Andy woke up and finds himself all alone in the Plantar household . "Anne? Hop-Pop? Sprig? Polly? Lily?!" He called out as he looked around the house, but he doesn't hear an answer. But then he sees an orb of light that switches from blue, green, pink and purple. Andy walks towards the light but it floats away.
Andy follows the orb of light and exits the house. Andy followed the orb of the light from Wartwood into the woods, as he walked through the woods he began to see the ruins of what looks like a temple. Then he sees Hanzo, Anne, Sasha, Marcy, Sprig, Polly, Hop-Pop and Lily standing there.
"Master? What are you doing here? With my sister and friends?" Andy asked.
Hanzo didn't say anything he gestured to his friends and they begin to glow into orbs of lights and seven rings are floating right in front of him. The rings were silver with a different color in the middle, red, blue, green, yellow, black, sky blue, and white.
Andy walks up to the rings and was about to touch it, until he hears someone calling his name. "Andy!"
Andy wakes up and sees Hop-Pop shaking him. "Hop-Pop? What are you doing?!" Andy asked while groaning as he got up from bed.
"Waking you up. If you and Lily are going to live here, you're going to help us around the farm." Hop-Pop said.
"I'll get right on it." Andy said.
Later that day, Andy and Lily were pulling weeds out of the fields. "You know when I wanted to explore Amphibia, doing farm work wasn't what I had in mind." Lily sighed.
"Yeah I know." Andy said as he pulled a weed out of the ground. "I hate doing farm work too, but we're not staying here rent free. Besides we had to do chores while staying at the monastery."
"Yeah, but I rather scrub the floors than pulling out weeds." said Lily.
"I fully agree." Andy said. "Hey Lily, I had this dream last night and you were there, along with Anne, Sprig, Polly, Sasha and Marcy."
Then a giant bug with a light brown abdomen lined with black striped and a bright chestnut shaded shell which encases its short wings. The bug also has long incisor-like mandibles and small pale yellow eyes which sit at the side of its head, pops out of the ground startling Andy and Lily. Then Anne shows up and smacks the giant bug with her tennis racket and it gets squashed on impact by a tree.
"Nice shot Anne." Sprig said as he hopped right in.
"Andy you need to watch for burrow bugs, they're not like the bugs back home." Anne said as she helped Andy up.
"Sorry Anne, I was telling Lily about this dream I had last night." Andy said.
"Dream?" Anne asked.
"You guys were too, even Polly, Sasha and Marcy. Even my Master Hanzo." Andy said.
"Master Hanzo was there too?" Lily asked.
"I was in your dream!?" Polly exclaimed.
"Yeah, he was there and you guys turned into seven different colored rings." Andy said.
"Andy, you didn't drink or any weird mushrooms when you got here did you?" Anne asked concerned about her twin brother.
"No, but Master Hanzo taught me and Lily which mushrooms are safe to eat or not." Andy replied. "He show me you guys and then Hop-Pop woke me from the dream."
"Different colored rings?" Anne questioned. "Like that Green Lantern?"
"Well the rings were big like the ones in the Sonic games." Andy replied.
"Who's this Sonic?" Lily asked.
"I'll explain later." Andy replied.
"Seven rings you say." A voice is heard. The five kids looked behind them and they see a light blue frog with a lighter shaded underbelly around Sprig and Lily's height. Her hair is a light pink with dark pink spots and bulbous in appearance with a small knot on her head, making it look like a mushroom cap. It covers one of her eyes, but the one that is visible is big and yellow with black, slit pupils similar to that of a snake. She wears very little; just a black sack dress with a brown rope for a belt and is barefoot.
They all scream at the sight of the creepy frog. "Hey Sprig." She said.
"Oh hey Maddie." Sprig said with some fear in his voice.
"I heard that you mentioned seven different colored rings and I know what you're talking about." Maddie said as she pulled out a big book and opened up the book to show a page with the seven rings.
"That's them!" Andy pointed out as he pointed his finger on the page.
"Those are the elemental rings. Legend say those rings created Amphibia from the ground up even life itself." Maddie said. "Each ring controls an element. Fire, air, water, earth, lightning, plant life, and ice. After Amphibia was created the Frogs, Toads, Newts and Salamanders built a temple to keep the rings safe until a chooses one arrives." Maddie explained.
"A chosen one?" Anne asked.
"Your brother had a dream about the seven rings and they're right here in the valley." Maddie explained.
"I thought it would be a series of dreams?" Andy asked.
"Well that too." Maddie said. "Anyway I have the map for the temple of the seven elemental rings." Maddie than showed everyone a map to the temple.
Andy and Anne both took out their phones and snapped a picture of the map. "Wow you two are twins." Polly said.
"You're going to need me for this." Maddie said.
"Why should you join us?" Anne asked.
"I have the information you need to reach the temple and the temple itself." Maddie said. "That and I need to discuss my wedding plans with Sprig."
"Wedding plans?" Andy asked.
"Long story short, Sprig had to be engaged to Maddie to get some dough to make pizza for a pot luck." Anne explained.
"That's the oddest thing I ever heard in my life." Andy said.
"Come on guys! Let's go on a adventure!" Polly shouted.
"Yeah!" The teens and frogs cheered and walked away to find the temple.
The gang all walked through the woods, when they reached the swamp Sprig, Lily, Maddie and Polly swam through the swamp while Anne and Andy went around the swamp. They continued to walk through the woods and then they reached the outside of the temple.
"So this is the temple of the elements?" Anne asked where the group sees an old temple with moss and vines covering most of it. "I'm not gonna lie I was excerpting more well built.
"Time has not been kind to this place." Maddie said.
The group walked towards the temple, well Polly just hopped towards the temple. Lily walked up to Maddie to talk to her. "You really know your magical artifacts." Lily said.
"Thanks, I've been interested in the dark arts and magic." Maddie said. "I'm even practicing to be a witch."
"Cool, I always had an interest for magic too." Lily said. "I always read some old books about magic and I always wanted to study magic ever since I was a pollywog."
"Here's an idea maybe I can teach you some magic spells when this is over?" Maddie said.
"I like that idea." Lily replied.
Andy looked back and sees that Lily and Maddie getting along. "Looks like Lily made a new friend." Andy said to Anne.
"Really with Maddie?" Anne asked. "You better make sure Lily doesn't end up looking like Maddie."
"I'm sure she'll be fine." said Andy as they entered the threshold of the temple but he raised his arm to stop the group.
"What gives boy Anne?!" Polly shouted.
"There could be traps here." Andy said.
"Have you been to temples like this?" Sprig asked.
"No, but I do watch movies and read comic books about these things." Andy said as he narrowed his eyes.
"Andy, I doubt there any traps here." Anne said as she steps inside the temple. "See no traps."
The gang walk on in and they see each of the different coloured rings each on pedestal with a banner above them with a symbol of which element is control.
A flame for the red ring.
A water droplet for the blue ring.
A mountain for the black ring
A gust of wind for the sky blue ring.
A thunderbolt for the yellow ring.
A tree for the green ring.
A glacier for the white ring.
"Those are the rings?" Andy asked. "Honestly I thought they would be shattered all acrossed Amphibia.
"Yeah I think that makes more sense than keeping them all in one location." Maddie said.
"Maybe they hate to break up a set?" Sprig shrugged.
Andy slowly approached the rings and as he did the rings began to glow and float up in the air. "Is this normal?!" Sprig asked Maddie.
"I don't know?!" Maddie shouted back. "The book never mentioned any of this!"
The elemental rings then flew towards Andy and slid on his arms with ease, the red, blue, sky blue and black rings went around his right wrist, and the green, white, and yellow rings went around his left wrist as the seven rings spaced out an inch apart as Andy's eyes flashed purple.
"What the heck?!" Andy exclaimed.
"The rings have attached themselves to you." Maddie said.
"Yeah, I noticed!" Andy panicked as he looked at the rings on his arms as the rings glowed. "What do I now!?"
"I don't know!?" Anne exclaimed.
Then the rings stopped glowing and faded in dull colors. "Is that normal?" Sprig asked.
"I don't know?" Andy replied.
"Give it a test and see what happens." Lily suggested.
"Good idea." Andy agreed and held out his hands. "Flame on!" He shouted but nothing happened.
"That was disappointing." Polly said.
"Shazam!" Andy shouted and raised his left arm and nothing happened.
"I thought you would control the elements?" Lily asked.
"I guess I need to learn." Andy said.
"You will learn Andy." The gang all looked and they see Hanzo who said that.
"Master Hanzo?!" Lily and Andy gasped and they both bowed to their master.
"Your master is a Toad?!" Sprig said as Hanzo walked towards them.
"You have found the elemental rings Andy, but you cannot use all of them right away." said Hanzo. "You need to learn how to use each of them, like the first wielders of the rings." Hanzo said as he handed Andy an ancient brown book with the seven rings on the cover. "This was written by the masters themselves, you will learn from them. Every pose, every move everything."
"You had this with you this whole time?" Andy asked.
"To keep it safe until the rings were found." Hanzo said, then he looked at Lily. "Lily my dear. I have raised your since you were a pollywog, you will learn your origins and your family."
"Really, I can learn who my family is?" Lily asked as Hanzo nodded and then he walked towards Anne.
"As for you. Your brother has told me a lot about you. There is some potential within you. There will come a time when you will unlock it." Hanzo said.
"You really think so?" Anne asked.
"I believe so. Along with your little frog friend." Hanzo replied.
"Really?! What is it?" Sprig asked.
"That is for you to find out." Hanzo said as he began to exit the temple. "Farewell." Hanzo bowed and exited the temple.
"Hey what about me?!" Polly shouted as he hopped towards the exit, but she doesn't see Hanzo anywhere. "Where did he go?"
"What did he mean by unlocking my potential?" Anne asked.
"I have no idea Anne. But we'll find out together." Andy said as he looked at the book.
Later that night, Andy, Anne, Sprig and Polly are back home, Andy is reading the book his master gave him, until Anne walked downstairs where Andy closed the book. "Wow you never studied that hard in school." Anne said.
"I'm only reading one chapter. I'm going to try and practice stances tomorrow." Andy said.
"Just try not to hurt Marcy or Sasha with your new powers." Anne said.
"I make no promises." Andy said as he placed the book away and crawled into bed. "Good night." Andy said as he went to sleep.
"Good night, bro." Anne said as she went to bed.
A/N: Ok first off I was inspired by the trailer to Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten rings, but I made seven rings and used elements. Second I will not make Andy too OP. He'll learn how to use the elemental rings the hard way. Third I'm sorry there was no giant bug attacking the group. I couldn't think of one. Please read, review and stay safe.
