(Middle of the Ocean Storm)
We see Diana pulling her sails up but due to how rocky her boat was in the storm made it difficult "By Zeus this is impossible! Have I slighted Poseidon with out knowing!?" Diana said struggling to keep her ship steady until she saw a tidal wave coming to crash down on her "Oh.." was all she could say before the wave crashed.
(Metropolis Beach)
"Hey are you okay." a voice echoed out as Diana groaned once she opened her eyes she met the most beautiful blue eyes she ever laid eyes on "Oh good. your awake." the one said in relief.
Diana just stared dazed until she snaps out of it as she stood up before looking at her rescuer, she see's a young teen with blonde hair and those blue eyes he also wore a short sleeve tanned shirt over a white tank top, tucked in some jeans and brown shoes but most importantly this teen is A BOY.
The boy was surprised when she just stood up but he still looked her over to see if their is anything else wrong "Your sure your okay, you did just washed up on shore."
"Washed up? [gasp] My vessel!" Diana said confused before concern as she looked back seeing her ship fine but no longer seaworthy "At least I have made it to the land of man." Diana said sighing in relief before looking back to the boy who looked confused "I am Diana, princess of Themyscira it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance." Diana said as she held out her hand.
The boy raised a brow but shrugged shaking her hand with a smile "Steven Rockwell Trevor but my friends just call me Steve."
Once Steve grabbed her hand she starts to feel strange as a strong giddiness starts to surface while her face starts to feel hot and she just can't help but giggle uncontrollably.
Seeing this Steve looked concern "Are you really alright?" Seeing Diana starts to daze, with some concern he placed his hand on her forehead getting her to freeze "Doesn't seem like a fever but you never know for sure." he felt a buzz in his pocket pulling out to see a text he turned to Diana still concern "Are you sure your okay?"
Diana in her daze just nodded "[giggle] uh huh." as she watched Steve walked away but once he was gone did Diana snaps out of it "What has just happened?"
(Metropolis High Present day)
Diana stood firm with her eyes closed as she inhales and exhales once she open her eyes she starts her serve showing she is in a volleyball match getting cheers from the bleachers where her friends are cheering for her.
"Calling it now... Lady Hamsters ain't losing a game this season..." Kara said getting a whoo-hoo! from Babs "...with Diana on the team! Boom!" As Diana scored another point.
Jess also hyped up "She's going to crush it tomorrow on the debate team. The other day, the topic was "paper or plastic."Diana shut everyone down with reusable canvas bags! Yeah! Pow!" Diana scored another for the home team.
Karen jumped in "Dudes! She's my science fair partner on Wednesday! We're gonna kill it with some crazy ancient Greek alchemy! Bam!" Diana served another ball before spiking it.
Babs just as excited also jumps on the hype "Ooh! Ooh! And on Thursday, she's gonna lead the marching band into leading the football team to world domination! Kapowee!" As Diana saved the team from the opponents spike.
Zee though not as excited as her friends doesn't fall behind in hype "Oh, yeah? Well, she's gonna bring down the house as Juliet in the spring play on Friday. My directing debut will be an absolute triumph! Ba-ba-ba-boom!" With Diana performing a perfect spike earning the Hamsters more points.
Diana wiped her forehead after dominating the 1st set getting cheers from her school "Go, Diana!" getting her to smile and wave at them.
Kara sat back "Diana's got the week of her life ahead of her. I mean, can anything stop her?" Kara asked rhetorically to her friends who also agree.
As the 2nd set starts the opponents served, Diana seeing a perfect opportunity jumps for it until she heard a door opening, glancing at the sound she found herself dazed at seeing Steve walks in talking to someone before taking a bite of his sandwich he look so perfe- SLAM
Everyone winced and gasp as Diana dropped to the floor as everyone looked shock "What?" Jess said not believing what just happened.
"Way to jinx it, Karen." Kara said getting a surprised "Me?"
What happened next was just mess as Diana being distracted got her either a ball to the face or tripping over nothing which ends up costing them the game.
The girls looked concern for Diana after that whole disaster "So, that happened." Kara said concern before making their way there also finding Shoutaro running up to her.
"What happened? I've never seen Diana lose this bad, if ever now that I think about it." Shoutaro said getting shrugs from the others while Jess starts to poke her hoping to rouse her up.
"Diana? Diana?" Only to get a dazed groan from her the others looked concern.
"Incoming!" until Babs came and dumped the large water jug over Diana splashing her awake.
With a gasp Diana looked around noticing the game is over but not what happened before "What... What happened?"
Babs tossing the jug away answered "You were being totally amazing like usual, and then that boy walked in, and suddenly, you were being totally not amazing!"
Shoutaro looked to Babs pointing to the door "You mean Steve?" getting Babs to shrug due to the fact she doesn't know him.
Diana looked surprised "Steve? Incredibly handsome, alluring, more-beautiful-than-Adonis, Steve?" getting the others to look at her weirdly.
"Uh, yeah, I guess that was him." Karen said finding her description on him to be very flowery.
Diana seemed confused "But why would Steve affect my performance? I barely know him. He's only the first boy I ever saw when I arrived to the World of Man from Themyscira."
Feeling like it will be a classic boy meets girl story the girls huddled together to listen while Shoutaro also interested hang back "Oh, this is gonna be good." Zee said in anticipation.
Diana recalls her first encounter "After a long and arduous journey across the seven seas my vessel was struck by a storm and was capsized, I woke up in the land of man but also helped by Steve Trevor." she smiled when she said his name before returning to her tale "I had only heard the legends... But to see in real life... A boy... Naturally, I offered him my hand in friendship. It was quite congenial." she start to giggle a bit at the memory but quickly snaps out of it "It is no large deal."
"Uh Diana, it's no Big deal." Shoutaro corrected
Diana just pointed at Shoutaro "Yes. That."
Before more can be said someone opened the door "Hey, Diana. I thought that was you in the game. Great to see you again." Steve said as he made his way to them before turning to Shoutaro "Hey Shoutaro you just rushed off all a sudden but I guess your just catching up." he said smiling before waving at the girls "Hi." getting the girls to wave back awkwardly while Diana is giggling bashfully.
Shoutaro walked over to Steve "Yeah, sorry about that, but hey even if you didn't get in that military academy you wanted doesn't mean you can't try next year right." Shoutaro said fist bumping him.
Steve happily returns it "[chuckle] Yeah you're right bud and hey that means I'll be right here at Metropolis High with all of you! [chuckles] Go Hamsters!"
"[giggles] Hamsters!" Diana said giggly.
"Go Hamsters." the Girls said awkwardly as they never seen Diana act this weird.
Steve just chuckles "Well, I better be off. Lots of extracurriculars to check out. See you later!" he said as he left before popping back "Oh, great game, Diana." before finally leaving.
"[giggling] Your game is- okay, Steve, bye. [stuttering] Okay, later, 'k? I don't know. Whatever." Diana said as she backs away until she swoon onto the net...Before she was flung forward slamming into the table catapulting the water jug into some balls that bounced around the gym Diana looked up then panicked "Wait, oh, I'm sorry. Oh, oh! Oh, no!" as she chased after the balls.
As the other witness this Zee sums up their thoughts "This is not good."
Jess starts to fret "The Amazons prepared her for everything. Except talking to boys."
"Kinda hard to do if there was no boys to prepare for." Shoutaro said.
"I remember my first crush. It was brutal." Karen just slumped while Shoutaro just pats her head due to Philip knowing who and who he slip it to thankfully Shoutaro was more tight lipped.
Babs looked at the struggling Diana before gasping "Do you know what this means? Steve Trevor is Diana's Kryptonite." she said dramatically.
Kara remembering last week interrupts "Hey, guys, let's get one thing straight: Kryptonite is Kryptonite. It's extremely painful, and awful." Kara said with a shudder gaining some sympathetic looks from her friends, shaking the horrible feeling away she continues "and that dude is not Kryptonite. Besides, this is Diana Prince we're talking about. She can handle anything." she said but she did wince after hearing Diana trip.
(Next day School Auditorium)
"And so, just as a battalion of warriors must approach an enemy encampment via an over-ground pass, so, too, must toilet paper hang in the over position. Thank you." Diana gave a rousing argument that was met with cheers of approval.
Making her way back to Jess who is stoked about winning another debate "Got this in the reusable bag, suckas!" Jess brags but a gasp got her attention turning to see Diana in a daze again looking where she was looking at did she seem concern.
Walking up to the podium with a confused look was Steve who looked around awkwardly "Well, gee, I guess I don't really have strong opinions on how you hang your toilet paper. If you're an "over" kind of guy, who am I to judge? But if you're an "under" dude, well, you know, that's okay, too." he said not really caring one way or the other, but since the other guys can't come up with a counter argument just grabbed him and push him out there.
Of course after hearing such a passive response lead to some awkward coughs and silence...but what was unexpected was a clapping sound followed by a giggle getting the others attention to Diana dazed "Oh, Steve, I have never heard such eloquence. You're so smart. Is he not smart, everyone?" only getting weird looks after seeing the famous miss perfect making a fool out of herself "I concede." getting shocked looks while Jess just silently scream.
Steve just scratch his head 'I won? cool.' he as he shrugged.
(Next Day Science Fair)
"It was noble Hemera, goddess of the daytime, who bestowed the Philosopher's Stone upon my people. We honor the shining light of her sun by transforming the base metal of our armor into pure, shimmering gold." Diana regaled the process on how the amazons made their steels and iron to shine like gold.
Karen absolutely enthralled by the process cheers "This is incredible! With your knowledge of ancient chemical processes, we'e totally gonna win!" though the process starts to overflow as Diana just kept pouring the vial "Uh, Diana?" Karen said until seeing her expression looking behind her she sees Steve who walked in with a basic potato battery, Karen looked concern as she waved her hands in front of her face trying to get her attention "Uh, Diana." Karen kept trying until seeing the vile Diana was holding starts to shake and bubble "DIAN-" POOF
As other students ran out of the fair gasping and coughing leaving behind both Karen and Diana the latter giggling in her daze while the former sighed at what happened.
(Metropolis Track and Field)
The crowd cheers as the marching band goes through the routine Diana who was leading the band twirled her baton throwing it up before catching it perfectly but also catching something that stops her, Babs who was just behind her wondered why she stop before seeing Steve riding his bike delivering papers, Babs looked concern as she looked back to Diana who starts to march after Steve, with the band following along as Babs watched the most ridiculous marching band to date.
(Metropolis Auditorium Theater club)
Diana stood in the spotlight looking longingly wearing a pink renaissance dress and flowers in her hair giving her a more elegant look "O, Romeo, Romeo! Wherefore art thou, Romeo!" Diana recited as she performed for the audience.
Back stage Zee wearing a directer outfit looked proud "She's amazing." Zee said while Diana continues her award winning performance "This play is amazing." she said as she feels like she has out done herself and if she were to toot her own horn "I'm amazing!" she would do it happily... until Karen who was assisting whispered something in her ear "What? But he's supposed to be on stage right now!" she said exasperated until hearing.
"Unacceptable!" turning around to see a blond teen with a goatee wearing a blue poofy Romeo costume looking displeased "You call these pantaloons? If I cannot play an authentic Romeo, I shall play none at all!" the drama teen walked off with a huff. (Huff I say. Huff)
Zee looked annoyed but not lost "Who needs you, anyway? I've got Diana. And an understudy. Garth? Garth, where are you?" Zee said as she and Karen looked around for him before hearing a voice they wish they didn't.
"Garth is sick." Steve said as he puts on the hat not seeing the two's horrified expression "So he called me to fill in." he chuckled before bowing before them "Under-understudy Steve Trevor reporting for duty." before whistling his way to the stage.
Both girls just looked in horror "Remind me to banish Garth to the 27th dimension." Zee said with a threateningly tone, Karen nods feeling like it was his fault for what is about to happen.
Diana performance has grabbed the audience as she plays out her roll perfectly "Romeo, doff thy name, and for that name, which is no part of thee, take all myself." but a squeaky foot steps grabbed her attention looking down she stood still seeing Steve dressed like a prince who was both gallant and beautiful.
Steve had skimmed through the parts so doesn't know his lines really but he was doing this for his buddy so he might as well do his best at it "Um, I take thee at thy word. Call me but love..." 'what was the next line?' he thought as he clumsily performed the play.
The audience who was once immersed was suddenly pulled out by the awkward Romeo, Shoutaro just sighed as he rubbed his face "This is just sad to watch now." getting nods of agreement from the others.
Steve tried his best to recall as much lines he can as he made his way to the ladder "With love's light wings did I o'erperch these walls.." he said as he starts to climb before just pulling out the script seemingly giving up trying to remember as he now read awkwardly as he climb "..for stony limits cannot hold love what love can do, that dares love attempt." after making his way to Diana he saw the next scene blushing a bit he turns to Diana "Uh, I think we're supposed to kiss now." he softly said a bit embarrassed before he closed his eyes and puckered his lips for a kiss.
Diana now overwhelmed not only by Steve being so close for so long but seeing him asking for a ki- she blacked out as she leans forward causing the entire set to collapse on them getting a surprise oof from Steve.
The audience just stared perplexed by the sudden twist how did something begin so good ended with. that. "Look on the bright side. At least this week is over." Jess said trying to look at the positives.
(Saturday Finally)
While the girls have their day off on Saturday by watching some chick flicks, Shoutaro was hanging out with Steve at the mall who was looking at [Every shade of Beige] where they have every clothes in beige "You really like beige don't you Steve?" before seeing the girls stopping behind Steve "Yo, what's-" before they left pushing Diana who was buying some pretzels, away "-going on?"
"Mm? What do you mean?" before turning around but shrugging afterwards "Hey can we go to the library gotta get some history materials."
Shoutaro shrugged "Sure let's go."
(Library)
Shoutaro was reading some mystery novel before hearing "Darling? what are you doing here?" looking up to see Zee.
"Me and Steve ca-" Shoutaro said before Zee with a panicked look cuts in.
"Steve is here?!" Zee said before running of to the others to find Diana.
Shoutaro just quirked a brow before Steve came back "Found what your looking for?" Steve nodded as he lifts up a book.
(Mall)
After getting the book they walked around until Steve looked at a camera with some interest as he start playing around it as he wave at himself unintentionally putting his face on the monitor display behind him, Shoutaro seeing this takes the camera away "Maybe you shouldjust buy this and do it at home?"
"Hey, that's a great idea maybe we can take it to the pier and record with it?" Steve said excited Shoutaro just shrugged as they went to buy it before heading toward the pier.
(At the Pier)
Both Shoutaro and Steve walked around filming things along the way, mostly is just one or the two playing some games or on some rides much to Shoutaro's chagrin, as they made it to the roller coaster did Shoutaro see the girls who looked panicked as they dragged Diana out of the park "Okay sorry Steve but I gotta go talk to my friends."
"It's cool sorry that the other guys aren't around to make this all that fun." Steve said smiling before pulling out the camera "And I got this cool camera so I'm gonna find something to film."
Shoutaro nodded before walking away "Maybe next time the guys won't be as busy, see ya."
(With the Girls)
Diana doesn't know why but every corner she looks she sees Steve smiling friendly at her and she was unsure if she was dreaming or he was everywhere.
The others on the other hand just watched Diana babbles about cute smiles or something "Incoming!" Babs shouts out as she dumps water on her hoping it would work again. Nothing.
Karen looked concern for her friend "Is this how she's gonna be from now on?"
Babs throwing the bucket away shrugs "I don't know. Hey, Kara..." getting her attention "Is this what happens to Kryptonians, when they're repeatedly overexposed to-"
"Gah! Stop with the Kryptonite, already!" Kara yelled at Babs who was wants too curious about Kryptonite lately. Kara made her way to Diana who was babbling about Ice creams this time "Come on, lady, snap out of it! You can't let some boy do this to you! You're an Amazon warrior. You're Wonder Woman! You're literally a symbol of female empowerment!" Kara shook Diana before slapping her face to get her to snap out of it.
Jess pulled Diana away before Kara could continue "Leave her alone, Kara! Poor Diana is entitled to her feelings. This crush is natural and normal. And she'll deal with it on her own time, and in her own way." she cooed her as if comforting Diana.
Diana still in dream land just giggled "That's crazy, Steve. I like vanilla, too." getting Jess to put her back in her seat as she backed away like the others.
Babs pondered if Steve causes Diana to trip up than we need to take Steve out of the equation "Or, we could just take out Steve Trevor." she suggested getting the others to agree.
"Let's take him out." Karen said as she punch her palm.
"Let's take who out?" Shoutaro said as he just walked in before looking at Diana "Yeesh Diana you should get some rest."
Babs looked to Shoutaro and said "We're just gonna take out Steve so Diana won't trip herself and get distracted."
Shoutaro just blinked before he pinch his nose "Look I get that your trying to do whats best for her but this is something Diana has to sort out herself, and we shouldn't butt our way in, we should support her until she resolve her problem not taking her away from it." before making his way to Diana and lifting her up "I'm gonna put her in the spare bed so she can at least get some rest."
Just as he left to put Diana to bed Babs look to the others "So? whose in." getting the girls to smirk.
(Sunday)
Steve is strolling down the road whistling a tune making his way unaware of the girls setting up an ambush just as the girls move in for the attack a ringing stopped them Steve confused pulled out his phone "Hello? Jeepers, I got into the Military Academy after all? Neato! How about that?" Steve hang up as went on his way.
The girls land confused on what happened only to hear tapping noises, turning to the noise they saw Batgirl typing on her Bat lap top, finding eyes on her she looked up to see them staring at her "What? I took him out. By hacking into the Military Academy and getting him accepted. What were you guys gonna do?"
The others avoided eye contact with her as they try and make some excuse Batgirl just shrugged "Well we're done here lets get some Ice cream."
(Monday Volleyball rematch)
Diana is demolishing the game winning 52 - 0 getting cheers once after some celebration the girls waited for Diana in the locker room "Thank goodness we don't have to worry about that Steve Trevor guy anymore." Kara said in relief.
"You mean Steve Kryptonite?" Babs said teasingly.
Kara looked annoyed now "Let me explain this to you one more time. It's simple. Kryptonite is from the planet Krypton!"
Zee peeked over to Diana who was putting her things away "Come on, Diana, hurry up."
Diana looked back at them "I am nearly ready." before turning to the poster of Steve Trevor on her locker with a sigh she traced her finger on the picture "Till we meet again Steve." as she closed the locker.
(Principle Office)
Principle Waller looked annoyed as she came back to her school 'Unruly, unpredictable and more than they can handle and now they left her at my feet.' Waller thought as she looked at her files it wasn't long ago she has to take a student off another school just cause she kept sneaking into her school, so she just took her in, she sighed before throwing the file down showing a single name [Harleen] "Why does my school keeps attracting more weirdos?" she said before walking away "Well one of them have behaved herself after a week maybe this one won't be so bad." not realizing she just jinxed herself.
