Everyone! You are the superstar! You're the best! Thank you so much for leaving such encouragement and positive words to this fic! There are so many people making speculations about the character already, I'm amazed! Thank you, thank you, thank you, y'all!

Lemme just say it wasn't easy to build it as MCU style, and their styles are always surprising and lots of new characters joining, which is why to make it the traditional MCU style is quite difficult. I had to read the original Marvel synopsis and characters to have a picture of where the multiverse is going and what it means for our love birds.

I tried to stick to how the characters are made by Stan Lee and how I'd think Kevin Feige would've wanted it, but a mix with my style. Hope it works!

Neither less, here is a small gift from me to y'all. I was scheduling it for Wednesday like the Loki series, but seeing how people are responding enthusiastically made me want to write the new chapter soon.

So, here you go! Enjoy!

The magicians here are mean and boring, Billy thought. This is definitely not a place for kids, nor is the quarters of the Avengers. The mentors here don't seem to be able to train him and his brother according to their abilities, they all look so serious it scares him. Every time they didn't do something right, they'd shake their heads and sighed. And that disappoints them even more.

Even the books here are so boring. Why can't they just upload them on Youtube or something? Their English is so hard to understand, it's like old English, and why must they learn about the history of magic? And mystic arts? What are those? All he knows is the powers he was taught a little by his mom.

And Mom didn't look like she knows all this stuff and she can still fight these wizards, and maybe she's even stronger than all of them.

Mom insisted to train with them, said that it'll help them prepare should people as Agatha comes again. With this multiverse going on, and there are so many unanswered questions on how they were able to end up in another time, it's best to be prepared. One of the many people called Kang could appear, and maybe he'd have an army.

He really believed that Mom could be right, at this point, anything could happen now. It's better that they know how to fight rather than falling into the wrong hands.

And Billy had accidentally seen Mom's nightmares. He felt what she felt when Uncle Pietro died, and when she was locked up in that cell. It felt so real, it scares him. That was how he knows why Mom is fighting.

Then there was this….. monster. A big purple Titan. He killed Dad. Mom couldn't defend Dad as well, and she was badly hurt because of this….Thanos. And then Agatha, she was hurting Mom so badly it hurts…. The thought of seeing them makes him shiver.

And that mysterious figure that appeared during their last battle that it seems only he and Tommy saw…. But mostly, he was talking to just him, not his brother. He was threatening him before he disappeared.

That was why he wanted to become stronger like Mom. He had told Tommy what he saw, and he became equally as nervous as him. This was why they both agreed to be trained however they can.

But…..these people are boring. Really boring and they can't seem to understand what they are trying to teach, and he and Tommy aren't learning anything.

Spiritual what? Dimensions? Mystics? This is so not what they used to do with Mom and Dad. Mom had been with Dr. Strange a lot lately, they seem to find some clues about this Kang guy, and she's been meeting the Avengers and some agents a lot. So, she can't train them.

"What a joke," Tommy mumbled as he kicked a pebble out of his way, "This sucks."

"Yea," Billy agreed, he looked down at his hands and sees his blue magic radiating in him, "I don't think what I have is the same as what they have."

"You think? I don't even know what they are talking about one bit!" his brother complained, "I don't even have what you all have. I shouldn't even be training with them. Besides, I'm faster than them."

"Totally, you'd kick their butts before they could even cast anything on you."

"We totally rocked back when we fought with Mom and Dad," Tommy giggled, "If these magicians saw it, they'll think that we don't need these boring lessons at all."

"Yea, if only," Billy sighed, thankfully today, the magicians seemed to be needed elsewhere, so they are on their own. The training grounds are quite empty now, so they can say whatever they want too.

At least, that's what he thought.

While he's pacing around with Tommy, he heard two people talking in the corner where they put their weapons to train. Billy looked ahead to see who is still there.

It's Wong and Loki. They both seem to be examining the spears and swords.

Tommy saw them too, then his face lit up, "Hey, Billy," he whispered to him, "What if we give them a surprise?"

"Huh?"

"You know, to show them our powers without training!" he softly whispered excitedly, "If we can show them how powerful we are, they'll think that we don't need these stupid training and lessons."

"Hmm, I like that," Billy agreed and looked back at the two men talking to each other. Wong seemed to be finished speaking to Loki, and he is slowly leaving. Loki, on the other hand, is still looking at the weapons he picked up, checking the swords and daggers. So, it's only him as their target, "So, what do we do?"

"How about if I steal his sword?" Tommy grinned, "Then we can both run away."

Billy lit up to the idea, "Like the time we did with Uncle Pietro?"

"Yea!"

"Okay!" Billy nodded enthusiastically.

"Alright, watch this," Tommy turned back and saw that Loki is still checking on the other swords and spears, he didn't seem to know that they are here. Perfect!

With a blink of an eye, Tommy zooms to him. Billy really thought that his brother did it, and he was ready to make a run for it with Tommy.

Only to find his brother tumbling to the ground, rolling off to a stop on his back. He didn't even seem to take anything on his hand.

The green magician still stands where he stood, unfazed and it didn't even look like Tommy had touched him. Billy suddenly felt nervous, no one has ever caught him aside from his mother and him. He ran to his brother, "Tommy!"

His brother groaned on the ground as he helped him up, "Did I get it?"

"If you wish to kill something," the voice of the brother of Thor startled them making them turn to him, Loki swung his sword, not looking at them, "You might want to stay downwind," then his sword disappeared like a mist.

Billy gulped, he had met the brother of Thor before, but suddenly he felt nervous as he looked down at them, "Sorry, Mr. Loki. We're just leaving….."

"With a weapon?" with a flick of his wrist, a dagger appeared in his hand, looking at them unimpressed, "My apologies, but these aren't for children."

"I'm no children," Tommy blurted, "I'm going to be an Avengers like Mom and Dad."

"Hmm, charming," Loki said, still looking unimpressed to that fact, "Well forgive me for not leaping for joy, bad back, you know," his green eyes looked past them and when the twins turned, Wong is back with a bigger steel sword, "Go back to where you came from, you two. I don't babysit."

Tommy looked like he wanted to say something, but Billy tugged his shirt, not wanting to get into any trouble, "Come on, Tommy."

"I almost had him," he mumbled as he followed him.

As the twins turned to leave him, Wong came back, "You know, Loki. We sorcerers only used swords as practice before our magics, you are clearly good with yours, both in fact. Why do you still need one?"

"You can't just rely on magic, you know. Spiritual alone is not going to help you in battle, and I'm certain your Strange friend knew this," Loki chastised, "Besides, I lost to Thanos with my own magic, so it's best I improvise."

This made both twins stopped in their tracks. The twins turned back to see Loki and Wong facing each other, thankfully they weren't far ahead to listen to what he just said. They looked at each other, Tommy seemed to be thinking the same way as him, and they both looked at Loki and Wong again.

"But it's how we defend ourselves, we must channel our soul and the mystics surrounding us," Wong argued as he handed over the sword

"Ahh, you are a traditionalist, I see," Loki smirked, and took the sword, "But as you can see, I'm well known for other things than spirits and mystics, although I do like your mystic strength, I'll give you that. So how about you do you, and I do me. Shall that suffice?"

"Suit yourself," Wong said, he backed away a little and he readied his battle stance. He flexed his hands and arms, and summoned something circle on his hand, "Same rule?"

"Yep, checkmate, and game over," Loki didn't even look like he's preparing anything. He swung his sword around and made it disappear. He is now unarmed! What is he thinking? "After you."

Wong nodded, he raised his arms, and the circular stuff on his hands floated to his arms and readied his stance like a boxer would. The two stared at each other for a while, and then Wong lunged, readied his fist to hit his head at Loki.

But Loki easily dodged the attack, disappearing before him and appeared again behind him. Wong was prepared for his tricks, as he turned around, he threw his arms forward, and threw a huge beam of light that formed into a whip from his circular rings and whipped at him. The whip magic was aiming at Loki!

But Loki didn't even look surprised, he swiftly raised his hand and summoned the levitating sword he was just given from Wong, and the whip caught the blade instead. But that's not all, the sword was holding the whip off, not letting it return to him. Loki blinked as if amused, "Now this is why I need this particular sword."

Wong sneered, he pulled his whip back and whipped at him again. Loki dodged the attacked and swerved right, then he summoned shields in front of him. All levitating into stairs that circulate the sorcerer. The God of Mischief leaped from one levitating shield to another, dodging all the whip attacks. From above, he summoned not only one sword but four daggers and two spears, all levitating around him. He leaped up into the air as if he was flying. Then, he shoots his arms forward, and all his weapons followed his command and charged towards Wong.

The sorcerer quickly transformed his whip into a circular portal, the weapons disappeared into it and appeared behind Loki. The God of Asgard noticed the counterattack and he vanished into thin air, and reappeared at the ground, looking untouched. Loki spreads his arms mischievously, "Tada."

"Impressive," Wong said with amusement.

"Oh, it's not over yet," he grinned, he waved his hand again and summoned his green magic. But the green color slowly turned a little orange as it mixed with green, making him look like he's using their powers but not really. The orange and green mist then turned into sharp-looking weapons, the opposite of what Wong has. The magic green and orange blades float around him.

Billy looks astounded by this, he turned to his brother who looks equally impressed. Loki was using both magic and weapons to fight him! None of them had ever seen this before! The twins turned back again to watch the fight.

Loki side steps swiftly, summoning a thin line on-air that aims towards Wong and he leaped on it, and he slides down the line as if he's riding a skateboard. Then, he threw his arm forward and the blades shot right into his face.

Wong dodged right, avoiding the attack. But at that expense, he was kneeling on the ground and as he was about to get up, he came face to face with the tip of the sword he just gave to Loki. The God of Mischief had his palms up facing him as if ready to attack should he make any sudden move, he was looking at him with triumph but didn't look like it's insulting him, "How's that?"

The sorcerer smirked, "You've grown stronger since the last I saw you."

"Still learning," he grinned, he snapped his fingers and the sword disappeared. Then he gripped Wong's hand and lifted him up to his feet, "Got a lot of lessons thanks to you."

"Were you sparring to test a theory or to prove me wrong?" Wong asked sarcastically.

"Perhaps a bit of both," he said, "After all, this is an improvised set of skills I learned from your kind, and trust me, I'm not going to be a sorcerer like you all. I prefer to stick with my own strength, thank you."

He scoffed, "Should've noticed."

Loki spreads his arms, and grinned, "Come on, what did you expect?"

Wong took his hand and shook, "Good game, I want a rematch next."

"I look forward to it," he grinned, "I hope wasn't taking a lot of your time?"

"Not at all, I was just finishing the last books to Hong Kong," he said.

Loki gestured to him 'please proceed', "by all means. I'll see you tomorrow. Thank you, Wong."

And the pair went their separate ways, Wong heading back to the library whilst Loki went the other way, hoping to visit Sylvie. He felt a surge of victory for mastering a new technique, and he wishes to share this with her. Perhaps one day, he'll teach her that.

But just as he was about to reach the entrance, in a blink of an eye, he came face to face with the two boys standing on the stairs, looking at him differently than before. Before, it was in disgust, and now, it's in awe. Loki wasn't shocked since he was able to feel their presence, but he did not expect them to appear right in front of him with huge grins on their faces.

He felt a little irritated, "You again? I thought I made myself clear that I don't babysit."

"Teach us!" the boy with a bowl-shaped haircut cried.

Loki blinked, did he just hear him right? "I beg your pardon?"

"Please, teach us," the boy beside him, whom he assumed to be his twin brother repeated, "We want to be strong like you."

Loki scoffed, "Hmmm, I think Thor can help you on that. Now scram you two." He walked past them. He thought that he made himself clear, but the two boys appeared beside him again. This made him stop in his track irritated, "Okay, please. I'm telling you right now, I can't teach, I don't teach, I'm not a teacher, and I can't help you. Now leave me be."

"But you said you learned all those magic they did yourself!" the thin child said.

"Yes, which is to the point I'm telling you that I don't teach, I'm a student myself."

"Liar," another one cried out, which made him grumble, "We never see you train with any of them except Wong."

"Yes, because I do it my way, but I still train my style. Besides, aren't you Wanda's children?"

"Yea," the thin one said, "Wanda is our mom."

"Then you got yourself a powerful Mom, perhaps she can teach you. Not me, because I'm not your mother."

"But she's not home," the other one protested.

"Then you'll just have to wait for her. Besides, didn't your mom set you up for training?"

"They're boring!" The two of them cried together.

Loki couldn't help but smirk, "They sure are. But they can teach, I can't. And I don't even know what to teach you."

"Teach us what you can do," the little one cried out, still not giving up, "We don't get what they do."

"Didn't you said that you are going to be an Avenger? Both of you?" Loki countered, getting really irritated. The twins looked down in shame, "Why don't you both reside to New York where the Avengers might be there? Oh, and the SWORD agent, perhaps they can train you there. I heard there's a new Captain America in town, so perhaps he's the one you can go to."

"But Mom said to stay here."

"Oh gods, this is really getting nowhere," Loki rubbed his face, feeling frustrated. Here he is trying to unwind and these two just had to show up, "Look, I can't teach, I'm busy, I'm not interested, and I won't ever teach, because I can't. That's the end. And you both have your training, right? Do your mother a favor and obey her. That's helping her tremendously, okay? Goodbye," And he strides forward, leaving them be.

"WE WANT TO HELP FIGHT THANOS!"

This made him stop at his track, his eyes wide open. That name he despises so much, it was enough to send a shiver down his spine….how does he know him?

He turned back again, this time one of the boys, the one with the bowl hair cut looks at him with teary eyes. The thin one stands at his back, holding his brother's arm.

Loki slowly walked back to them slowly, "Come again?"

The bowl-haired boy sniffed, "We want to help fight Thanos," he sniffed, tears leaking down his eyes. Suddenly the boy looks so small and frightened as if he had seen Thanos himself.

The God of Mischief squatted to his eye level, "Child, Thanos is already gone. Your mother helped taking him down, he won't come back."

"But what if he does?" he sobbed, wiping his tears with his arm, "This multiverse thing…." He hiccupped, "Something is going on, that's why Mom is never here."

"Your mother is just a little busy, she'll come home. Thanos is gone. Why are you speaking this way?"

"Because back in those multiverse branch thing…. whatever you called it when we were there to fight the Kangs…." he sniffed, trying to continue as best as he can, "I saw something…someone….something or someone evil. He…..he said…. He said he's coming for Mom, and he'll….he'll kill her and Dad again the same way in her nightmares. He said….. He said he's coming for us all."

"What?" Loki's eyes widened, Wanda never mentioned that her children saw something, which means that they are hiding the truth from her, just like I did for Sylvie, "Do you know what he looks like?"

He shook his head, "Only a little. He was wearing a red and green hood, I saw sharp teeth like vampires. And….and he said…. He said that he'll make my mom's worst nightmare come true again. And then I heard Agatha's laugh."

Loki furrowed his brows at this knowledge, never mind this Agatha, it's this certain someone who appeared to terrorize this child that made him feel uncomfortable, "Are you really sure that you saw something back at the branches?"

The child nodded vigorously, "I'm not lying! I swear it! Ask Tommy!"

Loki turned to the child beside him, and the brother only nodded with fear in his eyes, "I didn't hear what he said, but I saw him."

He felt like he had seen that face before when he was but a child himself. To make others believe in him. Loki turned back to the weeping boy, "What's your name, child?"

"Billy," he croaked, "my brother is Tommy."

Loki wracked his head around, during the battle with Kang with his brother and the rest of the Avengers, he did feel something a little different. Only subtle, he thought that it was Kang's powers, but never another person. Did Kang find an ally to join his cause?

He needs to see this through Billy's eyes, and he knows the right person to do this. He got up to his feet, "Kids, follow me."

Sylvie was just finishing The Hobbit when Loki appeared. She did expect him to drop by, but what she didn't expect is to see two boys with him.

She closed her book, and walked to him, "Loki?"

"Sylvie, I need you to come with me," Loki said, and his face looks like he means business.

"Loki, I'm not supposed to leave here."

"I can arrange that," And with a wave of his hand, a green light appeared at his palm, and then beside her, stands a perfect copy of herself, surprising her. Her copy blinked a couple of times, and she went back to the sofa and picked up the book she read, and started reading.

"Woah," the two boys said in amusement.

"What's going on, Loki?" Sylvie turned back to him, feeling a slight worry and excitement to leave this place.

"This child saw something back at the last battle we had with Kang," He answered, "I want to know what he saw, and I think you know how to do this."

Sylvie blinked, "I can, but I can't do my magic here."

Loki then grabbed her hand firmly, "That's why we are going to my room," he stated, there's urgent in his tone as well, "Kids, hold onto me tightly."

The twins obeyed, one of them hold onto his hand, and the other hugged his waist, which Sylvie finds cute. She can see Loki's cheeks turned a little pink and his mouth turned a little thin before he teleported them all to his room.

Once they appeared in his room, immediately, she can feel her powers coming back again. It feels so relieved to have it back again, back then, it felt like she was cut out of the air, and now she can breathe again. That cell really enchanted her to limit her strength, but now, she felt free to move.

With that knowledge, she took a look around in his room.

Sylvie had never seen Loki's room, and she has to say, Loki's room is quite impressive. One whole room for himself, a king-sized bed with a wide room. If anything, it looked like one of those five-star hotels she lived in during one of her apocalypse haste run away.

And it seems that the twins have never seen his room as well, they looked around in awe. The thin boy ran to his bed and sat on it, "You live here Mr. Loki?" his brother joined in, playfully testing how bouncy the bed is.

"Currently, reside," he answered, but both twins looked at him strangely, clearly not understanding his fancy English, "yes, I temporarily live here, Tommy. But please, don't call me Mister again, I sound old," the way he groaned made her giggle.

"Nice bed," he whistled, "Ours is a little smaller, but that's because we share with mom, and we have two beds."

"I see," Loki hummed without any interest as he took two chairs and placed them beside his bed, "Anyways, back to business. Please sit down, you all."

Sylvie took the chair beside him, sitting close to him. She can feel his warmth, something she missed every time they were apart, and to be with him without any watching eyes is the calmest feeling she had ever experienced since Day one here.

"Billy, Tommy," Loki cleared his throat, gaining all their attentions, "I believe you all remember Sylvie here," the twins nodded, "She, like me, can cast some magic. But for her, she can see memories of whom she can come into contact with. Basically, she can see what you saw. As long as they still have those memories, she has the power to see them," the twins nodded understandingly, Loki then turned to her, "Sylvie, I know that this is sudden for you. But Billy here, saw something during the last battle with Kang," he explained, gesturing to the boy, Billy gave a small wave of 'hi', to which she returned with a smile. Loki continues, "For some reason, while we were fighting, this entity seemed to reach out only to him and threatened him. I'd like to know what he saw but apparently, it's very subtle for me to reach it because it was brief."

Sylvie nodded, understanding where he's going. She brought her chair towards the little boy, "Billy?" the boy perked up to meet her eyes, he had been crying, she noticed. His blue eyes and cheeks are filled with soft red, mixed with fear in his eyes. Sylvie suddenly felt like the girl she was back then, lost and alone.

She shook her head, "Billy, may I hold your hands?" The child nodded and did as she requested. Sylvie gently squeezed his hands and conjured her magic to him, letting it flow gently into his mind, "Don't fight back, okay?" The child nodded, he took a deep breath and closed his eyes as he sighed. He allowed her to enter his memories.

That's when Sylvie was taken to his memory line.

The fight with Kang back in Somerset. There were many different kinds of him, all seemed to be glitching. She remembered this hard fight where she helped enchant and weaken them, giving the others the chance to throw them all to the portals the sorcerers made that lead them to the quantum realm to wherever they belong.

All seems to be going well until there was one branch portal that stretches silently like a root towards Billy.

No one noticed this but the child. This branch silently extended its arm and touched his mind, and that's when she saw it. There's someone with a hood on, cackling menacingly at him with a deep demonic voice, "My, my, Sylvie Laufeydottir. How you've grown."

Sylvie or Billy became stunned. Didn't he say it was a memory? She couldn't speak nor could she move, what's going on? "And how much chaos you've brought upon the world," he cackled again, but this time, there is dark magic overflowing him, "So much more to come." She suddenly couldn't breathe, trying to break her enchantment away from the child. He walked closer to her, making his teeth more visible, "I will come back again, and bring back every nightmare you've ever dreamed of to life, how would you like to see your other half's face when he sees the titan who choked him to death do it again? Just a little taste."

"SYLVIE!"

She gasped as she managed to break free from her enchantment but was repelled back to her chair. Breathing hard, she tried to look around and make sense of her surroundings. She's still in Loki's room, thank goodness.

"Sylvie," Loki appeared in front of her, "What happened?"

She swallowed, trying to regain her composure, "What was that?"

"You were breathing heavily as you were looking into Billy's mind," Loki said, "What did you see?"

Sylvie took a deep breath and sighed in relief, trying to calm herself down. Then she turned back to Billy, who looks as equally as frightened as him, "Billy," she tried to sound like everything is under control, but failed to grasp her shaky breathing, "That figure you saw…..what did he last told you?"

The child pursed his lips, "He said that he's going to make my mom's worst nightmare come true again and that he's coming for us."

Sylvie furrowed her brows, "Did he said that to you again when I visited your memories?"

He nodded, "Yes, I showed you what I remembered," he said, "I'm not making this up, I swear."

She pursed her lips, this boy is Billy as far as she can tell. But the memories…it's as if that monster lives inside his head.

And he was speaking to her. That thought gave shivers down her spine, is it just her who saw it?

She needs to test this one more time. She turned to Loki, "Loki, I need you to look into his memories."

"What?"

"Just do it," she grabbed his and Billy's hands and let her magic flow into each other.

She took him into Billy's memories and relived the same thing again, but this time, she was able to break free easily. Perhaps it's because Loki is with her. What she saw was the same, she's unsure what Loki saw.

When they opened their eyes, everyone, save Tommy, was astounded by what they just saw in his memories. But for Sylvie, she saw the same thing that she saw before, a totally different projection to what Billy saw.

Loki covered his mouth and slides it down his chin, "Why was he threatening you? And why didn't we see them? I didn't even notice his presence."

Billy shook his head, "I don't know," he said meekly before he started to slowly cry, "But he promises that he'll kill my Mom and my Dad and," he hiccupped, seemingly unable to continue, "…..and…."

Unable to bear the child's panic and distraught, Sylvie kneeled in front of Billy and gently holds his shoulders, ignoring her own fears on what she saw, "Billy, I promise you, nothing will come for you or your family," she tried to soothe the boy as best as she could, she doesn't know how to do it, but she did it the way she would do if she were speaking to her younger self, "Your mother is strong, and with the strongest team on Earth, and she'll do anything in her power to keep you safe."

"But is she keeping herself safe too?" the boy asked meekly, his tone so frightened and lonely. His brother scooted closely to him and hugged his arm, "I saw some other people from the agents out there who don't seem to trust her too. I don't know why, but I felt it."

Just how much does this child know about what others thought about his family? Sylvie thought.

"Billy, Dr. Strange, Thor, and the rest of the Avengers are with her, she'll be fine," Sylvie said, "I'm sure that at this moment, she wants to come back to you both. You two are the reason she wants to come back, just as any parent would."

"Dad didn't," Tommy blurted out sadly.

Sylvie was taken aback by his response, and she can tell Loki was at loss at words too. She has heard mentions of Wanda's husband, the Vision, from the rest of the Avengers and the people of Midgard. Just whispers that he sacrificed himself for the world. The concern of this child is so heart-breaking, here he is born in the middle of a war…because of her.

Billy's eyes welled up again, "I want to be with her in every battle, to know that she'll be okay. Dad's not here, which means she's on her own and we must be with her," he cried, "Mom is always out there, always fighting, but never here. When will she come home?"

When she sings come home, the lyrics that Loki sang back at the train came back to her again. So, this is what it meant waiting for someone to come back to them.

"Billy, Tommy," Loki called them, moving his chair closer to them, he looked a little uncomfortable, as if about to regret what he is about to say, "If I agreed to train you both," the twin's faces lit up, their disturbed feelings paused. Sylvie herself couldn't believe what he just said, squinting at him, "Will that erase your concerns?"

The twins turned to each other with surprise, the thought of concern and fear slowly disintegrate. Tommy scooted forward, wanting to be sure "Will you really train us?"

"Don't make me regret what I just said, boy. But yes," Loki groaned, he looked at Sylvie who still looked dumbfounded at this decision, he mouthed, I'll explain later.

Sylvie nodded and turned back to the boys. The twins took that as 'yes', they gave him a huge smile on their faces, "Yes! Yes!" they exclaimed, "That way, Mom can see that we're ready to fight with her and she'll be safe too," Billy grinned with a few left-over tears flowing down.

Sylvie couldn't help but wipe the tears plastering on his face, "Why did you want to train with this man?" She looked at Loki skeptically, "What did you do to them?"

Loki shrugged, "I didn't do anything," he said defensively, "I don't even know why they want me to train them. They have teachers of their own and I'm always far from them."

"I want to learn how to make things fly like him," Billy said with so much enthusiasm to her, his eyes was filled with so much trust to the God of Mischief, and for him to tell her as well without concern that she'll betray him is amazing, she felt a little comfort at that though. He continued, "Mom does it too but she's rarely here. And the teachers here are always talking about spirits and mystics…..We don't get it at all. My powers aren't the same as them, look." Billy lifted his hand a glow of blue appeared at the tips of his fingers, Sylvie watched what he was trying to do and found a floating book coming right at him. The book levitated slowly towards him, and it landed on his open palm, "See? But the magic people do here are making circle stuff coming out of their hands. I don't get it at all, and we're not even learning how to fight."

"And I can't even do magic at all, why must I learn this stuff?" Tommy chimed in with a pout on his face, "I can only run really fast, watch this," With a blink of an eye, the boy zipped past them and appeared again within a second with a bracelet in his hand, "Cool watch."

Sylvie looked at this 'watch' closely and realized that it's not a watch at all. In fact, it looked very familiar. Loki immediately snatched it from his hands, "Hands off the tempad, boy. It's not a toy," he scolded. So that's where her bracelet tempad went.

The boy giggled, "Sorry."

"Fine," he sighed before looking at them strictly, "10 A.M. Be at the training grounds. Sharp, don't be late. You are to do as I say from now on, no excuses. Do I make myself clear?"

"Yes, sir!" The twins shouted happily, their worries and fear are long gone.

Loki sighed and dismissively waved at them, "Get some rest, you have a big day tomorrow."

"Okay!" and before Loki could say anything else, the twins disappeared again in a blink of an eye, his door was wide open. Leaving only him and Sylvie alone.

Loki immediately jumped, he peeked out his door and scanned left and right, seeing if the coast was clear. Then he quickly closed the door and turned back to her, "I feel like I now understand what my mother and father felt when they were dealing with me and Thor."

"They believe in you so much," Sylvie pointed out, feeling content that he too is learning to gain other's trust.

"They're still kids," he softly said as he sat on his bed, he then looked at her and patted the space next to him, giving her a silent invitation. Sylvie understood and obliged his small request, sitting next to him, shifting nervously. It didn't occur to her that he's in his personal room, but Loki didn't seem bothered about it. He inhaled, "You were hiding something."

Sylvie looked at him, "What?"

"You were sweating really hard when you were seeing his memories, and you asked him whether he said the same thing again," Loki stared at her suspiciously, "What did you really see, Sylvie?"

She pursed her lips and looked down, not being able to say anything, she remembered clearly what she saw. How would you like to see your other half's face when he sees the titan who choked him to death do it again?

Sylvie shivered at the memory, is that even a memory? Who is this guy? And it doesn't sound like Kang.

"Sylvie," Loki called to her again, breaking her train of thoughts, "Hey," his hand slipped into hers, "Are you alright?" She nodded softly, but he didn't look convinced, "Are you sure?" she nodded again. "What did you see back there, Sylvie?"

This time, she shook her head, not willing to say what she saw. It was awful, and…..confusing. She saw an entirely different thing than what Billy saw, she's afraid that she's gone insane. Did being locked up turned her crazy?

"Sylvie," Loki called again softly, his tone very soothing, and he squeezed her hand, "Whatever you saw there, we can face it," he reassured her, "I'm not going to let whatever you saw there happen to you, no one is coming for you again, I promise. We can fix this, everything is going to be okay."

She shook her head, "This isn't about me."

Loki didn't respond immediately to her words, then he asks, "Then what is it?"

Sylvie didn't know how to say it, she didn't want to spell it out to him. Instead, she used another tactic. She grasps his hand and let the magic in her flow into his mind, allowing him to see what she saw. The closest thing she had done was when she tried to enchant him, but she failed to do so. He said that his mind is strong to repel her magic. But now, she's hoping that he'll allow her access into his mind. She didn't dare to say out loud that her nightmare is to see him dead.

As her magic poked his mind, she can feel that Loki opened her mind to her as his eyes turned light green, allowing her access. She let her memory flow to him smoothly, letting him see what she saw.

When the memory was finished, Sylvie broke their connection. Loki furrowed his brows, taking in what he saw through her eyes. He looked at her with concern and gently holds her shoulders, "Sylvie, what was that?"

She shook her head, "I don't know," She mumbled, "But that's what I saw."

"I didn't see that in Billy's memories," Loki said, "How come yours is completely different."

She shook her head again, not knowing the answer as well. But all that's clear, this particular person, who isn't Kang, knows who she is and what's she done. She scoffed, this is what she deserved for causing this mess, "He's coming for me."

"Sylvie," Loki scooted closer to her, she felt his arms snaked around her. In the past, perhaps she'd resist him, but she didn't, she allowed him to draw her closer to him. He felt so warm, it was enough to slowly melt the fear freezing her inside, "As long as I'm around, whatever that thing is telling you, he's not going to get what he wants. I assure you," he whispered to her ear, "We're going to win this fight, we can fix this no matter what. No one else can change that fact, he'll pay for his threats."

"How do you know that?" Sylvie still didn't feel convinced.

Loki drew her closer to him, he levitated them both so that he can sit his back at the headboard and hold her in a more comfortable way. Sylvie found herself pressing her cheek on his chest, just listening to his heartbeat. He continues, "We have help from the Avengers, they are the Midgardians who defeated Thanos and saved the world and the universe entirely with my brother, we have Mobius who is now leading the TVA to help alert the Avengers for any anomalies in the branch to look for Kang, we somehow have allies from space, one group has a talking rabbit and a tree," Sylvie scoffed at that thought, "and we are now living in the most sacred and protected place, guarded by the strongest sorcerers in this dimension. That thing will never stand a chance, as you said, we are stronger together."

Sylvie smiled at his optimism, it did rather sound like she didn't have to be worried at all. But experience had taught her not to underestimate anything so that pang of doubt is still hanging by a thread. She buried herself deeper into his chest.

And it seems that Loki can feel that as well, he placed his lips on top of her head, "We'll be okay, whether you believe it or not, I won't let anything happen to you. Kang or that thing won't get what he wants, and we'll stop him for good. No timeline can change that reality, I promise. We can defeat him. Together."

That, she is willing to believe. After her talk with Mobius, it was clear that Loki wouldn't let anything happen to her, and it seems that he won't let anything happen to his brother and friends. Even to the point, he's willing to teach the strongest witch's children.

He had done everything in his power for this war, and still manage to keep her company. Mobius was right, he does care for her a lot more than she thought he would. If her memories speak well, based on what he said, she can say that he is like his mother.

She was the kind of person you want to believe in you, she remembered.

And so are you, she wanted to say. But instead, she said, "Thank you."

He smiled at her and continues to hold her, "My pleasure."

They resume staying in that position, just enjoying each other's company. When was the last time she felt this content? The closest was probably back in the void, where they shared a blanket together. Even in the midst of chaos, it felt like they are in their own world.

Just the two of them again, like back in Lamentus-1 and the void beyond. How she wished they can stay like this forever.

In the midst of their moments together, she felt Loki tense a little. She looked up, "Loki?"

He was looking around as if sniffing the air like a wolf, "They're back."

"Who?"

"Strange and his friends, I think my brother is among them," he groaned, knowing what this will mean for them, "I'm afraid you can't stay here long."

She nodded understandingly, disentangling herself from him, and sat up, "I understand," she already missed his warmth.

"Come on," he said and holds her hand, "Let's go back."

To say that it was the first in a long time Loki felt peace was an understatement. To finally have Sylvie in his arms was a curse and a blessing. He enjoyed every moment with her very much, if anything, he'd hold her forever.

But to let her go is like ripping another part of him away. He missed her warmth already when they got up from the bed, he wished he can pack his bags and just flee with Sylvie. Then again, that'll destroy whatever they both had been building up to do to end this war.

When he teleported them back to her gazabo, he disintegrated the carbon copy of Sylvie with a wave of his hand. Now, it's just the two of them again. They were still holding hands, each not wanting to part.

"The people here fed you properly, right?" Loki asked, just wanting to be sure.

"Yea, don't worry about it," she said, "It's not poison, I assure you. Good healthy stuff. Oh, you owe Mobius a salad."

He laughed at that thought, So Mobius told her about it. "Good, good," he nodded, feeling a little nervous all of a sudden.

"You should get some rest," she squeezes his hand, "You have to be a teacher tomorrow."

"Right," he groaned, "If I teach them how to make fireworks, will that work better?"

"Loki," she groaned.

"Okay," he chuckled. He wondered a little why did he agree to train those two brats, he liked to think it's so that they both would stop crying.

Billy. There's something about that child that moved him, he wonders why. Perhaps I see myself in the child's eyes?

But then, the way Sylvie comforted the boy, she reminded him of his own mother. Even though she had never met her, he felt like she was like her for a second. She really cast her fears away to comfort the child, his admiration for her increased at that thought.

"Loki?" Sylvie called him, breaking his train of thoughts, "Are you okay?"

"Oh, yes," Loki cleared his throat, "I suppose I'll see you tomorrow."

"So long as you keep your promise to the twins," she teased.

"Right," he gritted his teeth, "I'll see to it done."

Sylvie smiled the way he always wanted to see her, she stepped forward and wrapped her arms around his torso, giving him a warm hug, "Good night."

Loki was taken aback at first but returned the favor. He loves her sweet natural scent and warmth, he'd imagine that he'll miss this very much. He gathered his courage and kissed her cheek lightly, "Sleep well."

Without realizing it, Sylvie turned her head to him, and she pressed her mouth to his. Once again, Loki was taken aback by the response but he recovered quickly. He kissed her back with an equal amount of care and tenderness towards her as he pulled her closer to him. She wrapped her arm around his neck. Their kiss was careful and soft, it's not as rushed as before. They have all the time in the world.

This, this is what he missed back when she pushed him away to another TVA. Back then, it was a declaration that they didn't want to hurt each other even though they had different views.

But now….Loki liked to believe that he is forgiven, a sense of understanding towards each other. Letting the past go and to a brighter future. A promise.

Air is becoming a problem to them both, and they had no choice but to break it. Sylvie was left breathless just as he is, her eyes were half-closed but still staring at him... lovingly.

Loki touched her soft cheek with the back of his fingers and tucked a strand of hair behind her back, just staring at her sea-green eyes. Her eyes are filled with care, and the similar eyes he used to see in his mother whenever she comes to see him. Adoration, care…..perhaps love?

He pressed a quick kiss on her forehead, "See you soon, dear Sylvie." And at that, reluctantly, he slowly disappeared from her cell.

And arrived in his own room, alone again.

Loki thought back to their last kiss, he couldn't help but smile. Perhaps it truly is a new beginning for them both.

And speaking of a new beginning for them, he remembered that he had to prepare a few things for the kids. He turned back and head towards the library.

This is the longest I've written. I made a small switch of POV from Billy to Loki here like how a movie would do. I hope it works.

Writing in the boy's POV is hard because I had to think like a little kid who lost their parents, and only just reunited with his mom, and was trained by some people who are into philosophies and spiritual stuff.

From my understanding, kids hate those stuff. In Kanar-Taj, I don't think there are kid students there, so I like to think that the teachers there just implement the same teaching techniques to the twins. And knowing them, they take after their uncle where they find a lot of things boring.

Thus, Loki becomes their teacher! I was battling on this part because Loki doesn't look like he'd be a teacher. But I remembered Snape for some reason while writing this, and it seems appropriate that he's that teacher like him. Strict but caring.

Loki's battle style was inspired by the Final Fantasy Versus 13 trailer, where Noctis summoned swords and cool magic and just slashes the enemy like they're his breakfast. Hahahaa! I hope the fighting duel scene made sense and was described well. I'm not really good at those but I'm willing to give it a shot.

This chapter wasn't easy because Marvel characters are huge, I don't believe that Kang is the only one behind the madness, so I slipped in someone else. Perhaps you might be familiar with him. Plus, Kevin said something else about a theory and confirming it, so this means I need to double my effort on the characters I need to slip in and their background and origin stories…..:( I made this fic to be short a few chapters, but voila...turned out the MCU is bigger than I thought it'd be.

I enjoyed the Sylkie moments here ^^ Loki learned to comfort Sylvie and try to make it up to her and she herself slowly trusting him. I hope it wasn't too fast though.

Let me know what you think! Stay safe everyone!
