In the vacuum of space we see two green streaks clashing with one another before we zoom in and see Green Lantern Jess and Green Lantern Hal sparing with each other before they made distance H GL always cocky say "This is it! I got you pinned inside the tent, staring at an all-out blitz." as he construct a bo staff. He wore the same uniform like Jess except instead of a lantern symbol on one eye he wore a green domino mask.

J GL doesn't understand H GL football lingo simply ask "Wait. What? What does that mean?" before she just constructed her own staff to block H GL they both struggled before a gruff voice stopped them.

"No, no, no." as we see Kilowog who is a pink skin broad built alien with a thick chin, tusk and small hippo like ears (basically an angry looking hippo alien that is jacked) also wearing the Green Lantern uniform without a mask.

As his recruit flew to the asteroid he was standing on holding his face in frustration "I don't get it, Cruz, what's the plan here? Hope the pizza guy happens by and distracts him?" he asked rhetorically because all she does is react instead of engage.

Hal GL thought about that statement and couldn't really deny it "Eh, could be a good strategy, actually." not helping his case.

Kilowog heard him which got him in Hals face "Quiet, Jordan! If you were fightin' anyone other than this poozer, you'd be in the infirmary right now." he scolded but Hal looked unphased due to being with him for so long.

With a smirk like he told him before saying "I told you, Kilowog, Jess doesn't fight." he walked besides him and leaning on him "Even if she is in danger the best she could do is try and trip her enemies instead of beating them."

Kilowog unamused shrug him off almost tripping Hal before he marched up to Jess "In the Green Lantern Corps, everyone fights." he constructed a hammer to well hammer his lesson into Jess who created a shield "Your ring is only as strong as your willpower. Fear weakens your mind. It renders your ring useless." still smashing his construct against hers which is about to crack "Why won't you fight back? Are you afraid?" he taunted.

Jess still struggling now got fed up "I'm not afraid!" dropping her shield and ducking under his swing she aimed her ring at Kilowog's face before constructing a octopus to cover it.

Surprised Kilowog struggle to free his face while Hal was laughing at the display "She's beating you with sushi!"

Finally getting rid of the will powered Cephalopod before noticing something under him which Jess pulled revealing to be a rug as she stood feeling she made her case "I just believe that when it comes to fighting, there's always another way." Jess said resolute on her position.

But Kilowog disagrees "You got lucky. Well, you won't be able to keep that up, forever. Sooner or later, you will have to learn to fight." before he flew back to Oa while Jess looked on conflicted by his statement but still not willing to let it get to her.

(Metropolis High)

We then see Shoutaro walking going to the fields to get ready as he was hired as a stand in just encase one of the players can't play much to his annoyance sure he was good at soccer in middle school but that doesn't translate to football oh well, he must accept his fate coolly and hard boiled. "As annoying as it is I'll keep facing each problem with a cool head." he said under his breath.

"Your trying too hard again, it really makes you half boiled Shoutaro." Philip said telepathically getting Shoutaro to almost trip in surprise.

Before he could scold Philip for eavesdropping he ends up overhearing two of his friends close by "Yeah, Kilowog's right, you know. You're gonna have to hit someone, eventually." he turn to see them walking up to him unbeknownst to them.

"Oh, Hal, must you be so wrong about so many things?"Jess said patting his shoulder like he wasn't that bright only to hear some girls and a hamster mascot cheer for Hal who cheered back getting her to groan in annoyance "Life isn't like a sports match, Hal. There are more ways to perform a touchdown than punching people." she said.

Before Shoutaro said "Actually you get a yellow flag penalty if you do that." as he walked up getting both their attention.

Before Jess could ask why he was here Hal walked up to him "Shou my man thanks for filling in, Ned got a stomach ache after eating the today special so you really helped." as Hal shoulder hugged him.

Shoutaro sighed not really bothered by this "You know we're a detective agency not freelancers right?" he said smirking a bit.

That got her attention "Wait you have a detective office?"she said quirking a brow as this is the first time she heard of this.

Both Shoutaro and Hal looked at her both saying "Yeah we/they do." Shoutaro then said "I'm still an apprentice but boss thinks I should get some experience outside of japan so he arranged a firm for me and Philip to live while we get use to doing things ourselves."

Hal seeing Jess looking at him saying how he knows? "I was doing my morning run before seeing him looking for a cat.[snort] and get this he was meowing the whole time." he answered before chuckling much to Shoutaro's annoyance.

As they were socializing Hal looked up before his face turn to horror "Oh no!" he gasp before finding a place to hide not seeing anything he hid behind Shoutaro getting an OI from him before peeking behind him " I didn't know that we were playing these guys." getting both Jess and Shoutaro to look to see the bus holding the opposing team.

Jess thinking he was overreacting laughed "Hang on! Is the great Hal Jordan actually afraid of the other team?"

But Hal shook his head while looking at the bus in fear "It's not the team I'm afraid of." as he shakily point " I finally got tracked down... By my greatest enemy."Hal said quivering.

Shoutaro narrowed his eyes trying to find see who Hal is afraid of but all he sees is a cute cheerleader "Who? Behind the cute cheerleader?"he asked because he can't see anyone else.

"It is the cheerleader!" Hal said in a panic getting Shoutaro to look at him deadpanned, while Hal's friends look at him in disappointment he made eye contact with said cheerleader who narrowed her eyes in suspicion " I think she saw me!" Hal cried ducking behind Shoutaro who looked back at him with a huff.

"Oh, stop it, you big baby. I'm sure she's-" as Jess is trying to snap Hal who was rocking back and forth out of it while Shoutaro saw her walk behind the bleachers before a pink flash that stopped Jess before glancing at the light show "... harmless." she weakly finished as everyone watch in concern as they saw a burning pink heart with a female silhouette rising up.

"Thought you got rid of me, didn't you, Hal Jordan? Well, now, YOU'RE MINE!" as she reveals herself we see a pale skin girl with long black hair with a pink tiara and before her eyes were blue now is a violet pink as she wears princess-themed clothing, including a pink tutu with puffy sleeves and white high collar, along with white elbow-length gloves and matching knee-length socks, and pink high heels. and a noticeable pink ring on her right middle finger which she used to create a heart shaped projectile as she throws it at the teens who all jumped out of the way.

Shoutaro tumbled a bit screaming "Abune! Whats going on who is she?" before ducking holding his hat as he made his way to Jess and Hal.

The scary cheerleader still firing blindly screams out "You belong to me, Hal Jordan! Show your face, HAL JORDAN!"

Hearing this Hal is scared stiff before Jess grabbed his arm and pulled him up while Shoutaro is looking for a safe place to regroup seeing a random popcorn cart big enough to hide behind he said "Come on!" and ran as the to Lantern recruits followed while Hal is covering his head trying not to get hit.

Once they made it Jess wants answers while Shoutaro peek out to make sure she doesn't blast them "What's going on? Who is this girl?"Jess asked.

While Hal now still freaking out but less so now "She's called Star Sapphire, and she's super clingy."he answered still holding still hoping to not be seen.

Shoutaro still making sure if their cover is safe said "I can see that. Is she some kind of super evil maniacal space princess or something?" now getting nervous as one shot very close to them.

Hal now sweating said gravely "Worse! She's... my ex-girlfriend."

Their was a pause while explosions are happening in the background as Jess and Shoutaro slowly turn to Hal looking incredulous "She's What?" they both said at the same time before their cover was blown.

Now running Jess's now more annoyed said "Leave it to you to date a super villain." before jumping behind cover "Come on, Hal. As Kilowog would say, "Let's stop this poozer."" before both started to chant their Lantern vows "In brightest day, in blackest night."

Hal continues "No evil shall escape my sight."

Jess "Let those who worship evil's might..."

Hall " Beware our power..."

" Green Lantern's light!" they both finished but something went wrong as only Jess changed while Hal's sputtered getting a confused look from Hal "Huh?"

Shoutaro looked confused at Hal after hearing them recite something "Um was something suppose to happen?" he said as both recruits remember that he was there.

Before Hal can say anything Jess explained "Hal is also a Green Lantern like me." getting an oh from Shoutaro while Hal looked at Jess wandering why Shoutaro knows about the Green Lanterns but his thought was cut off by Jess GL who now looks at Hal "But something is wrong with your ring." before remembering Kilowog said something about fear dampens a Green Lanterns powers, so with a gasp "Hal! Are you scared?" she said teasingly.

Hal looked insulted "Dude!" he said getting the other two to lean back "She really freaks me out." before he shrink in on himself.

Shoutaro almost fell over as he said "Majika." exasperated by this odd event, before seeing a pink blast coming towards them "We gotta move!" before running and then joined by the GL recruits after another cover was blown but the scary cheerleader was still blasting at them seeing a clear path he shouted "The locker room we can find cover there." getting both to nod.

But the bright pink heart blast is still making this difficult to maneuver " You can't hide from my love, Hal Jordan!" so Green Lantern J decide to cover fire constructing a bow and arrows to shoot down the heart blast.

However she was overwhelmed by the continuous blast she decided to shield the both of the two males who is still running by creating a hamster ball for them as they kept running "What did you do to her?" she asked now wanting the whole story.

Hal just still running glance at Green Lantern J who was flying close by while shoutaro also looked at Hal because he was dragged in this too "Nothing. She's just mad 'cause I broke up with her." he said.

"Worst! Text! EVER!" the crazy ex cried still shooting at them.

"Wait." After hearing this Jess stopped the hamster ball causing Hal and Shoutaro to crash inside of it before disappearing but Jess doesn't notice Shoutaro as her attention is solely on Hal "You broke up with her over text?" now accusing him.

Hal trying to make not seem worst "I put a smiley face in it. I'm not the Joker." all while Shoutaro looked at both Lanterns with a really? expression.

Over hearing that the angry ex stopped her attack "Well, now there's a frowny face..." as she creates a giant burning heart with a sad expression "On my heart!" she yelled now over them

Seeing this both Hal and Shoutaro are now running much to Shoutaro's annoyance as he looked to Hal "You couldn't at least broke up with her face to face!?"

Hal looked at him like he was crazy "You think that would be a good idea!?" as he gestured to his crazy ex holding a pink heart shape spirit bomb.

But Jess now more angry yelled at him "How could you do that to her?"

While said ex is more sad than angry "You broke my heart."

Jess still drilling him "That's the lowest thing you've ever done."

And the crazy ex finished " I cry myself to sleep every night." before throwing her heart out (That isn't a metaphor she just threw her heart shaped bomb.)

Seeing this both teens eep before both jumping one side but due to the heart mostly aim for Hal Shoutaro was able to tumble and keep running while Hal was thrown in the air and was caught by Green Lantern.

Hal now a bit fed up "Will you please just hit her?" saying to buy them time to get to cover.

But Jess still angry at Hal "If anyone deserves to be hit, it's you!"she said before creating a wall to block off his ex before flying to see Shoutaro waving them down.

(Football team locker room. (no girls allowed) )

As they flew in the locker room with Shoutaro shutting the door as they went in the three teens sighed in relief before seeing the rest of the football team who was getting ready to stare at them then one of them to scream "Girl!" as the boys all hurriedly got dressed before running out.

They stared confused for a moment but Green Lantern smacked Hal over the head "Ow! Come on. I didn't know she was a Violet Lantern when I started dating her. She was just Carol." Hal explained as he was rubbing the spot she smacked.

Green Lantern J of course being new never heard of them " A violet what?" she asked raising a brow.

Hal decides to explain "A Violet Lantern. You know, how our rings use will-power, hers uses love." as Hal point to his ring "At first it was the best but she got really clingy and once I figured out she was a Violet Lantern I had to break it off."

Shoutaro now getting the picture "So that's why you text her instead of just telling her." before he gave Hal a disappointed look "So you have enough time to run."

Before they can grill Hal for this they heard her yell "You can't run from me, Hal Jordan! Love will always find a way!" getting both GL Jess and Shoutaro to sweatdrop at the tenacity of the Violet Lantern.

But Hal used to being chased for his good looks kinda flaunts it "If only I wasn't so effortlessly charming and ruggedly good-looking, then she wouldn't have any power." before leaning on the locker in a smooth guy pose.

While Shoutaro and GL Jess gave deadpan looks only for Jess to get inspired by an idea "Wait a minute. You might be onto something there."

Hal thinking she thinks his handsome said "Oh, so you think I'm ruggedly good-looking, huh?" only earning him a smack to the head by her while Shoutaro snort a chuckle in the background.

As she dragging Hal toward the mirror as she elaborate her plan "She's powered by love, right? So, we have to make her not love you. By making you ugly."

But Hal knew it was a fools errand but he let her do it " Good luck!" as she kept trying to change his hair but ends up giving differing boy band hairstyles getting Hal to nod "You should open a hair salon, you might have talent." getting her to grunt in annoyance before she tries one last time only to wound up not making a difference as Hal posed in the mirror winking at his reflection "See? Lost cause. but seriously you should think about that hair salon thing"

As Shoutaro watch as this is happening he heard whistling before turning to see Garth a small slightly chubby boy wearing a red shirt and blue shorts also wearing grey sneakers and white socks, carrying the teams towels "Yo, kid."

Garth hearing Shoutaro turned to see them "Oh, hey, guys, what's up?" before seeing Green Lantern but not knowing who she is.

But said Green Lantern sees an opportunity now points at Garth who looked confused "Boy, take off your clothes." while both Hal and Shoutaro looked at GL Jess wide eyed.

Garth now a little afraid "What?" but before he could run Green Lantern already grabbed him by the collar.

(A stuggling Garth later.)

Now standing awkwardly with nothing but a towel and socks (And hopefully undies.) to hide his dignity while Green Lantern is struggling to put Garth's shirt over Hals head due to the fact the shirt is small.

Shoutaro looked apologetic at him scratching the back of his neck awkwardly "Thanks, Garth. We just need to borrow your style for a bit." he said.

Garth now trying to boost his self esteem try to brag "Yeah. You're not the first to tell me loves my flava." but only got Shoutaro to stare at him with pity.

"I, don't think they asked for what you think they asked it for." Shoutaro said sweatdropping by the young teen obliviousness.

They then heard Green Lantern now measuring Hal as Hal is now wearing Garth's clothes now looking stretched a bit "Okay, Hal, slouch it down a little. Now, shorten your neck, push out your gut more." she instructed while Hal was following her command now Green Lantern seem satisfied nodded to her self "Perfect! That's super unattractive!" getting a wait, what? from Garth who looked like he got tricked as Shoutaro patted his head in encouragement. (Don't mind)

(Outside of the Locker rooms)

As Green Lantern push Hal out Shoutaro looked at her "You do know this might just backfire, ...right?"

But GL Jess is confident her plan will work "Don't worry once she finds how dumb he really is she will loose all her power and will just walk away."

Shoutaro looked at her before saying "You just want to mess with Hal and this was just the perfect excuse to do it. isn't it?" he deadpanned but GL didn't bother to respond before they hide behind a trash can seeing how this goes.

As Hal walked staying in character he saw Star waiting for him Hal gulped before continuing on.

Star seeing him walk up but because she was flying high she can't really see him clearly yet "There you are." before gasping once she grasp his appearance.

Hal now seeing her drop a bit now getting in the role "Greetings, Carol. You want to hear all about my new allergies?" he said thinking what a nerd would sound like he even stick out his tongue to mimic a lisp.

As Star recoiled she fell a bit more noticeably that Green Lantern said "See it's working. She's losing power." now smug at Shoutaro who still looked doubtful.

Hal still in his role now cup his hands to help Star hear him clearly "Or... Or maybe... Maybe you want to come check out my..." not knowing how to continue looked behind him specifically at Garth and whispers "Hey, Garth, what's something dumb that you like?"

Garth a little insulted but answered " Star Battles comic books. But they're not dumb."

But all Hal heard is "My Star Battles comic books." now Star is getting more and more heartbroken while Hal starts to dance like a... well dweeb all while saying "Look at me, I'm such a losery nerd." now Garth feels absolutely insulted.

All while Star got closer to him "What happened to you?" as she shakily reached out to Hals face now crying she said "My beautiful Hal Jordan."

Hal now wanting to quickly finish this, this shirt is starting to itch "Sorry, baby. This is the real me."

Star now whimpering at her loves pathetic appearance said "Look at you, so sad. So pathetic. So gross." as if to prove her point Hal is now scratching his back but from her perspective it was his butt. As she backs away still in tears "No one can ever love you like this. Except me. I'll love you forever! Only I can see the beauty behind the geek! No one can love you like I can, Hal Jordan. Not even... Her!" as she got more powerful and her love came back tenfold as she now points at GL Jess who looked surprised.

All while Shoutaro looked back at Jess "She thinks your in love with Hal?" asking in confusion.

"Once you're out of the picture, there'll be no one left between me and MY HAL JORDAN!" Star declared answering Shoutaro.

Which caused Green Lantern to looked appalled "Oh, wait! You think... [laughs] No. No, no, no, no. No, no, no. No, no, no, no! No. No, no, no, no, no. We are not together. Not even close to being together. We couldn't be less together-"before she ducked under her blast as Shoutaro drags Hal away from the fight as they spectate.

"You will so regret the day you stole my Hally Wal from me." now her power has entered her Jealous state she is even more powerful as she keeps attacking Green Lantern.

Shoutaro and Garth turned to Hal who is now trying to take off the shirt "Hally Wal? seriously." Shoutaro asked.

Hal now struggling with the shirt grunted before replying "It was cute before but now it's just scary." before finally getting the shirt off "Finally, you gotta get new clothes dude." he said to Garth who was about to retort before almost getting blasted as they duck in cover.

Seeing how dangerous Star is becoming shouts "Powered up like this, who knows what destruction she'll cause. You have to fight her."

But Green Lantern disagree "No. There's got to be another way." now straining under Stars assault she try to contain her but Star burst out now firing from a heart shape cannon.

Green lantern try to evade though she finds herself close to the guys who is still in cover knowing she can't dodge she instead create a wall to separate them but that was cut down as well.

Hal cover his head before looking back he shout out "You can't stop or trip her you gotta fight back!"

But Green Lantern still refused all while Shoutaro was getting fed up with Hal "This is your fight not hers so why don't you fight her?"

Hal glance back to Star Sapphire before sighing "It's because I can't." getting Shoutaro to look surprise "Because Carol became a Violet Lantern because of me because she likes me and me being a Green Lantern caused her to get that ring but that love is toxic." Hal looked really serious "I mean it poisons the wearer with a strong obsession and since I'm who she loves I can't hurt her, I just make her stronger so the only way to save Carol is to either stop her from loving or get someone else to knock her out so that we can take her ring."

Shoutaro looked at Hal despite his bravado he really cares for Carol but he doesn't want to hurt her he isn't willing to.

But Green Lantern was preoccupied by this as she wants to do the last thing she wants to do "There's no other way." she said straining before pushing the blast aside slightly knocking Star before she regains balance as GL Jess shout out hand construct "I have to hurt you!" but Star fired back blasting the hands pushing it back a bit before the hands broke through and grab Star.

Star bracing herself before realizing nothing hurts still restrained she struggled "What... What are you doing?" before she was pulled in to Green Lantern J embrace still struggling.

Green Lantern Jess kept hold saying "Carol, he doesn't love you." causing Star to deny and cry as she struggled harder but losing more power "I'm sorry. I know it hurts." as GL J comforts Star who now stop struggling before crying in GL J shoulder all while Hal looked sad but hides it because its to save Carol.

As Green Lantern shush her "He doesn't love you." while Shoutaro looked to Hal with some sympathy but stayed silent, As Green Lantern finished consoling her "Listen, Carol, I get it. We all want to be loved, but you can do so much better than Hal Jordan."

Hal looked down but decides to wear his game face as he scoff "Good luck." he knew he sound like a jerk but he needs Carol to let him go.

However Jess oblivious to Hal's true feelings and only knowing him as a jerk she continues "I mean, look at him." now Hal looked confused "His face is way too small for his head." getting him to hold himself from growling but was cut off by a snort from Shoutaro while Garth figuring their is no danger joined looking confused "He's got terrible breath." now Garth is trying to hold back his laughter while Hal looked unamused

Star also agrees to Hal poor oral hygiene "It smells like dog food." now Shoutaro spits out more laughter as Garth joins while Hal is now annoyed thinking he should cut back on those burritos.

"His real name is Harold." as Green Lantern continue the unintentional roast as the boys are laughing at Hal expense who shout out "My name is Hal!", but Jess ignored him "The only book he's ever read, is a playbook."

And Star agrees "I tried to get him to read Pride and Prejudice once, and he asked where the pictures were." recalling that time.

Green Lantern seem to see Star is getting it "See? He's a smelly, freakish, nincompoop." but really this is her opinion on her fellow Lantern.

As Green Lantern finished the insult Shoutaro was doubling over laughing while Garth was wheezing holding Shoutaro for balance all while Hal embarrassed and fed up ask " Uh, Star can you hit her and blast them?"

Green Lantern now finish now wants to help Star be better "Listen, Carol, you'll find the love you need, when you learn to love yourself." but due to Green Lantern still not knowing about the Violet Lanterns made a mistake while Hal looked concern.

At Green Lanterns encouragement Star rose up "Thank you, Green Lantern. I don't think I've ever felt love like this. My blind desire for Hal Jordan kept me from seeing how much love I had inside of me. You're right, if he can't appreciate me, then he isn't good enough for me." as she flew down giving Green Lantern a hug before she eyes Hal who took a step back "So be warned, Hal Jordan, one day, I will make you good enough for me! And then you'll be mine, forever!" before flying away laughing maniacally.

While Green Lantern looked where she flew thinking she might have made things worse "Yeah... That's not really a healthy attitude either."

But Hal walked up to her "Great now she's more powerful and because she has another power source she won't stop, guess she's your problem now." before walking away.

Green Lantern looked surprise "Wait my problem? why am I cleaning your mess?"

While Hal looked at her flatly "Because she's powered by love and since she still likes me and not you I can't hurt her." he said hands on his hip before raising his ring "And I'm afraid remember?"

Green Lantern groaned before Shoutaro walked up and patted her shoulder "Congrats you got yourself an arch-nemesis." he said sarcastically getting equal sarcastic yay from her.

As they left Hal stayed behind looking to where Carol went and Shoutaro walked up behind "Keeps this a secret okay especially from Cruz she doesn't need to know." Hal said before walking saying something which earn a punch from Jess all while Shoutaro sighed before walking to join them.

(Dark alley)

We see a young man in a bowler hat and baggy clothes untucked dress shirt spilling out of shin length pants and slip on shoes he's also wearing a vest and holding a suit case. As he was walking down the alley way whistling a happy tune before he was stopped by some thugs looking unperturbed by the scenario "Hey punk that suit case look nice why don't you hand it over."

The young man lift his head revealing fox like squinty eyes giving him a happy close eye look and with a twisted grin he exclaim "Hello and salutations! might I help you with something maybe a little pick me up for those hard knocked problems mmm?" getting the thugs to get taken aback by the odd youth.

One of the thugs took a step brandishing a knife "Yeah you can help us by giving us that suit case and everything else." he said the others agree chuckling a bit.

But the youth doesn't seem fazed in fact his twisted grin grew "Well looks like some customers wants some samples, well why not you might find something you like"

What came next are the sound of blood curdling screams and gunshots as one thug now on his ass scared shitless at the young man who walked up face shadowed "Who or what are you!?"

As the young man got closer revealing half his face is covered by circuit like markings with one eye glowing "My name dear customer is DEALER and it looks like you have interest in my wares, Now I see you don't have money on you so you can't afford it, BUT maybe we can com to an agreement [DO WE HAVE A DEAL?]" and what followed is the fearful cry of the thug.
