Alright, Green Arrow." Bow said, heading off with Ollie.

Atlantis:

Kaldur'ahm and Mermista were sparring in the Atlantean area. Mermista was almost impressed with Kaldur's mastery of his Hydro weapons, but knew she had the advantage in this fight. Kaldur required his weapons to perform his Hydrokinesis, she could do it much more naturally. Using this advantage, she managed to turn his own weapons against him and knock him to the floor. "We done here?" She asked, offering to help him up.

Kaldur chuckled and took her hand, being pulled to his feet. "I admit, you had me beat. Congratulations, Meranda." he commented.

"Do I have to remind you AGAIN that Mermista is more than just a title? It's BASICALLY my name now." she replied, slightly annoyed.

"I understand that, however I do wish to be more friendly with you, so I use your given name." Kaldur explained, before Arthur entered and both bowed. "Welcome my king."

Arthur smiled. "At ease Kaldur, you've earned a break. Meranda, may I speak with you a moment. Today is the big day." he said, and Kaldur left, Zeta Tubing to meet with the Titans.

"The...Big day?" Mermista questioned.

"Remember, when you get your invitation to the Hall of Justice. When you meet the other young heroes." Arthur reminded her with a chuckle.

"Oh... Right... Yay..." was the reply.

Metropolis:

Bloom was tending to a few flowers in Metropolis's central park, humming happily as she ensured their happy healthy growth. As she worked, she noticed a shadow coming over her. "They're coming in beautifully Perfuma." A voice said. She turned around to see Metropolis's own legend, Superman, landing behind her.

"O-oh, Superman. What brings you here?" She asked, nervous to be in the presence of such a legendary hero. Superman chuckled and patted her on the shoulder, putting her a bit more at ease.

"I came to find you actually. Several younger heroes are being gathered at the Hall of Justice, and extended an official invitation to use it as they like." he explained to her. "I was hoping you would be willing to join us?"

"W-wait, you think I'm worthy of that kind of an honor?" She asked, shocked.

"I don't see why not." he replied, "You're a hero yourself. You're kind, selfless, loving. Everything that makes for a perfect hero. You might honestly be Justice League Material if you were more experienced."

Bloom was stunned. This was high praise coming from Superman himself. She honestly didn't think she was worthy of it yet. She thought hard about the decision, Superman waiting patiently for her to decide. "I'd like to meet the others." She finally agreed with a beaming smile. "It'll be nice to make some new friends." Superman nodded with a smile, and picked her up Bridal Style, before flying her towards the Hall of Justice.

Washington:

Angie and Winter were rushing as fast as they could through the city, Winter using her Ice-Slides and Angie riding alongside her. "Come on sis, we don't want to be late!" she said, checking her watch under her glove.

"I'm going as fast as I can Angie. In fact I'm the only one doing any work!" Winter groaned out. "Besides, I don't get what the big deal is."

Angie facepalmed, "The big deal sis, is that we're getting allowed entrance to the freaking HALL OF JUSTICE! That's like Step one to joining the Justice League!" She explained, irritated. "And it's MY big chance to show off how awesome I can be!"

"Fricking Show-off..." Winter deadpanned.

"Hey!" Angie yelped out, "Language missy."

Winter rolled her eyes. "Sis, you swear so much, you don't really have the high ground here." she quipped, as they neared the hall. "Besides, looks like we're gonna be here first. That's kind of what happens when you live in the same city as where you're going."

"Shut up Winter..." Angie groaned as the two arrived and waited, noticing the crowd beginning to gather. "Wonder who all's gonna show up. I haven't really been paying attention to new-" She was interrupted when Wonder Woman and Adora landed nearby, startling her.

"Oh hey there." Adora said smiling. "You must be Glimmer and Frosta. I'm Power Princess." she announced.

"The hell kinda name is that?" Glimmer deadpanned.

"This coming from Glimmer." Frosta quipped with a smirk, prompting Glimmer to gently bonk her on the head.

Following soon after was Bow and Ollie, walking over. "Hey girls. Looks like we're here early." Ollie commented, starting to talk with Diana as Bow joined the others.

"Wow, the hall of Justice! I always wanted to visit this place." Bow said with his eyes practically sparkling.

"I've been here once or twice, not much further than the Guest hall." Adora explained, before introducing herself to Bow.

"I'm Apollo. Nice to meet you all." He said, waving to Angie who was sheepishly trying to hide a blush.

Oh man, he's cute. She thought to herself, trying to compose herself before she spoke again. Then she noticed the smirk Winter was giving her and replied with a 'Don't say a damn word' glare.

The sound of an engine drew everyone's attention to the sky, where the Batwing was landing, and Batman exited alongside Emily. "Oh wow there's a LOT of people here." She said, running over to the others and looking them all over.

"Uh hi, whats your hero name?" Angie asked.

"Oh, Entrapta. Tech hero, supergenius, whatever. So I saw news footage of you, you're a new god right? PLEASE tell me you have some New God tech I can tinker with! I've been wanting to get my hands on some!"

"I….uh….that's not exactly a proper hello." Angie said with a confused look. "Besides, I can't just go giving mom's technology to just anyone. That stuff is way too powerful for this planet as is."

"Pleeeeease?" Emily begged. "I'll be super careful with it AND document all my findings!" she pulled out a recording device from her belt with a big smile under her mask.

Before Emily could keep hounding Angie for the tech, Mermista and Aquaman walked over. Mermista was barely even reacting to the media attention that slowly began to form around the Hall of justice. "Oh wow, a new Atlantean hero." Bow chimed in, absolutely awestruck to be around several actual members of the Justice League, including three FOUNDERS. Bow immediately waved over to them, getting a somewhat sheepish wave from the young Atlantean.

Mermista walked over to the group, Trident in hand and looked over the hall. "So, what's your name?" Adora asked, walking to join her. "I'm Power Princess. I'm Amazon, we've had ties with Atlantis lately."

"Mermista." the blue-haired woman replied, looking her up and down. "6-foot tall warrior with a sword, trained by Wonder Woman? Yeah can safely say I'm glad we're on the same side." she said in her usual monotone.

Adora chuckled. "Same to you. Atlanteans are highly respected warriors." she said, shaking Mermista's hand.

Mermista nodded, "As are Amazons."

Finally, Superman descended from the sky and dropped off Bloom, who gave everyone a friendly wave. "Who's the new girl?" Angie asked.

"She looks… very flowery." Winter added.

Bow took the initiative and walked over, offering his hand. "I'm Apollo, you?"

She smiled and shook his hand. "Perfuma. It's a pleasure to meet you all." All of the heroes began to talk and make introductions as the League members got their atentions.

"Is time. Follow us." Superman said, and the seven listened. They could hear the crowd in complete awe of their presences as well. They were really beginning to feel like celebrities.

"Oh wow there's Power Princess!"

"IT's that plant girl, Perfuma!"

"Green Arrow's new sidekick is cute."

"Look at Frosta! Wow she's so young."

"Glimmer's here too, awesome!"

"I never expected to see Mermista here too."

"There's that Entrapta girl, wow her hair actually does that!"

"Man," Bow commented shyly. "This is all too much!"

"It's an honor Apollo, step one to being REAL heroes." Adora said, as the seven slowly entered the Hall of justice, and were left in complete awe.

The team has finally met. So I'm handling things a bit differently this story. While I will be doing Individual Chapters, I'll also be doing FULL arcs. The Current Arc of course is the Team Unites Arc.

Now that I've got the team together I'm already looking forward to writing everyone interacting. This is gonna be super fun. Also, Superman is 100% his DCAU counterpart. That's just hands down one of the best versions of the character.

Also you know Entrapta wants a Mother Box. She wants it now! LOL
