Prompt: Final Countdown
Kagome took Takara into her nursery, allowing Sesshoumaru to clean. He mopped floors, cleaned walls- scrubbing every available surface until they gleamed. Kagome had moved the body by wrapping him in a blanket, tying it with ropes, so Sesshoumaru melted these things, along with her bed.
He did so purposefully, as though leading up to a grim, final countdown. Kagome's presence and DNA evidence were wiped away.
While cleaning the shower, his breath fogged the glass- words becoming visible.
'Kagome Higurashi was here' had been hidden in the bottom corner.
Were you afraid you would die?
Sesshoumaru's fingers covered the message.
