She winced, "I may have done that as a 'fuck you' to him. Not the smartest thing to do after a murder."
"Understandable."
Kagome smiled weakly, plopping her dozing baby into Sesshoumaru's startled arms. "Well, I better get to it."
"What?"
"I'm gonna clean?"
Noting the trembling of her shoulders with a quiet revelation, Sesshoumaru handed the baby back, who grumbled- taking the bag of cleaning supplies instead and heading towards the bedroom. "I would rather clean a murder scene than be responsible for a baby. Go elsewhere."
