"Pity your diary excerpts were damaged," Kagome distracted herself, peeling away a bloodied page, reading the date. "This one's from 200 years ago. Says you ate a farmer's pig and then slept in his haystack. Wow, what a brave adventurer."
"Not a diary- and I thought I asked you not to read them," he continued cleaning, binning some pages without care.
"Hey! here's my name."
He froze.
"It says; 'The miko joined me beneath the tree. Kagome's wet clothes stuck to'-" pale cheeks turned red "-'her chest enticingly.' Is this the thunderstorm?"
"Drop that."
