HEROES JOURNEY

Chapter-1 End of the old

It was any other day in the adventurer land of Orario. In one of the familia houses a 3 year young boy with white hair and ruby eyes was listening to his mother telling him stories about heroes.

She was a beautiful woman with flowing white hair matching that of the boy and emerald green eyes like that of the sea. She was a very kind and caring person but was bounded by a terrible fate because of a disease that would claim her life soon.

The boy was unaware of this and happily looked at his mother who read him stories and told him cool stuff adventurers and heroes used to do. The boy's name was Bell Cranell and his mother's name was Meteria Cranell. They were in the Zeus familia home.

His father was standing in the room happily smiling and looking at his son ad wife. He was an adventurer he had black hair and rubilate red eyes and was part of the Zeus familia in fact he was the level 9 captain of the familia. His name was Maxim Cranelland his alias was lightning bolt due to the incredible speed he possessed. As for his mother she was part of the Hera familia though she had a falna she was not a adventurer she was given the falna by Hera so that she could prolong her life even a little. Little Bell inherited his mother's kindness and his fathers speed and his mastery in the sword.

He also had an aunt (his mother's sister) named Alfia she was part of the Hera familia is a level 7 and alias Silence. He also had a person who visited him often he was his father's friend his name was Zard his alias Gluttony and was a level 7 of the Zeus familia.

As his mother was reading him the book there was a earthquake and a familia member rushing in the room told him that the Black Dragon was trying to leave the dungeon and that both their familia were trying to stop them. Hearing this and knowing they were no were near prepared to fight this battle. After asking him to look after Bell his father rushed to the battle field Materia soon followed to be beside of the man she loved.

Bell was in utter panic as his mother left him

"MOM"

"BELL STAY HERE WITH LORD ZEUS AND LADY HERA DON'T LEAVE THIS PALCE"

She ran after saying this Zeus and Hera tried to stop him but he ran out seeing some part of the city in flames .Not listening to them he made his way down to the street and so most of the members of both his familia dead. He saw his aunt and uncle (Zard) laying unconscious the captain of the Hera familia already dead . He saw his mother hurt badly on the verge of death as for his father he was facing the dragon alone blood dripping from many fatal wounds seeing this Bell screamed crying

"MOM, DAD"

"Bell what are u doing get away from here"

"No dad I am not leaving without u or mom"

Zeus and Hera tried to calm the boy but to no avail. Knowing it was the end for Jason he looked once at his wife then at his son. Then he charged the dragon to land a last attack to save his son and the city he called home, pouring his literal life into the blade which landed on its head causing severe damage to the dragon. The dragon started bleeding and some of his scales fell of the dragon it cried in pain and flew away to safety until the day it could heal and return to destroy the land .After the smoke cleared Bell ran to his father

"DAD"

No reply came has the hero had died tears falling from his eyes he ran to his mother's side who was living her last moments

"MOM"

"Bell my dear son I thought I told u to stay at home"

"III…..I AM S….ORRYY"

"Bell can u promise your mother one thing"

"..Yes..."

"I ….want u to stay safe…. And not to …fight the dragon"

"…."

"Then again …. Knowing who u are…. that is …not going to happen…"

"…?"

"So I want u to become strong…. Stronger than anyone… strong enough to protect the people u love… strong enough… defeat the dragon….. and most importantly strong enough to be the greatest hero"

"…."

"I also want u stay the way u are ….. I don't… want u to...be consumed by… hatred.. promise me this…"

" I PROMMMISSSEEEE MOOOM… "

"Lord Zeus …Lady Hera please…. keep Bell save and …help him get strong "

"Bell ….I …..LOVE …YOU"

"MOM!"

She didn't move as she took her last breath and died .Zeus came to comfort the boy holding back tears of his own to stay strong for his only grandson.

"Bell we need to go now and see to your uncle and aunt"

Zeus silently took the boys hand with the help of Hera managed to bring back the boy back home to the now empty familia home. After that he went to check up on Alfia and Zard the only ones who had survived the encounter with the dragon. After Zeus left he hugged Hera as she did her best to comfort the boy trying to stop the tears which were trying to escape her eyes. Little Bell soon cried himself to sleep.

1 WEEK LATER

Bell was crying in front of the gravestones of his parents flowers were laid there by many as these heroes were the ones who had saved their city. It was a way of showing their respect and gratitude to the fallen heroes of the Zeus and Hera familia.

There were two people standing behind him a women who was wearing a black battle drees she also had white hair but that of a darker shad she had two different coloured eye , one was grey the other one was emerald green . She in fact was the twin sister of Marthella her name was Alfia and was Bells aunt and his only living family. The other was a man who was wearing complete black armor leaving only his head has seen and he had a wine colour wine hair and wine colour eyes as well as a scar that covered both his eyes. His name was Zard and was a good friend of Bells father and was also very good friends with little Bell.

Both the heroes were holding their anger, sorrow and regret inside as they were unable to save any of their familia members and most importantly save Bells parents. It was especially hard of Alfia since she loved her sister very dearly. She decided she would look after Bell and give him all the love and care he needed but was afraid that the black flams of revenge would consume this poor child. As she was watching Bell intently he had stopped crying and what replaced it was a great determination burning in his eyes.

"Bell..."

Alfia had called out to her dear nephew

"Aunty Alfia uncle Zard will u train me to become strong like my father"

"….."

"I won't be consumed by revenge and hatred I promise I will work hard to achieve my goal "

"….."

"I will defeat the dragon not because of revenge I will beat it so that I can protect people and so that no one else has to go through what I had to go through"

"….!"

"So please help me I will not cry or complain about anything u ask of me so please help me get stronger"

Bell was saying this bowing his head to the two heroes

"Hahahahah…!"

"…!"

"You really are his son aren't u I will help u but it aint going to be easy"

"Thank you …!"

Bell said beaming with joy then he turned his head to his Aunt who hadn't said anything. Alfia was hesitant to put his life at risk but when he saw the determination in his eye she agreed to help him as well.

Elsewhere in the prayer room of Ouranos under the Guild eight other god had gathered to speak about the reason events.

"So what are u planning to do now Zeus and Hera?"

Ouranos had asked the question silencing everyone in the room. All the other gods Hepoistos, Hermes, Ganesha, Ishtar, Loki and Freya looked at the former two top gods of Orario who had lost all there familia member except two (3 counting Bell) .

"We are leaving "

This statement surprised everyone in the room they had not expected to just leave.

"We would also like to ask a favour of Loki and Freya familia"

"….."

"We would like u to take our place as the top two familia in the city"

"Sure we don't mind a tad bit" said Loki

"I will also take up your offer"

"WHHHATTTTT!"

Came a scream from Ishtar who was furious Freya had gotten the top spot instead of her. She was always jealous about how the others thought Freya was more beautiful then Ishtar.

"It is because she has more powerful familia then yours Ishtar" Zeus replied.

"Where do u plan on going Zeus" Hermes asked

"Somewhere near the mountains to live a peaceful life I don't think I can handle losing any more family"

Hera nodded still trying to stop the tears from flowing

"Also Alfia and Zard are coming with us since both do not have long to live I recommended that they also come and live a peaceful life for their time left"

"Before I go though Hepoistos are the stuff I asked for ready"

Nodding she handed him two boxes one large and one small. When asked about it by other gods he just shrugged and said

"For the future "

Ouranos thanked both Zeus and Hera for their hard work protecting the city and for the completion of the 2 of the 3 great quests and that they will remain great heroes of the city.

With that both Zeus and Hera left the guild. They went to the south gate of Orario to find all three of them waiting for them. With a last look at the city little Bell promised

"Mom, Dad I will come back stronger than ever till then wait for me"

With that they left the adventurer city of Orario behind…
