We see Supergirl punch down a monster as it crash down leaving a crater she hears cheers going around her looking up she smiles "Oh yeah! whose your hero metropolis!" she yelled getting even more cheers feeling great before flying away "This is an awesome day! Fighting monsters and getting cheered for it and the best way to celebrate is some Sweet Justice." she said before flying to said sweet shop but as she opened the door she was surprised by what she saw.
"Welcome back lady Kara."said Shoutaro wearing a butler outfit minus the hat looking at her with a charming smile getting her to blink before she could ask why he was wearing that she found herself on a table with a shoulder-less dress with a necklaces around her neck with a shawl over her shoulders "You look lovely as always Kara."Shoutaro said sitting across from her.
Kara looks up with a blush looking at him as he looks back smiling at her "Shoutaro? whats going on and why aren't wearing your hat?" She asked before realizing her clothes "And what am I wearing?"now wearing a heavier blush from noticing her clothes.
Before she could freak out more she felt a firm hand holding hers as she looks up she saw Shoutaro looking at her with that charming smile getting closer to her as their lips got closer before for odd reason Shoutaro started knocking her forehead getting a huh from her.
(Danvers resident)
Blinking blurry eyed she found herself in bed and hearing the knocking from the front door getting a groan "Stupid super-hearing." as Kara covered her head with her pillow. (She seem to forgot what she was dreaming about.)
Trying to get back to her dream though futile after hearing yells upstairs "Kara, your friends are here."
"What?"Kara sat up before getting out of bed groggily walking to her door "Who's coming over here this early?" she said before her door slam into her.
As Zee skipped in wearing her magician attire with two cages in each hand holding a bunny in each "Hello Kara dear: my pride and joy."Zee said with a bit of giddiness in her voice.
"Your pride and huh?" Kara said not amused by her door slamming in her but at least now she's awake albeit annoyed by the company.
"This is Blackberry Hazel von Hausle III, and this is Dandelion Pipkin de Heisenplay." Zee said raising each cage to show which bunny is which
Kara still a little out of it still not getting why Zee is here " M'kay. Why are they in my room?" might as well ask.
As Zee got in her face showing her phone "Uh, hello. We had a whole text thing about it last night." she said as she scrolled down her wall of text to finally she reached Kara's reply.
And that reply is "Whatev." Kara said not really paying attention.
Zee seeing her being a bit flippant about this put her phone down then asked her "Please, Kara! You simply cannot flake on me now! This is my very first paid performance as a solo magician, and I need you to care for my two little lovelies while I'm away." as she plead her case while picking up her bunnies.
Kara still isn't convinced "Can't you just take them with you? Aren't they, you know, part of your act or something?" she said figuring that this would be part of her act.
Zee scoffed at that "These are magical rabbits, my might be a bit much for a children's birthday party. Now, where can I put them?" before getting back to business looking around to see any clean place to put down the cages.
Kara shrugged "I don't know, put them over there." showing her pigst- I mean messy floor.
Zee gasp in disgust "On this floor? Ugh. Hold these." as she hands the cages to Kara while Zee walked about and help clean Kara's room for her all while laying down some rules "Now, there are only a few simple rules to bear in mind. First, they must be given only organic vegetables, cut into segments of no larger than an inch cubed. And I'm afraid I'll have to ask you to limit the cruciferous vegetables, as little Blackberry Hazel von Hausle III has had some issues with stomach discomfort recently. Then of course, they'll need access to fresh water at all times, no cooler than 57 degrees Fahrenheit, that's around 13.5 degrees Celsius. Ooh, and very important, when it's time for their brushing—"
Kara a little overwhelmed by the rules decides to get at least a time frame " How long are you gonna be gone?" she asked feeling like Zee is leaving the bunnies for a whole night.
"Eh, no more than an hour." before she magic up her poster over one of Kara's (I'm not gonna let Kara's poster go it looks cool) " Now, as to the brushings. Three strokes gently to the left, then five strokes gently to the right." Zee said making sure the word gently isn't ignored knowing how strong Kara is she has to make sure.
Kara annoyed just nodded "Yeah, yeah, I get it." she said not wanting to keep hearing gently like she's gonna pitch little fluffy butt to orbit if she wasn't told to be gentle.
Zee making her way to the door "Oh, okay. Oh, well, there is one more rule." before stopping much to Kara's annoyance getting a eye roll saying dude under her breath as Zee looks at Kara giving one grave warning "Th-th-th-this is the most important rule of all. You're not, under any circumstances, to put these two together. Do you understand?"
Kara looked to the bunnies both look up at her before giving a flat "Whatev." while giving Zee a are you done now look.
Zee still looking at Kara to see if she understood but she doesn't have the time so she's willing to trust her a little before cooing her magic bunnies "Thank you, Kara! Mummy's gonna miss you lovelies. See you soon! Bye-ee!" before she closed the door.
Meanwhile Kara looked down at the bunnies and when she sets them down she sqeed "Who's the cutest little bunny-wunnies of all bunny-wunnies? It's you, isn't it? Yes, yes. Oh, are you the sweetest little magical bunnies? Are you? Are you the sweetest and magicaliest? I think so. Yes, I do." as she was gushing over the rabbits she doesn't realize she's got company.
Still in her fluffy high "What were your stupid names again? Ah, who cares! You look like a Merlin, and you look like a Harry Houdini! Do you like those names? Yes, yes. Ah, you're so cute! Come here, Merlin. Oh, Merlin's a squishy little wuv-bunny. Yes, he is! Yes, he is! Now you, Harry Houdini. [chuckle] I'm drowning in cuteness!" befor freezing when she saw Shoutaro looked at her awkwardly as she put "Houdini" back in its cage.
"Well...isn't that precious?" Shoutaro said trying not to smile at the display and before he knew it he found himself up against the wall with a bright red face Kara glaring at him, so shoutaro held his hands up "please don't hurt me." he said quickly afraid he might not have enough time to beg.
Kara glared "How long were you here?" she said hoping he didn't see more than what just happened.
Shoutaro paused for a moment before he gulping and saying "I was here the whole time." Kara wide eyed and blushed more thinking she was angry he elaborate "When Zee asked you to look after her pet I was dragged in to help so you don't break any rules."
Kara now dropped him before grabbing him by his tie so she was glaring eye to eye with him "Don't you dare say anything and don't tell Philip." she threaten him also knowing Philip tends to ramble when he's deep in research about whatever subject and will sometime tell a secret during his rambling, Karen never lived it down. (I'm not telling what her secret is.)
Though Shoutaro thankfully felt a bit reassured "Don't worry Philip is in his takoyaki research now so he wont know your secret love for cute animals."he said feeling a bit relieved when Kara loosened her grip "Though you do look cute whe-" Shoutaro didn't finished as he found himself in the wall seeing Mr,Danvers looking at him "Ohayo Danvers san." bowed his head while Mr Danvers also bowed looking a bit amused before walking away.
Kara's eyes were shut trying to shake away the blush before opening them before blinking wondering where Shoutaro is only to see his legs dangling in the walls getting the young kryptonian to groan "Not again." as she walks up and pulled him out of the wall who looked dazed.
Shaking the blunt force trauma he looked at Kara diverting her attention to the bunnies so he decides to keep watch and make sure she sticks to the rules Zee made before he dusted his fedora and put it back on.
As Kara walked back wiping her face to rub out her blush she saw the bunnies reaching for each other "Huh? Aw! Zee said I should keep you two apart..." before looking at them.
Shoutaro looking up saw this and knew whats happening "Kara,don't do what I think your doing." as Shoutaro walked closer so she doesn't break Zee's rule.
But Kara ignored him " I bet she gives you lots of dumb little rules to follow. She gives me dumb little rules, too." as she got close to one of the cage to unlock it Shoutaro grabbed her arm.
"Kara stop Zee told you to keep them apart and since she said they're magical we should follow her rules." Shoutaro said sternly looking at her.
But Kara swat Shoutaro's arm aside "Let go, I don't care about Zee's stupid rules look at them they looks so torn from each other." she said showing the bunnies teary eyed as they reach for other.
Shoutaro was holding himself back before shaking his head "Kara they aren't regular rabbits they are magic rabbits and we don't know what would happen if they do get together." he reasoned.
But Kara isn't backing down "Well if your not gonna help then butt out." before going for the cage but Shoutaro held her back and throwing her over to the wall before she got up and glared at Shoutaro who just gulped "You are so DEAD!" before flying at Shoutaro who struggled with her both fighting for whose on top.
They kept rough housing until they knocked over the cages that let the bunnies free and they embraced just as Kara found herself breathing heavily over a panting Shoutaro whose faces were too close Kara blushed before sitting up which in her position isn't less embarrassing for her as she was straddling him with Kara's mind going allover the place she was only broke out by Shoutaro's "...Ah." as she looks up at the rabbits embracing.
"AAaaaaah!/Awwwww."Came Shoutaro and Kara's response respectively as they saw the cute display "See they're just hugging I knew it was a stupid rule." only for Shoutaro clear his throat getting her attention before she was still sitting on his midsection she jumped off "This wouldn't happen if you just let me get them out." Kara said before huffing and faced away from him while she blushed.
As Shoutaro got back up he noticed their is more bunnies "Eto wasn't it just two magic rabbits?" getting Kara's attention she saw what happend.
With a gasp she sqee "Harry Houdini!You're a mom!" as she ran up to grab the bundle all while Shoutaro looks perplexed as Kara was hugging the bunnies "You are so cute! I can't take it! Oh, my God, oh, my God, oh, my God. I never knew I needed this in my life!"she starts to cuddle with them.
"Ano Kara, Kara san,Kara chan, KARA I know rabbits breed fast but not that fast I mean theirs more of them!" Shoutaro shouted getting her to snap out of it as she see she is covered by bunnies.
While outside her door Mr, Danvers knocked on the door "Hey, Kara. I'm headed to the farmer's market. Need anything?" while Kara in her stunned mind replies "Carrots?" guessing she wants some carrots he replied "You got it. and don't have too much fun with your boyfriend." before he headed for his car.
Not hearing him she start to panic "Okay, okay. Think, Kara." as she hit her head to get some ideas but felt something soft before opening her hand to see a baby bunny looking down she saw even more "Ah! No, Kara, stop thinking." before she grabbed the bundle and shoving them into one of the cages. Thinking that takes care of it she saw more "How did I miss these?" as she shoves it into the other cage before seeing more, now holding her head even more befuddled "Gah! What is going on?" she then grabbed her guitar and like a shovel she shoveled the bunnies into her wash basket only to eek at a tower before grabbing her sheets to hold the tower of bunnies.
As Shoutaro saw the ever growing ball of bound bunnies which looks like its going to explode wasting no time as just as the blanket was torn Shoutaro ran in front of Kara and covering her as the bunnies explodes out getting up concern Shoutaro looked down "You Okay?" getting a nod before Shoutaro helped her up before they were both found themselves get carried by the ever growing population of magic babies "This wouldn't have happened if you just listened to Zee's rule."
Kara a bit irked by that "I got it handled." getting a flat stare from Shoutaro saying really? "Yeah and my windows closed so they won't-" Kara cut herself off when the window overflowed with bunnies as she saw two of the rabbits she point at them "Hey, you two. Stop right there!" as the magic rabbit looked at her before jumping out Kara gasp as she swam her way and seeing the rabbits riding their off springs down the road "Uh, this might be getting slightly out of hand."
"Really I haven't noticed I mean it's just cute little bunnies!" Shoutaro yelled sarcastically as he swam before grabbing donning his driver and digging out his memory only to pick up a bunny before tossing the baby aside and takes out his Gaia memory "Philip!"
(At the Double research lab a.k.a Philips room)
"Takoyaki is a dish that originated from the Nishinari Ward Nishinari-ku, Osaka Prefecture Ōsaka-fu in 1935, and is said to have been inspired by Hyogo Prefecture's akashiyaki, a round omelette containing octopus eaten with dashi soup." as Philip was rambling on about the applications and origin he was starled by Shoutaro shout and the appearance of the W driver sighing he closed his book before positioning himself in front of the sofa befor taking his memory out "Lets finish quickly I'm close to finishing." before pressing it CYCLONE.
Back to Shoutaro "Wagata just help us with this mess!" he shouted as he pressed his JOKER as they got ready "HENSHIN" as cyclone appeared in the slot before he insert the slot and his own before opening it going through the motion he henshined blowing the bunnies aside "Cyclone! Joker! (Technical guitar to orchestral hit)" As double is done he started to feel bunnies falling on top of him "Shoutaro what is going on and why are their hundreds of rabbits in this room" Philip said while Shoutaro didn't bother to answer as he took out a black and red phone pushing some numbers before jumping out looking up he saw Kara changed "You go on ahead while I wait for my ride" getting a thumbs up before flying off.
(Metropolis)
As the adorable bunnies at first got adored turns to panic as a tidal wave of white baby bunnies Supergirl is flying over them "Time to take out the adorable trash!" she said before flying down ahead of them holding her hands shouting "Halt!" before the rabbits stampede around her "Why did I think that would work?" She said deadpanned questioning herself.
While Double just arrived on his HardTurbuler a bike and jet combo with the front black bike part with its wheel turn to become a turbine while the back is red jet with bladed wings on each ends looking at Supergirl blowing a lock of hair "Did you just told millions of rabbits to stop?" he questioned only receiving a huff of annoyance from her while Double looks up he sees where the stampeding rodents are heading not great "They're headed for midtown!"Double pointed.
Supergirl gasp "They'll overrun the whole city!" she exclaimed before flying up to Double "we gotta block the way before seeing the frame of the bridge "Perfect" with that said she flew down with Double following knowing her plan as she lands Double flew around the metal frame cutting it while Supergirl caught it and flew ahead and placed it in front of the bridge feeling smug she gloats " Sorry, rabbits. This road's closed. Whoa-a. Ah, seriously, guys?" before she realized she didn't stop them just redirect them.
Double hovered down looking to where they are going and remembered who is in the direction the rabbits are going "Didn't Zee say she was performing a birthday party in the park?" he asked but not getting a response he turn his head "Supergirl?" before hearing her being carried by the rabbits as he watched "Eeeeeeh." before flying ahead to atleast help Supergirl from the bunnies.
(Park party)
As Zee is performing one of her tricks to some of the children she said " Now, Tommy, let's see what's behind... your ear!" instead of the quarter she magic there he pulled a baby bunny much to Zee confusion
"Uh... Huh?" narrowing her eyes to make sure she wasn't mistaking.
Tommy equally confused said "That's not my quarter. That's a—" before one of his friend point to the side getting his attention wide eyed "Bunnies!"before they were covered by a literal flood of critters.
After the rush two heads pop up with Supergirl looking at the glaring Zee getting a chuckle she tries to lighting the mood "So... how's it goin'?" A for effort but she's in trouble.
Zee not amused " I told you to keep them apart!" she scolded her for her mishaps and that is when Double flew by "And you were suppose to watch her!" she yelled at Double before pointing at Supergirl.
"Look I'm sorry but we kinda got in a fight and I might have accidentally knocked both over so it's kinda my fault!" Double yelled back before flying lower so he doesn't have to yell.
While Supergirl looked stunned as Double is instead of throwing her under the bus like she thought he would he was pulling her away while he falls in her place, This of course miffed Zee as she looks angry at him "Kara I believe would do this but YOU darling I thought better of you, how could you let them out." Supergirl was beside herself on why he would cover for her?
Double now trying to calm her down "Well she wanted them to be together but I can't hold her back and.." he sighed because Philips is going to remember this "They look so sad when they can't be together"
Zee a little fed up said "Exactly! That's the problem." in frustration.
While Supergirl was looking at the two going back she heard the kids "Oh, wow! What a great Superman costume!" Supergirl annoyed replied "This is not a Superman costume." not wanting to compared to her cousin again.
Zee sees this and needing a cover up for her act "Uh, yes, children. They are my lovely assistants, Supergirl! And Double! They're here to help with the next trick, which is to make all these rabbits disappear! See, all gone!" as she takes one of the bunnies off Supergirls head before poofing it away by throwing it up and in her hat "Come on, lovely assistants. Let's make the rest of these rabbits vanish."before flying with Supergirl while Double decides to change to LunaJoker and joined them.
And with Supergirls strength, speed and flight and Double stretching right half they are able to throw every rabbit into Zee magic hat and when they are done the posed with Supergirl crossing her arms and Double flicking his left wrist before Zee lands in between them while striking a pose with a "Ta-da!" getting the kids to cheer.
"Superman's sister is the best!" one of the kids exclaimed much to Supergirl frustration but was held back by Double and Zee "Listen, kid, I—" she was interrupted by the earth shaking rumblings as every on looked around to find where it was coming from.
"Maybe it's just the rest of the city applauding?" Supergirl said hoping for something better only for Double to tap her on her shoulder pointing behind her with a astonished posture.
Looking behind them they see the parent bunnies riding a wave of bunnies still embracing each other with both girls looking wide eyed.
"Oh, no! They're still together!" Zee said in horror.
"And they still love each other." Supergirl said with a hint of gushing in her voice.
Double was just speachless until the rabbit wave is just about ready to crash on them "Yabai." before they were all swept up by the bunny flood.
Supergirl gasp for air crying out "Ah! Drowning in cuteness!" before she sunk back in.
While Double also broke through "Shoutaro I believe it's time to explain what is going on?" before more rabbits washed over him pulling him under.
While Zee pulled herself out scolding Double "I told you to make sure she doesn't let the rabbits out! I gave her one rule!" before she was interrupted by Supergirl who interject
"No. No, you didn't. You gave me, like, 500 rules." before she was fell back in while Zee pushed back up.
"And you broke the only one that mattered!" she cried out while Double found his HardTurbuler floating close by before swimming towards it.
Supergirl pop up feeling a bit frustrated this time "How was I supposed to know Harry Houdini was a girl?"
Zee popped up this time appalled "Harry what? How dare you! Those rabbits are purebred magical creatures with carefully selected names. They are not to be mentioned in the same breath as Merlin and Harry Houdini!" she scolds Supergirl as they spiral through the bunny flood while Double finally able to fly looks down at the girls bickering.
"My names are way better than yours!" Supergirl fired back at Zee naming sense.
Double got a bit fed up "Girls back to the issue! Zee how do we get the bunnies to stop multiplying?"
As Zee decides to let it go as she need to fix her two friends messes "The only way to stop magical rabbits..." before holding her breath to dive back in and a flash of violet magic shot out revealing herself as Zatara " is with magic itself. Since the cause of all this is the love between Blackberry Hazel von Hausle III and Dandelion Pipkin de Heisenplay—"as she was trying to find her rabbits but as she finished her rabbits name.
Supergirl who was coincidentally being swept by "Merlin and Harry Houdini." she said quickly while Double chased after her to pull her out.
Zatara ignored her as she continues " —then I will simply have to cast a hate spell to drive them apart. leef ton stibbar evol kaeps I!"as the rabbits stopped before slowly thinning out and anyone caught up were freed with Zatara looking confident that she handled the situation only to find that the rabbits aren't disappearing but converging on each other becoming bigger and bigger.
Supergirl watching this phenomenon ask "Uh, what's going on?"looking worried by the colossus collection of bunnies forming into a monster.
Double looked to Zatara "What kind of cantation did you say?"he said feeling like this isn't going to be easy.
As rabbit monster roared out Zatara might be thinking she might've goofed her spells "I may have worded that spell wrong."
Supergirl looked up seeing the how big it is " I couldn't handle them when they were a million tiny bunnies, but one giant monster? No problem."she said because now it became a big target.
Double who heard her looked at her "Wait even if their bigger doesn't mean-" she flew of going through the bunny legion "-it isn't million of smaller bunnies." Double finished drooping his arm a bit watching her poor display he looked to Zatara "You said this happen when they get together but what happens if they are pulled apart?"
Zatara confused by his question answered "well the others will disappear but we need to find them in-On no darling you can't be serious your going to have to jump down its maul! It's to dangerous who knows what might happen."
But Double now back in his CycloneJoker form looks back at her "Take it as me counting my sins."before jumping onto his ride machine and flying full speed at the monster "Philip I might need you to find them" before Philip replies "I at least got the names so no worries, just try not getting eaten while inside."
As Supergirl was winding her punch she was grabbed as she struggled she was freed when Double flew through the monsters arm before reforming a new one, as Supergirl looked to Double "I got it handled but thanks anyway" before noticing Double nodded before getting knocked of his ride, with a gasp she flew to try and catch him only for Double to yell at her.
"Makasero Supergirl keep everyone safe." with Double's last words the mouth shut getting her to stare silently as tear formed Zatara was also gasping in horror.
Supergirl now raging flew while yelling in anger each punch broke more and more pieces but more and more took their place as Zatara with her own anger fired magic bolts at her monster pet " This is not how I raised you!" she shouted hurt by losing her friend.
as they got tired the monster got close to them and roared but stopped feeling something wrong as their inside is churning and they can vaguely hear something Cyclone Maxumum Drive "Cyclone Bomber!" as the beast rears back in agony Double blast out holding the Rabbits now making a heart shape "I'm out!"
"DOUBLE/ Your alive"Said Supergirl and Zatara respectively both crying with joy before noticing the beast now crawling to Double to get its heart back "Quick Double pull them apart!" but thanks to her relief Supergirl still feel for the magic rabbit "But... But they love each other." Zatara looked at Supergirl "Seriously?!"
Double sighed before he strain to pull them apart not helping when two madly in love rabbit are holding each other for life but his persistence paid off as he pried the two apart as the mashed up monstrosity started to melt and turn to glittering sparkles with a heavy sigh Double felt relieved it's now over before he was glomped by Supergirl and Zatara before they let go for differing but the same reason.
For Supergirl it was in embarrassment as she sports a blush while for Zatara it was in public and she has to cover this whole mess up "Uh... Ta-da!" as she said that the crowed cheered as the young heroes smiled.
Now back in their civilian form Zee was drilling Shoutaro for his reckless behavior "Listen darling I know what you did was very brave but it was also very stupid you worried us half to death and hopefully you won't try that stunt again do I make myself clear."
"Hai hai wakata, I was wrong it was my fault so I might as well clean up my mess ups."Shoutaro said exhausted by the fight and the scolding but Kara stopped getting both of their attentions "Mm whats wrong Kara is something wrong?"
'Why are you doing this?" Kara said looking down getting a head tilt from him so she elaborates "Why are you covering for me you try to stop me and I just knocked you around I thought you would just leave me with the trouble I made!" before turning to Zee who was looking surprised by the news "Listen Zee he tried to stop me but I let them out so if you want to blame someone blame me because I'm supposed to look after your pet so could you lay off him?"Kara said in her guilt but she found Shoutaro patting her head getting her to look at him.
He looked at Kara with a reassuring smile that seems familiar to her as he says "Doesn't matter whose at fault I'm not gonna leave you hanging because you did something wrong besides Zee trusted us with her rabbits but we broke her trust so we have to apologize and hope she forgives us because we're friends, right?"he said smiling a bit before turning his attention to Zee "So do you forgive us for messing up?"
Zee looked at them both before smiling "As long as you follow my rules from now on I'll think about it."she said teasingly and Kara smiled a bit.
"Yeah I make no promises."Kara said happy her friend doesn't hate her.
Zee melodramatically sighed "Well, that's more than I can ask for." getting a giggle from her and her friends as they walk home.
