We see a peaceful morning as students meet up with friends while others walked on minding their own business but one was just humming along this was Garth who having a good day greeting any student along the way, though every response were indifferent it still made Garth's day, they responded.
But his good mood ended after bumping into the one person he doesn't want to meet "Would you look at that a brat outside his curfew." Garth stared at Doris and Leslie looking over him.
"Uh, Hi guys, nice morning isn't it?" Garth said nervously before he was raised up by his shirt.
Doris stared smugly at him "Yeah but I think it's better in here." she said she stuffs Garth in the locker much to Garth's dismay looks like routine for him.
As the two were laughing after stuffing Garth in the locker they heard "Excuse me I believe Garth has enough of the locker." Philip said getting their attention.
"Huh? What do you want lady?" Doris said as she looks to Philip while Leslie chuckled at that.
Philip blinked before saying "I'm a guy the last I checked." getting Leslie to laugh at Doris incredulous look.
"Wait your a guy? But you look like a sissy." Doris said getting Leslie to laugh harder "Would you shut up, Leslie."
Philip simply shrugged before making his way to the lockers before shifting to the side revealing Doris trying to grab him "Is there a problem?" Philip asked with a quirk brow.
Leslie saw this but thought nothing of it but Doris wasn't good on restraint "Yeah I put him in there for his own good."
Philip with a raised brow "And how is that?" he asked.
Doris now in his face growling "Because he annoys me." but Philip looked disinterested.
"I see, Then I will take him off your hands then." as he opens the locker to see Garth looking relieved to see him.
Leslie feeling kinda bored decides to surprise this kid as she sent a zap on the locker to snap shut on him, but Philip just shifted back missing him entirely surprising Leslie 'The hell he was in the right spot but he just moved back just as it closed.' Leslie thought in surprise but her thought were cut off by a.
"Ow!" Garth cry as the locker just slam shut and into his face as he groaned rubbing his nose.
Doris laughed at Garth while Philip was staring at the locker in confusion, Leslie looked at Philip before shrugging maybe it's her imagination, Doris got bored and left with Leslie behind her.
As the two bullies left Garth groaned either both for his bruised ego and (probably) broken nose "It's like this everyday I come to school only to be push around." Garth slump down before looking up at Philip "Thanks man you really helped me."
Philip nodded helping Garth up "Let's get to class." Philip said as he walked off.
Garth sighed as he stay behind before slapping his face to psych himself up "No use moping, maybe I already went through the worst today." he said in hope that maybe his day won't be as cruddy.
(Gym class)
"Oh, Come on." Garth laments as he find himself paired up with Doris who was using him as a ball.
Doris tossed him up and down getting him to cry whoa with every toss until she sees the jocks across the field 'This is gonna be fun.' Doris caught Garth who sighed in relief before he find himself in a wind up "Hey! Dorks! Think fast!" Doris shout out before pitching the nerd who was screaming all the way.
Hearing the call and scream Hal looked to see a blur coming their way so he backed up before jump up catching "Little dude?" after landing and letting him down "You ok Garth?" only getting a dizzy groan before he collapse "Uh, guess not."
(Cafeteria)
After getting his lunch Garth made his way to his usual spot with Karen but before he could make it there, the vending machine start to go hay wire and flooding the floor with cans causing Garth to trip and slide down to the other side screaming all the way until "Oof!" he find himself covered in his lunch "Well that wasn't so bad." before noticing the cans start to shake "Oh come on!" before they burst drenching him in sticky sugar liquid getting the whole Cafeteria to laugh at his misfortune.
Leslie peeked behind the vending machine laughing at her pranks success.
(Football club Locker Room)
Garth was collecting the towels humming like usual but as he was walking out someone tripped him letting the towels to fly around groaning as he looked up, and his face paled at seeing the two people he doesn't want to see "Oh come on..." he groaned before he was grabbed.
And was stuff into the locker "There you go see you tomorrow fish boy." Leslie said as Doris slam the locker shut before bashing it in so it would be harder for Garth to get out.
Garth listened as the two bullies laughed as they left, after a while Garth grunts as he tries to get out of the locker but it was really wedged in but with enough effort he finally got out but he really hurt his shoulder "It's been a really cruddy day." he said before walking out of school.
(Metropolis Park)
Garth was sitting by the pond feeding the fishes sighing in depression "Why do they pick on me?" before he got angry as he stands up and throwing his bag of feeds into the pond scaring the fish "What's their problem!" he screamed.
"Well well it sounds like someone who is in need of some of my product." a voice said spooking Garth to turn around to see a bowler hat wearing teen with a twisted grin "Well you're in luck because I have just the thing for your problems." the teen said sounding like one of those snake oil salesmen Garth saw in cartoons.
Garth looked at the teen with distrust "Yeah, whatever your selling I'm not interested." Garth said as he walked away but he stop at what the teen said next.
"Don't you want to push back?" Garth turns to the teen who was giving a wider grin "Don't you want to show them your not to be messed with?" the teen said as he pulled out a deep blue USB stick with a stylized waves forming a O "And you can do that with a low, low price of one DEAL."
Garth looked perplex but after today he wants to push back "Fine, Whats the deal?"
The Teen looked giddy as he chuckled "[Have fun!]" before grabbing Garth's arm pressing the USB Device OCEAN before pushing said device into his arms causing Garth to scream in pain "[And give us a Dopant!]"
(Next day Metropolis)
"Hehehe" Doris chuckled on her way to school "Wonder who I'm gonna play with next? Fish boy is fun but maybe it's Beecher's turn today, huh?" Doris stopped after stepping in a puddle looking up to see clears skies left Doris confused "Did it rain?" before noticing that the puddle is only under her "Huh?[Gasp]" Doris felt like someone grabbed her legs then was dragged under the puddle.
It took awhile before a hand splash out of the puddle scrambling until it grabbed the surface before Doris gasp as she tries to pull herself out until a giant like hand grabbed her and dragged her down.
(Hallway Lockers)
Shoutaro was walking along side Philip, Karen and Babs listening about what happened to Garth yesterday "I really hope Garth is okay." Karen said she's the closest friends to Garth due to them being the closest in age.
"Hey the kid is tough, I'm sure he'll bounce back like nothings happened" Shoutaro said before opening his locker only for water to flood out along with something crashing onto the floor "Eh nani kore? Doris?"
The figure revealed to be indeed Doris who was coughing up water but various cries of surprise caught their attention as almost every locker in the school is not only flooding but continue to pour out "Whats happening?" Babs said seeing this strange phenomenon before hearing a scream.
The group made their way to see Leslie backing away from a shadow "Stay away from me you freak." only to scream as a wave crash into her but before she could sink in she felt a hands grabbed her before she was pulled out by Philip and Shoutaro.
With some effort they both pulled her out of the waters but no before seeing a shadow inside the wave before it recedes into the water "What is going on?" Philip asked.
"I don't know I was waiting for Doris at our usual meet ups but that freak just came out off nowhere!" Leslie said a little panicked due to almost drowning.
Shoutaro looked around before looking to Leslie "You don't have to worry about Doris we found her unconscious but breathing." getting her to sigh but still on edge "But what is that monster and why is it coming after you?" Shoutaro asked in confusion.
"HOW SHOULD I KNOW!" Leslie shouted letting some sparks loose in distress but it was unnoticeable to anyone as their attention is more focused on the now flooded school ground.
"You should get out with the others we'll look for anyone else stuck in school." Philip said as to her before running out to find their friends leaving Leslie alone.
"Whatever, gotta find Doris and pay that freak back." as Leslie zap herself away.
(Infrimary)
As Shoutaro and Philip ran off leaving Doris with Babs and Karen they decided to carry her to the infirmary before more commotion happening as students ran out Babs and Karen looked to each other and nodded before running out.
Once they left Livewire zapped in looking at Doris Livewire rubbed her hands until it starts to glow and with a mischievous grin place on Doris "CLEAR!".
"[Zap!] Yeow!" Doris jumped in shock before looking at Livewire in irritation "What was that for!?" Doris growled.
Livewire doesn't seem bothered "Later, change now it's time for some payback." getting Doris to look confused she shrugged before becoming Giganta "Good lets go." before they made their way out.
(Hallway)
The Teen Titans are moving over the flooded ground trying to find this monster, but they can't find him anywhere "Where is this creature you saw Double?" Wonder Women asked finding the flooded ground hard to move in.
Double looked back "I don't know but I know it was moving in the water somewhere."
Supergirl looked down with an idea "How bout freezing the water maybe that would get this thing out." getting the others to nod.
Supergirl in her excitement to use her cold breath, but as she inhales Double stops her"Lets get to high ground before you go making Popsicle's out off us." getting her to hold her breath as Double, Babs and Diana to get out of the water.
Once out of the water Supergirl blew out freezing the ground as cold vapor covered the hallway and as it cleared shows the once flooded hallway now frozen "Heh not too shabby." Supergirl said before puffing more could breath.
"That. is. so. Cool! Maybe after this we can go to Zatanna's private pool to make it into an ice rink so we can skate and maybe you can make some snow oh oh oh maybe-" Batgirl rambling was cut off by Double.
"Maybe we could find this thing before we talk about early winter." Double said but he heard a groan inside one of the lockers that was closed, sliding over he he found "Garth?" inside.
Garth was shivering but he also seem to be in pain as he curl in agony "Kid hey you okay?" only to gasp as he saw circuit like veins peeking out of his sleeves "What is this?"
The girls were also concern as they try to help them before hearing heavy stomps coming around the corner showing Giganta looking annoyed "Stupid ice, stupid water the next time I see that freak I'm gonna- huh?" before realizing the Titans "Oh it's you losers."
"Giganta!?" the Titans said in alarm but Giganta just looked disinterest as she looked for someone.
It wasn't until something zap in did they realize who Giganta was waiting for "Hey Tweebs Titans good to see you." Livewire said as she sat on Giganta's shoulder.
"What are you two doing here?" Supergirl said as she flew up followed by Green Lantern and Wonder Women.
Livewire didn't look at them as she looks around "We're finding that monster fish thing roaming the place that's what." she said flippantly not caring for the heroes though no one notice Garth twitch abit at the statement.
Wonder Women walked forward albiet awkwardly due to the ice "Then we share the same goal. Perhaps we could work together and reel in this dastardly sea beast." she said getting surprised response from both heroes and villains "I know what I said sounds ludicrous-" "You mean absolutely nuts!" Batgirl cried but Wonder Women just continued "But with your added strengths we can best this creature! What say you?" she extends her hands towards the two who looked at it.
Giganta hummed but slapped the hand away "Not gonna happen, This is our business so you can butt out!" she said before walking away followed by Livewire who shrugged "We're gonna be the ones who find fish freaks so you can all just buzz off!" With her piece said they walked off.
"Well that was a bit uncalled for but not entirely unexpected." Zatanna said before she heard how Garth is moaning in discomfort "We should really get him somewhere safe, he needs to be checked."
Double nodded but before he could stand up to carry him Garth spoke up "Just leave me here." seeing the concern expression on their faces he simply said "You have bigger problems right..?"
The others looked concern but "I'll look after him you girls should try and find the monster." Double said getting the girls to nod.
As the girls left the boys did Double looked to Garth in concern "Something is wrong with you kid, and it's not stomach ache, is it."
Garth looked down in shame as he revealed the strange circuit like veins coming from the mark on his arm getting a gasp from Double who seen that mark before "Where did you get this?" Double asked but before Garth could speak he starts to grunt as his mark starts to glow blue "Kuso! somethings wrong!" Double grabbed one of his Memories to show to Garth "Hey! kid do you have one of these on you!?"
But before Garth could answer his body starts to glow before water gushes out off his body pushing Double down, standing in place of the young boy now stands a giant whale like monster with an entirely black body with white on the chest and shoulders, its head is similar to that of an orca but blue in color as its back is hunched showing a dorsal fin and growing from its back is a whales tail and from its shoulder it has large fin like arms with claws for its digits.
With a low tone squeal not unlike whales it towers over Double who got ready but was surprised by what it did next "Stay out of this!" The Dopant said as it slams into the ice before he liquefied and snicked into the cracks leaving Double alone but not out.
Grabbing his Stagphone he made some calls "Girls we have a problem."
(Biology classroom)
Livewire looks around trying to find the creature while Giganta squeezed herself into the room "Where's that freak?" Livewire wondered before hearing a crash causing her to turn to see "Wow, could you be any louder."
Showing Giganta bumping into the cabinets before looking at Livewire in annoyance "Hey you try being this big in this tiny school." she said a bit frustrated "Why are we here?"
"We're trying to find that fish freak who jumped us remember?" Livewire said not seeing the faucet to twitch as she was looking at Giganta who just quirked her brow.
"Yeah but why are we here." Giganta asked still confused.
Livewire just shrugged "Because it's somewhere." Livewire said mostly she just gone to the closest classroom that didn't have the Titans "Huh? That's weird?" she said seeing the faucets were on as the water came out of the taps.
Giganta just scoffed "Maybe someone just forgot to close it."
"You mean everyone in this room just left the taps running?" Livewire said as indeed that every taps were running but now more violently as the water starts to gush out of the sinks as it starts to flood the floor "Look alive ya lug the freaks here!" as Livewire got ready while Giganta got in a ready stance as well.
They didn't see anything until the Monster jumped out of the water towering over Giganta who was surprise as she threw a punch only to punch into water, as the monster lift its arms before slamming down on Giganta who crashed into the floor.
Livewire waste no time as she blast into the Monster at first it was effective but she also heard Giganta scream in pain forcing Livewire to stop but not before getting blasted by a torrent of water.
The creature towered over them as it raised its arms ready to smash her to a bloody pulp but what she saw next she never expected to happen.
"Heat! Metal! (Rock & roll guitar music to metallic synth)" Double and Supergirl caught the monsters claws and with a few struggle they both pushed it back "So this is the monster?" Supergirl said as she brace for battle.
"That is Gath." Double said as he points his staff at him getting surprise looks from both Livewire and Supergirl while Giganta was shaking off her earlier unintentional shock therapy "What we're seeing is a Dopant but unlike the ones in Fuuto this Dopant's Memory is still in him."
"Memory?" Livewire said as she looks to Giganta who also shrug not understanding what he's talking about.
Supergirl looked shock as she heard that "Wait wait wait, Your saying Gaia Memories can make you into that!?"
Double shook his head "The ones we have are refined so it can't be inserted to create Dopants." Double said but he kept his attention on the Dopant in front of him "From what we're seeing it's safe to say it's water based."
Livewire has no clue what is going on so she just blast the Dopant only for the Dopant to be prepared as it was electrocuted but it showed no effect "What the? I thought it's made of water."
"I just purified my body, pure water doesn't conduct electricity idiot." The Dopant said surprising those close enough "You think I'm going to be just going to be pushed around? Than your gonna find out that nothing pushes harder than a tidal wave!" he declared as he surge forward creating a giant tidal wave going for Livewire.
Only for Giganta to shield her as they brace for the crash only for a grunts of effort to get their attention seeing both Double and Supergirl defending them but they also saw someone in front of them.
"I see this creature is Garth." Wonder Women grunted as she try to push back the tidal wave "But we must save him from this fate."
Double nodded before he raised his right arm as it burst into flame with a roar he punch into the water causing the Dopants to roar in pain.
Seeing this Supergirl inhaled before blowing on her side causing the painful roar to grow.
Having enough the water to surge out like tentacles to slap away the heroes but not before feeling shock on his back turning around we see Batgirl with explosive pellets between her fingers "Whoa what is that?"
"ereh morf yawa owt esoht teg!" a voice echoed as Giganta and Livewire was poofed away "Well that takes care of that." Zatanna said as she floats inside seeing the monster "Now what about you?"
But the Dopants seem to be agitated "YOU, GET OUT OF MY WAY!" before it starts to surge towards Zatanna and Batgirl but they were both pushed out of the way as Double was washed along with the Dopant as it crash in to walls and lockers.
"Double!" both girl said in alarm but Supergirl flew past them as Wonder Women helped them up.
"We must save young Garth before he fully becomes a monster!" Wonder Women said as she ran out to follow the Dopant the other two nodded as they followed.
(Metropolis High Indoor Pool)
A pop followed by surprised cries both Livewire and Giganta fell into the pool before they both broke out of the water and was scrambling toward the sides "Really a [cough] pool?" Livewire said getting out coughing a bit "We couldn't go somewhere more, I don't know dry?" she whined as she try to dry her self.
Giganta climbed out spitting water before shaking off the water like a wet dog "Hey! You mind?" Livewire shout out having being sprayed.
Giganta shrugged "What I'm wet, I need to dry up." she stated.
But before an augment could start they hear crashing sounds are coming closer before the door slams open as torrents of water rushed out before crashing in front off them showing a coughing Double who struggled to his feet looking around and sighing "Saiyaku this could be the worst place for us."
As soon he said that the pool starts to grow up until a mosterist creature looking down at his new prey "What do you get when a Fish Freak fights back?" the mass of water raised its arm before bringing it down "YOU BECOME FISH FOOD!"
The three jumped out of the way but before the monster could try again a cold blizzard freezing his arms in place before it was broken to pieces revealing Supergirl and Wonder Women punching through the ice.
The monster roared as it raised it's other arm but "etaropave!" the arm turned into vapor much to the Dopants frustration as it turned to see Zatanna who smirked at him.
Before the Dopant could do anything else it felt it's back blowing up again then felt itself yanked out by something but it turned into water again slipping through the restraints.
As the Dopant splashed down it saw who dragged him out of his monster shell and it was Green Lantern, Batgirl and Bumblebee.
The Dopant growled but before it could do anything Giganta roared as she try to punch him but the Dopant just grabbed her head encasing her in water causing Giganta to claw at him "You think you can just- Aaaargh" he cried out in pain as Double held his arm as steam burst out as the Dopants dropped Giganta.
While Giganta can catch her breath the Dopant cradles his arm showing his the fin like arm is now shriveled "It seems your power is only strong when your wet." Double said before his Metal shaft starts to heat up "Then lets heat it up."
The Dopant roars as he charge for Double who parried the punch with his staff before bashing him away with an explosion of steam and heat "Green Lantern, Zatanna keep him away from the water." getting nods he turns to "Supergirl heat vision, dry him up, Wonder Women lasso him down."
Green Lantern constructed a wall while Zatanna used a spell to erect a barrier to keep the Dopant out while said Dopant created droplets of water to float before shooting condensed bullet of water towards the girls, only to be shot down by lightning and pieces of rocks, looking back they see Livewire and Giganta standing there "That is for "saving" us, doesn't makes us even." Giganta said.
Before the Dopant could shoot again he was blasted by Supergirls heat vision while Wonder Women restrained him but due to the heat he can't liquefy forcing him to stay solid.
Double seeing him can't get away Double pulled his heat Memory and slot it in his shaft [Heat Maximum Drive] Double's weapon announced as he placed his weapon in front of him as fire burst from his staff and feet as Double starts to move forward slowly "Metal Branding!" Double said as he pick up speed until he skids behinds the Dopant who staggered before exploding leaving behind an unconscious Garth and the USB to drop next to him.
Livewire saw this but was surprised as the device exploded "What was that?" she said while Giganta also wants to know what happened.
"That was a Memory Break it's the only way to stop a Dopant." Double said as he help Garth along with Bumblebee who was scanning for any side effect. "But where did the kid get a Gaia Memory I thought Boss is keeping the Dopants in check?"
Livewire is still confused but looking at the Memory remains got her to suspect about something but she doesn't care right now as she slaps Giganta's arm "Lets get out of here, unless you want to fight us." Livewire said as sparks fly between her fingers as Giganta cracked her knuckles.
Supergirl was also ready to fight but was pulled back by Wonder Women "We do not wish to fight you but we do wish to thank you for saving Zatanna and Green Lantern, so you have our gratitude."
"*Pfft* whatever lets go." Giganta said before both girls left the Titans and the unconscious boy.
Once they left leaving the heroes alone one of them walked over to the broken Memories 'Where did he get this, whose giving these out?' Double thought as he picked the pieces.
(Metropolis High next day)
Garth woken up with no memory of yesterday and had no idea what happened to the school. It looked like a flood just went in the school, so school was canceled so they can clean the school up so Garth was back at the fish pond feeding them "Here you go guys, but it's really weird I don't remember anything after feeding you guys." Garth said as he sat down but after hearing something he replied "But I don't remember some weird guy talking to me but I feel like somethings ...not..adding ...up?" Garth slowed his thoughts as he looked to the fish.
"You can talk!?" but seeing the others looking confused meant they didn't say anything meaning "I can understand you?" the fish looked just as perplex "This. Is. So. COOL!" Garth said but in his excitement also blew the water up seeing this got Garth even more excited "I've got superpowers!"
